Chloe laughed. "Somehow I should've expected that since you said you have a habit of making cinnamon and chocolate flavors when you bake." Taking a taste, she smiled. "Did you make the chocolate yourself, too? It's been well tempered, and it seems there's a slight bit more cocoa solids then butter, so that it has a slightly bitter edge, which mixes well with the ground cinnamon. Though... You need to be aware, not everyone will like this. The icing's a tad sweet compared to the cinnamon and the chocolate..." She shook it off. Nonetheless, it was a very well made treat.

"Baking depends a lot on the person you're making it for. It's good to get to know someone before you bake them, if you can. Though, standard procedures are good too, depending on the situation, I suppose. And yeah, making your own is fun. But some people hate it. I make it for the bakery since Richard doesn't usually have time anymore."

Tazha_bear 03-22-2011 09:04 PM

"Yes... In the city we're going to there's a lot of people who don't like things too sweet. Besides, the cocoa is hand picked and hand processed by me. I do it over the weekends when I have nothing to do So I like to let the natural, rich flavors of the chocolate to poke through. It somewhat contributes to mixing the flavors. Besides, i didn't add too much butter because of the cocoa butter that's in it. And the frosting... I did that on purpose. For me it was too bitter, than again ice cream and pudding aren't exactly that wweet either so it makes up for it. It's meant to be something you can either mash up and eat, like for little kids, toddlers or people who have no teeth..." she said, feeling somewhat rude but she shrugged it off. " or for people who simply want to fix the flavor to suit them. The cup cake is also going to be a customizable treat to the customers ca chose what the filling is, what it's made with, the likes." She explained.

Juneberry 03-22-2011 09:22 PM

"That's definitely a better way to do it. If you make it something that's very biased on taste, only so many people will be happy. It's good to make things everyone can be happy with. Don't the smiles on people's faces after a good treat of meal make you happy?" She giggled- just the thought of smiling customers made her giddy.

"My first customer to eat something I made only smiled because I was a little kid and they wanted to make me feel encouraged, but I was able to see through it and got mad at them. So they kept coming back and giving me honest answers. The first time they smiled after it, I felt so accomplished as a chef- and to boot, seeing their smile as so thrilling, I wanted to be able to make even more for them!" She blushed slightly, however, realizing it was likely not a topic enjoyable to all. "I-I'm sorry, I'm not talking too much or anything am I? I just get so excited when I think about making things for people..."

Tazha_bear 03-22-2011 10:56 PM

Corrine smiled, nodding and agreeing with her. "Yeah. My first customer... I was about ten. My first foster parents told me the flavors the customer liked and had me make a cake with icing. I learned to add just the right amount of things then to make it perfect and served it... They were getting married and they looked so thrilled to see their cake when it was done. They loved it. After that they were regular customers for birthdays, sweet sixteens... I was basically running the shop fr a while after her died, though I did good, I was stressed." she shrugged.

Shaking her head she laughed. "It's always fun to talk about things like this. Besides, it's an easy time consuming, amusing conversation for a three plane ride. Which brings me to tell you, we have less than twenty minutes before we land..." She said, putting away her stuff after wiping them off with diaper wipes.

Juneberry 03-23-2011 03:31 PM

"Why do you use baby wipes to wipe off containers and the like? Aren't there chemicals in it that are a tad dangerous? You might want to rewash it when we get off." Chloe smiled simply, nodding. "I agree though, anything involving food makes for an interesting conversation. Especially if it involves making it... But really, ten? I didn't start until I was twelve personally, and my first few attempts at making something for a customer were failures. It's not normal to be able to make something good at the start, is it? Or is it strange that I needed to practice? Then again, besides cooking, my only skill is running, and the two are very different..."

Tazha_bear 03-23-2011 04:24 PM

She shrugged. "I'd be walking around the plane with a cake knife. Wonder how well that'd go..." she mused silently, than laughing she shrugged. "I'm not normal. No one's really normal these days are they?" She questioned. Indeed things weren't. Vamps and other creatures deciding to randomly pop up and show themselves, and now the world knew they existed, it made doing things, being someone that much more difficult.

