Heading up the dirt path, walking along with Tanner. The wolf looked over some to the teen. "And you? Anything you would like to share?" he asked him. "What would you like to know?" He rubbed his hands together. Trying not to smile at how the Nikko's ears twitched upon the top of his head, like a radar.

Hold his arm out in front of the teen, as his eyes narrowed some at the sight. Yes his two children knew how to fend for them selves it was something he taught them in case they where ever in trouble. A glow growl left his throat, the smell was something he couldn't recognize at all as well. "Stay be hind me..." he told Tanner. I am the manry-est of men! |
Eyes widening, Tanner did as he was told and slid behind Nikko. He had to admit that the growl had frightened him a little. It was the curiosity of what the man was growling at that scared him more though, "What is it?" He asked quietly.

"There is someone here and I don't know them. The scent is not of anyone I know." as he narrowed his eyes as bit of change was taking place his nails grew out as he became a little more wolf like in some ways. Quickly taking off running to who ever was near his home, I am the manry-est of men! |
"N-Nikko, wait!" Tanner called after him, raising a hand as if to try and bring him back. His grey eyes looked at his surroundings for a moment and then he wrapped his arms around himself, wishing he'd brought a thicker hoodie. Hesitantly he made his way after Nikko.

The person who was lurking about with in area heard the owner coming and quickly took off. Nikko on the other hand gave chase following the stranger into the woods leaving behind his coat and bag as he felt it was slowing him down. With a thud the book bag and jacket hit the ground. Picking up the bag and Jacket, Tanner held them. The coat felt warm on his arm, the urge to hug it to him and push away the cold was strong, but he didn't. The bag he slipped on his shoulder. Who had been lurking around Nikko's home and why?

After a while the taller male returned his jaw clenched as he was not able to catch who was lurking about near his home. Returning over to where Tanner was, "Are you alright? No one came around here near you did they?" he asked wanting to make sure the youth was alright. I am the manry-est of men! |
"I-I'm okay. No one came near me either. Are you? Okay, I mean?" Tanner knew the other was pissed that he hadn't caught whoever the man was. He held out the Jacket and pulled the bag from his shoulder to hand it to Nikko. "And here, I didn't want them to just lay on the ground. I'm sorry you didn't catch him."

"I am fine, but I am also glad you are well." as he took the jacket placed it around the teens shoulders then looked around some as he was able to in away unclench his jaw. "It will be fine, I know what they smell like so if they come around again I will be ready for then. Come let's go in side." I am the manry-est of men! |
Tanner ducked his head, his face burning at Nikko's actions and words. He nodded slowly, still trying to hide his face and let the blush go away as he followed. If Riley were more like this..maybe. Tanner pushed the thought away, walking into the house after Nikko.

Once in side, Nikko looked around seeing everything was alright. Meaning that who was there was just watching his home had not entered. "Boys?" he called out waiting a moment. After a quiet pause a set of running foot steps could be heard. "Dad, dad, are you okay?" came a voice, rounding the corner was teen that looked like Nikko almost but with purple eyes then another. "Ace was starting to worry..." the other teen crossed his arms across his chest looking to the side. The taller male, nodded some. "I am fine, we have a guest." as he gestured to Tanner. The twins looked at him, "Whoa where did you come from? And are you new around here?" it was rare they saw another teen. I am the manry-est of men! |
Being the center of attention suddenly, the teen didn't really know what to do but wave a little. "I guess you could say that I'm new. I lived a little ways away from here in an apartment with my..roommate for a while." He replied, looking down at his feet and then back up at the boys. They really did look like their dad.

"This awesome~!" Ace grew excited as he reached over taking a hold of Tanner's arm. "You live with a roommate, that sounds pretty cool. I share a room with Demetri." he said as his twin nudge him. "okay Ace, quit trying to take all his attention, I wanna know who the kid is as well." as the other walked over wanting to talk as well. Nikko looked at them all smiled as he turned and walked away heading into another room. I am the manry-est of men! |
Tanner smiled at Ace when he took hold of his arm. The teen seemed extremely excited to see him as did Demetri who was now just as close. He looked up to see Nikko walking out of the room and turned his attention back to the teens."It was pretty cool. I enjoyed the most of it while it lasted." All good things must come to an end eventually, "I hope you both don't mind me staying here for a bit until I can find myself another place..."

