"yes She and her you stupid little mutt." she said walking out of the small cell room and heading back into the dinning area so they could continue with the meal. "So now that matters are all settled, they can still have there Birthday party and the gifts they want." she said having Xue take there place at the table. Then looked at Taihei. "It seems you told him something dear? Did he understand or is he to stupid to understand?" she asked her husband. -- Taihei gripped the glass more looked at it as he took a sip so this is why they where treated badly and spat upon and why they where loved the way they should have been and Xue was getting all this happened to him cause he was more Lilith then he was. Xue went quiet not wanting to be insulted anymore, though it had helped him understand the confusion over his gender. Quietly he walked to the dinning room and sat by Taihei his hand slipping into his brothers instantly. On hearing what was said he shook his head "No thank you mummy, I have had my present and I don't want a party I want to stay in my room." he was looking forward to it then all this happened and now he just wanted to curl up and die.
~~ The father nodded "He asked why we have Xue dress like a girl." he stated turning the page "I explained and he said why didn't we adopt, he's so thick that he didn't understand when I said biological." he stated hit tone showing he was getting angry. He looked at Xue surprised that he was saying no to what they where offering "My, my dear what did you say to him for him to hate us so?" he asked watching as Xue looked down knowing how he hated upsetting them. |
She took her seat at the table looked at him then to Taihei blinked some holding the fan over her face as she scowled at the small child. "I see if that is what you want then so be it, I guess everything is waist any how then." as she looked away from the two children looked over to her husband. "course he wouldn't understand he not that bight after all. . . ." -- Taihei looked at this bother with the look of why. "Are you sure this is okay I thought you liked it at least where we could have a day. . .to be out side. . ." he asked him then looked to his mother and father. "Why what happened mum?" he asked. His mother looked at him from over the edge of the fan eyes narrowing not wanting to be questioned by the likes of him, I am the manry-est of men! |
Xue felt doubly bad as he knew they both got rewarded or nor at all it's how it normally worked or at least that's what he believed. "I do want to be out the room, I don't want to be insulted..." he closed his eyes "We don't deserve it... we've done nothing wrong!" he was at breaking point, it was something that had happened a few times in the past but never normally in front of their parents.
Quicky he stood and removed the nightgown, and threw it at his mother "I am a boy and always will be. I have the parts and the name to prove it!" he knew he would regret it later when he had came back to his senses but for the moment he was getting everything off his chest "If you want a girl then get one like how your friends have done." his eyes closed "And Taihei shouldn't be punished for something I'm doing!" his eyes went to his father as he took one of the sharper knifes on the table while grabbing his hair and cutting it short throwing the knife down "She wants be to be a girl!" with that he left the hall once more leaving their father stunned to see the more timid of the two acting the way he was. |
"Well then, if this is how it is. . . .then." as she stood up throwing the night gown to the floor then looked to her husband. "get rid of them both I don't need children any more then. . . " as she walked away from the table down the hall to the other side of there large home. Taihei stood up looking his mother and father. "You can't just throw us away like we are trash don't you even care what you are doing or even care what you have put is through?" he yelled his eyes filling with tears he hated them he fought to so hard he was not going to let it end this way. "I wont be treated like trash I wont be thrown away!" Looking back at him she held the fan up to cover her face again. "I don't care. . . .when things don't listen they have no use in this house any more right dear?" she asked her beloved. I am the manry-est of men! |
The father looked up from his paper not sure what was going on it seemed like the whole house had went topsy turvy in the matter of forty-five minutes of their kids being out of their cell "Hold on my dear..." he said his eyes going to Taihei "We can do as we like as your parents." he said coldly but moved his hand to his glasses pushing them up to sit comfortably on his face "I have a task for you that should make everyone happy and my live easier for a while." he placed down his paper.
Pointing to the peach nightgown "if you wish to remain here you will take that and get Xue to wear it, you will get him to come back here and apologise to his mother and you will be the one giving him whatever penance your mother decides." he paused for a second "After which he will go back to your cell for the remainder of the day without anything to eat or drink, you however will be rewarded." he stated knowing it was a peaceful solution to the problem. |
Taihei looked at them both then to the night gown unsure of what to do as he wanted to have a little bit of time out side of the dark room he walked over picked up the night gown and head off to see Xue. Walking down the hall he held it trying to gather up his thoughts some sighed a little trying to see what he could do or even say to him to have him understand or anything but he him self may have to tell him why it was happening from the start. He blinked some then took a deep breath as he walked into the doll room past it to go into the small room they lived in. "Xue?" I am the manry-est of men! |
Xue would be curled against the cold wall his naked back touching it shivering as he had no clothing on. he hadn't even dared to pick up his normal ragged clothing he had a feeling they where going to be taken from him anyway. Hearing footsteps he wasn't use to he whimpered a little thinking it might be someone he needed to keep happy and it was something he never looked forward to more so now as he was sure his parents wouldn't even give him a reward for doing it.
Hearing his name however he sat up and looked to the other "They hate me don't the Taihei." he moved his knees to his chest "I-I don't know why I snapped like that, I-I just want to be good and feel loved something they never give us." tears fell from his eyes it was easy to see just how regretful he was over his actions "And now my hair's gone too." |
". . . No, Xue, its just. . . father told me why they do this." he sighed some walking in and moving over to the other. "This is needed they want you be this child cause we are the reason why we are treaded badly cause mother can't have any more children after us." I am the manry-est of men! |
Xue shook his head hearing what his twin had said to him he refused to believe it "I don't care why they do this to us it's not right... i-it can be can it?" he asked tears falling from his eyes he was trying to understand but everyone has that breaking point and he had passed his years ago. as his brother moved over to him he just curled more tears steaming down his cheeks hearing the reason.
"I am not a girl and refuse to be one! I don't care how much of a bad boy that makes me!" he said in a slightly raised voice "I was made a boy not a girl..." he wanted his mothers love but he wanted it for him not some fake child he was forced to be. "We never asked to be born... We never asked to be different... we never went out of our way to destroy her womb." his eyes closed as he was crying so hard he was finding it hard to breath "They had a daughter before us, they killed her!" |
Taihei knew what his sibling was saying as he held the other close sighed some knowing he wasn't going to win in it so he sat there nodded some. "Yeah they did. . .they did kill her. . . " he said. "You don't have to wear this or follow what they say, Xue, you are you, a find young boy who will grow up to be fine young man. . . ." the older boy said well assuming he may have been older to the other but they both could hardly tell any more. Xue looked to the other as he sat on his mat like bed "Your going to get your clothing dirty." he whispered shaking a little more, they had always been doubly punished for messing up the good clothing they where given and he didn't want him to be punished for any reason. "So it's not that they didn't have a daughter before, what was wrong she look to manly?" he sat up hugging the other, it was the only reason he could think of that their mother who wanted a girl so badly would kill over. "Are you going to be punished if I don't wear it?" he didn't know anything that happened in the dinning room so asked.

