The Price Guides can say 5k, but it really depends on the current supply and demand. This is why I don't really follow price guides. It will really all depend on how much a buyer is willing to spend and how much a seller is willing to sell it for. Though personally, I think 40k for an Anka set and 25k for a Pandora Box Set is ridiculously inflating the price. This is especially because they are still technically obtainable (as the Anka items will be sold for runes soon enough and it is still possible to donate for the Pandora's Box items). I just wish people were more aware of this as this type of artificial inflation is what Fen-Fen and Zy-Zy were trying to prevent in the first place. My honest input? Don't purchase them right now if you can hold off buying them. Instead, wait and use your capital to buy as many runes as you can instead. |
Thank you. That is a great idea. Unfortunately, I won't have 10 dollars to donate (and get the boxes) until after the cut-off date. If I only had 10 now, but I won't until the first.

Part of the problem is that event always pump a huge amount of currency into the system because everyone posts like mad and that devalues the currency so prices rise. I made the suggestion that maybe when event currency is give out with each post, we should get half as much aurum per post to make up for it but I guess that didn't strike the devs fancy.

we're already putting a ton more boxes in the system than initially because now people can donate to get extras on their mules. I'm sure that there's plenty of people who are getting 30 boxes that will be more than willing to sell them.
And Ashy, Anka's not going to be available with Aurum, it'll be available with Runes. I'm sure that's what you meant, but it might confuse other people. |

Aurum is just Latin for gold. That's why gold's elemental symbol on the periodic table is Au.

The event items are still available for a week though, so just keep posting and you'll be able to get those, as well as the Au required for a bunch of seabreezes.

did it really? @.@ I don't know why anyone's trying to buy/sell it right now since it'll be rereleased. it should be more publicly known that it will be cheaper to buy on the market then, with more sellers.
