That poor dog now has a strict day schedule, lol. Has her own wake up time and bed time (she's actually in bed right now).

I realized that she won't tiddle in her bed-space. I need to try to sell stuff I don't need/want to get her a bigger cage for when she gets older. She'll grow out of this pet carrier by the end of the year.

Obs: Well yes but with dogs a tap on the ass is not much as sad as it is you need something to hurt so that they understand what they did was wrong. Like rub their nose in it and hit their nose. Its the most sensitive part they have. Tell them no outside and put them outside.

Lucid: I have so many old items...its crazy! Also yes I am here oh and HI LUCID! Also the list for those to choose from will hold lots of old items as well

Ml: Hello there and please do people need to lol

...I forgot subscriptions were a thing...

Obsidian 10-26-2015 11:02 PM

Eww, then I'll have her doggy piss on my hand!

>->

But I'll give that a try cause apparently spanking her doesn't seem to work.

Pinkie 10-26-2015 11:42 PM

Yeah I know it sucks but for dogs its not only the pain to the tip of the nose its the smell of piss to. Since their smell is so great its horrible to them. So after awhile they learn that if they do this well pain and bad smell will happen.

I also just remembered that was a thing lol subscriptions

My old cat Lilith, who Dolly now owns, when I got her she was the sweetest kitten in the whole world. Well anyway, I worked a lot and was a full time student at the time and my then boyfriend would neglect her so she started peeing on towels, and he'd get pissed off and lock her in her litterbox until I got home and saved her. I had to wash all of her poop off of her so many times, so I found her a new home with Dolly. This is a random story about animal behavior and how not to train your pets that popped into my head while I read this thread. o3o

I generally hate potty training animals. Thankfully my dog liked going outside so much she sort of potty trained herself.

I did not know that about the pee on the nose thing o3o

Lucid: 10-27-2015 01:33 AM

I didn't know their noses were so sensitive to pain. :o So how do you get a dog that is totally potty trained to stop eating their poop while nobody is looking?

Thread subscriptions...oh boy. I used to have a zillion of those. It was the only way to keep track of all the threads I posted in! Then a good lot of them died and I quit using subscriptions. I'd love to see the feature cleaned up just a bit someday.

Well, that explains why Lilith won't even go near the litter boxes! Awesome. If I ever encounter your ex, I'm going to lock him in a room with a box full of feces.

I have 1 cat, Buddy, who stays inside because he's literally a uhm... let me find a different term... wimp.

Then I have 1 cat, Kitty, who stays outside. She's actually Buddy's mother. She stays outside because if the litter box has 3 piles of poo in it, she refuses to use it and will use our dirty laundry box instead.

And because I always have food and water outside on the porch for her, one of the strays self-taught himself to love and adopted us.. My brother named him Buster. He was extremely skittish at first.. darting off when I get on the porch. Now, after watching Kitty meow at me and rub up against my legs to get food, he now does the same thing to me. I'm all "Omigawd, Kitty has taught you well..."

CupcakeDolly 10-27-2015 12:28 PM

Awwwuh! Not only is Buster a great name for a cat, it's so cool to hear that he was actually taught to be friendly. So cuuuute!

Obsidian 10-27-2015 02:14 PM

Hehe, yeah, he's still somewhat skittish if I move too quickly without speaking first. Which is fine cause that's how Buddy is. He's tamed but extremely skittish, lol.
My brother gets sad sometimes because when he tries to go pet him, Buddy runs and hides. He's like "I don't know what I did to him..." I keep telling him that he's just a wimp (course that's actually the "censored" version of what I really said, lol).

Glitch 10-27-2015 03:49 PM

ya :( he would barricade her in with her scratchy post or a suitcase or a box. I couldn't believe it. Poor thing, she does like going outside though.
