And yep, this was kinda how I was originally thinking of her. But then I found the awesomeness that was the corset + prince shirt + prince skirt + long skirt layering and I was sold.

Asura doesn't have the patience to fix her hair every day, so she just uses one of her swords and cuts it short herself.

That's how Taiye is. She cuts it short in the front (which is why it's all uneven and stuff) with her blade and braids the back, but cuts them (the braids) short when they get too long. She just makes sure the hair is out of her eyes, but doesn't care enough to always cut the back short as well. xDDD

When she was younger though (a mortal) she had a loooong ponytail but it was cut off when she was stabbed in the back and "died". O:
