I don't like SUPER cluttered. If it has a theme, and it flows, it really doesn't bother me. But when you can't see the avatar, or the avatar is covered in pets, and face masks, and head items, and arm items.. etc etc. Its just kinda like... "Whut?" xD;

I think I've made a few nicely cluttered avatars on Tris... <.<; At least, I HOPE I have. Lmao.

I don't mind clutter too bad if it is done right. What I don't like is a clutterfucked avatar where it just makes me cringe. xD

To my opinion I don't think it's cluttered because it has a color scheme, to me it's the belt that's throwing it off. So just get rid of the belt and it's good

It really depends on how cluttered an Avi is, and how the clutter is placed. I've made an avi with a huge number of layers, but I wouldn't call it cluttered because you could only see the top five or so layers.

Ernya avi's used to be cool...until they were just complete clutter. They all look the same to me now... just in slightly different colors.

It's the stuff like in, say, this thread that's just too...urgh.

oh my gosh Espy, I can't even see items, just color all over. @.@ granted, I don't know what Ernya's items look like on their own, but with our avis even someone new to the site can at least discern that there are distinct items of clothing.

I've been loving some clutter. Seriously. xD My last avi here was cluttered and so is this one. But I love them.

Clutter avatars are just one of those things I guess that you either love or hate XP I definitely have them every once in awhile but they always have a theme whether it be colors or types of items. I guess its just one of those thing you take it or leave it XP

hmm I think one of my friends got me over that due to her trying to make clutter avatars she would get as many items as she could to make it a clutter box
it sometimes can actually look fairly neat, was on another site she did that on, hasn't seen anyone do it on here, yet

Mine usually have a color scheme. I'm not a huge fan of random items/colors thrown together.

Everyone knows what items I used. The only time someone asks me what item was because they've never seen it in the shops

Personally, if everything on the avatar matches and is even, meaning not too heavy on the background, top, middle, or bottom then it doesn't seem cluttered to me. If there's a bunch of random crap of all different colors with no direction I kinda find the avatar a little repulsive to say the least. I dunno if that sounded mean but it's just how I look at cluttered avatars.

Devri is an excellent example of an avatar that is cluttered, but everything matches everything, so it is amazing!

I personally REALLY like cluttered avi's, mainly because there are so many layers, and sometimes a lot of colour, character, and uniqueness <3
