"I know I am." Xavier chuckled. "A little bit of both actually." He smiled a bit. "But if I did want to stalk you, you would never know it." He chuckled. "Then again what kind of 'stalker' am I?" He crossed his arms in a joking manor. "I told my stalkee, that I am stalking them." He chuckled again. He bit the inside of his lip, why was he so nervous all of a sudden? This was the first human to do this to him, in a way it kind of angered him.

Keiko chuckled a bit "A very bad one...You should probably consider going back to stalker school. I hear they're accepting applications." She bit down slightly on her bottom lip as she watched him. What and interesting man he was, but of course her illness always found a way to interrupt her pleasant conversations. She had suddenly felt nauseous again, and knew she was going to vomit. Without a word of warning, she hurried into the kitchen hunching over the trash can as she began to heave and expell her breakfast the same way it had come up. Even have she had nothing left in her stomach, her body still continued to heave a few more times. She prayed that Xavier would just turn and walk away, but at the same time she desperately wanted him to help her...somehow. after she had finished dry heaving, she allowed herself to slid to the floor with a groan. She lay on her side, her cheek resting on the cool tile. Why couldn't she just be healthy?

Xavier searched his pockets, "I do have an application. I need to mail it." He chuckled a bit. He bit his lip as he watched the woman run to the kitchen, he heard her vomit. He had to help her, but he was already to far involved with this human. He sighed as he slowly walked into the house, making his way to the woman. He kneeled down next to her, "Are you alright?" He gently laid his hand on her shoulder. He slowly started to make her fever go away, he didn't want her to noticed that is why he did it slowly.

Keiko sighed deeply as she felt Xavier put his hand on her shoulder. She rolled slightly vaguely noting she was starting to feel better, "Yeah...I mustve eaten something bad this morning. I should be okay now..." she glanced up to him for a moment before sitting up. "I'm sorry that I keep being such a bother to you...It must be so annoying...both times we've spoken I ended up just being a hassle to you." She turned around so she was facing him, "I wish my body wasn't so frail...I just want to be healthy like every other average person out there.." She tensed then looked away, "I'm sorry...I don't mean to be all 'depressed sick girl' on you..."

Xavier bit his lip, "You sure?" He tilted his head a bit. "Your not a hassle to me." He smiled a little. "Your not being a 'depressed sick girl'. Its understandable." He nodded. "If you want I can talk to the hospital, I can have you moved to the top of the transplant list." He smiled sweetly. "I can be very... persuasive." He held in an evil chuckle. "But if you don't want me to get involved I understand as well." He nodded. He noticed he didn't remove his hand, but he didn't mind, and she didn't seem to either.

Keiko shrugged, "A transplant wouldn't improve my life much...I'll be on more drugs for immune suppressants...and other crap. I don't know.." She let out a slight sigh, leaning back on her hands, allowing his hand to slip off her shoulder. Almost instantly, she began to feel sick again. She closed her eyes, taking a few deep breaths. After awhile, she opened her eyes, "Either way, I still feel bad...but..thank you very much nonetheless." She smiled a bit, sitting forward again. "By the way, make sure you tell the College of Stalkers that you might need a bit of...extra training.." She chuckled slightly with a small wink.

Xavier nodded, he knew all of this but he wanted to make her feel better. He didn't understand this, why did he care so much about a damn human? "Your welcome, and I really don't mind." He nodded. "I will tell them, I think I will major in 'Hiding in a Tree 101'." He chuckled. "I probably should go, a good stalker would never be caught by the parent of the stalkee." He smiled a bit. "But I can give you my home number, if you ever want to chat or go out for a coffee." He reached into his pocket to pull out a card.

She waved her hand slightly, "Bah, the woman won't be home for another two hours yet...but, I won't hold you up if you'd like to go. You can even lurk around and practice your stalking skills while you wait for their response..I don't mind." She chuckled a bit, vaguely wondering what the hell was wrong with her. Here she was, telling an almost complete stranger that he was welcomed to stalk and creep on her...and she was serious about it as well! She just..couldn't help it. She found herself really enjoying his company. She watched his hand for a moment, "Or..you don't have to go..yet. We could go out for that coffee right now. I could really go for an iced cappuccino..."

Xavier chuckled a bit, "It will be awhile before I hear back from them." He smiled a bit. He shrugged a bit, "If you want, my Rolls-Royce is down the street." He nodded. "It's a convertible, so I can put the top down if you wish." He smiled a bit as he stood. His knees popped like crazy, he groaned a bit at the pain. He held out his hand to help her up, "How ironic is this? The stalker and the stalkee going out for coffee." He chuckled.

She took his hand and helped herself up using him as the counterweight. "Actually, not very. The stalker wants to keep a close eye on his 'stalkee' and therefore takes her out for a drink; just to make sure she's in good health and all is right in the world." Well..as in good health as one in her condition could be in. She still felt a bit feverish, but she was hoping the drive and/or the cool liquid would help her cool down. She motioned to the door, "Lead the way to the 'Rolls-Royce'." She was highly skeptical that he had such a car.

Xavier didn't budge when the woman used him to stand up. He chuckled a bit,"That is true." He nodded. "You don't believe that I have a Rolls-Royce, do you?" He raised an eyebrow as he slowly led her to the front door. He scanned over the city until he got to his apartment's garage. He closed his eyes as he walked and made his car appear about a block down the road. He let out a pained sigh, a damn car is hard to teleport. Let alone across town, he cleared his throat to try and cover up his hurt sigh. When they reached the door he stepped out, "Don't forget to lock the door~" He hummed a bit.

Keiko allowed him to lead her out, putting her arm around the door to turn the lock as she headed out before closing it. She glanced up to him, noting the painful groan, but decided to not address the issue. "And yes, I doubt you actually have a Royce..." She chuckled a bit, motioning for him to lead the way.

Xavier chuckled, "You will be surprised my stalkee." He hummed a bit as he walked down the sidewalk to his car. He put his hand in his pocket and made his key appear. He pulled out the key and started spinning it on his index finger. After a minute of walking they came up to his Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. He showed her the key pad and made the car doors lock, then unlock. "Told you I had a Rolls-Royce." He smiled.

Keiko raised a brow, snatching the key from him and pressing the Unlock button. She jumped a bit seeing the car's lights flash and hearing the doors unlock. "No way..." She approached the car cautiously, peering at it. "Well alright then..so you have a Royce...big deal." She threw the keys back at him. She acted like she didn't really care, but truth be told, she was very impressed.

"I told you I did." Xavier chuckled a bit. He caught the keys like it was no big deal. He went to the passenger side door and opened it for her, "Ladies first." He smiled a little. "I also have a Lamborghini." He shrugged nonchalantly. He hummed a bit as he waited for her to get in.

Keiko rolled her eyes, "Whatever you say Xavier." She helped herself into the car, glancing around the interior. She never thought she'd find herself in a Rolls Royce. It was an..interesting feeling. She looked up to Xavier, waiting for him to get in and buckled her seat belt.

Xavier shook his head and shut the door, he walked over and got into the drivers side. "Wow, I can't believe how skeptical you are." He chuckled as he started the car. "You didn't believe that I had a Rolls-Royce. And now you don't believe that I have a Lamborghini?" He sighed sweetly as he started down the road. "Let me guess, you don't believe that I am rich." He raised an eyebrow.

"I might believe that you're wealth is..slightly above average." She chuckled a bit, "What do you want me to believe? Every little word that comes from your mouth? Either way, just drive." She smiled slightly, then looked over to her right, hoping her mother wouldn't come home early. She sometimes had a habit of that.

"It's more then slightly above average." Xavier chuckled. "Yes ma'am." He smiled a bit. He liked it when woman got bossy, he hummed a bit as he drove down the road. He pulled into a small cafe about ten minutes later, it was a different one then yesterday. He pulled into a stall and got out, quickly going to her door to open it. "My stalkee." He chuckled as he held out his hand to help her out of the car.

Keiko chuckled lightly as he opened the door for her, unbluckling her seatbelt and climbing out. "You're quite the gentleman for a professional stalker." She smiled a bit, biting her lower lip for a brief moment before stepping aside to allow him to close the door. She turned to face the cafe, "This place looks nice..do you come here often?"

"Well I want my stalkee's to feel comfortable." Xavier chuckled a bit. He shut the door when she was out of the way. "Hm? Oh, no I don't. I have come here a few times, but not a lot." He nodded. "But they have fantastic muffins." He smiled sweetly. "Their coffee isn't half bad either." He held out his arm for her to take.