Juneberry 03-23-2011 05:32 PM

((I had no idea we were using other creatures. That gives me more to do with a my other pair of siblings that are being overly quiet 8D))

"I suppose normal is a bit of a statement that depends on one's own background. That's what teachers say nowadays. But with all the strange things going on, it feels good to have a basis on commonality versus the extraordinary, you know? Well, maybe that's just me...:

"Do you have your cake knife with you? I don't really keep it with me...The main thing I keep with me that I cook with is my pastry brush. It's special to me, so I've always kept it with me. I'm not as attached to my other utensils though, so I usually can do well with what I have been given. I can't replace my pastry brush though. It's something I made on my own with Richard's help as a child..."

Tazha_bear 03-23-2011 10:20 PM

she shrugged, getting her things sorted out just as they announced on the intercom that they were about to land. "i take a lot with me. They're all gifts and stuff from people I care about the most in all my families." she said, sitting back and getting ready for them to land.

Juneberry 03-23-2011 11:18 PM

"Most of the gifts I'm given are food-based, so they've been eaten a long time ago. Whenever my birthday or something comes around, Richard always makes me one of his best cakes." Chloe giggled, smiling. "I do carry some trinkets I got from my mom in the past before she passed away, but those aren't used at all. It's just a few photos and a stuffed animal. I do rather love that monkey though." She giggled a bit more as she sat back, straightening her seatbelt and belongings for the landing. She took out and old photo and the said monkey from her nearby luggage to smile at it.

Tazha_bear 03-24-2011 12:25 AM

Corrine nodded. she didn't know why she'd gotten silent all of a sudden but she did, and she finally realized, her brother's hand that was in hers, was gone, and so was he. "where did he go...?" she mused aloud, looking around the plane.

She looked up at the luggage and frowned, sighing. He said as soon as the plane was landing, they were going their separate ways, but she didn't think he was serious. Simply shrugging she forced a small smile. "It's good keeping treasured things with you. hold on to them, ok?" she said, the plane landing and she got her luggage. "CALL ME WHEN YOU CAN!" she called, leaving down the ramp, and going to the pick-up area. Waiting for her foster parents.

Juneberry 03-24-2011 04:19 PM

"Um...Stay safe!" Chloe called, waving. She sighed and frowned slightly at the same time, feeling a familiar, and annoying, hand on her shoulder. "Please don't touch me, Shawn."

"You seemed down. I was worried."

"The last thing I want is you worrying about me. I'm fine. I just have a lot to think about now." Pushing his hand lightly off her shoulder, she fled down the ramp and looked for her luggage at claim. Her brother did the same, and she reluctantly waited with him for their ride.

Tazha_bear 03-27-2011 01:07 AM

Hataka woke up as soon as she felt as if she were falling. But the plane was simply landing. Oh well. At least she got up right?

Standing when the plane landed, grabbing her luggage and towing it herself until a group of bodyguards took her luggage and quickly surrounded her, but she managed to catch a last, small glimpse of the guy who was sitting by her, and she waved. He may or may not notice her, either way it was worth it just to say bye.

Walking away she met up with four other groups of agents, and they melded together as the band greeted each other. The agents gave them more space, but they were still choking from the security. But sometimes, their fans went crazy, so protection was required absolutely everywhere they went.

~*~*~

Jay walked off the plane calmly with nothing except a duffel bag. He wasn't much of an over-packer, and liked to take what he could carry on his back, without killing his shoulders, and what was most important. Such as clothes, a toothbrush, the basic necessities.

He walked off the plane with ease. He had a dark grace about him, something a half demon would have, and had the pride of a jaguar on the prowl. He simply looked around at the people before waling away, his feet barely making a shuffling sound as he left the airport all together, watching as what looked like a band met up and had their bitter sweet reunion. He could care less. They were simply entertainment, all except the vocalist, who was someone who he was keeping his eye on. He never knew when vampires would attack.

~*~*~

Corin watched his sister from a distance. He said they were going their own ways, yes, but they also had to look out for each other. He had already called her foster parents to get her. It was hard having to go to a different home than his sister, but she had to learn independence at some point.

