Yay, that's good to hear! :D
So how you enjoying Tris so far, Cora? :)

Cora 12-13-2012 09:33 PM

So far I'm quite enjoying it.

I was leery at first, but then I always am when starting out on new sites. I've been on far too many where the people where complete asses to new commers.....which doesn't make them want to stay. Everyone was overly welcoming and super nice here ^.^

Mm, we're all generally fairly nice here at Tris. :) It's like one big family, just a crazy one. XD

Cora 12-14-2012 06:26 AM

I like that quite a bit.

To be honest, its that mentality that has kept me on mene for some time. I think I'll be here a while.

Dawn 12-14-2012 06:39 AM

I agree with you there.. some sites I just flutter through and others, I tend to stay.. I go between here and Zantarni mostly these days.. mainly cause one of my good friends still go on there and there's days I just want to spend an hour chatting with her. Not even sure what I have on Mene.. never made any friends to give my stuff too, probably don't even remember my name or stuff to log back if I wanted to return.

Cora 12-14-2012 06:44 AM

I had a zantarni account, but gave away most of my stuff some time ago for art. The people on Zan where not unkind, but I did always felt like I was an outsider.

Dawn 12-14-2012 06:51 AM

Yea, there's like little cliques on there.. me and someone were discussing that a while back.. only other thing I hate about it is they capped the mining so posting is the main way of earning currency plus items are more harder to get on there.. I still go back cause I do have friends on there, infact I'm swapping an item on there for art from my friend. If there had been more artists.. I would of given up half of my invo.. minus a few items that I do tend to wear and my one fakes.. made a promise to the seller I would sell back if I quit or didn't want..

Lauv Keiko 12-14-2012 08:49 AM

Is cora still selling runes? o3o

Cora 12-14-2012 11:19 AM

not until next month.

Cora 12-14-2012 11:20 AM

@Dawn- cliques, that was the word I was looking for.

Lauv Keiko 12-14-2012 11:25 AM

D'aawww... gosh :p-cry: I missed it

Ugh. Don't get my started with Zantarni. I want to beat up that site so much. The way I see it, it's a place that never grows up since they've either stayed as childish as before or gotten even more so. Probably the latter. =w= But that is good for one thing: To acclimate the new user to an avatar site or to acclimate Gaia users transitioning to other sites outside of Gaia. XD Use them to train up proper users and when they grow out of it because of their cliquey groups and crappy ways to earn old items, come flock to sites like Tris. 8D Lul.

Whoops. I seemed to have ranted about Zantarni. Sorry 'bout that. >.<

Lauv Keiko 12-14-2012 11:51 AM

LOL, tris is a growing community and even though it is growing, it's still one big family.

Arikana 12-14-2012 12:49 PM

Yup! There's like the immediate family that helps foster a loving environment, and the extended family that helps make it big, awesome and crazy. :D That's what I think all avatar sites should be like. >.> Lul.

Dawn 12-14-2012 01:15 PM

I have to agree a bit there, I like Trisph alot more, maybe cause I get the freedom to express myself without the owner jumping down my throat or a mod tearing into my opinions.. which on Zan, has happened to other people who posted opinions..

Also, I am slowly opening up on here.. on Zan.. if you didn't fit in with the group than you were shunned.. on here, I have a wide selection of people I choose to socialize or erm.. start wars with.. o.0 whatever term you might want to say. I love the fact that items are more easier to get on here and that people are willing to work with you.. through, I still enjoy killing my own threads on here. XD -die you thread, die-

Arikana 12-14-2012 02:01 PM

Mm, honestly Tris is just a LOT more open than Zantarni. It found the cliquey-ness and old item availability on the market wasn't as bad when Tom was owner, but since he sold it cause of his health issues, the site's just gone downhill from there. >.> I don't even think the site could go back to the way it was if he were to take up ownership again. XD

Lul. It is fun to start joke wars on here. :D Especially if you get the right people to start them with. :P But get the wrong people and it'll turn sour.
