He just smiled and shook his head at his partners exuberance. "Let me know how it taste." He looked around wondering off, something felt strange about the party. It was probably the fact that he was experiencing it rather then seeing it from a third person point of view.
"Greetings Warriors." The King stood up suddenly followed by the rest of the royal family. He gave a brief introduction and welcomed every one to the official closed Beta of the game. Grim payed it no mind as it continued to ramble on, but the growing feeling in his stomach continued. He watched the king, for some strange reason it appeared as if he were glitching. The others around him started to notice it too, but they were distracted by the things to come. A dark cloud bubbled up from the center of the room, and the same strange man from the introduction laughed evilly as he solidified. The figure bellowed the cliche villains anthem. "Foools" He spun around, rather then kidnapping the princess like he was suppose to the figure stabbed the king, drawing out a crystal from his chest. It glowed a brilliant color red. The Queen let out a horrible shriek. It reminded Grim, that even in this virtual world, some one had to control the npc's. Many in the room surged to fight the black clothed figure including the prince beside his father. He was too late to stop his fathers strange circumstance and it seemed even more powerless to stop the black clothed figure from using a binding spell and capturing him. Many of the other figures surged forth to help the prince, realizing that the story had gone wrong but the pair had disappeared roughly in the same manner that they appeared. The game had officially begun and yet the players had not been given many clues. Grim snorted and went to go find Tsu. |
Tsu is just munching on food-because he's good like that. The only thing Tsukasa is finding about this place is that he's not feeling sick about the virtual reality like he normally does...and how creepy that man was earlier. Too bad he's about to return. Tsukasa isn't (actually) one of those to go forward. One, he's a mage. Two, this person is a boss...and he knows nothing about him and so...doesn't want to take a chance of getting too close. He's played virtual reality before and this just feels different to him. So, he's not taking chances on this one.
Once the creeper disappears, he works on finding his friend...which isn't too hard since they're both doing it. So have a worried Tsukasa. "This place just feels off to me." |
As soon as he saw the other he started to snicker. He used his thumb and wiped a bit of white cream of this partner and stuck his thumb in his mouth. "I know what you mean. You know, I think this might be a corrupted file. We should probably restart or at least get off so I can email the support lines."
Tsukasa just scrunches up his face automatically as the other kind of mothers him. "I was hungry." He's defending himself. "I dunno...maybe a virus got into the game or something?" He has no clue about that, but he has played games where it's like that on purpose, but he had warning of that one. "Yeah probably...:
"Shit on crackers, if my mother board is infected I am going to be fucking screwed." He swung a fist into the nearest pillar. "Lets go check, I'm sure the Chinese food is here. You can chow down while I inspect my baby." He reached up to try and find the off button for his head set. Instead it seemed as though he was merely tapping his head. A look of confusion crossed his face.
"In those games....only the game was infected I think....it could just be an attack on the server or something..." Tsukasa already suspected something when the food had taste. He really doubts that virtual reality headsets can actually do that. He makes this whining noise when he sees Julius trying to turn off the set. "I...don't think we can really leave....the food was real..." He says softly. "This place feels too weird. Too real."
He just dropped his hand slowly. His real name was only reserved for when Tsukasa was being serious. He nodded silently agreeing on the food. But some part of his mind still wanted to fight the logic of it. "Do not tell me we've just been sucked into a plot of a bad fucking anime." he growled emitting low blue flames. "This had better not have tentacles." He looked around at the others dawning on the same realization, the same panic.
"It was a good anime for one thing....and you're not the only one hoping there's not tentacles." Tsukasa....doesn't want them either. The idea of being tentacled raped does not appeal to him. "Now it's time to breathe and calm down. It'll be alright. We'll find a way to get back." He's eyeballing the green flames. "It's not like we can do anything else other than play the game and hope that gets us back."
The boy was right, and there was no use in busting a wall down. He moved to the food table and grabbed some of the things, stuffing alot of it into the bag with the armor. He then took a plate full to eat himself. "I suppose we could either start by hitting the library or asking every fucking npc in town." There were just some things about quest games that did not change. Endless npc chatter was one.
Tsukasa just follows his friends. "Calm down...it isn't like being angry is going to help us any more than not being angry." Though the idea of talking to every npc? That does not interest him. "Maybe we'll luck out while talking to them?" And one of the first ones will say something important instead of having to talk to all 5 billion of them.
He laughed, anger subsiding a bit. "When has that ever happened? More importantly if we have to actually live in this world how are we going to pay for things?" He had a reserve of gold but it was limited. "I suppose we'd better go and get some of the good quest before they are taken." He walked over to Tsu and intertwined his arms with his. First thing was to find a world map.
"Once in a millenium." Tsukasa just smiles. "Well, we could always whore our bodies out to the night." He's meaning it to be a joke and serious at the same time. The way he worded it is funny, but they could be mercenaries if needed. It could work. He just smiles at his friend person. "Lets go and do what I do best! Wander around until I find something!" He chuckles a bit. It's the way he normally plays actually.
Grim just shook his head. His fatherly nature would not let Tsu whore himself out. Not his favorite healer. "And that means I can do what I do best, beat the bloody snot out of things." He was pulled along with his friend as they exited the castle. "Alright you go and wonder around, I am going to try and be sensible and at least check the npc's or the library."
Tsukasa/Sasaki just giggles a bit. "I'll just make sure you don't due during that." Which would be bad...especially since they're in the video game. Who knows what could happen if they die in game? He doesn't really want to know the answer. "Hey, just because I wander around...that doesn't mean I can't talk to npcs along the way. I just won't be doing it all methodically. I'll be doing it randomly. Maybe one will have an exclamation mark over his head and he's hiding in a creepy little corner I'll find." He sticks his tongue out at the other. Or maybe he'll get kidnapped by the man in a creepy little corner. Who knows?
He looked at his friend, then glanced around at the buildings. "alright, you know the signal if you get in trouble." Shaking his head, he now felt unsure about leaving his friend, but they could cover more ground searching different areas. He gave his blue skinned friend one last look before heading off. Once he was out of sight of the other, Grim retraced his steps to the castle. It seemed like a smart place to start, especially inspecting the broken npc.
"Yep yep! Scream bloody murder. Can do." And so, Tsukasa heads out, excited to be in the game. He always wondered what it would be like to be stuck in a game. He's just glad it isn't Diablo II. On his exploration, he does find some mildly interesting things, like weird glitchy parts of the game, but glitches always freaked him out...even when he wasn't in the game. So he continues on, doing the traditional break breakable things to get items. But barrel breaking can only be entertaining for so long...until a weird looking NPC catches his attention. Is it a glitch? Or is it supposed to be that way. His curiosity gets the best of him and he must follow the NPC.
(so...kidnap...world map...or creepy talk...I'm tempted for the world map or creepy talk or both XD Or nothing XD ) |
