Mizuki looked towards Alton. Archery was one of the easiest things to do...if you had aim. Though by the looks of the male before him this guy looked like he was good at anything. Mizukis ears twitched at that thought before he shook his head a little. "Oh...after your done there...you need a bath your stench is filling my nose" Mizuki was very picky when it came to things like that. If you were not clean he didnt care for you.

So Mizuki and Alton sat there in silence until the male was finished eating. Standing Mizuki cleared and placed everything away before leaving to another part of the hallow. Comming back a moment later he had a sack in his hand with his staff in the other "Well come one then" He said walking over to the mouth of the hallow.

Making sure that Alton fallowed Mizuki led him out into the darkening world. Walking briskly he led the way to a small pool where a water fall lay. Placing his staff against the tree Mizuki started to unpack the sack. Inside was two new loin clothes, some arm and shin gaurds as well as a little container that held some scented oil.

With out a word Mizuki stripped down with no concern of his nakidness and walked right into the pool of water. Under the soft rippels on the water bed laid red clams that gave off heat and glowed softly in the darkness. The water reached right up to his waist as he began to head for the water fall.

He gave the other a bit of a look like oh really. "Well I'm sure you'd smell like flowers too if you were nearly eaten by a plant.. " Though after that was said he never said another word leaving it at that. In truth he had never thought about it. He had been through worse situations when it came down to it. Though it seemed all of that life was in his past now. Though he still had a gut feeling that past would sooner or later come to haunt him again, even here.

After Mizuki seemed to come back and tell him to follow he did so. Not like he had anything better to do and if it was for a bath he wasn't going to complain about it that was certain. Though he could have seen where this was going a mile away. Bathing outside was hardly anything new, not with how much he had traveled in his life already.

Once the other seemed to lead him to a pool and stopped there he stood there a moment till the other seemed to unpack and strip right in the open. Normally someone would ask what he was doing, though in truth that was almost expected as well. Not that this bothered Alton in the least, public showers were common in his past as well. Aside from that this guy had already pretty much seen him without clothes on by just wearing a damned cloth!

For the moment he didn't give it a second thought as he took the one thing he had left to call clothing off and stepped into the water. Not to say bathing in water like this was new, but everything else was. He was still getting his mind around everything going on. Let alone whoever sent him here seemed to drop him off and just leave it a that. No wonder no one lived, though in truth he had a feeling they didn't care if they lived or not so long as they got whatever reading they needed from them.

Mizuki ran his head under the warm fall of water before he took out his long braid. Pulled the hair over his shouldner he closed his eyes and began to run his fingers through the long hair washing the grime and dirt from his hair.

Mizuki was so used to being alone that he thought of no one else as he went about doing everything that he normaly did at that time. Reaching for the little container that was on a rock he opened it and began placing it into his hair. Soft fingers rubbed in the oild before they rinsed it out.

That is when Mizukis stood and looked ahead just catching the turn of Altons head. Had the other male been watching him? Though Mizuki expelled that thought as he left the fal and waded his way through the water to the ledge. Sitting down he began wringing the water out from his hair.

To be honest Alton has found himself watching the other, though it was only for a quick second. He was probably just thinking and got caught up in his thoughts. Yeah that was all.. It wasn't like the other that had been helping him for the past few days was any different from a human, just the ears of course and tail.. but aside from that.

Maybe that was why he had caught himself watching the other the tail, he had a few odd questions in his mind. Ones he would never dare ask that was certain. Though as the other moved he seemed to get knocked out of his dazed state as he went about washing himself off. Personally he was glad to get the plant goo from his skin finally.

Even after he was done he stayed in the water a bit longer. Why did he keep thinking of his past. It was going to do him no good here. No he needed to get over it and accept he was stuck here no matter what. The bastards that had forced him to be here and did this to him. He'd never get the chance to repay that.

Mizuki when he was done got dressed and placed everything that Alton did not need back into the bag. After he was done Mizuki sat there with his back against a tree staff across his lap waiting for Alton to be finished. When the male finished washing his body Mizuki glanced over just as he waded out of the water and got dressed.

Looking away Mizuki stood and stretched lean muscles his tail swishing back and forth from his wrather unsettled mind. When he was sure that the other male was ready he began to head back to the hallow. It was a wrather short trip to and from.

Upon getting back Mizuki broke off some purple vines that were littered with orange flowers. Bringing them inside he hung some up around the large space before placing his staff and sack aside. From there he sat down and looked to Alton "Get your rest, tomorrow she comes early" He said lightly with a nod of his head before he moved and laid down once again with his back towards Alton.

Once he did get back to the world around him and away from his thoughts he walked from the water and went about getting what they called clothes back on. He seemed a little annoyed by whatever he was stuck on. Though the other never mentioned a word about it. He was grateful for that.

Once they were back to the hallow he watched Mizuki for a moment before the other spoke. "So long as by early you mean daybreak." He didn't expect a answer, but he did do as he was told and went to where he seemed to be allowed to sleep.

Why was he bothered by all of this, not being able to go home he should be damned happy. He could start over here if he so wished. Well and so long as nothing ate him in the process of it all. Either way he had to do something with his time here, this Mizuki he was stuck depending on hardly held a conversation. Maybe all the natives were like that..

Mizuki slept fairly good that night. Nothing was on his mind but certain images that kept resenting themselves in his minds eye. Waking in the morning Mizuki sat there thinking about theweird dream he just had. Rubbing his eyes he rubbed the last of it away before he moved and stood.

Going about the hallow on quite feet he got everything ready for that day. As he finished stringing the last bow infront of him he looked over to where Alton lay sleeping on the hammok. Deciding to be nice today he walked over and gave the mans shoulder a light shake.

When Alton arose and asked what he was doing Mizuki simply replied with "Get up its past dawn the suns been up for an hour" So needless to say it was about 7 am. Mizuki then turned from him and grabbed his bow placing it on his back. Taking the pack he tied it to his waist before he greabbed his staff and the extra bow turning. "This bow will be yours...one day you can make the bow from the tree that shelters you" He said slightly.

He woke up a bit on the groggy side till the other spoke and said it was a hour past. "You could have gotten me up sooner then.. ugh." Moving he got up before cracking his neck a little, he'd never get use to sleeping in this thing. "Slacking off... tsk" he seemed to be commenting towards himself on that statement, he use to have a system. He could wake up everyday on the dot at 5 am, have everything done and taken care of and be ready for the day.

He wasn't sure he was too into the idea of making his own, woodcraft was something he was not handy in. Unless making spears when he needed to hunt counted. After he was handed the bow he seemed to look at it before following Mizuki. At the least he seemed to wake up fast enough, some people couldn't roll out of bed and be ready for the day.

His only thought was this had to go well, out of everything that had happened here this had to be the one thing that ended well. He had shot bows before of different types so this should be just as easy. Though the arrows made a difference in how the bow shot as well as the type of string.. maybe he was over thinking this now.

Upon getting outside Mizuki indicated a spot for Alton to stand. Before them some distance away was a tree that had holes littered all over it. "Thats your target" He said to him "Now take and arrow and string your bow" Mizuki watched as Alton did as he was told. Pulling the strin back Mizuki looked at Altons forum and everything.

Moving forward Mizuki tipped mhis elbow up and pushed on his stomach "Shoot from the base not from the hands and your will never miss" Mizuki then took a step back and watched Alton fire the arrow. It was off to the side a little but it still hit the tree sinking deep into the bark "Good....again"

He had to admit he was a little annoyed he forgot suck a thing with the positioning. Using guns for such a long time he had forgotten bows were different. He wasn't happy with the first few strikes he had made. In fact his normally flawless aim seemed to evade him today. Maybe he was just thinking too much and allowing himself to be distracted.

Standing there a moment he waited till he had breathed a few times before opening his eyes again and cocking another arrow back and releasing it. This one was dead in the center where Mizuki had wanted him to shoot this whole time. Though the other seemed to this this was a fluke as he said again. Though he seemed quite capable of repeating this process without the pause this time as the arrow landed as close as it could be to the other one in the center mark.

Mizuki watched every arrow tht was shot out from Altons bow. Each one got closer and closer to the mark but none hit them. This was when he noticed that Alton lowered his bow for a second before he raised it and drew back an arrow. Mizuki watched and couldnt help but to smile. The form was perfect and only to proove him right when the arrow was let go it went and hit its mark right in the middle of the tree.

