*sneaks in and steals all the matcha mochi* mmmm....of all that i've tasted, those are my favorites, plain or the ice cream ones. only problem with the regular mochi is they tend to get stale and hard after a few days :( means i have to eat them within a day (or two max) after opening a package. i have the special flour you use to make them, but haven't tried making any yet.

idk about the bread. we always keep ours in the fridge regardless, cause my sister has a bad cat that would chew a hole in the bag and then nom on the bread inside. weirdo brat cat...
and really? i guess it just gets too humid and/or dry here that it causes the mochi to get stale and gross :( |
do you keep the moisture packet thingies in the box of mochi? o3o thats suppose to help keep moisture out and keep them from going stale faster.. o3o I also keep them in the plastic when I'm not eating them.. .3.

My family buys rye bread (which my sis hates and is meh for me) and keeps it on the counter for five days or so, then it gets tossed in the freezer. Then after a day or two it tastes like how baking soda smells.

wow...that's a new one on me. allergic to honey. and i think most bread companies are realizing that people don't want hfcs in their bread, so they switched to cane sugar or honey.
as for mochi, it's got an interesting texture. a lot of folks like it, others are weirded out by it xD |

I'm not allergic to honey, but it really doesn't agree with me. My dad used to yell at me because I refused to eat it. Didn't bother me so much when Mom cooked with it. But then, I'm the same way with milk. If it's cooked, it's okay.

.hack//GU is getting remastered for the PS4 (and pc for those pc gamers >->,) and FF7 Remake is supposedly coming out this year too.. I gotta save up for those.. A friend is getting me World of Final Fantasy ovo it'll be the EU version though.. hope it plays xD I need to get the DLC for Neir:Automata ono I WANT THAT COLISEUM ACCESS!!! D:< -not a fan of the outfits though- I should play more of Tales of Berseria =w=, and Disgaea 5... I wish I had a secondary tv or a monitor that i could hook the ps4 up to =w=, Mom needs to be out here with me so i can keep an eye on her, its easier to have her watch tv and my PC doesn't have hdmi hookups =o= that and i wouldn't be able to chat on discord if I use remote play (remote play breaks discord apparently) and i can't stream with remote play =o= my pc doesn't like OBS... I NEED A NEW PC >:o |
You know what Japanese fast food I really wish was sold here? Those rice cakes with the seaweed wrappers and the yummy filling. I've seen them on 'Emmy Eats', and they look so tasty.

Oh yes, the FF7 remake -- hopefully my last back pay disbursement will coincide with the release of that. So far the only thing I've played on our PS4 is the Batman: Arkham Knight game, and only so I could use the Harley Quinn free substory, and I can only die in two minutes so many times before totally losing heart. So I mostly watch when my daughter plays.
