I visit lots of avatar sites. And I lurk on them a lot, too.

Hopefully they will give us our old stuff back when Crys reopens.

Red Lion 03-01-2013 08:19 PM

I certainly hope there will be some compensation. But I'm scoping out new places just in case, anything to keep from returning to Ernya.

Angel Spirit Girl 03-01-2013 08:33 PM

Was ernya too clique-y?

Asami 03-01-2013 08:44 PM

Hello red lion ^^ //waves

Not so much clique-y as it was just too...girly. I didn't really like how female geared the site was and I had many issues with the lack of unisexing and when things were unisex 90% of the items were still things like skirts and frilly crap. I only had one person I really talked to on there.

And there are no red beards on the site....that is a crime.

Thank you Asami

Ah! I see.

Most sites have lots of female items since most of the members are female and have female base avis.

You will find lots of variety of clothing here, though, I'm sure.

Arikana 03-01-2013 09:08 PM

We do try to have a variety of male/female stuff, but most of our item design team is female so it's slow, hard process.

So far Variety isn't an issue.

Arikana The male/female balance is better here than on Ernya but I Did notice that there are a lot of items that aren't unisex. That's slightly disappointing.

Arikana 03-01-2013 09:31 PM

Uh, I know some of the oldest commons have a male and female option rather than both genders in one item and some just don't. But overall, most of it is unisex. :3

Red Lion 03-01-2013 09:35 PM

That's good to hear, gender equality is never a bad thing.

Arikana 03-01-2013 09:46 PM

So true. Male avatars are fun to play with. <3

And female avatars are everywhere, so it's nice to be different. ;)

Red Lion 03-01-2013 09:54 PM

Yes indeed,

Well I think I'm all settled in, I look like a proper barkeep again and the Pub is open in the Hangouts.

You and me both brutha
Even the male oriented items were quite female
Which I mean, I understand, I know which side of the bread avatar sites are buttered on
But does everything have to be like that xD

We're working hard to make more male oriented items come out more frequently so hopefully you can find something here :>

Also I'm sending you some aurum so you can get one of the aurum montlies or something for yourself in the shops ~ welcome to the site!

Red Lion 03-02-2013 12:03 AM

Wow, Thanks a lot, I appreciate it.

Why don't you drop by the pub sometime and hang with us?

Rem 03-02-2013 12:50 AM

I will have to do that-! I'm trying to be more active on the site, I was on hiatus for too long

Red Lion 03-02-2013 01:20 AM

Ah, well you are welcome any time, Willis and I will be happy to see you.