"Again..." Mizuki said wanting to see if the first arrow was a fluke but as three more were shot and they all landed within the same area he nodded his head "Great...now collect your arrows and do it again" He said with a nod of his head. It was going to be a long day but it was needed. There was alot of things in the forest that wouldnt think twice before eating you.

He saw that last line coming, he felt like he was back in drill camp again. Just with bows and arrows instead of guns. Doing as he was told he returned to the spot before repeating the same process over. Though it seemed easier this time around to keep them on the mark or as close as he could to it.

Though to be honest his mind was rather blank at the present time, he needed to keep it that way or else he would miss. Everything kept reminding him that he was stuck here no matter what happened. He needed to learn how to live here.. otherwise he could see his life being a short one.

There were too many questions to be answered for him to just give up and accept all of this just yet. He was going to find a damned way to get to whoever did this in the first place and find out what they wanted or why force people to come here just to be slaughtered. Though apparently his empty thoughts died a little when he ended up thinking on the fact he was beyond pissed. The next arrow that left the bow sunk in deeper then the last arrows.

Mizuki watched and took into account everything that the other male did. Everything was okay but then the arrows began to change with the intesity of each one. This was only prooven more as the last one was shot and sunk half way into the tree. Looking over Mizuki sighed before walking to the tree with his eyes closed.

"One must first divulge in what causes them to stray before a winding path becomes straight' He said yanking out the arrows from the tree but he left the last one shot there. Turning towards Alton he opened his eyes his tail thrashing about behind him and his ears sunk low and back hidding into his hair alittle.

"There is something that you dwell on that can not be changed" Mizuki spoke softly before walking forward and handing all the arrows back towards Alton before continuing his speech 'For it to be forgotten you need to remember" He said before he walked to where he stood before. It was going to be along day "Again" Though Mizuki ws stern he thought on his own words.

He sighed a little knowing that Mizuki was right in what he said. He had heard similar words before. "Next time they alter someones form they should go about removing memories as well." He said not really as a complaint but more as a statement. That was his thoughts other, the other might not understand seeing as this was his normal form. Though he found it almost a cruel punishment for something he didn't do to be tossed onto or into a world he had no idea about and then to just be left there.

Taking a moment he regained himself before returning to the methods from before. Why did it bother him so much that he wouldn't get to be near his past here. He should be happy that he could forget things here, if he was stuck here why dwell on what happened back then. Unless he feared a repeat.. Maybe that was why it was bothering him.

Mizuki listed to Alton as he spoke and he rested a moment on the males words about memories. Yes it was true that memories could tear a persons soul apart slowly Mizuki was a living example of that. Though at that thought Mizuki shook his head in thinking. "No.." Mizuki said causing Alton to stop a moment "Memories is your past and your past defines who you are. Everything was ment to be and shall be as long as it can be." Mizuki said

Mizuki knew that he was talking in riddles and it maybe hard to understand but it was the only way he knew how to confide with another persons soul. "Everything happens for a reason, its that reason that makes you who you are. To change that would be to change you" With that Mizuki turned a little and walked away heading back into the hallow leaving Alton to his thoughts.

he was a little annoyed with the riddles and all, but he figured he'd get use to them. Most of them were common sense after all. He sighed a little before agreeing with the words of the other. That didn't mean at times he didn't want to forget. His hands were stained with blood that would never come off and he knew that.

Though after he spoke again the other seemed to walk off back towards where they had been staying the past few days. Probably to leave him to his thoughts. In truth he was glad of that, he had been forced almost to spend every moment with the other so it was nice to have a few moments to himself.

He didn't go straight back to the hallow, no instead he went to where the water area was from before. He was just going to sit there a while, it was close to the hallow and it would give him a few moments to think. Also the sound of the water was calming at the least. Why was everything here forcing him to remember his past.. nothing around this area even had to do with his past.

Mizuki stayed within the hallow for a while until he gathered his things. It was time to gather something for the meal that night. Leaving the base he looked about and noticed that Alton was no where in sight though judging from the smell around the area he wasnt that far away. Shrugging his shoulders Mizuki turned and ran into the bush.

The hunt was easy killing what seemed to look along the lines of a rabbit. Though this creature was larger sharp teeth and black fur. Two stripes of white traveled down its back to a tail that fluffed out. Heading back to the hallow Mizuki paused for a moment. Stepping close Mizuki peered out through a thicket of vines to look down and see Alton.

The male was sitting at the falls bank with his feet in the water. Mizuki could tell from the males body posture that he was thinking of something that was wrather upsetting. He frowned a little at the sight but then the frown was gone as soon as it came. Why should he care?

Mizuki was about to turn around when he his ears twitched picking up a twig snapping. Instantly he dropped his catch and jumped or rather dove head first down from the high tree branch. Taking out his dagger mid fall he barreled into the side of a Masceller (giant cat type thing).

The creature roared as they barreled into the water of the falls. Mizuki used every inch of his body to cover the large cat. His legs and feet prevented the large beast to use its hind legs while his tail held onto a right front leg pulling it back rendering it useless.

To keep the head from biting anything it shouldnt Mizukis left hand held it under the chin straining the head of the best back to expose a soft neck. As the beast struggled Mizuki said a prayer in his head before stabbing the tender exposed neck. The struggling slowed to a stop and Mizuki grunted as he let go laying back with his breathing heavy. "Well...that was fun" He said sarcastically.

Needless to say his thoughts were disrupted from now where as he noticed the struggle. At first he was going to question what he was fighting but he second guessed that. It wouldn't do much good anyway. If he had thought the other needed help he would have done so, but it looked rather well taken care of.

When it was all said and done he shook his head a little listening to Mizuki speak. "You know .. if you wanted my attention you could have asked instead of going through all of that." He knew that wasn't the reason the other had done that but still, he felt like a smart reply was fitting to what the other had said.

To be honest he was rather impressed with the fight and how quickly it ended, but at the same time he had wanted a few more moments to himself. Then again it was getting later into the evening by now, it was probably better that he head back anyway before he got lost in the dark.

Mizuki gave a little laugh at that "Trust me if I wanted your attention I would have it" He said simply before pushing the beast off of him and standing up "You just lucky I was around when that happened' He stated not that he didnt think that Alton could handle himself it was just because of the males thoughts the one thing that gave the beast away he missed.

Mizuki shook his head before he stood. Grabbing the beast by one hind leg and a front on he grunted and he slung the best up on his shoulders. "Come one...this was small compaired to the things that lurk in the dark' He said before wading out of the water and onto the shore line. With out another word he headed for the hallow.

He wasn't sure he liked the way the other talked. Sure he could and should have been paying more attention. But still he could have handled something like that.. It was over and done with now though. He started to voice his thoughts on ever think you'd be doing me a favor to let it eat me. But no he kept said thoughts to himself. Probably for the best.

When Mizuki spoke again and started to head back towards the hallow he decided to follow him this time. He never questioned on him dragging the best with him or nothing. He would offer to help but knowing how his guy acted he figured that would be a waste of breath. Who knows it might be a insult even. Either way the way back to the hallow seemed peaceful enough, though neither of them spoke any words at all.

Mizuki when they returned headed right for the hallow. Taking the beast with him he decended the stairs with ease before heading out the back of the hallow. Mizuki slightly woundered if the male ever took a look around. The main room was only part of the large tree.

Along with it rested two other rooms and a kitchen area. Though leading out of the kitchen like area was a back yard for all intensive perpouses. Though this was covered with trees and bushes letting little to no sun light through but the plants lit everything Nicely.

Walking over he placed the beast on a wrack hanging it so it didnt touch the ground. He would go about skinning it tomorrow. Though now thinking about it he really had no choice seeing as how his catch from before had been spoiled. Though he may have enough to feed them the night. Walking back inside he began to go about the kitchen.

He had thought about looking around the hallow, though for the time being he rather just stay where he was told to. In truth he did't plan to stick around long enough to call this place 'home'. Not he would rather go find a way to make it for himself. Aside from that this guy.. he couldn't put his finger on.

He wanted to think the guy was helping him, though it seemed that whatever or whoever had given him the signs to help him seemed to be the only reason for this act of kindness. Even through all of this he didn't trust the male before him.. he had the upper hand here and he knew that. That fact alone bothered him more then he let on.

yet there was something else.. like something told him this was all suppose to happen. Everything in his life until now had been so straight and and arrow and planned out. Now he was stuck out here with no idea where here was and let alone no idea on the wildlife.

Mizuki went about preparing something for them to eat. All the while his mind was on other things. like why did the great mother want this Alton alive and just what role did he play. Mizuki was confused on these things. Even though he showed talent with a bow and he was strong there are other things that can make a man weak.

Mizuki stopped for a moment in his actions thinking on that. Yes...there was other things that could make a man weak. A mans past could ruin him and Mizuki knew that all to well. Slightly he shook his head and growled to himself as his tail thrashed back and forth.

It took him awhile but soon a nice hot soup was placed into bowls as bread was grabbed. Walking back into the main room he looked to Alton who was still just sitting there. Placing the bowls down infront of them Mizuki once again lit a fire in the middle of them for warmth. Chanting something small he blue out of his right hand that was up to his mouth.

From there a small bubble grew out from his hand growing large to about the size of a coconut before it floated up and over the fire collecting the smoke as it rose. Reaching for his bowl Mizuki picked it up before looking at Alton who seemed to be watching the bubble above the fire "Its not the best but it works..."

Oh course he was watching the bubble, hell he thought this place was just a odd version of where he was from.. but that. That seemed more like magic then anything else he had seen. Well aside from the plant that nearly ate him. "Not the best? It's pretty impressive to me." It was doing it's job that was certain. Though he was still trying to wrap his mind about how exactly a bubble just formed form what seemed to be nothing..

Maybe that was part of the altering that .. whoever did to him.. were they trying to get the resources here and the magic or whatever powers these where? He had to get that thought out of his head. Maybe they would leave him the hell alone if he stopped thinking about it. Though he doubted that ...

At the same time maybe soon he could get some answers if the group that put him here did contact him. Either way he shoved it out of his mind as he spoke again, not expecting answers really. "Can everyone do that?" He stopped on that for a moment before speaking again. "I mean.. I assume your not the only one living here." Aside from the animal life of course.

Mizuki looked to him pausing in his eating as the male asked his question "No...not everyone can" Mizuki spoke softly "Only the ones choosen from the great mother are capable" He said tilting his head a little his tail thrashing some off to his side "In the time since the first days there has been one person in each clan capable of such things" He spoke.

Though this is when Mizuki bowed his head a little "The Navari people of the trees have only had one weilder for the longest time" He said though he stopped his thoughts. The one was he but Mizuki felt as though the magic was not suppose to be his "When the weilder of a clan dies the next is born the same day" He spoke "To give freedom to the people" He said lightly though turned back to his meal.

Mizuki didnt want to mention that he was the only weilder within the Navari clan but before he knew it the words were out his mouth and it was to late to take them back.

He seemed to listen, oddly enough this was something he wasn't expecting. "So when you said before you were the prince you weren't kidding were you..." He thought that he might have been toying with him or the effects of the plant were still kicked in or something. But now he didn't think that was the case. Sure he had other questions but he didn't feel it was fair to ask them. Like why he wasn't living with the clan for starters. Though he had a feeling he could guess something happened just by the body language the other was giving when he spoke.

"i see.. heh." He cursed his curiosity as it was getting the better of his mind. Though a sudden screech noise in his ear caused him to hold it in pain as he cringed a bit. "ow..... " He complained before he heard a similar voice from before. Though now that he was with it a little more the voice.. seemed familiar in more then a few ways. But how.. he couldn't put his finger on it at the moment.

He sighed a little before standing and walking just outside of the hallow. He still felt it was a bit rude to more or less talk to yourself when you were being treated as a guest. "Leave me for two days with no information at all? Tsk no wonder anyone else you sent here died." He snapped at the sound of the voice on the other end asking how he was and that they were shocked he was alive.

This exchange went back and forth a little bit before Alton finally got annoyed. "If your not going to be useful then leave me the hell alone! You drop me off here expect me to figure out everything for myself and then expect me to listen with reasoning as to why you did it?" He seemed beyond livid with them, he wasn't sure he had to really talk aloud or if it as controlled by his thoughts but at the moment it felt better to just say it.

"If your damned lucky I don't get off of this world and I don't find you." He warned the voice speaking. before he seemed to ignore it or finally figured out how to turn it off on his end. Of course he was annoyed he was just getting his life together and gathered when someone had to do this to him?

Mizuki was about to speak again when the male before him just got up and headed out of the hallow with out another thought. Mizuki was almost tempted to find the other male and fallow him but wrather he stayed behind and finished eating. Taking what dishes he had h=out Mizuki soon returned.

Sitting down again with a chunk of wood and a knife he began to widdle something from the wood as he hummed to himself. In truth he was not sure what he was making but his fingers seemed to know as they went about carving.

He sighed walking back into the hallow before shaking his head. Sure they told him why they put him on this planet.. but that didn't mean he had to like it. He wanted to be left alone but now he couldn't get over the voice that spoke to him. Why did he recall it from somewhere. Whatever that didn't matter either.

He didn't question what the other was doing, figuring he probably would rather have the silence anyway. Also he had asked a fair number of questions as it was. He could tell him what the voice told him.. but it would do no good. Even with magic it would be more then a challenge to stop humans from destroying this world.

Also he hardly cared, he wanted to go back home even though he had no real life he just wanted to be away from here. This male bothered him.. he couldn't figure out why he did so either. That probably annoyed him even more then having so many questions unanswered.

Mizuki widdeled down the small chunk of wood until a little figure was in his hands. Staring down at it Mizuki blinked a few times. Mizuki and his people were great believers of 'if its ment to be it shall' but with that comes the signs. Everything around you gave signs until the blinded heart could see. And right before Mizuki was a sign though he didnt think anything of it.

Placing the figure on the ground infront of Alton he said nothing as he collected the little wood chips and placed them in the fire watching as they crackled. That is when he looked over and noticed Alton looking down at the wooden figure.

In truth Mizuki did not blame him for doing so for there in little wooden form sat Alton. He was in a defensive stand with two short blades in his hands. The figure was complete down to the facial expression of pain and regret to the scares that littered the males body. Mizuki said nothing as he stood and went to bed.

Alton never said a word but he did notice the detail in the figure. What was that suppose to mean? Sure he was into signs and such but not as much as the people here were probably. Was this suppose to mean something? It had every detail he could think of, even the minor scars that were nearly faded from the years.

After the other seemed to say nothing and go to bed he shuddered a little getting a odd vibe before he moved to do the same. Sleeping was going to be rough at best. Why did someone remembering that much detail about him bother him so? He wasn't even in the room for part of the carving. He shook his head before closing his eyes and praying he could sleep..

Even though Mizuki was troubled sleep came easy to him, but just because it did come easy that didnt mean that they would be peacefull or grand. This was prooven right as his dreams seemed to add more to the message. Screams, fire and blood filled his dreams and the center of which was Alton and himself.

Waking up with a start Mizuki sat there with sweat covering his forehead and a hand gripped holding his chest. "What the..." He spoke softly to himself before his free hand reached up and brushed back loose grey white bangs from his eyes and face.

What was he suppose to think? First it was the figure now the dream? Something was ment for the ment across from him and Mizuki was the key to his story but how he did not know. Moving he got out of bed and on wobbely legs headed for the back door he needed fresh air.

Oddly his dreams were rather uneventful. He didn't complain he rather liked getting a full nights sleep for a change. Though when the other seemed to move suddenly he glanced over towards Mizuki. He never said a word as the other seemed to get up and walk out. He looked worse for wear going off of the expression he saw.

Though looking outside it was probably due time to get up anyway. He sighed lightly before moving to sit where he was. The voice was still eating at his thoughts though he shoved them to the side. He needed to focus and it had nothing to do with whatever the voices wanted.. no he needed to live if he wanted to change any of this.

Mizuki headed out back and breathed in the soft morning air. Looking about Mizuki spotted the beast from the night before. Thinking that this was the best way for him to forget his dreams he walked over and took out his knife. From there own Mizuki went about skining and gutting the beast that hung before him.

By the time Mizuki got to the point where he could start stripping the meat off the bones his hands were covered in blood and with out thinking he reached up and whiped his forehead off taking the sweat but leaving the blood behind. Silently to himself he woundered when Alton was going to get enough guts to see where he had been all this time.

At first he thought the other was going to come back but he seconded guessed this when at least a hour or so passed and Mizuki was still no where. He finally got up to go see where the other had been this whole time. It wasn't like he couldn't just follow where he saw the other go anyway. Aside from that the worse thing that happens is that he gets attacked by a plant again.

He didn't say anything after he found Mizuki, he had been standing there a few moments when the other seemed about done. "I think there are easier ways to go about taking a blood bath." He shrugged a little, it was rather funny though he had done a little skinning work in his days.. so he knew there wasn't a real way around it unless you wanted to wait a day or so to bleed the creature first.

Mizuki was so far into his thoughts that the words from the other startelled him and he turned around holding his knife just incase something was going to attack. With his tail thrashing he sighed a little before turning back to the beast and starting to carve the meat into long strips for smoking "Yes though when your mind is troubled its better to take anger out on something that will not feel it"

Mizuki after another good hour finished cutting the meat. All that was left was to string the meat and hang them in the smoke house jsut past the garden though by this time he was tired and groggy. Walking over he sat down a little ways away from a perch that Alton seemed to find. Saying nothing he fell back into the soft grass around him laying down in the heat of the day.

He was going to ask if he wanted to talk about said troubles. But ... he second thought on that. He seemed more then content with taking out his thoughts on the dead animal before him. Personally Alton would rather keep it that way as well.

When Mizuki seemed to be finished and moved to a spot to lay back into he could tell the other was tired. "You could ask for help some times.. I might not know about the creatures or plants here but most things seem to be the same." He noticed he got no response from the other before he sighed a little. "I can't read minds." Also he hated feeling like he was useless, he could at least help somewhere with anything! To do nothing all this time was getting to him a little.

Mizuki thought on Altons words a little before he gave a little sigh and spoke with out moving or opening his eyes "Im sorry my friend" Mizuki spoke softly "I have lived so long alone I will forget about help even when its so close by" He said and it was true. It would be the 40th year from tomorrow that he has been away from his clan. In that time it would make anyone forget such things.

Glancing over slightly as his tail flicked to the right side of him Mizuki could tell the other wanted to ask something and he could guess what so he answered the question slightly "Tomorrow will be 40 seasons" The words were soft and almost nroken sounding.

Alton shrugged a little. "Just a reminder then.. not like my arms or legs are broke. At most just show me how you want things done.." Least maybe he could be useful. Though if Alton knew the person he was talking to who seemed to be about his age or at least looked like it was over 40 he might freak out slightly. Though in truth he would probably expect something odd like that.. everything else was odd.

$0 season.. what did that mean.. "Seasons.. like the four seasons or .." When he noticed the other seemed to say no to the four seasons idea Alton seemed to pause a moment in his thoughts. "you mean .. 40 years... " He seemed to blink a little at the thought of it. "How old are you? Er.. Forget I asked that but ... " He shook his head a little. "Ok so things here age different then back home.. " He noticed the other seemed a little lost in what he was saying. "I didn't mean to sound surprised by what you said.. but humans er.. we don't age as gracefully we'll just leave it at that."

He shrugged a little gathering his thoughts a little before laughing at them just slightly. "Though I suppose according to your people I'm young still at only 25." He felt almost like a kid talking to this guy now, no wonder he was so use to living on his own if he had done so for 40 years, he was older then that to top it off.

Mizuki was a little confused as Alton spoke of years. In all reality Mizuki was still young compared to his father. Though the humans he had seen before looked as though they were in the thousands of years. Mizuki hummed a little "I am...how you say 240 years old I guess" He said slightly "So your concidered a baby in my view...which is weird because I would say your to be 220 maybe" Mizuki said thinking more to himself now then anyhthing.

Though after a moment Mizuki sat forward and rested arms on bent knees "Though age is just a number" He stated lightly on a side note "Some of these trees are older then even the clans yet they still shelter us and guide us as if we are equals he said turning his gaze up to the canopy above.

He never said a word on the 240 age, he saw that coming or something along the lines. Though at least apparently he looked around the right age for the people here? Aside from being a test subject for the humans anyway. It was odd to think about it though, most humans wouldn't live to be 100 let alone.. 200 some. "Heh.. sadly I think I'll be long dead before I really get to be 220, most are lucky to live till their 90's let alone past that." Not that he figured the other card for that much detail but still.

Mizuki seemed to speak again causing Alton to look up a little as he listened. "thats true.. " He wished humans would see things like that, sure some did but.. most .. He shook his head a little thinking about it he already knew what the humans wanted here. All he could do was provide as little information as possible. The less they had to go on the less they could do or try to do.