"No way, that means someone new to talk to. We come here every winter and see no one so, we say welcome and stay as long as you like!" Ace rambled on. "Dad say that people come into others lives to met new people or learn new experiences or just to have a moment to start over." as he pulled him along. Demetri followed suite, "Grandpa says, that people show up cause something brought them to another person." the other said. Ace didn't answer him since he didn't stay with the man. "I guess? But ummm so how long have you lived here? How did you come across dad?" I am the manry-est of men! |
"Thank you.."Tanner let himself be pulled along, listening to the boys talk. In truth, starting over did sound nice and he was learning new things. Demetri's words had Tanner looking the way Nikko had gone. Had what happened between Riley and him really brought them together? He shook his head. 'I shouldn't be thinking about something like that.' He thought, biting his lip. "I lived in the next town over before Riley and me moved in together." His hand reached down to touch the ring in his pocket that Riley had given him a week ago. "I uh..had a fight with my roommate and the cafe your dad was at was just down the road. I needed something to calm my nerves and warm me, so I went in to get some hot chocolate and Nikko paid for it, seeing that I was a little distressed. We ended up talking and.." Tanner raised his arm that wasn't being held,up in the air and gestured to himself. "here I am."

Ace nodded some, it was something he knew his father did, kindness all the time. "I'm glad he did, cause this great to see someone else. Demetri and I never knew why we couldn't find other teens around but it cool, cause your here now." Demetri nodded some as they walked through the house headed into the kitchen. "Where thinking of making lunch what would you like?" Demetri asked. I am the manry-est of men! |
"I'm glad. He told me that you would both be excited to see another teen. It would be nice to have some friends finally.." Tanner rubbed the back of his head, "N-Not that I don't have other friends." He smiled sheepishly and then frowned, deciding to change the subject. Looking to Demetri he said, "What are you guys eating? I'll take anything really. I'm not picky."

"Okay well thinking of making some pizza, and taco's cause well we where training so we plan on making bunch. Would you mind asking dad if he wants anything other then what we said." Demetri asked him. As Ace let go nodding some to get some of the stuff ready. "He should be down the hall in library." as the both went to get started on the food. I am the manry-est of men! |
"Pizza sounds good. Taco's too." His stomach was hurting and he hadn't really had anything other than the hot chocolate. "Down the hall..to the library.." Following directions, he made his way down the hall and soon found the library. "Nikko, Ace and Demetri would like to know if you'd like to eat Pizza and Taco's with us or something different?" He asked from the doorway.

The man looked over some, blinking. "Is that they are making? If sounds fine..." as he looked away walked across the room. "Sorry they both hardly do much here, but back home they are getting into all sorts of trouble, I wish I could give them more missions but they are limited to the skill level they both are at. But they past the time by bring home friends or dates now and then." as he placed a book back on self. "Care to come in? Or will you be helping them?" I am the manry-est of men! |
"I would like to.." He looked around the library at the many books, wanting desperately to run his hands over their spines. He'd never admit it but he was a bit weird when it came to books,especially old ones. "Don't they need to know that you're okay with what they are making though?" He laughed a little, nodding his head back toward the kitchen. "Also..mission's?" They were teen's, why would they be doing missions?

"No your adding to much flour, Ace!" Demetri yelled as he was busy making the other meal. "No I am not, your not adding enough seasoning!" he yelled back as they started argue over the meals they where making. Nikko watched as Tanner left, "not really they are aware I am fine with whatever they make." as looked away. "Where not a normal family after." I am the manry-est of men! |
"Your dad's alright with pizza and taco's.." Tanner interrupted, crossing his arms over his chest as he perked a brow. "Are you two okay? Do you need help?" He walked over in between them, looking at what they had so far.