Turning away from her he left the airport, going to his condo. He had went to law school for the past few years, and was now an apprentice lawyer. He had to be that way with on agency for a year and a half, going on two before he could become a full fledged licensed lawyer. But he didn't work justice much. He just like arguing and using evidence to prove his point before moving on to another case. He knew that they sometimes got repetitive but he could care less. It was an amusing job where he could accuse and prove without to much unbearable ridicule. So it came across as simple to him.

~*~*~

Corrine looked down at her phone, switching it on and sighing. Her foster parents had sent her a voice mail, saying they'd be there a little late because of traffic. Great. Just her day.

She could care less if she had something to do, but she didn't. It would be easier if, like her brother, she was there with a job that payed all her transportation and got her taken somewhere instantly, but no, it wasn't like that for her. she still had a long way to go before anything for her could be done instantly.

Turning on her phone she called them back to see when they'd be there, and than looked at the clock. Looked like she'd have a thirty-minute wait for her foster parents.

At least, she thought gloomily, It isn't as bad as last time.

Juneberry 03-27-2011 03:12 PM

Sayaku got off the plane and steadied his sister, who was slightly dizzy from air-sickness, as she called it. However, the little bit of blood dripping down her chin said otherwise, and the few coughs that came out of her mouth were confirmation of the problem. "You shouldn't lie saying it's motion sickness. You and I know well what it is..." His sister's health problem was a genetic deficiency, caused by their parents. There was more to her than a sterile body. Her father's background of the once in a blue moon blood-making vampire had been passed on to Flutter. And, of course, it was acting up again.

~~~
"Saya, you go on ahead. You have a band meeting soon, right? Aren't they picking you up by car?" Flutter smiled softly to her older brother, wiping the blood off her chin. "I'll be alright. You go on ahead. I'm going to find a place to eat. And maybe a way to get rid of the extra blood." She didn't give her brother time to respond, afraid of his likely over-protective response to stay with her. So she fled, quickly, however tripped, falling to the man that seemed very lightly packed compared to most people. Fearing she might have hurt him in some way despite her overly light weight, she frowned and bowed to him politely. "I'm very sorry..." She coughed into her hand, blood trickling slightly through her fingers due to it. She gulped. This is bad... My blood increase is getting closer to its limit... "I-If you'll excuse me..."
---
"I'm going to go after a friend I made on the plane while we wait," Chloe told her brother silently. "I wanna discuss the job offer she gave me in more detail."
"Fine. I'll come get you when they get here. Said they'd be late anyway." Shawn nodded and watched her leave. He began walking towards the gate, waiting for a sign of their family. "Guess she's having trouble being civil," He mumbled. He noticed the girl he'd sat next to on the plane, and, thus waved to her as if it were as easy to see as pie, even though it likely wasn't.
Chloe headed towards Corrine, waving slightly before smiling. She walked over, putting a hand on the girl's shoulder. "Wanna wait together for our rides? If you have to wait that is... It'd be fun to chat some more, don't you think? If we have to wait anyway, might as well do something fun while we do so."
Tazha_bear 03-27-2011 09:32 PM
Jay felt someone bump into him, and he quickly caught her arms to help steady her before she covered her mouth. He knew well what was wrong with her, so he pointed towards the group in the landing lot still. "There are vampires over there. Might be one that needs blood." He stated simply, tucking his hands into his pockets, closing his eyes for a moment. "Anyways... May want to hurry, before they leave. Besides, the longer you linger, the easier it is for the crim-vamps to find you. And that's not going to be fun." he said, waving her off and continuing on his way.
~*~*~
Hataka smiled at him, before looking back at one of her band members. She noticed that the bodyguards around her tensed, and her lips twitched slightly before she took off her glasses, her eyes a red blaze as she commanded firmly that some of the guards take their leave, and than sighed, ruing her temples. Now the other guys could be seen. They all had something unique about them other than their stunning beauty. Some of the guys wore heavy eyeliner, or had odd haircuts with weird unnatural coloring. Than again some of the said "Unnatural coloring" was actually natural to them, but not to normal human beings.
