Charlotte watched Mizuki in awe. She smiled as he stood next to her. She had finally met someone who was as good as her. She placed her hand on Mizuki's arm. She whispered to him, "Why didn't you tell me that you sang this morning when we were talking?"

He turned his head slightly to her "Because I was never asked" He said simply with the tinyest of shrugs. Soon the teacher went through everyone and everyone was placed and he spoke "Now...remember your places" He said "Tomorrow when I enter I expect you all to be standing where you are now so we can start right away" As soon as he was finished the bell rang

Charlotte opened her mouth then shut it. She turned on her heel and walked out of the room. She walked into band and quickly grabbed her oboe out of the locker. She grabbed the reed and stuck it into her mouth trying to figure out Mizuki.

He left and headed to the art room. Finally a place to be at peace. The teacher stood there infront of everyone and began to explaine the end project. It was to be a full year piece. He had no idea yet as to what he would do. All he knew was that it was going to be a painting.

Charlotte sat next to Becky during band. Both sat in silence sucking on the reed trying to wet them. They knew that they would be against each other for the chair tests and they were both getting ready. Char quickly put her oboe together and started warming up. During the chair test Becky started going flat on the B flat scale. Charlotte started smiling knowing that she got the first chair. Mr. Conte passed out their first sheet piece and then the bell rang. She walked out and started wandering towards her locker talking with Becky.

Mizuki gathered everything that he would need from his locker and closed it locking it behind him. Soon he began walking down the hallway to see Charlotte standing there talking with another female. As Mizuki walked past he nodded his head once "May a good evening fallow you and a good morning grace you" He said before he left the school and went home for the evening tomorrow it began all over.

Becky hit Charlotte lightly on the shoulder. "He talked to you! I heard that he hasn't been talking to anyone! Melanie tried to talk to him during bio today and he flat out ignored her. I mean come on what did you do? How come you're the only one that he wants to talk with? You always get the great guys. I mean come on, he's sexy! And Seth is basically begging you to get back together with him!"
Charlotte rolled her eyes at Becky. "It's not like we're dating or anything, Mizuki and I are just friends. It's not my fault that he finds me interesting." Charlotte flashed her a grin. "And as to Seth, that boy is like a little whiny puppy! I mean yes we had a bit of a thing over summer, but come on, you know how those things never work out during school. He's busy with football, and I have choir and band. It just wouldn't work." She bit on her lip and Becky started laughing. "I know it Char! You like that new guy, Mizu.... whatever his name is. That's why you were ignoring Seth." Becky looked at her, "He's a bit tall for you, but I could see it." Charlotte gaped at Becky, "I cannot believe that you just said that!" They left the school with their heads together trying to figure out what she should do next. |
The next day came to quick to him as he walked into his math class and took a seat. He began to grab everything out of his bag and placed it all on the desk infront of him. Mizuki flipped through his work that needed to be done for the next week. It was all finished.

Charlotte walked into math class yawning. She sat down next to Mizuki and smiled at him. "I hope your day is going better than mine has."

Mizuki looked to her with a quizzical look "How could your day be bad when it has all but merely begun?" He asked with a little tilt of his head.

"Hmmmm, where to start. First, slept through my alarm, missed my ride, had to walk here, and had to skip breakfast and on the way here I got soaked. So, now I'm wearing my extra pair of clothes that I keep in my locker. And it's just not a good day." She said that in a rush putting her bag down on the floor and collapsing into her chair.

He looked at her and tilted his head a little "Oh...well that is the begining of a bad day" He stated to her. "But...it can only get better from here" He said with a nod of his head

Charlotte looked at him, "Well, I guess so. I had never thought of it that way. Thank you." She quickly grabbed out her math work and started on the work for the day.

Mizuki turned back and started on the problems on the bored. Again when they where done he gathered his things and stood walking to the front of the class. He handed the teacher todays work as well as the notebook work for the next week. Mizuki then turned looked to Charlotte and nodded his head once before he left.

Charlotte watched Mizuki stand up. Then she looked over at Becky sitting next to her. Becky motioned for her to hurry up. She quickly finished the last problem and stood up and turned in her papers. "Thanks Mr. Woodcock, have a nice day." And with that she walked out the door trying to find Mizuki.

Mizuki was standing just outside the door waiting for her "I knew you would not be far behind" He said as he pushed off of the wall and stood infront of her with his arms crossed he then turned and began to walk down the hallway.

Charlotte gasped when Mizuki started to talk to her. She followed him down the hall. "So where are we going to go today to talk?"

Mizuki looked to her and gave a little shrug "Im not to sure" He stated glancing outside. "We do have 45 minutes until our next class" He stated looking to her "Perhaps we take a gander outside?"

