Nalaria was about to reply, but before she could, Solomon had gently placed his hand on her cheek and smiled softly saying she didn't need to answer if she didn't want to. Honestly, the touch to her face made her turn a bright red. She blinked a couple times, clearing her throat cas the words were literally caught in her throat. "I ran away before they could get to me," she said, "My mothers pitiful scream sent me running. My power kind of... Crushed... A few vampires and killed them. So I think the council didn't feel like runnig after me. I was found in an ally by an elderly couple. They raises me and then they died when I was sixteen."
|
He nodded, " Oh I see..." He frowned slightly, "Im sorry you've had such a terrible life." He looked up at the sky, "Why is it that you still attend highschool? You're obviously older than 17...Ah pardon me! I don't mean to be so nosy...I'm just curious about you."
|
"I still attend for my bestfriend," Nalaria said, "She's the great great granddaughter of the two who helped me out. She knows about the real me and she knew I wasn't very well educated. So I've been going through school with her for three years. I think I was at middle school education when I met her." she paused. "And I don't mind you wanting to know about me," she said, "Not many people have gotten to know me. Afterall... I am a half breed."
|
"And she accepts you? How strange." He stopped suddenly peering up at the building before them. The mall. He let out abother shudder. Hopefully the humans would be too busy with their errands to notice him. He could handle a few girls ooling him but an entire flock would drive him insane.
With a deep breath, he continued forward with her. "If I disappear, you'll likely find me back at my house. I wouldn't want a repeat of the high school incident." |
Nalaria nodded. When they were at the mall, she mailed brightly. Yet when Solomon said that if he disappeared, he'd be at his house. She let out a huff, hugging his arm now with an annoyed expression on her face. "I won't let girls swarm you," she said, "So let's go~" she then tugged on his arm lightly, wanting him to follow.
|
Solomon was mildly surprised when she started to drag him into the mall, "[bOh so now I need you to protect me? Marvelous.[/b]" He laughed slightly pulling his arm free as he followed. He then wrapped his arm around her waist keeping her close. "A bodyguard should remain close to her mark. Am I wrong?" He gave her a sly wink leading her through the mall.
It was only a few minutes until they were in front of Hot Topic. He couldn't help but smile a bit, "You know, I think I might like this place already. Nice atmosphere." He glanced behind them feeling tons of beady eyes watching him. With a frown he quickly turned around to ignore the young girls oogling hinm. |
Nalaria laughed slightly. "Exactky," she said. She let out a slight whimper when her took his arm from her grasp, but then she turned a bright red. Her gaze shot straight to the floor, hoping that he wouldn't notice. When they were at hot topic, her gaze lifted, the blush still slightly visible on her face. She glanced begins them, seeing all the beady eyes staring at Solomon. She let out a small growl before going into the store, dragging Solomon after her. She then began to go through different skinny jeans and tops. She found a few pairs of jeans and several tops. She would be able to last a week with four pairs of jeans and several tops, right? She then found a great jacket that had black stripes, several of the stripes being different colors. She then stared at Solomon. She didn't want to drain him of his money. But hey... He DID live in a mansion afterall.
|
Solomon hid around a corner, away from the front windows and entrance of the store. He couldn't help but smile as she moved around the store. When she saw the jacket he couldn't help but go over. He looked back and forth from the jacket to heer. "Now you can't expect me to see this and not get this for you. You would look phenominal in this...its just..you.."
He quickly scanned her mind for the size she would need and picked it up off the rack, "Don't worry about the price. I don't want you to pay me back or anything of the sort...this would've been covered partly by the insurabce if you had any." |
Nalaria smiled slightly. She put the one she was holding back on the rack, nodding. "What about all this?" She asked, holding up the other clothes, "I honestly wouldn't feel right I'd I didn't repay you."
((phail... Again... ;3; I'm kinda doing homework and just got done eating supper and I'm listening to music as well xD)) |
[[Its alright xD]]
Solomon smiled a bit, "Honestly, don't worry about it. Its no issue at all." he looked to the store front and sighed. "I almost don't want to go back out there." He then took the clothes from her with a smile, "Is there anything else you'd like or anywhere else you'd want to go?" |
Nalaria stared out front, giggling softly. "I'm good with what I've got," she said. She then skipped out of the store, waiting for Solomon to come out with the bag or two. She stares around at the other girls, shaking her head.
|
Solomon barely managed to step out of the store before a few girls managed to approach him. He gave them an irritated glare, sending them scurrying off. He shook his head a bit, grabbing Nalaria by the waist again and pulling her quite close. "What happened to my body guard? Hm?"
|
Nalaria stared at Solomon, laughing. "You didn't get swarmed," She said, "You scared them off with a glare. Unlike them, I'm not so easy to scare off." She smiled, hugging him around the waist slightly, staring at the other girls as if saying 'back off'. She then let go, taking the bags. "I can carry these," She said with a smile.
|
[[Didja get my pm/text about my pm?XD]]
Solomon furrowed his brow, "I would call that swarming..." He quickly, yet gently, swiped the bags from her hands with a charming smile, "But a gentleman would offer to carry them for you." He held both bags in one hand, with his other around her waist. "You know...I would not doubt..that when you go to school tomorrow...you will be bombarded with question about me." He winked at her, "No doubt." |
Nalaria let out a small sigh, then nodded. "Well no problem about questions," she said, "I'm sure to have answers." She then smiled.
|
Solomon rolled his eyes slightly, "Honestly, you make my games no fun at all. First you're completely unresponsive to one of the most powerful vampires you'll most likely ever meet being in your face digging deep into your past, and now you won't even humor me with any shred of dread? You insult me." He couldn't help but chuckled, "You make it difficult for me to entertain myself here."
|
Nalaria sighed. "Well sorry," She said, "I'm just not in the best of moods since the place where I lived ended up getting burned down." She sighed. "And I'm a boring person at first anyways," She said, "But anyways.... you know a bit about me. What about you? I know very little about you besides you being a vampire."
|
Solomon frowned, "I'm sorry about your apartment..." He stopped for a brief second, looking around. With a shrug he continued to walk, "Me? Well...where do I begin?" He held the door open for her and followed her after she was outside.
"Well I suppose I co-" Solomon suddenly stopped again, raising his hand, catching a dagger by it's handle. "That's just rude..." He looked at the dagger for a minute, then sighed, looking to Nalaria, "And here I was hoping you might perhaps have someone after you. Guess not." "You've gotten slow Solomon." The man casually put his hands back into his pockets, the rim of his hat covering his face. He raised his head slightly, violet eyes glowing softly, "Or are you just toying with me today?" |
Nalaria jumped slightly when a Solomon caught a dagger by it's handle. She looked around, stepping behind Solomon as a man talked to Solomon. She just stared at him from behind. "Solomon..." She said, "Who's he?"
|
"Him? A friend..of sorts.." He tossed the dagger back placing his hands in his pockets with a sigh. His weight shifted to one side, obviously bored and not interested in talking to him.
The man suddenly appearing behind Solomon and Nalaria, his hand gently lifted up a small lock of her hair, "And who's this lovely lady Solomon? Lunch? Or perhaps dinner?" Solomon whirled around, his eyes flashing red and a blast of telekinetic power sending the man sliding backwards, "Don't touch her." |
Nalaria let out a small squeal, the gravity around her body increasing slightly. She side stepped and was beside Solomon, then turned around. She watched as the man slid backwards after a blast of telekinetic power hit him. She blinked a few times, giggling softly. Yet she was still slightly freaked out, so the gravity around her was still increased slightly. It didnt harm her, but it would harm the people around her.
|
The man laughed softly, a sly grin on his face. He straightened out his jacket, placing his hands back into the pockets. "Oh, so that's how it is. I must applaud you Solomon, she is quite lovely."
Solomon narrowed his eyes, glancing to Nalaria, feeling the gravity change, "You know...you could tone it down a bit.." He managed to counter the change enough with his own little shield of telekinesis to balance out the air around him. "Now, Tenshin, why do I have the unfortunate pleasure of your company today?" The man frowned, "I'm sure you know why." His violet eyes looked to Nalaria again. "We've been after the half breed for quite some time you know, ever since she escaped. Took us a lot longer to find her than what we would've hoped, but, here she is nonetheless." He looked up, revealing his extremely pale, almost white skin, "Now, how shall we proceed?" |
Nalaria went wide eyed, shaking her head. "You're not gonna kill me," she said, "You remember what happened tothe others who tried chasing me down that day." She kept her gaze on Tenshin, her eyes darkening from pink to blood red. She obviously wasnt in the mood for a fight.
[[sorry for phail post. I'm in pain right now >.<]] |
[[/makes pain go away]]
Tenshin frowned, "Which is precisely why I have not simply tried to take you. I'm not an idiot. Your situation requires patience and strategy." He paused for a moment, fiddling with a dagger, "Now, you are very unique...I don't think killing you is the proper action to take. Perhaps, if you cooperate with me, I can get you a deal with the council." Solomon growled slightly. He very rarely broke his calm appearance, but this demon was getting on his nerves. "You're right on that fact, but you know that negotiation is impossible. Don't try to give her false hope on that. Either way, I can not allow you near her." He took a breath, his calm demeanor returning. "Now you can either walk away, or I can kick your ass once more." |
Nalaria shook her head. "I will never be a part of something that took my parents life!" She said with a growl, "The entire council wants me dead, so why would they make me an offer? You and your council can just stop chasing me and leave me alone! I haven't caused any trouble since I escaped. So just leave me be..." Her cheeks where red and her eyes were tearing up cause when she was arguing with someone, it always ended up making her cry. She didn't know why, but it just happened.
|
The man sighed "Very well then, I will just have to use force." He reached into his inside breast pocket to pull out his dagger, but paused, "You sure you want to do it this way? If you show them how reasonable you are, perhaps there would be some hope for you."
Solomon sighed, "I would really rather not fight you here, I do have an image to uphold...but...I cannot allow you to take her." He casually placed his hand sin his pockets, his eyes glowing a dark red. "If you just walk away, you might leave with all your limbs." |
Nalaria shook her head. "Like I said... Leave!" She stayed slightly hidden behind Solomon, glaring at the man. "Besides," She said, "You don't know how powerful I can get. That time I used my power over 70 years ago was just me at my weakest. Didn't even know I could use it. Sp I suggest you leave before you're turned to a bloody pile of limbs or shot into the sky straight to the sun!" She crossed her arms, letting out a huff.
[[I hope this isnt god mod talk... ^_^;; I just got to school and I'm still waking up...]] |
[[Nah its cool..I tend to get..carried away sometimes..xD So its all good]]
Tenshin leaned back on his heels slightly, "My dear, you have no idea what I myself am capable of." He stepped slightly to the sky as his hat suddenly flew off from his head. Long pointed ears protruded from the sides of his head, his long waist length hair becoming slightly ruffled from the blast of power. His almost pure white skin gave him a somewhat ghostly appearance. On the side of his face was a long, jagged black tattoo that came up to his cheek and went down his neck. "Oh Solomon, I thought you had better aim." Solomon sighed, looking to Nalaria, "Excuse me for a moment, would you?" He gave her a soft smile then vanished. He had not teleported, but rather he moved at such a speed, not even Nalaria's eyes could keep up. Tenshin would have no problem, but if he could get the man to move just as fast, then he wouldn't have to worry about the humans seeing anything. Some smacks were heard here, breaking bones heard there, a few things got knocked over or broken, but it would remain unexplained to the humans. After a few seconds, Solomon was sent crashing into Nalaria, while Tenshin was face down on the ground with his dagger in his back. With a grunt, the strange white skin man stood, "Are you holding out on me Solomon?" Solomon sat up, holding his head as the large gash began to heal, "Can you blame me? I mean, you really think I would let you hit me?" |
Nalaria couldn't keep up with the fight. All she heard was the sounds. Not before long, Solomon crashed into her. She screamed slightly, mixed with an "ah!" sound. She shook her head, then stared at Tenshin. "Fighting is a waste of time," she said in a soft voice, a slight growl slipping out from between her lips after she had said that.
[[phail post while playing pokemon xD]] |
Solomon chuckled slightly, "It is, but I've been quite bored lately." He gave her a wink, "Besides, he would've been dead if I really wanted him to. He'll give up on you sooner or later..he's done it so many times before."
Tenshin sighed, pulling the knife from his back with a soft growl, "Don't you even being to insult me like that Solomon. I'm not going to just walk the other way while that..abomination continues to live. I may have been civil before, but now I've had enough of this. You will hand her over to me now or I will be forced to take..drastic measures" |
Nalaria's expression went from plain to pissed when Tenshin called her an abomination, and she glared at him with dark red eyes. "Abomination, eh?" She said, "The only living abomination is you and the council. So we can make this easy by you leaving, or you can waste your time fighting. But you won't get me." She stayed close to Solomon, growling after she finished talking.
|
Tenshin quickly calmed himself, "Without the council there would be no order and the world would be thrown into chaos. You know that to be true, no matter how intensely you hate us." He charged again, his pale hand reaching to Nalaria while the knife went for Solomon's heart. His hand wrapped tightly around Nalaria's hand, an icy, deadening feeling zipping up her arm and through her body. It was a paralyzing method, very risky. Sometimes it failed, depending on how strong the other person was.
