Adrian's home had many halls ways and rooms but there was a hall way that was never very well list or even touched by the help with in the house it was forgotten and left along on his behalf this part of the house is the part that Adrian him self wanted to forget about and everything that was his past with his mother and father anything that was family in away. I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun stopped seeing the hallway that seemed to be less maintained than the rest of the house "Memories that someone wishes to forget..." he muttered before moving on. It wasn't his place to delve into someone else's past and he knew he wouldn't want it happening to him. Eventually he came to a door with a tray outside it and blinked for a moment knowing previously that the room had never been used before. Going to the room he knocked gently wondering who was going to answer, he just hoped that Adrian's guest would be understanding with his disturbance he really just wanted to make sure Miyako was safe as he himself was paranoid over such matters as her safety.

Looking over the book Hatori was confused as to who would be there usely the maids would knock saying they have something for him and would leave it out side for him to slowly drag into his room then place it out later. But crawling out of the bed he slowly opened the door a crack to look out to see who it was. "Hello?" was all he said. I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun watched as the door opened cautiously his head tilting a little as he didn't know anyone who would do that, normally a person would just tell you to come in. His eyes went wide as he straightened his neck hearing Hitori's voice, before he could even think or even stop himself he had already pushed his way through the door and hugged him close and tightly. "I thought I had done something to offend you, please in future let me know if there is anything wrong." he couldn't care less who saw what he was doing he was so happy that hitori was close and that he could see and tend to him daily like he had originally intended to.

The other youth almost fell back into the all the books that was in his room as he he saw Shun come into his room and suddenly hold him close. He was confused by the other as to why he was here then thought for moment that he stayed here two. Thinking his room was in the far off area he didn't think no one could really find him other then his older cousin. "W-why are you here in this part of the house?" he asked feeling a little odd to be held. "I can't tell you anything. . . .cause I know how you will be if I even tired to explain it to you. . . .so it wouldn't matter. . . ." he said pulling away from the other making his way around the stacks of books back over to the bed crawling back on it to pick up the book he was reading before. I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun held him close for a little longer smiling happily "I was wondering around, trying to get my thoughts together." he replied, it wasn't exactly a lie but then it wasn't exactly a full truth either. "Adrian said things that couldn't be true but recently I don't know... I guess I haven't been sleeping well, every time I close my eyes whispers start." he had no idea what was going on with that but he really didn't want to put his sleeping problem on the other.
As the other pulled away he looked to the other with a saddened look more so as he manoeuvred around the stacks of books "Do you hate me because of Miyako?" he asked remembering how Adrian said that Miyako seemed to be the problem as she was over baring. |
Hatori sat on the bed sighed some shook his head. "I don't hate you. . .I never hated you. . . .I just can't be there knowing that I can't truly be there at all." he said looking down at the book. "But as I have said, you wouldn't understand, its part of who you are and where you are from. You are normal unlike all of us here. . . .none of us are what you think is normal. . . .what you hear in your sleep is the truth but you wont let them talk to you. . . ." as he just looked around his room then back to the book in his hand. "Here this is a book on the ideal and thoughts of the myth of the red thread." as he handed him the book, then reached over to the pile to get another book for him to read. I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun felt relieved on what the other had said however it still weighed on him as the other finished his sentence "That's not true, I want you to be with me..." his cheeks blushed a little "The moment our eyes touched I believe I felt the spark of love." he moved his hand to the back of his head "I must sound like an idiot for saying that." he laughed nervously though it ended as the other held out a book which he took.
"Don't you think if there was something special about me my parents would have told me." his eyes closed but then again given his upbringing he knew that might not have been the case "Thank you Hitori, it might have been short... but I knew what the calm felt like." he turned his back heading to the door truly wishing that it wouldn't come to an end but he knew that certain things would always be denied to him it seemed |
"I'm sorry. . . .I like you also, but I really do feel like it can't ever be. . . .I like the feeling of having another around it was nice, it made me want to try and live out life. But when it clear that the one person in you life will not allow it, it harder for others to want to be close. . . .even for someone like me who is already afraid of the world and is a shut in can't compete with that kind of brash love. . ." I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun touched the handle of the door as he heard the other speak his head dropping as his eyes closed tears welling in his eyes "Then we will defy that fate..." he said turning quickly looking at Hitori with a soft determination "If we want this we need to fight for it, I am willing to defy my family... my sister... for you..." he walked forward "Are you willing to deny what your threads say?"

