I've been wanting someone to talk to about pony lol I have a couple friends but they tend to act like i'm a retard if I don't know absolutely everything 100 percent. I take it your stuff is on DA? So biggest questions 1. Favorite character in the show and 2. Favorite Episode.

It's a tough call, I'd say. As far as developed characters go, I love the dynamics that Fluttershy has. She has lovely extremes of character, and it's good to see a quiet girlie with personal strength that's also been shown to reach her very limits.
Princess Luna is also very tempting as well, considering that she doesn't get nearly as much attention in the show as she should. Her state of mental and emotional wellness, or lacking of, greatly intrigues me. I'd have to say, though, that Big Macintosh is the one I have the most steady love for. He has a good look, and even if he touches on a few stereotypes, he does them well, and is quite the attractive side character. I would love to see more of him. He stands out, without making himself annoyingly obvious. He's the theme on my computer, browser, signature (obviously), and several other things. Look what you did. And that doesn't even cover episodes at all yet. |
B| I'm a Fluttershy whore. Gotta love a pony who can scare the shiz outta a dragon and then tuck in all the little woodland creatures.
Favorite episode has to be the one where Fluttershy had to take cause of the little hyper crazy Ponies at her place. It was hilarious. |
Lol it's ok This thread is for the talk about Ponies so it is really all good.
As for my favorites I must say that my main favorite that has always had my heart and is the reason I even gave the show a chance is Fluttershy I love her so much she's currently my background. A close runner up I think would have to be Pinkie Pie she reminds me of myself a little bit and I just love how random she is and how crazy awesome and how she breaks all the walls. Edit: I'm super hardcore crazy about Fluttershy as well. |
... I can't pick a favorite episode. Honestly, I can't. I've tried. Can't happen. But, I suppose my top tier would be the following: The Cutie Mark Chronicles, The Best Night Ever, The Return of Harmony - Part 2, Luna Eclipsed, Sweet and Elite, Family Appreciation Day.

Lol yeah I don't know my favorite either I have a few that I really liked. I love how well done the show is and how great the fan base is compared to most fan bases.

I love how deep of a feel that you can get of a character thanks to the detail taken in the animation to show their behavior. It's an additional aspect that pleases me very much. One that I hadn't expected.