Solomon only managed to skirt the knife to the heart, but it ended up lodging itself deep in his lung. He did not use his lungs, so it bothered him none except that slight pinching slicing feeling. He was however, knocked back from the force. |
Nalaria winced at the deadening feeling go up her arm and through her body. She tried her hardest to stay standing, yet fell to her knees. Her eyes watered up slightly, yet went away after she blinked, and the gravity increased greatly around her. Sure she was weaker than Tenshin, yet she wasn't going to just give up. She soon began to stand back up, glaring at Tenshin. "Let. Me. Go." She said, her voice serious, eyes full of anger.
|
[[Sorry it took me so long..im really sick x.x]]
Tenshin struggled against the intense gravity, it was plainly seen in his pale, stressed face. "Cant..do that" He focused the feeling sending it to her brain to hopefully knock her out before he got crushed by the gravity. He wouldn't be able to hold for much longer, and after what seemed like ages, his hand was torn away from Nalaria's arm. Solomon grabbed onto Tenshin's shoulder, digging deep into his flesh, his eyes bright red. "I have had just about enough of you." He yanked the demon off of Nalaira with a slight growl. Very rarely had he ever gotten so..angry. He had intended to have a bit of fun with this, but now the fun was over. While he could not manipulated gravity like Nalaria, he could still do something along the same lines. With telekinesis being the manipulation of the air particles and how the behave. While it would be quite the show to make the man implode, he wasn't feeling so theatrical right now. Tenshin narrowed his eyes, feeling a slight pressure on his heart, "You wouldn't dare kill a member of the Council, Solomon..." |
Nalaria let out a small sound of pain. She then held her wrist and rubbed it after Solomon yanked Tenshin off of her. She shook her head, panting. Her eyes shot from Tenshin to Solomon, then back to Tenshin. "I killed a member of the council before I escaped and nothing has happened to me," She said, "You say that you could make them offer me a part in it. That's a lie. They want me dead." She stepped towards the two, her eyes darkening. "So let's see here," She said, "Leave us be and don't say a word about this.... or die."
[[don't worry about it. I was starting to worry, though. I hope you get better soon. D= I've been having a stuffy head.... barely able to breath. [[Tell me about it..x.x I couldnt even get my ass outta bed for class in the morning Dx night class i was good for though
xD]] Solomon tilted his head slightly to the side, "You obviously don't know me that well. Why do you think they never come after me for my...antics?" Without indication, Tenshin's skin became oddly flushed over his entire body as the blood vessels exploded from the increased pressure Solomon generated. It was apparent that Tenshin was in incredible pain, but he would not make a sound. His eyes were clenched shut, and his whole body shook. Eventually he mustered enough strength and asked Solomon to stop. The effect was not immediate, due to the face his vessels needed to heal, but after a few moments, his skin returned to it's almost pure white color. "For now, I will take my leave. I will be back Solomon, I guarantee it." With that, he vanished. Solomon sighed, putting a hand to his head and leaning on the closest object, Nalaria. If it came down to it, he could've hurt him self quite severely. He had used a lot of power earlier today from teleporting around town. He was surprised he had any to spare on Tenshin. |
Nalaria looked away when the blood vessels exploded inside Tenshin. Moments later, Solomon was leanin against her. She stared at him, helping him keep steady. "you need to rest," she said, "You've used a lot of energy today already. Not good for a vampire."
[[blargh. Phail. Post. And wow. O.o Hey... Think you can sell me 100 runes? I promise I'll pay you back when I can!]] |
[[Yeha it was bad. I was like..knocked on my ass at every moment of the day. It was ssoooooo hard to even make energy to freaking blink x.x

I've plenty to not be in mortal danger, but still enough has been lost I guess." He rubbed his temples with a sigh, standing up after a moment. "I..have a favor to ask of you. I'm in no mood nor condition to do a proper hunt. Would be so kind and find a human for me? I can use minimal power to keep the other humans oblivious to what's going on if you can knock him or her out." |
[[I must have those japan items before they leve trisphee! ;A; so.. Purdy...]]
Nalaria thought for a moment. "I'm sure Yuki wouldn't mind," she said, "I've fed from her once before. I think if I talk to her about it, I can bring her to your place without having to knock her out." |
He nodded, "That would also work..." He took a moment before gathering up her bags and holding his hand out for her to take, "Shall we be off then?"
