I loved what I did I'm just sad I don't do it anymore. I can't really do it now because I gotta pay for school/gas/adult responsibilities. Really wish I could though it was so fun mixing oils and creating new things.

i am not really fit to do anything else so i am doing what i wanted to do which is create, i just wish people liked my stuff a little more X''D not quite good enough, open a week and only one item sold even with lots of promotion

Thats still really good :3 with a lot of promotion I never sold anything for the 5 weeks I was on etsy. It wasn't until like 6 weeks after I sold my first thing. You're doing great so far :s-excited: keep your head up and stay positive :3

on a related note, do you have any pictures of what you used to sell?

Mmm that wouldn't hurt as long as you don't make too much and put yourself in too much more debt, but its true what they say "gotta spend money to make money." Maybe make like one or two more items? Might spark some more interest?

well other than the cost of putting it in shop it costs nothing, i have plenty of materials it is just that if you over-produce you cause the value of your work to fall out vxv

[Here was a citrus soap I made, art was by my friend who I'm gonna try and get to sign up here] I really do miss doing this though.

Mmmm yeah lol. I might try it again in 2014 since I am becoming a bit more financially stable but usually when that happen work dries up again and I'm stuck with no money.

I have essential oils, my scale, and molds. I need more raw materials to create a base again and a proper work space which I no longer have at my new house :'c

well a kitchen table can always be converted for a little while but get your materials a little tiny bit at a time, stockpile it~

My kitchen doesn't have a table sadly its like this weird bar set up lol and no space to put a tiny table either. Its really awful and cooking is this massive mess that takes like 40 minutes to clean up lol. I might do that and stock pile my raw materials until I can maybe set something up in my garage with a hot plate or something :D

ah, opposite here, we have a big open kitchen but not much surface space

Hehe yeah same here my parents cooked a lot and I'm starting to cook more and more because I can make so much more food for a lot cheaper then buying it somewhere else lol. My favorite right now is stir fried quinoa with bell peppers, snap peas, and carrots :s-blush:
