If you're talking about Renata, I think he's looking for Brave Victory, not Samurai. And for the Brave Victory, if you count every related item as one post (all the swords = one, so you can only equip one sword; and all the boots/other, whether single or both, as one) he'd need a total of eight. If you're trying to equip all three sword poses, but don't care for different colored boots/gloves/hair/etc, you'd need 10.
