14 Just rereleased just this past summer and you do have all their jobs to level up to 50 so you have that for you and all your crafts can be leveled up. You even level up harvesting and mining as well so you have those as well. They might raise the level cap but I haven't read anything about it yet.
He's 11 now. He's my big boy and still acts like a kitten at times. He surly does not act his age though haha. Yesterday was a bad day. I got new glasses in the mail and I'm trying to get my eyes used to them. Odd thing is, is that these are the same prescription as my other ones, got a second pair in case something happened to the ones I use all the time but they are casing headaches. I can't tell if it's something off with the lenses or if it's because these are metal frames and my body is having some kind of reaction to the metal frames. >.> Ugh I hate not knowing what is going on. I can see but get headaches. |

Hmm. Well at least you get to level up a bunch of stuff. xD I always found the ability to level up the current job you were in was pretty fun~ Hopefully they do increase the cap because even with all the other level stuff, the main level should be pretty high. The best kind of level cap I've found is 255 for me. XD (which is in star ocean games, but sadly levels don't do much, mainly it's your equipment and skills) Aw. XD Well I think most people don't act their age so it works out. XD Aw. :c New Glasses can be meh. I got some new ones a while ago and I didn't really like them. I'm still using my old ones. 14 had a lot of issues when it first came out. And they closed the game down to fix everything. And when it was rereleased they had everything fixed. Like a marketplace to sell your stuff instead of only bazarras like the first one did. They are releasing two new summons for summoners and 2 new classes as well. Sweet! Not sure when they are coming but they are and that is all that matters to me.
I think it was the protective coating I got for them. That is the only change from the ones I usually wore and after awhile they are ok now on my eyes. The coating caused headaches for me but I got my eyes used to them instead. I kinda have to wear them. I have an Astigmatism in both eyes and I'm near/far sighted in one of them. I forget which one it is. My eyes ... well I go blind without wearing glasses lol. |
Ah. /: That sucks. You'd think they'd test it out thoroughly before putting it out for people to spend on. OR they wanted to get it out because they wanted money as fast as possible and didn't care for 'little glitches' that actually turned out to be a big problem. XP
Sounds pretty awesome. XD I can't imagine summoning in an MMOrpg, but I'd think it's really good for level gaining, if you're able to kill mass groups of enemies with a single summon. XD Ahh. Thankfully you found out what was causing the problem xD I've never heard of protective coating for glassses o.o or is it not protective and it's just for your eyes/sight? Ah. :c I sorry. That sucks. I don't think they realized what having no auction house would of done to people. It was completely new for them and they did try but people couldn't handle having to spend hours searching bazarrs for an item they wanted for crafting or whatever. But at least they tried.
Summoning is pretty cool. In 11 their summoning was different and the summons looked different from one another, they looked like the avatars when you fought them to get them but in 14 they look like mini ones and they pretty much look the same but at least the fights are easier solo though so that is the positive that I care about. Too bad the primal fights, ones you need help with are the hardest and you would rather quit than keep trying with new parties lol. The coating is to make it easier to clean them and protect them from scratches. Don't know why that caused an headache but my eyes are kinda retarded so I can't be too surprised by it. >.> |

Well for 14 they are part of the storyline quests. So you have to fight them in order to continue on the story of the game. But for summoner to get them you fight them solo. And I did 3 fights so far, they are rather easy to do. Fun too. Well the avatar fights are fun that is. Today is one of my recovery days and my brain is about to explode. >.> Everything going on at once is getting too much for me lol. |

Well if you want to accel in ranks for the game you have to follow the storyline. Like for the country you are allied with you can get points for fights and get a higher rank and get special armor and weapons that you can't get any other way. And if you want to get the avatars you have to do the storyline in the game or else you don't get the quests to open up which will block your quest line for summoner too. I hope that makes sense lol. You can easily do the fights alone. As summoner you do get a healing spell for yourself only so that is good and you can heal your summon that is fighting for you. And you can cast spells on things while your avatar is working on the main guy while you do the addons that come in here and there during the battle. It's rather easy but sounds hard though. I watched a video on two of them and they were so darn easy to watch. For your job quests you can not have anyone come with you. They are made for all solo work. Not even an option for others to come in either. You go into a seperate battlefield for some of the quests. I'm stuck on blackmage level 15 one but I read how to do it and now it's easy as heck lol. I plan on getting ready for bed in a bit too. Sorry I'm not on that long tonight. I won't be doing laundry tomorrow so I won't be out of it as much or overwhelmed either. |

Vincent- Ya it kinda does. I really have to get Garuda fought so I can get her beaten for my summoner and then I can get my evokers body armor when I hit 50. Oh we are getting two new classes and two new summons for me WooT!! No idea when but knowing I'll get it, I am good with that much hehe. Having a healing spell for only your summoner is really nice. This way you can do dps instead of being forced to be the stupid whm in the parties. In 11 summoners were always forced and only got parties to be healer and never to be a dps person. Rather annoying and pissed alot of us off. If I wanted to heal, I would level my whitemage up lol. I got decent sleep but tired right now because I had an anxiety attack, rather annoying though. They have those of course. Just in 14 we don't have all the summons yet. The game is not a year old yet so we are slowly getting them all. I have Ifrit and Titan and Carby of course.
DPS is the damage dealer in the party. Like black mages. Paladins have healing spells to keep hate on them but white mage and summoner get them as well for ourselves and white mage for others. But in MMO's other jobs are expected to be healers. Like in World of Warcraft there is priest and druids to do healing and shamans too. In FF 11 summoners were easier to find since there were to many of them compared to the whm. I had one party that I was summoner and we had a white mage... But I was only healing haha ... So sad ; ; I'm slowly getting better. I'm gonna ignore how I feel to get more stuff done or else I'm just staring at tv all day long. Trying to work out my time though. So much to do and no time lol. |

Paladins are the tanks so they have to have hate on them to keep the monsters only on them so the others don't die in battle. Like the mages.

How do they go about getting the 'hate' built up again? Still, I like paladins. I believe they're the easiest class to go solo with. o.o Can fight and heal themself~ |
They have different abilities to keep hate. Like provoke to get the monsters attention on them, heals and some other stuff just to keep the eyes on them and only them. It does work. If you know what you are doing that is.

I do like a warrior that can heal though. And I randomly level up a healer to heal random people just for the hell of it. XP I find it fun to help others, too~ Nothing can beat a good rogue with high Eva/Hit/Crit chance, though. |
I agree, sadly we don't have a rogue type class yet. We might be getting it with the new additions but no one knows a thing.

Thieves? I mean normally final fantasy, with the ability to select a job, have some sort of class around there... It would be really interesting to be a Dragoon... A monk happens to be a really good fighter, as well. And also seems to have a way of healing themself... |
They don't have a class like theives yet. But I'm thinking the second class they are gonna bring out might have be something like it.
I haven't unlocked dragoon yet but I heard it's supposed to be a awesome job but hard to level. Not sure why. And monks could heal themselves in 11 but I haven't seen anything like that in 14 yet. |

14 classes are alot different than other games. There are alot of changes to each class and they don't have everything that other games had including 11. So I don't really know what the full differences are for monk. I got to level 8 and I still plan on going back to it.

They might of wanted to change things up from what they have done before. 11 and 14 are way different from one another and I rather like it. There are more positives in 14 than in 11 and things are nicer and easier to do as well. So they might of done the changes to go along with that.
I love monk. The war class is hard as hell, easy to die and I forgot lancer which goes to dragoon. |

11 is supposed to be up for a few more years and they are still working on adding content to it still for the players.
