it was a strange and uncomfortable rest but he managed it mostly and when the day was mostly gone he woke the boy and set out for the path. once there he offered the morsel a parting bow, "it has been a long several days my pet and while i would not mind going farther i have left my little home for much too long and would do well to go back. if you have need of my services again just call." before anything could be said in reply he twisted away and wandered back off. he did not expect to see that one again
He was found by his brother as soon as he entered the edge of the path that opened to the village. Dragged to his home he was both welcomed by anger and relief. Locked away with a lashing as his punishment red spent his days reduced to chores until once again they need him to make a delivery to his grandmothers. He was doing fine until he idled off the path, following the trails to the berry bush.
the hunger gnawing at his belly sent him off to the mouse fields though he never made it. slinking through the bramble he nearly tripped over the boy. stopping short he eased over and around the other to stand just out of his reach near his head, "boy-red?"
His blinking turned into bemusement at Mr Growl bowed and went through his usual introduction again. Pushing himself up he looked at the man and reached out to stroke one of the ears. "I have been waiting to get my freedom back, and this time I brought you a gift." He said pulling out a wrapped package.
raising a brow at the words he took the bundle and finding it both fragrant and heavy used one arm to hold it while the other untied the handkerchief that protected it. raising his brows further he stared down at a meticulously packed parcel of meats with a large lone sausage on top. a gift was a gift but this looked more like some sort of bribe or payment for a service not yet rendered, looking up he saw the earnest face staring back and seeing just a hint of red on the rosy pink face he wondered if the nervousness during his failed meal was simply an awkward bit of coyness. taking a chance at finding out he pulled free the sausage and rested it in the crook of his elbow while he retied the 'gift' before taking it to hand and letting his other grab the meat. half closing his eyes he brought the spiced flesh to his face and gave a soft lick to the very tip before slowly sliding it in as far as he could and slipping it back out and softly humming his approval stuck only the tip in this time and gave a light press with his teeth before neatly nipping off the tip and swallowing, "a fine gift, what would you like in return dear child?"
(he looks halfway between smug and sated uke-face XD he is not so good at being blushy sub hahaha) |
Red watched, wondering why the eyes that stared at him, made his face heat up. The man ate sausage like pig, inhaling it smoothly before biting, but like with the tongue that often licked his fingers, he sat transfixed with a small agape mouth in the shape of an O. The words broke the spell on his transfixed stare and he swallowed hard before shaking his head. Recalling the way the hand slid so easily around his waste he grabbed his basket. "It... is nothing Mr Growl... I remembered how much you like snacks and hoped to see you again." He took out one of his own pieces of dried jerky and offered it tentatively, transfixed on the mouth, not sure if he should be disgusted or amazed.
there was no lie in the voice of the boy but at the same time there was something else to it besides what what said. accepting the morsel with his mouth instead of his hands he was rewarded with a slight quiver in the fingers at the touch and pulling away he chewed contemplatively. he made a decision, "if you would not mind, i would very much enjoy walking with you through the woods, at least for a while. come little red"
He jumped at the idea of strolling through the woods with Mr Growl. Dusting himself off as he rose he smiled at the man. “Will we be taking the path or do you know a short cut?” He wondered knowing the strange man knew the woods like the back of his gloves.
the thought was alluring indeed but he remembered the threat from before and so decided to resist the temptation of wandering off with the morsel and chancing his stomach getting the better of his common-sense. smiling sweetly he spoke, "i think the path would be nicer, you can see a bit of sunlight through the trees in some places"
That was something he could do. Leading the way he drifted back towards the patch of heavily worn brown soil. It was also a change of pace from their usual romp in the woods for berries. He took one of his dried pieces of jerky out and nibbled as he stared. "Mr Growl? What is your job in the forest?" He wondered after they had gained a good walking pace.
job? the term confused him though not because he had not heard it before so much as he did not think there was a purpose to it. he did not falter, "i am a wolf. my job is to be me"
Red stagged backwards and blinked confused. Wolves did not bow and talk. He thought once again the man was being silly but something about the calmness of it made him nervous. He tried again but his eyes were now transfixed on the ears. "You know Mr Growl my job is to be me too" He chuckled. "But something you do on a daily basis that you have learned as a skill or trade? You know to make money?" He jostled his basket. "Like my family, they are bakers and now that my sister has married the hunter, we have gotten into the meat business, but we also do deliveries."