The green eyes boy looked at him hugged the book in arms close. "My thread has an end. . . .but its not tide to off, a bond is stronger when a thread is tied off, but if not it is frail and is weak. That is what I am frail and weak, I am everything my thread is. . . unlike Miyako's which is strong, lots of, thick. . .she holds the most love for you it rather scary. . . " I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun rolled his eyes for a moment "Talk of threads, ignore that..." he moved his hand out for the other to take "You are far from frail and weak, the beating you seemed to have attained would have killed a frail and weak being... you survived and are moving as if it didn't happen." he closed his eyes shaking his head "Allow me to be the one that shows you how to be strong..." he bit his lip hating that he was talking about love as it it was string "Miyako is over baring, I want something for me... where she may love me a great deal, I see her as only my sister." and that was true, his own thread would have shown that more so as it would show strain as he tried to pull away from her.

Looking to the other he held on to the book in his hands but wanted to reach out and take the other by the hand. "I guess. . . .but please the way I view things is how I few them since I was child. . . .so whatever you think and how you dislike it. . . .it is something I can't change about my self. . . " as he looked at the other more blinking some reading his aura/ I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun smiled looking to him his eyes soft "I couldn't care if you where a fire breathing dragon from hell who could shoot lightning, I wouldn't want you to change... I'm asking for you to take a leap of faith." his voice was soft as he spoke. Even now he could feel his cell phone vibrating but ignored it at this moment in time the most important thing to him was already in the room. "She chased my friend Sho away, I will not allow it to happen for a second time even if we must keep it as our secret."

Hatori blinked some his two colored hair hung over his face nodded a little reached out to take the other by the hand. "Okay. . . I guess we can try if it will make a difference in away or not." he said to him. I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun smiled seeing the other take his hand in his own. "Why do I hear voices when I close my eyes?" he asked he doubted the other would know but then he was right it was more than likely something he didn't want to know. Sighing he pulling his phone from his pocket looking at who was calling he sighed "Accept call." with that he placed the phone to his ear "Miyako call back later I'm busy." he pulled the phone away "End call." with that he placed the phone back in his pocket. "We can deny our fates." he confirmed to the other

"Didn't think it would matter if we could or not." he said sighing some watching him tell the other he was busy and sat on the bed. Hatori curled some feeling tired as he laid down not sleepy just tired from everything. "What will you do now? She will come out here for you Shun. . ." he said. I am the manry-est of men! |
"It doesn't but it's fun to try.." he laughed a little, he knew the threads of fate where hard to anticipate and even harder to break but he was willing to give it a try. Shun moved to the bottom of the bed and sat shrugging to the question "I never thought that far, I've been avoiding her for two days." it was a freedom that he knew would come to an end when he was found but for now he was enjoying it "Well she'd have to find me first and I've never been to this part of the house so I doubt she will come." he said honestly.

"Adrian asked me where I wanted to live so I came here cause it is out of the way and not a place where most people come and it was just right for me the only real guest I would have where teachers and Adrian him self. . . ." he said looking to some, then back to all the books with in his room. I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun smiled tilting his head a little "Well lets go get something to eat and get out of this cramped room." he hopped in time that he may be able to get the other to come and stay at his room but he wanted to take things slowly as he still didn't even know how to break the news to Miyako he was dating.

"Ummm I really don't like leaving, to me this okay I like all my books. . . " he said. Hatori was not very outside room oriented yet it was another long process that was going to take some time for him to get used to like his little apt. He never had anything on the walls it was plain kinda like how he lived his life, plain. I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun looked down biting the inside of his cheek knowing this was going to be a lot of work but something told him that Hitori would be worth the effort. "I have a little work and then I'll make us something and we can eat it here or my room." he said waiting for what the other thought.

