"Well, academics wise, I placed in the lower tier." he told Asami, looking down a little in his embarrassment. "Abilities wise, I placed in the top tier." he said, having forgotten which place.

"What scene?' he asked, chuckling a little bit. "People were talking and you never bothered to listen, cutie." he said, smirking towards her.

"Oh I see" she was about to say more but the teacher cut off everyone. Phoebe shot a furious look at Zeno but was unable to respond.
"Okay now that you know each other a little more I will divide your group into two pairs. Though remember you are apart of a group. Your pairs will be working a job that I will assign you. So split up.

Also keep this in mind. Each year homerooms compete with each other. At the end of the year the class with most points will win a prize. I hope this year it will be us.

With that said, Azure looked back over at Miss Cross, making him wonder what she meant by these jobs, though Niah was the first one to actually ask. "What kinf of jobs, Miss Cross?" she asked curiously, and Azure wondered since their group would now be split apart into two pairs, he hoped to be paired with Asa, seeing as she was smart, and was interesting, not to mention when he got a good look at her, was a bit of a cutie.

"How do we earn these points, beautiful?" Zeno asked, having no shame in calling her beautiful as he was just telling the truth.

Miss cross looked at her students "well things like library assistants, working in town, cleaning class rooms and so on. And we earn these points in many ways. One way is each week we have competitions between homerooms where we do physical activities or take tests. Its actually really fun" she smiled fondly "now split up. You guys get to choose your partners."

Smiling, Azure did not waste any time and took a deep breath, looking towards Asami. "Hey Asami...did you want to be my partner?" he asked her, slightly nervous, but he knew she was the only one he knew best out of the new faces within the class aside from Zeno and Phoebe.

Zeno on the other hand looked around noticing that all the other students were beginning to pair off one by one making him raise his eyebrow a little bit.

"S-sure!" She was caught off gaurd by being picked first. "We will make a great team" she beamed at him. "Though I am rather clumsy..." she blushed profusely.

"Well I guess that leaves us two." Phoebe muttered grudgingly. "This will be so interesting...why me..." she grabbed her veil and put it back on. "What fun this will be."

"Thats quite alright. Maybe I'll be able to catch you a few times." he told her, blushing a little as well. He knew this year would certainly be very interesting, and he was really looking forward to it.


"Guess we really don't have a choice, do we?" he asked, sighing a little bit before shaking his head. "Just make sure you don't hold me back, will ya?" Zeno asked before cursing in Italian for a moment.

His statement caused the girls face to burn brightly. "O..okay" she hid her face with her hair unable to look at him. "Well.. this year's going to be different..."

"Hold you back?? Ha. I will do no such thing." She puffed her chest out defiantly looking too much like a bird. "My people are great at many things. And rarely hold anyone back."

"I should thinks so." Azure nodded in agreement, before noticing that everyone was finally paired off, and noticed that homeroom was almost over and that their next class would begin. "Do you have the same classes I do?" he asked Asa, pulling out his schedule to show her.

"Good." Zeno said, smirking a bit. "Then we should have no issue then, other than your attitude of course." he said, chuckling to himself.

She looked over his list. "Yep. But I'm pretty sure this class will all have the same classes." She looked at the bell. "So after this we have lunch right?".she squinted at the board where the schedule for today was written because it was different. "Today's going to be rather short"

"My attitude?" She scoffed. "You're the one with the attitude. You just don't like people arguing with you."

"Yea, today is going to be pretty short, so I guess that gives us plenty of time to look about the campus a little bit to learn where everything is." Azure said, smiling towards her before the bell rang, and he stood up. "Want to join me for lunch?" he asked politely, having wanted to learn a little bit more about his partner.

"What do you mean? You act as if I'm a spoiled child." Zeno said, chuckling a bit as he stood up, accidentally bumping into Takitae who was trying to get past. "Hey, watch it." Zeno told Taki, who then turned around and shot him a glare, but Zeno's animalistic instincts knew this one wasn't exactly a person to screw with by any means.

"Oh.. really?? You want me to join you for lunch??" She too got up as the bell rang and started moving to the door "this is the first time someone has asked me..." she blushed lightly. "Sure... I mean if you still want to of course.." she turned to grab her bag but tripped and fell into Zeno

"You are a spoiled child." She grumbled as she made her way out of the class joining the harpie.

"Are you alright?" Zeno asked Asami, having caught her as she fell into him, and smiled at her, and helped her back onto her feet, and Azure went back over to her. "I guess I need to be on alert a lot..." he told her, and chuckled a little bit. "But yes, I still do want to have lunch with you." he told her, wondering what was for today, and if they had choices.

"Sorry about that" she blushed a little "I am just really clumsy.. don't have your gun gigs shoot me" she said rather fast.
She blushed even more at azures comment. "Sorry.. like I said.. I fall a lot... okay.. " finally they made their way out of the class room and started towards lunch. "I heard the cafe has many different food stands to choose from.."

"Then I certainly will be more on alert." he told Asami, smiling towards her as they grew closer towards the cafeteria, smelling all of the foods that were being offered to their students. "I wonder what they have." he said, a little excited, glad he wouldn't have to bring his own lunches from home anymore. "So, what kind of foods do you like?" he asked her, wanting to get a conversation going.

She chuckled nervously.. "well I like most all fruits and vegetables. But I do like food that's bad for you sometimes. Mainly pizza." She smiled up at him. What about you?"
She opened the doors to.the care which was packed full of people. There were many different food stations to pick from. One offered burritos and tacks while another hamburgers and so many more.