The both looked at him nodded some. "Yeah we got it, so you can hang out with dad, we do this a bit and it can get a bit out of hand so it cool if you just not hang out here." as Ace glared at his twin then went back to making what he was working on. Demetri narrowed his eyes as he went back to do what he was working on as well. I am the manry-est of men! |
"Just..don't kill each other." His tone was playful as he nodded, walking back to the library. I'm not a very good cook anyway, he thought, pouting a little. "Apparently they don't need my help.." A sigh left his mouth as he made his way into the room with Nikko, his arms still crossed. Were they literally trying to making him go see their dad?

The twins looked at him at the same time said. "No worries we just have a way of doing our own things, also we think you wanna talk with dad a little more since he is the one who brought you here." Nikko was leaned against the desk flipping a few pages of the book. Not noticing that the other had returned, flipping a page he reached back taking the pen to write something down. I am the manry-est of men! |
Tanner would not admit that what the boys had just done was not only a little weird but cool as well. Twin's were interesting.He stood their, half way in the room for a few seconds before he decided to clear his throat. "Ace and Demetri got it all. They told me to come in here and that they would be alright basically." He smiled.

The wolf looked over some smiled a little nodding his head. "I see, well they both are like that at time. Also don't mind how they are, they are trying to adjust to the fact there is some here there age so you can say they are in shock have no idea how to react to it." as he placed the book down. "if you want, you can look around and read what ever catches your fancy." pushing of his desk to walk across the room. "Sorry I'm a pretty boring person." I am the manry-est of men! |
"Your not boring Nikko." Tanner told him as he began to walk around the room. He was looking at the books on the shelves, sliding his hands over the spines like he'd wanted to do earlier. "I bet you like to read as much as you like your tea." He joked, pulling one off the shelf and flipping through the pages slowly.

"Well if you been around as long as I have and lived like I did. Book become your friends, and only other thing to keep you sane perhaps safe at times." as he moved over to the fire place looked up to the panting that hung over it. The painting had a women in with long sandy brown hair blue eyes, She had a lovely smile across her face was dressed in formal white gown, at that moment Nikko looked a little lost. "Tea is something my mother loved when I was younger so I happen to love it as much as her." I am the manry-est of men! |
Tanner placed the book back on its shelf, walking over to where Nikko stood staring at the painting above the mantelpiece. The woman was beautiful and looked kind of familiar. Was this her? His mother? Turning his head, Tanner frowned a little, seeing the look on Nikko's face. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to upset you if I did." He whispered.

"No not really, I hardly get upset any more about things. I just learn pass it by in away, its how I always have been. The women in the panting is not my mother, she has some looks of her but no. She is Ace and Demetri's mother." as he looked down reaching over to grab the fire pitch poker to check on the fire. I am the manry-est of men! |
So that's why she looked kind of familiar. He watched Nikko poke at the fire and found a chair close by, sitting down. "Your boys are just as beautiful as you and your wife, Mr.Gallarado." He said, putting his hands in his lap.

"Do you think so? I feel rather bad they never got to know her, all they really have of her just the painting. I never got much from her after her passing." as he place the item back on the stand. "You can read and look at whatever you wish. If you like you can wonder the house and see what room you would like to sleep in." he said to him. I am the manry-est of men! |
Tanner shifted in his chair, "I do think so." Clicking his feet together, the teen pursed his lips. "You still have your boys and from the looks of it, they've turned out wonderful." He looked down at his hands and then to the door leading out into the hall. "Um, about that. Thank you again for letting me stay here." His gray eyes strayed to the fire. Pick a room? "How many room's are their?

"Only three rooms are taken with in here we have about eight. So you can pick one, no need to thank me, everyone needs time to think and change and do what they feel is right cause if not. You would always be stuck in loop of the same thing happening to you. In the end you will look back ask your self, what have I done all this time, to not have learn anything new." he explained to Tanner. "So enjoy the time, cause sooner or later you will go back to that life." I am the manry-est of men! |
"Why say something like that? Do you really think that I would honestly go back to that?" He was frowning once again. Not really sure how to take Nikko's words as he stood.