Charlotte and Mizuki started to walk out to the courtyard. They sat down underneath the tree there. "So what do you want to talk about?"

He looked to her with a little tilt of his head "I am not intierly sure" He sad to her "Why dont you start the conversation"

"I'm not very good at starting conversations..." She trailed off. "Tell me a bit about Japan. I've never left the states before."
|
Mizuki looked to her "Well...What is there to tell." He said before looking off into the distance "The skys are the bluest blew and the grass is the greenest of greens" He sighed "The forest goes on forever and the animals are kind and loving" He said. "The trees blossem even in frost and the festivals are something to charish"

"You make it sound so perfect... I've just lived here my entire life." Charlotte smiled at Mizuki. "So what was your favorite part about living there?"

Mizuki looked to her "everything" was all he said in an almost sad tone
|
Charlotte looked at Mizuki sadly. "I'm sorry that you feel this way. But maybe someday you'll feel the way about here."

Mizuki looked to her "I hardly doubt that will happen" He said to her as the bell rang in the background "We should get to class "he said to her as he stood and reached a hand down to help her up.

Charlotte looked up at Mizuki and placed her hand in his, letting him pull her up.

Mizuki pulled her up with ease making sure she was flat on her feet. His hand stayed in hers for a moment before he released it. "Well...shall we?" He asked and motioned for her to start walking towards the gym.

As soon as Mizuki took his hand away, Charlotte felt her hand tingling. She looked down to hide her blush. She was walking a bit slower than Mizuki and he turned to see what was wrong. She quickly sped up to walk with him to gym.

Mizuki gave a mentle smile when he saw her blush and hide her face. ...how cute he thought then shook his head. The last thing he needed right now is to fall for a girl...

Charlotte walked into gym kicking herself. She barely even knew this guy, and yet she felt her heart race when their hands touched. It made no sense. She sped into the girl's locker room to get some space.

Mizuki watched her run off to the locker room and gave a frown. Maybe she didnt care for him as much as he thought. Mizuki went off to the locker room and changed efore going out and seeing what was instore for him today.

Becky watched Charlotte sped into the locker room. "Well? Did you guys have a good talk? Please just tell me everything!" Becky started giggling.
Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Nothing happened. He held my hand when he was helping me up and I felt something, but then he dropped my hand like it was a snake or something.... I don't know Becky, it's just, I don't think that he's into me at all." She looked sad as she walked back out after changing. |
During the entire class Mizuki watched Charlotte. She was ery interesting to him. He couldnt affored someone right now to find out his secret. "Im sorry" He muttered under his breath as he watched her before turning off and joining in the game of basket ball that has already been going for while.

Charlotte saw Mizuki watching her during the class. Becky and Michelle were watching her as well. Becky spoke up before Michelle did, "Well, Char, what are you going to do about Mizuki? I mean he's so cute! If you don't do anything someone else will." Becky peeked around Charlotte and Michelle to glance at Mizuki.
Charlotte gaped at Becky. She hit her lightly on the shoulder. "Becky!! You know how I feel about Mizuki!" Becky just smiled. "Well, if he doesn't like you, then I'll try." Michelle and Charlotte rolled their eyes and looked at Becky like she was crazy. Charlotte looked over to see Mizuki playing basketball. She smiled softly at him. |
Soon the class was finished and he was changing with the other men in the room. He was listening to them banter ab out girls and sex and who wants to "bang" who. He shook his head in discust and grabbed his bags and left.

Charlotte walked out of gym with Becky and Michelle hoping to see Mizuki. Instead Seth was standing outside the girl's locker room door. "Hey Becky, Michelle. I need to talk to Charlotte alone for a minute okay?" He grabbed Charlotte's arm and walked in the other direction.

Mizuki walked out of the room just as he saw another male grab Charlottes arm. His anger began to rise. No one should grab a female in that manner. Mizuki walked over to where they had stopped and looked towards the male "Pardon my butting in as you would say...but no male has a right to place his hands on a female in a disrespectfull manner" Mizuki said looking to him "I do believe that you owe the lady an apology"

Charlotte watched Mizuki walk over to where Seth had dragged her grateful for an intervention. When Mizuki started to talk to Seth he let Charlotte go and she started to rub her arm where Seth had held her. Seth turned to Mizuki, "What's your problem dude? Don't you know that Charlotte and I are together, nobody wants you here."
Charlotte shot a scared look over to Mizuki and said quietly, "We are not together Seth." |
Mizuki at that point looked to charlotte then back to him "Is it just me or is your brain so insignificantly small that you can not take no for an answer" He said with a little tilt of his head "It is obvious that the lady wishes you to no longer be in her pressance" He said with a little smirk o his lips.