"I am a pizza man myself." Azure told her, laughing a little bit before entering the cafeteria with her, taking notice of all the food stations and all the people who were inside. "Its pretty easy to get lost in this sea of people." he told Asami, looking around some more. "Did you want me to come with you while you got your food first?" he asked her.

"That would probably waste up a lot of our lunch break. How about I do a location spell? Ill be able to easily find you.. if that's okay?" She looked at him nervously

"Yea, thats fine." he told Asami. "Then find me after you finish getting what you want." he told her before heading off, trying to find a station that served pizza and some soda. That was really all he desired for the time being as he knew they would have training to do today probably, and he didn't want to do any of that on a full stomach.

She muttered a few words before her left then she turned to the salad line. She loaded her plate with a nice salad and a few fruits then went to the drink station and got a coke. She sensed azure was not that far away so she made her way towards hi hoping she would not fall.

Azure finally found the pizza stand, grabbing him two slices of pepperoni and some napkins before going to the drink station and got himself a sprite before taking a seat at an empty table, not really wanting to eat outside just yet like half of the students were already. Once he was in his seat, he waited patiently for Asa.

She found him and sat down "Yay I didn't fall" she cheered smiling but blushed none the less. She grabbed her fork and started on her salad. After swallowing her first bite she started talking again "see the location spell worked perfectly. Its rather simple and handy. I tend to use it on important objects like my cell phone and money. Because I loose things a lot" she blushed even more

"I'm proud of you." Azure said, laughing a little bit before taking a bite out of his pizza, smiling over at her a little before drinking some of his sprite to wash it down. "Or, you could use it to stalk." he teased, though, he knew she wouldn't misuse a spell like that. "So, do you like the school so far?"

She blushed. "Stalk? Who would do that..?" She shook her head. "Well its only the first day but Its okay. I cant wait to actually start classes and such." What about you?" She didn't understand why it was so easy to talk to azure. Usually she had troubles around people..

"Well, there are some people like that." he told Asa, though, still knew she wouldn't be doing anything like that when she found someone she possibly liked within the school. "Well, so far, its been pretty fun so far, and since there isn't too much academics, I think I should be able to do well this year." he told her, chuckling a little.

"Why would people want to do that at all.." she only saw these for recreational purposes or for school. Not to use to stalk someone.. that would be a waste of a spell. "I think we will do fine here" she smiled at him. "Though some people worry me.. like that Zeno guy.. and saleen..." she shuddered when she spoke her name

"Some people are a little crazy." he told Asami, nodding a little bit before he listened to her a bit. Zeno was indeed someone to look out for, but something about the white haired one really creeped him out a bit. "Saleen? Oh the one who sit next to me?" he asked her. "You two came from the same school right? Do you know her well?"

"Not really.. she didn't exactly like me" she smiled weakly "not many people did. They played lots of pranks on me and such because I am clumsy... I don't know... I was never much of a people persons either. I'm just socially awkward."and with that She started eating her salad again.

"They bullied you?" he asked, not liking to hear that at all in the slightest. He really hated bullies and bullying. "Well, I won't let that happen to you here." he assured Asami, smiling proudly towards her. "Though, you are doing better here though, right? I mean, I like you, and Phoebe, even Zeno." he told her. "People just have to get to see just how nice you are."

"It was nothing I couldn't handle. I never let it get to me." She looked at him. "Thanks.. I really never made friends before... just a few people who pitied me. Or wanted to cheat off my answers.." she finished her food quickly. "Well we still have a while before lunch ends.. after you finish did you want to take a look around the school?"

"Well, we all generally like you. You seem like a great girl." he told her, blushing a little bit before taking another bite of his pizza and nodded to her. "Sure, that sounds like fun. I have yet to see the campus aside from the freshman boy's dorm." he told Asa before continuing on his pizza.

"I don't really think so.. but anyways. Where should we go.. oh the possibilities... I wonder if anyone else would want to join us... like Zeno or Phoebe.. what do you think? " she looked rather excited at this.

"Yea, I think they would both be up for it." he told her, smiling a little bit before beginning to eat a little quickly, wanting to take the tour of their new home for the next four years. "Depending on if they are getting along of course."

"I doubt that.. they are both hot heads.. don't you think?" She shook her head "having both of them is like torture" she chuckled. "If only they could get along...but I wonder what the rest of our classmates are like.. some seemed genuinely interesting.."

"But they are interesting." he said, laughing a little bit and smiled. "Yes, some did some interesting...This isn't my style or anything, but after I finish eating, did you want to go around to our classmates and see if they wanted to view the campus with us?"

"Ummmm... if you do the talking sure... I'm too shy to." She blushed "I will just make a fool of myself... but who were you thinking of asking?"

"Sure, I can do that." he told her before beginning to finish off his lunch. "Well, I was thinking about Niah and the Fayette. They seemed pretty nice." he said, looking to her to see her opinion on it.

"Yeah they seemed nice enough. Sounds like fun. Who else? Besides Zeno and Phoebe of course.." she started to think. "There was a kid with white hair that seemed interesting. What about him? I would like to get to know him... I wonder if hes nice though..." she smiled. "Cant be as bad as Zeno and Phoebe fighting... nothing can beat that.." she chuckled. "So. Anyone else?"

"That guy with the white hair...I don't know." he told her. "I mean, we can, but I kind of get a bad vibe from him, you know?" he said, sighing a bit before trying to think. "And Sia, she seems pretty fun." he told her, noticing the cafeteria was starting to get a little louder with more people coming in.

"You did? He seemed normal enough.." she sat for a second thinking "I mean.. we don't have to if you're not comfortable... but yeah Sia seemed really... energetic." She chuckled. "I wonder if she ever stops moving.. "ugh... its getting really loud already... "