Keiko hesitated a moment, then put her arm in his with a slight smile, "Well, your current stalkee feels rather content right about now." Even though she was a bit under the weather, she still felt very well otherwise. She gasped lightly, "Oh, so now they have great muffins? Well! You can't just dangle delicious muffins in my face and expect me to wait here patiently!" She chuckled lightly, pulling him towards the door.

Xavier smiled, "Well I'm glad you do." He nodded. "The best is the double chocolate." He chuckled a bit as she pulled him. He moved so she wasn't pulling him and they were walking side by side. "I know all of the cafe's in town, I always like to go to one once a day." He moved and grabbed the door when they reached it, opening it for Keiko. "Ladies first." He smiled sweetly.

Keiko smiled a bit as he opened the door for her, "Personally, I'm a banana nut person." She stepped inside, looking around. It was rather clean and well decorated. She disliked dingy, boring places-but who didn't really? She glanced back to Xavier as he stepped inside, "Interesting place..."

"I eat any and all muffins, its my daily routine." Xavier smiled. "A muffin and a cappuccino." He hummed a bit as he walked into the cafe. "Isn't it? its so quaint and comfy." He waved her over to a table. He walked to one of the chairs and pulled it out for her. Yes he may of been her 'stalker' but he was a gentleman first. "You can order whatever you want." He smiled sweetly.

Keiko smiled bowing her head slightly in thanks then sat down, pulling her chair in, "You are the worst stalker I've ever met." She chuckled lightly, watching him as he moved to sit, "You have a 'routine'? I just do whatever the hell I feel like, within reason of course. I obviously can't go out for a morning jog or anything like that...which..would be nice I bet.." She shrugged a bit.

Xavier gasped and put his hand on his chest over his heart, "That hurts, so much." He chuckled. "I may be a stalker but I am also a gentleman. My father beat that into me when I was young." He nodded as he moved to his seat. He waved her comment off a bit, "Jogs are for losers." He chuckled a bit. "But yes I do have a routine, about this time everyday I go to a random cafe in town and get a muffin and a cappuccino." He smiled as he waved a waiter over to them.

She rolled her eyes with another soft chuckle, 'Well eating muffins every damn day is for fat asses so take that!" She looked up to the waiter, but glanced back to Xavier, motioning for him to order first, "I still need to think a bit.."

"Hey now, do I look fat to you?" Xavier lifted his shirt to show his toned abdomen. "I didn't think so." He chuckled as he let his shirt fall. He sighed playfully, "Fine..." He rolled his eyes playfully as well. "I'll take a mocha cappuccino and a chocolate muffin. And could you add a touch of cream to the cappuccino?" He looked at the waiter.
The waiter scribbled the males order down, "We can do that for you sir." The waiter nodded before looking back at the female. |
She quickly scanned over his abdomen as it was exposed to her. Keiko was silent a moment as the waiter looked to her while she worked to regather her thoughts, "Malted Milk Ball flavored cappuccino please..and..a banana nut muffin if it's not too much trouble.." She smiled a bit, looking to Xavier once more as the waiter left, "This has been on my mind since yesterday..but..I swear I was most likely having a heart attack yesterday before I passed out at the cafe..but..when I woke up, I felt fine...was I..given anything while I was out?" She tilted her head a bit, her bangs moving to cover her eyes a bit. And now, with her not feeling so well to begin with today, she hardly noticed that her heart-rate was abnormally low, even for someone who was mildly ill.

The waiter nodded, "It's no trouble at all ma'am." He scribbled down her order and skittered away.
Xavier shook his head a bit, "I gave you some water, that was all." He crossed his legs. "And you were only out for a few minutes. So fast that an ambulance wasn't called." He nodded a little. "Also when you were out your heart rate slowed to a normal pace." He bit the inside of his lip. |

Keiko nodded a bit, "I see..well then! I suppose I'm just lucky." She smiled some, glancing around the cafe. It was surprisingly quiet during the 'noon rush. "I think you made that waiter nervous as well...did you see how fast he ran away?" She chuckled lightly putting her elbow on the table and resting her head in her eyes, closing her eyes.

