I rarely donate/throw money at sites....I've done it one three different websites. One of which I rarely get on....and when I do, it isn't for the forums or the avatars.

(Galla really does love stickers, and Undertale)

Trisphee WAS bigger at one point, it's true, but avatar sites as a whole were bigger back then. I would say proportional to the overall public interest in the genre we've been pretty stable. And we're on a pretty nice growth pattern right now too -- slow and steady, not looking like a bubble, picking up new users slightly faster than the attrition rate.

Trisphee was bigger at one point...I remember a masquerade ball type event....or something....there was a lot of posting back then, I kind of miss it .-. But, eh, things happen XD

Sadly I wasn't on Trisphee when it was bigger(I just joined a few months ago D: ) But I like it here, nonetheless. ^^ It's not overwhelming like Gaia(though I do frequent that place too ;w; )

Gaia is/used to be my main place? I'm more on recolor now .-.

I'm gonna say this pixiebuns....Voltra wasn't just a website failed. It was incompetent management that let this happen. ONLY one admin had access to the coding and the like? That is someone being an idiot. Especially when said admin was supposed to step down at the end of october? Why would you leave that person as the only one with the code? Why doesn't anyone else have access to the domain thing? Only the owner should have that. Or owners.

So if I was Panda, I'd want my money back too. It didn't go to the website....and the website didn't fail. It wasn't like, say, the older version of solia where it wasn't paying for itself. The website got shut down because of piss poor management (in dealing with staff and basic things)....and because of an asshole, which that second half wouldn't have happened without the first one.

Edit: I liked the website, mind you, but I don't expect it to come back, and if it does? I expect it to be like Fork, going down eventually anyway like Elidiun did. But, either way, we'll see.

It's not okay to show up just to call people out. What happened on Voltra, or where ever else, happened where it did. Talking about site occurrences, sure. You can talk about whatever sites you want here, for whatever reason.

But don't insult specific users, no matter how justified you feel in doing that. (More generally, people shouldn't be publicly called out for any reason except to defend against things they are saying themselves, I think.)

Ugh, somebody please don't tell me people like this are going to be on Trisphee? I really don't want drama from Syndrome and Voltra migrating to places I actually love.

I think Voltra is great. Just my opinion. It isn't exactly like Syndrone, it has a lot of similarities, but the staff and owner doesn't want the site to die, and a good size of the community also wants to see it flourish.

Voltra was looking pretty good to me originally. Sad to see it go in the direction that it did, but I hope they can get it to flourish. I just don't want the drama and from what I've read on their Facebook and the screenshots (and the post here in this thread by pixiebuns), I've lost interest in the site. However, I wish them all the best.

Edit; Also, putting a users (I'm going to assume is) real name on public like they did seems highly unprofessional. Heck, that would actually be against my own Privacy Policy. Did Voltra violate their own privacy? :\

That's true. I once had a user two years ago accuse me of stealing Menewsha's avatar bases even though mine looked nothing like theirs. Luckily, that was the extent of my drama on those forums, lol.