Crossing her arms over her chest she smirked at one of her band members, who had made a bet with her, and she proceeded to say he would lose, and than they began to bare their fangs playfully at each other, than, she got in the middle, hooking arms with two of the guys and walking towards the exit.
~*~*~
Corrine looked up, startled, but than smiled. "I have thirty minutes, says the foster parents, to get myself together! So of course." She said, obviously more energetic and cheerful now that she was off the plane.
She took out her cell and texted her best friend real quick than tucked it back into her pocket.
"So, what's up?" She asked, pushing some loose blond hair behind her ear.
Juneberry 03-28-2011 03:11 PM
"Wait a minute... Who are you and how do you know about me?" Flutter stared in shock, eyes wide while her hand still covered her mouth slightly. This person had seen through her problem. "I can't just walk up to a vampire. They'll figure me out even easier...My blood is possibly toxic to them, after all. Vampire blood can be toxic to another vampire..." She hit her head mentally. He only knew she had too much blood- it was possible he hadn't known her genetics! "Um...What's a crim-vamp, anyway?"
---
Chloe took a seat soon after being told it was alright, sitting briskly and kicking her legs back and forth slightly to keep herself moving. "Not really anything. My aunt's late, so we have to wait a while." She smiled a bit, looking at the other girl with a curiosity easily noticeable. "Oh-" her phone began to ring and she checked the message. It was Richard, who she'd sent a message to briefly. "I told my boss in a text about what we talked about on the phone. He said it would probably be a good idea for me to try...He said, 'getting away from here might help you recover' or something. Don't know what he means by that, but..."
Tazha_bear 03-28-2011 05:40 PM
Jay rolled his eyes. "I'm a demon. I'm from the line that helped create the blood suckers. And toxic or not, these vamps out there are special. Their immune to everything except fire." He said, his voice was thick with irritation. "A crim vamp is a vampire that will feed to kill on anything he, or she, gets hold of." he explained to her, making sure to make eye contact and say it slowly, as if he were talking to a kindergärtner.
~*~*~
Corrine nodded. "I know how that is. My foster parents got caught up in traffic." she said and than smiled. "Well, whatever he means, there's probably good will behind it in your favor. He sounds like a wise guy." she said, eventually taking out a hair tie and pulling her hair into a neat pony tail.
Juneberry 03-28-2011 08:20 PM
She shivered slightly. "Sounds as bad as papa...Eh, not nearly as bad as I think on it..." She shook her head, frowning slightly. "I'm immune to nothing...Except sugar. I'm very immune to sugar." She coughed one last time before the attack began to wear off, the amount of blood having come out apparently having been enough. "Sorry to bother you... I'll leave you alone now...Thank you though." Her face was slightly red from the high blood pressure starting to lessen, barely. As well, from embarrassment and anxiety.
---
"I don't know what goes through his head, ever. Richard has a tendency to get mad if I don't take a day off work even though it's good for him financially- and me. He gets mad when I get the complete attendance award or something at school too, saying it's unnatural that I should get that. He thinks I should take a day off for a cold or something..." She laughed a bit. "I guess he's worried I'm working too hard? To be honest, I don't understand it at all."
Tazha_bear 03-28-2011 08:37 PM
Jay rolled his eyes, setting his jaw and turning to race off to wherever he needed to go. No sense in lingering longer than he needed to, right?
~*~*~
Corrine nodded. "It is bad to not have a day off at all, you know. You should relax every now and again." she agreed and wrinkled her nose. "that's it. you're more inhuman than me. No one doesn;t miss at least a DAY of school." she said stubbornly.
Juneberry 03-28-2011 09:01 PM
((Were the vampires he mentioned Hataka and her band? Just to make sure.))
"I hate sitting around...So I always go anywhere I can and do anything I can do to keep myself busy." Chloe smiled easily, not phased by the way the girl had noted her lack of absenteeism. "School is a place where I at least move around. Though if i could work full time, I'd prefer that... But work and school at least mean I don't just sit there, you know? So I like them that way. Though classes are annoying since they involve sitting..."