"Yes your very lucky." Xavier smiled sweetly. He chuckled, "Ya I actually get that a lot. So I'm used to it." He nodded a bit. When she closed her eyes he scanned over her body. He bit his lip when he got to her heart. That's not good. He thought as he tried to think of a way to help her without letting his secret out. "Are you ok? You look paler then normal, or at least what I have seen as 'normal'." He leaned forward a bit. When the waiter came back with their stuff he kept staring at her.

Keiko cracked open one eye, vaguely noticing him staring at her, "Yeah I'm fine...I guess I'm just a bit worn out from...expelling my breakfast.." She shrugged then sat back up as their stuff was placed on the table. She smiled brightly, taking a cautious sip of her drink. "Mmmm~ Delicious~" She smiled, even though she was feeling rather exhausted. She took a small chunk of the muffin and popped it into her mouth, mainly doing the action to 'prove she was alright'.

Xavier bit the inside of his lip, she was lying but he couldn't call her on it. "After we are done here I will take you home and then you should take a nap." He nodded. "I don't want my 'stalkee' to feel to bad." He chuckled sweetly. He grabbed his cup and took a small sip, "It is, this is one of my favorite places." He nodded as he watched her cautiously. Why had he become attached to a human? Let alone a sick human.

Keiko frowned a bit, her breathing becoming slightly strained as her heart's productivity declined further and further. Her chest most certainly ached right now with the enlarged muscle going on the fritz. Unknown to her, due to the increased effort her heart had to go through on a daily basis, the muscle has become to large to fit inside the pericardium. With the pericardium sac being stretched the way it was, it was nearly impossible for her heart to beat; explaining her aches and weakness over the past week. She had mentioned the sensations to her mother, but her appointment couldn't be made for a few days yet; due to the town having a very small hospital and therefore understaffed and booked way solid. "I don't want to go home...I may barely know you, but I do like your company. Other than that weird feeling you give off, you're very pleasant-hard ot come by these days." She took another few bites of her muffin with a slight wince as she felt a sharp pain in her chest, almost causing her to flinch as well.

Xavier raised an eyebrow as he heard her breathing staggering. He was not liking how fast her health was going down, and right in front of him. All he had to do was reach out and touch her, and she would feel better. But would/could he risk exposing himself just to save a human that after today he might never see again? No he couldn't, he wouldn't want to expose himself like that. He smiled a bit when she talked, even though she was close to death right now her voice still had a bell like quality to it.
"Well I am a very personable person." Xavier chuckled a bit. "Your very sweet to be around yourself." He smiled sweetly before he took another sip of his cappuccino. He gritted his teeth when he saw the slight wince, normal eyes wouldn't be able to see it but his vampire eyes caught everything. He didn't know what to do, should he go on like nothing was happening to her or should he do everything in his power to help her? He was so confused. |
Keiko glanced over to him, feeling a weird sensation in the air. Xavier looked..distressed. Could..could he notice that something was wrong with her? She bit her lip, trying not to look at him. That expression of his was very unnerving. She finally smiled, weakly at that, "Why thank you." It dawned on her that maybe the years of her disease were finally taking a severe effect on her health; and most likely the little sprint she did yesterday didn't help any either. It was rather surprising to her how quickly her health was declining now. Perhaps..she should've taken Xavier's offer of getting her up on the transplant list...perhaps.
For a moment, her chest stopped aching and she felt it easier to breathe. She smiled brightly as the feeling continued a moment longer, but swiftly shifted again. This time, she did clutch at her blue shirt with a pained wince. What could possibly be wrong this time? She had done everything she was supposed to, and recommenced by her doctor, took a double dose of her medicines today. |
Xavier nodded, "Your welcome dear." He bit the inside of his lip again. He kept watching her, he had to do something to help her. But what? Heal her heart and then she freaks out and runs off. Or call the cops on him and he get thrown into a program where they experiment on him. Yes he would be able to get away easily but its the principle of the thing.
Xavier jumped when she grabbed her chest, Enough is enough. He thought as he stood and moved to her. "Ok, we need to get you to the hospital." He put his hand on her shoulder. He used some power to make sure her heart didn't fail right then and there. That would be bad, and then her mother would go after him for taking Keiko out. Xavier reached into his pocket and pulled out a fifty dollar bill and set it on the table. Not really caring that it was at least a forty dollar tip. "Come." He shifted a bit and gently picked her up. He watched her heart closely as he started to the door. |