He smiled figure it was little better to allow him to be who he was so he lied. "No. . .and I will be fine." he smiled. "If you wanna stay here it will be okay so don't worry." as he pet Xue on the head then stood up. "It's okay if it's dirty they can wash it and hang it back up like they always do." as he smiled still. "So just rest up okay? and I will be back in bit." as he took the night gown with him headed back into the dinning room, once he was back seeing that there mother never came and it was only there father he bowed his head to him. "I'm sorry father. . . .I can't make him wear it and I wont force him. I am sorry you hate us. . .but I will take whatever punishment you need give and. . .you can fully cancel the birthday party." he said shaking knowing what soon will follow after all this. Xue looked to the other, he knew he was lying but didn't want to call him on it. "Okay." he whispered letting go of his brother as he stood up laying down covering himself in his tattered blanket. He wanted to believe everything would be okay but he knew just how vicious their parents could be so waited for a few minutes before standing up and going into the doll room his eyes going to the wardrobe with his symbol on it.
Slowly walking to it he checked to see if there was a nightgown that their mother would like but wasn't overly girly, but seen nothing. From the corner of his eyes however he seen one laying on his bed and a girl sitting next to it. 'Wear this, mother loved this one.' it whispered before vanishing. Moving forward he looked to it, it was long, flowing made out of white silk with baby pink lace frills here and there with pink ribbons on the sleeves and at the sides to be able to tie at the back. Picking it up he put it on he took the ties at the side and done his best to tie it into a bow but failed, none the less he ran out the room trying to catch up to his brother only to see him as he entered the dining hall he slipped in behind him holding his hand keeping behind him. Their father was about to say something but his mouth closed for a second as he picked up the paper. "Interesting prank you filth thought up, Taihei go get changed that clothing is filthy." he wouldn't punish for the infraction of rules at the moment but would do later he just wanted to read the newspaper. |
Taihei looked at his father then looked behind him bowed his head again, "I'm sorry father, I am very sorry and I will father." as he looked at Xue but didn't say anything the head off down the hall to dead back into the room find something else to wear. "Where did that come from?" he asked quietly. I am the manry-est of men! |
Xue stood where he was hiding behind his brother for as long as was there, his eyes following as his brother was made to go change. his eyes went to the table but only seen their father his heart dropping as he no longer seen his mother sitting there "Daddy does mummy hate me?" he asked his head lowering his voice shaking he was scared at what the answer might be.
His father sighed picking up the paper "If I was her I would after how you disrespected her love..." he explained pointing to a chair indicating Xue to sit "Your mother went to a tailor to get that nightgown specially tailored for you and you threw it back in her face, you disrespectful little bitch!" he growled showing he wasn't amused. Xue listened and nodded to show he understood taking his chair at the table. He knew he would have to beg his mother's forgiveness for how he had acted his eyes going to the half eaten bowl of porridge "I think I had to much sugar." he whispered to himself not wanting to upset his father any further. |
Taihei headed into the doll room walked over to the wardrobe opened it up to look though it to see what kind of clothing he would need to wear for the day it seemed he had gotten his morning wear dirty he sighed some as he began to look carefully about what was going to be needed. The girl would be sat on the bed once more looking at Taihei a small smile on her face. "Please wear this... Mother said she would love to see it on a boy however I was born a girl but liked it so wore it." she laughed a little on the bed was a smart trench coat made out of silk with a silver thread lining, higher at the front which made it look like a specially made top beside it was white linen trousers and some casual yet smart shoes. "I hope you like it" with that she faded once more