Tazha_bear 03-28-2011 09:24 PM
[[ yes. But not the crim-vamps.]]
Corrine burst out laughing. "If you hate sitting so much why not become a track star? by Rafael's wings you're quite a workaholic." She said, laughing so hard she had tears rolling down her cheeks and her stomach muscles were cramping to the point that she was literally on the floor laughing.
Juneberry 03-28-2011 09:39 PM
"Eh? Can't I do my track and field and still keep a job?" Chloe looked at the girl blankly. "I already run track... I've been in track since before I started cooking at the bakery."
---
Flutter walked over anxiously to Hayaka's group, remembering that it was the group she had pointed out to her by the nice man that had apparently been a demon. However, she knew not how to address them- thus, her anxiety rose. "E-Excuse me...May I take a moment of your time?"
Tazha_bear 03-28-2011 09:53 PM
She eventually sobered up, wiping her eyes than simply grinning. "I'm sorry... i never met someone with the sitting jitters..." she said, chuckling lightly as she caught her breath.
~*~*~
Hataka looked over at the girl, the guards tensed but she made the motion for them to stand down. "what is it you need?" she asked calmly, her face was now blank as she stared at her.
Juneberry 03-28-2011 10:01 PM
"I grew up always having to run around so now I'm uncomfortable if I don't," Chloe confessed. Of course, it wasn't necessarily her only reason for being that way, but it was indeed a big part of it. "The only classes I'm really good at are home economics and PE because of it. But I have the best grades in the school in those two classes."
---
"Well, that is to say..." Flutter was red. What would happen if these people weren't really vampires? What if the man had just been making it up? I have to try... She told herself. Taking a deep breath, she bowed politely and blurted out what she needed. "I-I need someone to drink my blood."
Tazha_bear 03-29-2011 08:10 AM
Hataka's brows shot up and she looked back at one of the boys. she couldn't help herself, she burt out into small fits of laughter, but quickly sobered up. "Is someone actually REQUESTING that we bite them. that's a first." she mumbled, but sighing and giving in she motioned for her to come closer.
~*~*~
Corrine shrugged. "I was good at everything and a common techer's pet. I had a huge amount of popularity plus some that i didn't even want and a billion scholarships I could have pursued but they never interested me so, here I am." she said simply, shrugging. PE and Home ec. she hated home ec more than anything honestly. And PE, she survived but her coach didn't let you stop working out even if you got heat stroke.
Juneberry 03-29-2011 07:05 PM
Flutter bowed her head politely. "It may seem strange but... My blood increasing is bad... I-I need to get rid of the excess somehow and I really don't want to go to the hospital..." She murmured the words quietly, but was relieved to find that she was being laughed at only for asking such a question that normally would be something people were afraid of, not for thinking them vampires. "A man said that it wouldn't cause trouble for you if I asked, so..." She did take a step closer as she was motioned to, bowing one last time. "I'm sorry for the trouble..."
---
"I was popular also, but only because I was good at sports. Then again, I hated when people suddenly walked up to me as if I'd known them forever. Popularity is really annoying, isn't it? Or am I the only one that feels that way?" Chloe giggled a bit to herself. "The track team's captain was always hitting on me too...I really hate that guy... He doesn't understand the word no, it seems."
Tazha_bear 03-29-2011 07:35 PM
Hataka simply smirked. No she didn't technically like taking blood from humans, or other vamps or anything of the sort, simply because they always had to make the other lose their grip for a moment so they could slip them into the haze to numb the pain... Which meant yes, Hataka pulled her close and tilted her chin up, kissing her for a moment before slipping into her mind and easing away any nervous thought, distracting her from the pain by sending her on her "dream vacation". Of course it was an illusion but she made sure it seemed so real, she wouldn't know the difference.
~*~*~
She smirked. "I like it when teachers hit on me. Especially hot ones. Call me a hoe but I, like it!" she said, adding a small purr at the end for emphasis before laughing."Though when girl teachers do it, it's just awkward." she said, flicking a loose strand of blond hair out of her eyes.
Juneberry 03-29-2011 08:27 PM