"I only have that small desk. . . we can move into one of the study rooms where Adrian allows me to learn" he said as he got up crawling off the bed opened the door headed out walked down the hall, moving about four doors down he opened the room up showing it was one of the larger studies. "We can eat in here is that okay?" I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun blinked noticing that it really would be difficult to walk in the room but nodded to what the other said following out of the room to where they would be eating seeing the door he nodded "Okay we can eat here daily, it'll be our special area until you feel like having a meal outside, like a picnic." he said kissing his cheek gently. "I'll be back in about an hour I have a few things I have to do." with that he walked off to his room.
Once inside his room he moved to his desk and brought out a piece of paper as he placed the book on threads down a smile on his face as he picked up a pencil and began to draw |
Hatori nodded some and walked over to a chair and sat down in it with the book he had in his hands opening it up started to read it. -- Miyako growled then threw her phone across the room then stomp her foot. "What could be more busy then me!" she yelled walking out of the room heading down stairs to her mother and father. "Mother Father where is Shun! He will no answer my calls at all!" as she pouted then became sad suddenly. "I want my bother!" she cried. I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun continued to draw, he was taking his time as he hoped that Shun would put this on his wall to at least give it some sort of personal touch to his room. "He talks off threads so perhaps that can help..." he said smiling happily.
~~ Her father sighed hearing what was going on "Hello princess, what's wrong?" he already knew it was going to be related to Shun and sighed hear it was "We'll he does have a lot of work Miyako." he explained handing over his own cell knowing Shun knew better than to ignore himself or his mother. "Use that and call him." |
Miyako looked at her father with a frown some sniffled some as she took his phone looked down at it. "He can't be that busy can he?" she asked sighing some then flipping open the phone to call Shun. I am the manry-est of men! |
Her father looked at him and shrugged a little "At the moment he would normally be studying." he explained pulling her into his lap comforting her as she called up her brother.
~~ Shun heard his phone go off her grumbled and growled as it had startled him he made a mistake. Pulling it out of his pocket with a sigh before seeing who it was rolling his eyes a little "Answer." with that he brought it to his ears "Yes father how can I help?" he asked his voice calm though showed slight agitation |
"Where are you and why wont you pick up my calls!" Miyako cried over the phone, as she curled against her father waiting for Shun to give an answer. -- Hatori looked about the area closing the book then made his way over to the table set it down to look over to the window and look out to see Sho was there along with Adrian sitting out side eating something together tilting his head to the side he blinked a little. I am the manry-est of men! |
"Oh my word Miyako..." he grumbled his hand going to his head he just wished he could hanf up but he knew better if he was getting contacted through his fathers cell phone. "I am in my room at Adrian's home, I won't pick up your calls because I am busy with things needed for the school year, studies and my bo..." he trailed off "What do you want Miyako? I'm about to make dinner"

"You haven't come home and you suddenly left after you ran off cause father said that Hatori was someone you shouldn't be around cause he gives you odd crazy stories." she said to him over the phone. "You need to come home and leave that place be." she whined to him. I am the manry-est of men! |
"Of course I haven't come home I have summer school here unlike you princess, I have to study during time people have fun." he grumbled a little standing up to head to the kitchen "I'm starting to think the stories aren't so crazy Miyako, I hear things at night from the shadows." yeah he knew he sounded crazy even to him that sounded crazy but he had to voice it "I am staying here I have a..." he trailed off as he walked down the stairs he didn't want her mad or upset but he almost put his foot in it

