Panda 12-04-2014 12:48 AM

@Trystan : It sure is! :D I really like it.

Paying bills doesn't make me feel old. My youngest sister becoming a preteen makes me feel old. I was 22 when she was born. =\

Lucid: 12-04-2014 12:48 AM

Haha, even I feel that way sometimes. I get into bad periods of lurking sometimes, and don't always get to know new people as well as I should. In turn it makes me even more scared to post because I don't know everyone! >.< It's a bad feeling, being such an old member and not knowing hardly anyone. I've been trying to do better recently.

@Mek: I'm only 21 lol >.<

Tiva 12-04-2014 12:49 AM

See Lucid! Us older users can still feel like newbies some times!

I hate being an adult. I would much prefer to not be one, because bills… bills suck.

Wait I am older than Panda? *is 22*

Lucid: 12-04-2014 12:49 AM

Wow, 22 years is a pretty huge difference! My youngest brother becoming a teenager makes me feel old, and he's only 9 years younger than me!

Tiva, we are the same age! **high-fives!**

Panda: yaay!

Mek: my younger daughter is 13...i don't feel old enough to have a 13 year old!

Panda 12-04-2014 12:50 AM

I agree with you, it is kinda hard to get back in the loop with everyone here. You want to post, but you don't really know anyone here anymore. It is hard and it takes time. I'm too impatience. >.<

Yup! I'm 21~ I work 6 days a week from 9-7.
I actually enjoy having money than just staying home. I'm weird.

Lucid: 12-04-2014 12:51 AM

Well, throwing a holiday party is probably the best way to get to know new people! :D I suspect this thread will be the hip-happening place to be all month long. <3

But it also scares me because I compulsively backread every post, and I hate having to backread more than a page and a half. xD

My sister is 12 in two days. I'm like, wth, where'd the time go??

Panda 12-04-2014 12:52 AM

Hehe I remember when I used to be young and immature.

Tiva 12-04-2014 12:52 AM

*high fives Lucid* Yay for being 22 and the title of a Taylor swift song!

I get that, a lot of my old friends left and I had to make new ones… but the new people are fun too!

trystan830 12-04-2014 12:54 AM

i've seen a quote: "cleverly disguised as a responsible adult." i have bills. and my older daughter will be going to college next year. eek!

also: "you're only young once; you can be immature forever"

Oh my gosh....I never really realized it before, but, I joined staff when I had just turned 18, and I'd been around the site a few years before that...I'm old, and Trisphee is old too! :o

I actually still have my activation email in my inbox from my beta forum account. February 2009! Of course my official join date after we moved to this forum is in August.

My favorite was always: Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.