Flutter didn't need the dream vacation the way most did- she just needed her blood taken. The idea of being bitten by a vampire was normal to her- after all, she'd grown up needing such things. The pain from her high blood pressure was much more intimidating then the bite. Still, she did like the visions of plants she got when she was put into one of the vacations. Though, she just wanted the plants in general.
---
"I hate when anyone does it. Especially my track team captain...Who is in the same grade as me and had nothing better to do, apparently. More teachers come to the bakery to visit me and say hello then he does. In my opinion, if he actually did have interest he'd do something like that to show it, wouldn't he? Then again, I just have no interest in him anyway. While boys are nice and the like, I don't think I'd date most of 'em."
Tazha_bear 03-29-2011 08:39 PM
Hataka took as much blood as she could, than slipped out of her mind an away from her neck, wiping away any trace of blood quickly than nodding. "There you go... And you'll have scars later so you can flaunt being bitten by a famous vampire." she said, than turning away.
~*~*~
Corrine smirked."Hey... as long as it's a good make-out session, I'm all for it... Never really learned commitment growing up to boyfriend, husbands, anything of the sort would be entirely out of the question, besides, I don't like being tied down." she said, shrugging. "sucky situation I guess... Than again guys are pigs. Give them a foot and they take a yard." she said, rolling her eyes.
Juneberry 03-29-2011 08:56 PM
"It isn't really a matter of flaunting. I'd rather just not have to go to the hospital from my blood's natural enjoyment of tormenting me by multiplying far too fast. The only good thing about it is the vampires around me can get a good meal of me. Not exactly fun otherwise..." She sighed. "I'm sorry for asking this of you...The man said that you weren't affected by the toxicity of a vampire's blood if you drank it, so it seemed safer to ask you then someone else. Since I'm half myself, it'd be bad if someone who couldn't handle vampire blood had to drink it, no?"
---
"I'm sorta like a guy in some ways, but also like you in others. I don't like being tied down- after all, I'm a busy body. Tying me down would mean making me stop moving as much as I do. But... I do like to take as much as I can with some things. And I'll admit, I can understand what guys find so attractive in some girls. Even I've had an interest in 'em before. But... I don't wanna date, either. I don't want to get too close to anyone."
Tazha_bear 03-29-2011 09:06 PM
Corrine smiled. "I'm simply playful... I don't know how to be faithful, and besides, flirting anf making out and touching, my personal stress reliever. so if we ever go clubbing and I leave without ya, I'll probably be gone for at least halfway through the night. Besides, they never actually got very far with me. I know how to get 'em, and I'm still a virgin." she said, smirking and examining her nails.
[[ sorry in a rush so can't do both chars ATM][
Juneberry 03-29-2011 09:09 PM
((S'okay, no need to worry.))
"I don't really do much when I go to those places anyway. I mostly go to drink. I get a couple drinks, leave and get back to working at the stove. I'm pretty plain and boring. I have no interest in touching people or anything. I just like to go for the drinks..." She laughed nervously- did that prove her alcoholism was bad? Likely, but it wasn't that she went often anyway.
Tazha_bear 05-02-2011 07:56 PM
Corrine rolled her eyes. "You're no fun. Well, that'll have to change up soon. after all we're only going to be working tuesday through friday. which means no baking on saturday, sunday or Monday." she said.
Juneberry 05-02-2011 08:07 PM
"I spend most my my time when I'm not baking at work to cook at home. I like to practice recipes a lot and find new ways to make them better. My strawberry tarts get better often because I try so much to improve." She smiled a bit, giggling. "I'll never be a perfect cook...But the more I practice, the better I'll be."
Tazha_bear 05-02-2011 08:26 PM
"well, not happening with me around. you're too much of a workaholic and most people like that will never find anyone to spend their life with because you're too busy focusing on stuff that really, in reality, doesn't matter as much." she said, playing with the ends of her hair.
Juneberry 05-02-2011 08:32 PM
"I don't want to find someone to 'spend my life with'. I'm not interested in that sort of thing. I'm happiest when I'm cooking or running. Other things...They don't do much for me."
Tazha_bear 05-02-2011 08:38 PM
Corrine glared, her gaze cold. "Until your friend are married and they bail out on yo and you're all alone. Even baking wears down. Sure, makes me happy but i'd like to have fun, and fun includes friends. ALL of them. So I'll give you one day to 'perfect' your baking. The other two are fun days. Strictly." she said, leaning back. "Besides you wouldn't need to if you used your nose and tasted the stuff as you went along." she said.