"What do you mean the stories are not just stories you are normal and whatever you hearing is cause you are not home." she whined over the phone. "I want you, to come home now! I don't like Mafunes meals they taste funny as of late with out your help and you have to come back for my dance recital I am going to having." I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun moved his hand to his head massaging his right temple for a moment before putting the phone down and placing it on loud speaker on the counter "Your on loud speaker now so mind your manners." he said going to get some pots, knives and the ingredients he would need for his and Hitori's meals. "Exactly what I said I don't think they are stories Miyako. When I close my eyes I hear whispers like I am trying to be told something... when I open my eyes the whispers stop, that isn't normal." he explained sighing as he started to de-bone a chicken "You can whine all you want I'm only here because father has me doing summer school here, so blame him" he didn't blame his father this time as something good seemed to have came from it.
He cleaned the top after starting to boil the chicken left overs for a stock to make chicken noodle soup "I am not coming home now I am cooking now, it's only four more weeks and school starts again you can see me then." he started to crunch up some garlic and chop some herbs before putting them in some butter "her meals are fine your just fussy and I won't be able to attend I am spending some time with a friend at Adrian's request." originally spending time with Hitori was Adrian's doing now he wanted to spend time with him because he loved him, but he wasn't ready to tell her the whole truth. |
"But. . .Shun." she said pouting some then just hung up the phone looked at her father. "Why did you have to send him away father?" as she pouted even more, it was one thing that Shun was gone but not coming to one of her dances was pushing it. "Why would he hear whispers I wanna know." looking hard at her father. -- Hatori laid on the pillows that he piled up into a small fort around him as he read a book about pirates and how he hid them. Not having any one to really play with he would just play alone like now as he pulled out the blanket from his room to make a house like strucker and would duck in and out. It was a lost childhood he didn't have. I am the manry-est of men! |
Her father looked at her as she spoke to her brother only getting half the conversation but it was enough to get him worried. "I sent him to summer school as he needed to study a bit more for his future." he said kissing her cheek not wanting her to know that soon he would be bound in servitude to her until he died. "He is likely hearing voices through stress my princess, and don't pout someone as beautiful as you will ruin your reputation." he said laughing a little hugging her close.
~~ Shun sighed hearing the last part and the phone being hung up as he began to cook the meal. "Why do you have to do that Miyako?" he whispered wondering why so much pressure had been put on him through out his life but Miyako seemed to have been brought up with nothing but freedom. Soon the dinner was ready he started dishing it up "Dial Adrian." he said his cellphone calling who it had been directed to. "Adrian I left dinner for you and Sho on the table, I hope you enjoy it I'm going to be having mine with Hitori. Talk later." he said as he washed the final thing he had used, drying it and putting it away "hang up." with that he moved placing his phone in his pocket before taking the tray with his and Hitori's soup, main course and desert to Hitori's door knocking lightly with his foot. "Hitori dinner." |
Looking over to the door he got up headed over to the door opened it to let Shun in soon as he shut it he hurried back over to his small fort and climb in side it again with his book curled up on the pillows. "What is it?" he asked as he looked out some from thee fort from behind the book. -- "I hope it is stress. . . .but it's still not fair. . ." she said as she leaned against her father. "Not fair. . ." she sighed some, closing her eyes. I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun looked at the other as he opened the door and ran inside slowly walking in after him blinking at the fort "interesting fort you have there." he said holding the trays still knowing this was no going to be an entertaining meal to say the least "Chicken noodle soup, garlic herb chicken stuffed with cheese, with carrots, peas and butter herb new potatoes and pineapple upside down cake and custard." he said happily moving to a table getting everything set up. "Are you coming out here to eat?" he asked looking down at Hitori.
~~ Her father looked down at her his eyes saddened he wanted to see her happy, that made everything worthwhile for him "If he can't come here then we will get him to watch your performance over a live feed." it was the best thing he could think of on such short notice but something told him he may have to have words with his nephew to keep Hitori away from Shun. |
"Okay." was all he really said as he crawled out from the fort and headed over to the table and sat down. "You sister is upset by the way." as he sat down looked at the meal placed his hand together bowed his head. "I am thankful for this meal." as he started to pick at the food some then started to eat. -- "Can we really do that father? It would be so wonderful if we could." said Miyako looking over to her father. "If can't then I still want him to watch it. I don't see what is so important that he can't come." she said walking away to do some training. I am the manry-est of men! |
Shun sat across from Hitori clasping his hands his eyes closing for a second as he tried to say thanks but the whispers came "not again..." he mumbled to himself his hands still clasped he bowed his head his eyes open so he could concentrate on what he was doing, once finished he picked up his cutlery "Tell me something I don't know... she isn't use to not getting her way with me." he said sighing eating a piece of carrot. "good?" he asked gently.
~~ Her father nodded to what the other asked "Yes, it will not be to hard I will make the arrangements." he said kissing her head softly "He has lessons my sweet, it's not like we can fly him in then fly him out." he said watching as she went to her dance hall. |