the short answer was that he had no job for he had no need for coins. coins could not be eaten, he did not say this however and instead spoke in a reassuring and pleasant way, "that is a job? then i suppose it would be helping people through the woods though it is no skill simply a kindness i do"
he shook his head at the silly man, though there was a blossoming smile. "You can always get paid in other ways, like... for saving me... I decided to pay you in the meat I noticed you like. And I am sure my grandmother will have more." He said licking his lips before biting down on the bottom one making it rather rosy. He realized he did not have a canteen. "Do you know if there is a spring near by?"
there was none that were in his territory but there was the spring and the boy seemed appreciative enough for that. leading him to it he was offered gratitude and while the other bent to drink he was reminded of another hunger he had not been able to fulfill though this one was not one he would manage without either instigating the hunter or having to work at. both seemed a bit much but the want to sate it was enough that he debated it while the morsel drank his fill from the chill water
(pervy wolf XD) |
After his drink, Red took one finger he undid the rope that kept his cloak tight around his neck. Sliding out of the garment he pulled his loose linen shirt down his shoulders before rolling up his cuffs. The cool water felt wonderful against his skin, and he eagerly splashed it along his face, letting it trail down his shoulders and chest beneath the fabric. What remained of the water was lost in his hair, dampening the brown locks. He turned and smile at Mr growl, who seemed in a stupor. Idly he flicked some of the water at the man.
(Making it worse :P ) |
his internal debate was interrupted when he was abruptly wetted by the boy and flinching away he stepped back, "hey now, boy-red, mind the water it is cold and you are getting me wet"
(temptation failed XD he wasn't brought up to think stripping is a tease XD it is 'clothed' or 'unclothed' to him) |
Turning back, he playfully flicked some of the water on to Mr growl. "Aw Mr Growl its just water." Rising from his perch he decided to crawl deeper into the small waves to see if he could trap some fish among the slippery pebbles.
it was indeed chilled though he did not offer much more than a soft growl before backing away. he would keep his distance while the human played and keep himself dry
He had hopped Mr Growl would join him, though it seemed the longer he stayed in the water, the angrier the man had gotten. After having patience, Red found himself with a giant salmon flapping in his arms and he proudly made his way back to the shore. "I have caught a meal for us." He said " do you think you could start a fire again?"
sulking was easy to manage and he made himself a spot just in the shade though as soon as the boy red started flailing and struggling he stood up and got close enough to see the little human with a large fish trapped and wriggling in the shirt he had been wearing. nodding at the request he gathered some stones and went to setting a fire while the food was brought to shore
(mine will gut and skin it most expertly if you'd like) |
The hermit man had not ceased to amazed him. Not only did he start a fire but he expertly gutted the fish and sectioned it to cook. While the fire was blazing, Red took the opportunity to rid himself of his wet clothing, using his cloak as a chair to warm himself. “You are so amazing Mr Growl.” He said hugging his knees. “What else can you do?”
distracted as he was by the fish and by the now-nude boy he had little mind to articulate anything and so only offered a mumble at first. when he was made to repeat himself his tongue got the better of him, "many things given the opportunity"
He watched the man come closer to him and mumbled something, it was only after asking to repeat himself that he gave Mr Growl a smile and wiggled close to him brushing against the fur. He turned his attention back to the fire, and the familiar calls of a lazy days sleep teased him.
it was not unlike the 'hell' clerics had in the past threatened him with before he ate them. a long eternity where both of his hungers boiled and fought and begged for satiation as the soft fleshy-sweet body lay against him, by the time the fish was done the upper ache spoke and the lower stood out. only the thought of being gutted by the hunter spared the boy as he was woken to take his half of the meal
He took the fish and greedily bit into it. The smokey flavor filled him making him realizing his canteen was till by the water. Setting his fish down on his cloak he went to retrieve it. Carefully he walked through the thicket trying not to get prodded by the protruding foliage. Once he came back he saw Mr growl huddled over his meal. “Would you like some water?” He offered crouching close.
making a point of keeping his mouth full he ignored the human and his question the best he could
He realized he left his canteen by the water. Rising he sauntered over to the river to gather it. He drank more of the cooling waters. Upon walking back he slipped on the edges of his cloak, tumbling through the open space between Mr Growls legs and crashed into his chunk of fish. His face had fallen into the soft folds of mr growls lap but it did not save the fish that was smashed against the curls of his lips.
pain on top of pain. it hurt so bad to have the weight of the human on his neathers and it was with a growl he demanded it get off of him. it was made worse when the pleasure and pain stopped mixing and he was met with a standing red. he stood
The man seemed threatening when drawn to his full height. Close to him, he remembered the feeling of the touch around his torso. It did not help that Mr growl seemed to have developed the morning problem. His cheeks grow rosy, as he stared at the lump and looked up at Mr Growls face. He swallowed and looked away. "Mr growl, do you need to commit a sin?" .
a sin? he did not know if his face showed hunger though either way he wanted to consume. "no boy red, i do not wish to eat." offering a leer to take over whatever face he was making he leaned in enough to pull the human close, "i have other desires that are not assuaged by the thought of gunpowder and hounds' teeth in my back. you are not dressed and you do not run knowing what i am and my intentions now, is that your word i am not to die for this transgression?"