Taihei sighed knowing who it was looked to where they where it wasn't a dirty secret of who she was. It was just that when the found out who it was the scare factor went away and pity and sadness filled his heart. Walking over to the bed he looked at it smiled some sighed again started to get dressed, once he was done headed out head out to the dinning room bowed. "I have returned father." he said. The father looked up from his newspaper seeing what he was wearing and what Xue was wearing he looked almost shocked. "Take a seat..." he said rising going to find his wife to tell her about the clothing knowing she wouldn't believe it as the clothing had been locked away since before the two boys where born.
Leaving the dinning room he went back to his own bedroom and entered "My dear, there is a problem I believe. Her clothing... they are wearing some of it, the favoured dress you got for her and the outfit you would have wanted for a boy." he explained. |
Looking away from the window she looked over to him with a look of shock and anger. "How did this happen? I thought we locked all of that away?" as she gritted her teeth trying not to become even more upset she held her self in place went on with her husband back into the dinning room to see. Taihei watched confused as he watched his father rush out of the room and took his seat. "I think he is mad. . . . " he said to him self. I am the manry-est of men! |
Her husband shook his head "I don't know, I know we never bought anything like that after her, especially not for those brats." he explained, he just didn't know how it could have happened as he doubted his children had the intelligence to be able to figure out that a key needed to go into a lock let alone turn it. Taking his wife's hand he walked back to the dining hall
Xue just went back to eating his breakfast thinking it might be the last time that he would be eating for a while his empty hand slipping back into his brothers. He tried bot to be frightened of his fathers strange behaviour |
Walking out of the hall way into the dinning room, she looked at the two children holding back her temper she wanted answers and wanted to know why and how. If it wasn't something that she wanted to know hear it would be punishment for them both. "Tell me where did the clothing you are wearing come from?" Taihei looked at her then to his father then Xue, then back to her. "She. . .game it to me. . ." he said honestly. I am the manry-est of men! |
Xu looped up the spoon in his mouth he pulled it out swallowing what was in his mouth "At first I thought it was my birthday present for you, but big sister gave it to me saying it was the dress you liked the most." he explained looking back To Taihei "Can I finish eating?" he asked trembling a little he coult tell his mother was angry but he didn't know why this time they had been good and wearing what their mother and father liked most.

"What do you know about her?!" she started to yell falling into a panic. "She has been gone long before you where even born!" as she fell to her knees holding her head breaking down into a fit of tears. "M-mother?" Taihei said as he stood up looking over the table to his mother. I am the manry-est of men! |
Xue looked for a moment looking down "She was to boyish in her mannerisms and looks so you couldn't love her like you wanted... our room is where she was tortured, beaten and starved and she was suffocated and stabbed in the doll room" he said answering her question tears falling he didn't want to say it and he didn't want his mother crying.
Their father moved to his knees and held his wife close making soothing sounds "It's okay my dear, you are a good mother... she is the one that failed not you." his eyes moving to glare at his two sons |
"Argh ahhhhh!" as she started to scream and stood up pulling away from her husband. "Both you get out of my face, right now!" as she stumbled over to the table to hold her self up as she pick up a cup threw it across the room. "OUT!" she yelled again throwing things them both to get out of the room. "You do not speak about what happened to her you dirty little monsters!" she cried. Taihei ducked as he pulled Xue out the room with him so they wouldn't get hit by flying dishes that there mother was throwing. "Xue why did you have to say it out loud?" he asked watching as his mother went into a panic scream and yelling/ I am the manry-est of men! |
Xue watched and ducked under the table as he seen something being flung at him, a glass barely missing his head "M-mummy..." he whimpered moving to crawl further towards her wanting to comfort her tears falling from his eyes. hearing her anger he whimpered and crawled out of the room as he was dragged but sat by the door wanting to know how to make it right but he didn't know if he could. "Because she asked the question... I can't help it I get hit if I don't answer questions." his eyes went back to their father that was trying to calm his wife

"You could have just said she gave it to you, to tell her what they did just made her mad. . . . I think" he said to him watching the women push chairs out of the way and flip the table over as she threw more of the china every where then falling to the floor as she placed her hands over her face sob more. "Little brats. . . .I hate them so much. . . .I hate them. . . ." she said to her self. I am the manry-est of men! |
"But she asked what we knew of her, so I told her... if she didn't want the answer she shouldn't have asked the question should she?" he sounded confused if that was how it worked, his eyes looked to his mother their father still trying to calm her.
Soon he stood and walked into the room his eyes closing "Why are you still filled with grief? You have two children who can fill both your needs if you demanded it of them why grieve over me who was disobedient even now in death" his voice was calm as he spoke he took his mothers hand in his own "He longs for your love no matter what you do to him, the other to be normal and to do things other boys do but you keep them locked up like me" a smile move onto his face "I gave them these things to please you my mother as these where the most favoured clothing for a boy and girl." with that Xue's eyes opened and he looked up to his mother falling back screaming as he cut his hand on a broken glass and some china "I-I didn't mean it... you are a good mummy... Don't hate me... please mummy." |
A growl came from her as heard Xue spoke. "Damn it!" she didn't know how to make of things but she knew it was rather angering she stood up pulled away unable to keep her wit she walked out of the room. "No. . . I will have this. . . " she ignoring Xue once he was out of his possession like state. "Deal with them. . ." as she headed down the hall way. Taihei ran over to Xue, "Xue. . . " as he picked up one of the napkins and wrapped his hand up in it. "We will have to clean it out quick and wrap it up after this. . . " I am the manry-est of men! |
Xue watched their mother walking out the room, his hand was stinging he could feel it but he had no idea how the hell he got into the room "I didn't need to see that Suyin!" he grumbled looking back to his brother as he called his name "My hand hurts." he explained their father moving after their mother at the moment his brat children where the least of his worries or concern "You think if we turn this into a day for mummy she might be happy again?" he asked sitting where he was.

"I don't know any more on what to do she hates everything we do and. . . father makes it seems that we are nothing more then this large burden to them both. . ." he said letting out soft sigh. I am the manry-est of men! |
Xue brought his hand forward and started to pull the shards of what was in his hand "Well we can't run we wouldn't survive we don't know anything outside the house." he winced as he pulled out a large shard of glass "Lets fix my hand and clean out my wardrobe of boy clothes that'll make mummy happy i'm sure and then perhaps we can find the craft room and make her a card and stuff."

"yeah sure, we can do that Xue, we can do that." as he got up with his bother headed off down the hall to tend to the others hand looked back to see the maids fill the dinning room to start cleaning everything as if nothing had happened. I am the manry-est of men! |
Xue didn't want to give up his life as a boy but as it stood his mothers love meant more to him than anything he wanted. Xue allowed him to be helped up making sure not to get the blood on his dress "Taihei, start calling me she and her... w-we need to find me a new name perhaps I can take her name so it'll be like mummy never lost her." he knew it could backfire however

"How about I. . . .just call you she and her and just call you Xue, it is better that way so we wont have to suffer with her beating us half to death by saying her name. . . ." he said to him as he got the other into the bathroom to get the first aid kit, started to tended to Xue hand cleaning it out and wrapping it up. He blinked nodding to what the other had said "Okay and mummy can name me, that way I have a name she will like and we can at least give her the daughter she wants so badly." he smiled wincing as his hand was tended to "Not my fault I came out a boy" he whimpered tears falling as his hand stung badly "I WANT MUMMY!" he cried out feeling the pain fully

Taihei looked at him unsure of what to once he started to cry for there mother knowing she wouldn't want to see him for a long while. "Come on lets go work on the card and we can do all the other thing you want later. And I know its not your fault you where born a boy, but I think Xue, you are you and no one else but of you want to do this to please her. . . .I wont stop you. . . ." he said just feeling annoyed at the other and how much he wanted love from a women who hated him. He knew that he had angered his mother so she wouldn't want to see him for the longest of times but it still hurt as he thought mothers where meant to be loving and forgiving of their children. He stood nodding to going to get the card made hoping they didn't make to much of a mess so it wouldn't cause anymore ripples in the water. "Thank you Taihei..." he was glad the other sort of understood but he also knew that he was angry at him, but then he had always been a mummy's boy craving attention from her in the hopes to keep it but it always seemed never to happen