Juneberry 05-02-2011 09:01 PM
((This is a strange way for her to react, but she is emotional right now so it makes sense I think...For her to snap. xD))
"I do use my nose and taste it. But it won't make it perfect. And cooking is fun, to me. And so is running. So you shouldn't just assume I use those days for work." She glared as well, shakng her head. "Maybe I should just decline your offer. You don't seem to understand. I had friends. Friends who made me happy. I had fun with them...Until I needed someone to talk to. When I needed to talk, they pushed me away. And you know what? That made me realize they weren't my friends. So I decided I don't need that. I'll talk to people...But I don't make friends anymore. Because anyone who ever claimed to care besides Richard, who acted as my father when I had no one... Anyone else just threw me aside as soon as I needed help, no matter how many times I tried to help them."
She got up, waving. "I'll think about the job offer, but don't try to take charge of my life. What I do the other three days is my choice. You don't like it...Don't give me the job. My idiot brother is waving me over, so I gotta go."
She rolled her eyes. "no, I can see why you lose people so well. You're not grateful to have others. And you should try to be less of a strawberry shortcake drama queen. And I'm sure Richard would want you to at least have more fun. besides, no one wants a future butterball working with them anyways, especially when all they think about is tarts. honestly working with you would be like working with the red queen. you have a big enough head an mouth for it so, go on ahead, chase people off. But don't come crying when you really need someone." She said, her voice calm and smooth, but was razor sharp.
Standing she left, she seemed to turn into thin air in the crowd of people.
Her brother was surprised when she didn't storm past him, but rather stayed a slight distance behind him- normally, she wanted to be farther ahead than farther behind. "Okay, something's up." He grumbled, irritated. He'd seen what happened from afar, but knew that both sides had a point- and, of course, he hadn't helped his sister's. Shawn let out a sigh as he walked ahead. "You know...Just because no one thus far has been helpful doesn't mean no one will ever be helpful," He noted.
"Like you should talk," Chloe retorted. "All you ever did was go to school and never listen when something happened to mom. You never cared."
"I'll admit that. I'll admit I didn't listen when you guys needed help. But it's not like it mattered, since you were able to do it on your own anyway."
"You make it sound like I wanted that." She responded coldly. The two were quiet afterward, in a car with their aunt, who helped talk them both down. She reminded Chloe that the future wasn't going to be the same as the past, and reminded Shawn that it was his own stupidity to assume his sister could handle it just because he wanted to be lazy. Somehow, the two siblings decided they'd go drinking together that night- even though it was strange that Shawn would agree, considering he wasn't much of a drinker, and his sister was underage.
((A new place to meet, y'know? xD))
Corrine went to her new adoptive family, greeting them formally before she walked with them to the car. "I hope my earnings have paid for it..." she said, her brow creased slightly in concern.
"Yes. It was confirmed by the agents... you've bought the place plus the bakery below. We can start picking furniture if you'd like..." they offered.
Corrine smiled thankfully. these were her favorite guardians. They understood her. they paid for both her college degrees in both cooking, and psychiatric training. not only did she want to work in a bakery, but she had a license and wanted to help people, give them advice and make them feel better.
"No, I think I'm going to celebrate tonight. I'll be home around one or two... maybe later. I'll be home though." she said, her french accent carrying on to them silently.
she got out when they dropped her off at the penthouse. yes, it was on the very top floor but she had an elevator, and her stuff was delivered earlier.
Quickly going to the top floor she went to what was to be her room, and she quickly put on a black sequence mini dress, black Boots and a Jean crop jacket.
She put on some dark lipstick and a little shimmer evening make up than headed out to a club/bar. The only one close to her penthouse and went inside, instanty swaying to the music as soon as she walked in, easily blending in except for her goddess-like appearance.