By the hand and the face, he could tell Mr growl meant what the courting couples in the village did. He shuddered not sure why his half brother was of concern to Mr Growl. "Mr Growl... what I do is my business not theirs." He said meeting the hungry eyes. His chest tightened, he was going to get a kiss from Mr growl. He shook his head in confirmation.
He noticed the tongue idle by the side of the mans mouth, before he spoke. Red simply found himself staring again. Crawling as slowly as he could he used the tree to help himself up. It was a slow and throbbing hobble over to the water but he managed to wash the dried remains off the inside off his legs. He was tired as he put his clothes back on. "Its... nothing Mr Growl... can you carry me to my grandmothers house?"
Cho: Leaving off his questions he put his pants back on proper and standing up he gave a light bow, "I am the meticulous marvelous, Mister Growl, I will take you to the edge of the woods as surely as your own legs." Pasting on a cocky grin he grabbed the boy and hauled him onto to his back. The other was quite heavy but he had through this one sedated both wants and still there was more to be had if he kept him in good graces. "But to answer your question, you hear the sound of eating and you want jealously, you see sex and you daydream you are a part of it,the illusion of what delights the taste of sex is far outreaches beyond the reality of it." Pog: Each bouncy step created a sharp pain in his lower spine and only sleep drowned out both Mr Growl and his aches. Something about calling what they had done ..sex? He coughed. "Mr Growl... that was.." He shut his mouth. It did not sit well with him and he certainly didn't dream of it that way. He feverishly woke to find himself at the edge of his grandmothers town. Gathering his basket he hobbled to her home. At his sorry state she accepted his lies about falling in the creek while trying to catch fish and allowed him to stay a few days to rest until he could make the journey home. |
for three days he had no need to dig for mice and both his fingers and his pride were grateful for it. useig this free time he took up waiting by the forest's edge for the boy red to come by on the fourth however he ran out of the spiced meat and so would only wait one last time before going back to digging for his dinner
He loved his grandmother and the overwhelming amount of sympathy she could gather from the villagers. It seemed that his unlikely story were the tales of many adolescents in the village. Not only was he able to get balm for his walk him, but a plethora of pity food to take with him on his slow sojourn back. He adjusted his heavy basket, finally able to stride with confidence once more, back into the woods.
just as he settled in he could hear the sound of someone entering the woods and though he had been disappointed before he was met with a fine sight this time. the boy red, with his basket over-full it seemed from the large bulge over the top of the basket's brim, was walking towards where he hid with a pleased look on his face. grinning to himself he stepped out with a bow, "boy-red!"
He jumped, then relaxed into a grin before becoming stunned with a flush. He swallowed and pulled his basket tighter to his chest. "Mr Growl." There was a smile on his face but apprehension in his step. He managed to relax to his his usual grin. "I brought you another present. I told my grandmother about a mysterious huntsmen that helped me out, and she said it was always good idea to pay them in kind." He produced another wrapped hunk of meat. "I made sure it was meat, though she said a huntsmen could get meat anytime..." He walked closer. "I said not bacon."
the thought of fresh meat stirred him though he did not know what 'bacon' was. coming closer he smelled hat he could and through the familiar-to-red smell of spice and bread he got a whiff of pig-flesh. wondering if this was 'bacon' or if it was some other smell he could not pick up he sidled close and hooked his arm with the human's, "your grandmother is wise and kind in equal measures"
The heat flooded him at the mere touch and remembrance of the strange... activity that left him confused. "Yes... she is... Um.. Mr Growl. Is there a good spot down the road to have a picnic? We can cook some of the bacon to eat with the meat and bread." He said not sure how much his voice wavered. "She also gave me some peppermint balm for my sores." He said looking away shyly.
the tremble was not lost on him and he wondered if he had upset the other in some way. offering a nod and an affirmation he led the other down to the small glade by the creek where they spent most of their time, it was only an hour's walk and gave him time enough to have the boy soften towards him once more
