Mizuki smiled as Thalion asked if he could put up with him forever since it was a long time. At that he gave a little nod of his head "If I couldnt last that long at your side I wouldnt be at your side now" Mizuki said as he gave the male another kiss on the side of his neck. It was ture though if Mizuki was unsure that this would be a forever thing he wouldnt be here and it was that simple. After that the two of them just sat there for awhile in silence as Mizuki held Thalion.

It was one thing he had wanted to do from the moment his master came to the castle so it was nice to have it finally. Though the moment seemed to end as there was a knock to the door. Sighing Mizuki placed his chin on Thalions shoulder "Enter" He said in a tired voice before the door opened and a medic stepped in "I am sorry to bother you my lords but its time to change lord Thalions bandages" The medic stated "As well as taking care of your hand lord Mizuki"

Mizuki sighed at that "Im fine just take care of him" He said as he moved and got out of the bed from behind Thalion. Though at this the medic sighed a little "Mi'lord im sorry but if you hand goes untreated it wont heal right" Mizuki knew the female was right. From the fact that his hand was still in almost the same shape as it was when his master first did the damage and now probably worse from the fight that took place "The medics are set up in the next room my lord"

Mizuki sighed at this "Fine fine..." He said after a moment. He was not looking forward to what was going to happen. He knew that he would have to rebrake more then one bone in order for the hand to heal right. Holding his hand to his chest he leaned over and kissed Thalion on the forehead "I will be back in time" Mizuki said before he moved back and then past the female medic and out the room. Though as he left the room he nodded to Vaden who was standing just out side of it as he talked with Belquiri.

"Go sit with him Vaden" Mizuki said and the male gave a nod before he said his good bye to the female before going back into the room from before. At that though it left Belquiri behind and the female looked to Mizuki making him stop his movements. The last time he had spoken to the female he was so harsh and he didnt know if he could correct that but he had to try. "Bel...dear...im s-" Though his words ended as the females arms came around him as she stepped forward.

"I know papa" She said as she hugged him tightly and he smiled sadly as he placed his arm around her shoulders "My mind was not with me...please forgive your idiot papa" He said to her as he hugged her before pulling back and kissing her darker forehead. Belquiri smiled at this "There is nothing to forgive" Belquiri said and Mizuki smiled at that "Though...now you need to take care of that hand" She said with a huff as she crossed her arms.

Mizuki nodded "I know I know" He said before moving back and heading into the room that was right beside Thalion. There in the room rested three medics an a chair with chains "The chains are for...?" He asked lightly though one of the medics frowned a little "For the just in case factor my lord" He said and Mizuki frowned "It will be painfull and the last thing that we need is for you to use magic" Mizuki knew that they were right but he still growled as he moved and sat in the chair.

"Well let us get this over with then" He hissed as they placed the magical cuff on his one good hand before his other was placed on the table beside where he sat. Turning his head he took a deep breath "Are you ready My lord?" One medic asked and taking another breath he nodded his head "Do it" He said in a stern voice and look though those both ended as the pain and noise from the first bone being set in place happened.

It was a growl of pain first as a tear was brought to an eye though he closed his eyes tight as he made himself ready for the next one. It hurt and it hurt bad. After the second one he didnt bother to hold back his yells as another bone was placed back. It hurt and if anyone said otherwise he would call them dirty liars. His screams were enough to prove the pain he felt. Even those outside the close door cringed with each one made to a point that Bel couldnt handle it.

Leaving the large space outside the rooms she headed in for Thalions and right for the male. Dropping to her knees she hid her head in Thalions lap as she covered her ears a little with a hiss. Belquiri knew that it needed to happen but she still didnt have to like it.

Well there was a point there. Why would he be here if he didn't think he could handle it. Though he was glad he was here. Through everything and they ended up back where they should be. Though it was a moment together that didn't last long enough before it was disrupted. He rolled his eyes as the medic spoke. Though fighting with the female only meant that she'd go get Neimi if it was needed.

Though he didn't want Mizuki to leave even knowing what they needed to do to the hand. Hell he knew the shape it was in from them being linked and even he wasn't looking forward to it being 'healed'. Luckily he had a decent thresh hold for pain or he wouldn't be in any shape to try to comfort Belquiri down as she entered the room.

His wounds were already taken care on before they even had Mizuki forced down so he could cast any spells. Even with Vaden sitting there he cringed a few times each time they did something. The pain through the link was defined enough that was for sure, the screams that were heard hardly helped it. Though they seemed to bother someone else more as the doors opened.

Belquiri walked in, more of a rushed stride and tried covering her ears while cringing against Thalion's lap. Moving a hand he brushed her hair back a little trying to act like it wasn't effecting him when it was. Ah yes the front he put up to try to calm the children half of the time. "Shh.. it won't be much longer.." She nodded weakly but drew up none the less at the next scream and it took everything in his power to not finch at the sudden twinge of pain between them.

Things seemed to be over after a little longer and he was glad of it. One of the medics that had been helping with Mizuki came in to say that things went well and that the lord was resting. Heh no wonder was Thalion's first thought as he nodded a little before looking down at Belquiri who seemed to be asleep from where he had been trying to calm her down.

"I need to thank you it seems.." He started as Vaden looked over from watching the doors for a moment. "For stopping him I mean.. and putting up with it all." He said looking back down again with a slight heavy sigh. He did owe the older male, if he didn't go find Mizuki then... Bel wouldn't be here Nytria .. or himself for that matter.

Vaden shook his head a little. "Thanking me for doing my job is a new one. Is it not the duty of anyone here to protect the kings that keep this kingdom held together against all odds?" He hated when Vaden had a point or worded things so there was no way to argue them. But he was right, and it seemed the other hardly saw it as a big deal. Though maybe he had plans or something in place if things did not go as they did.

He nodded a little seeing as the only thing he could do is agree. "You are both young, when you two get my age then I might say doing similar stunts is foolish. But you both have quite a few years to come close to that." That was very true. It was probably why Vaden seemed calm at all times of the day no matter what was going on he kept a level head.

Either way he had to give up on thanking the older male. He didn't want thanks and seemed content enough that both of them were alive still and that there was one less threat to the kingdom. Though he couldn't help his next sentence as he smiled a little. "Still hate today young lord?"

Thalion glared at him a bit. "I can't believe you had to ask that. I certainly do not like it any better that is for sure.." Was the slightly annoyed reply as Vaden shook his head a little keeping the smirk. "There is always next year." He said to Thalion as Thalion groaned at the thought. "No next year I am locking myself in a room... screw taking chances on anything else happening."

"At my luck the goddess that was brought into all of this would get bored or something and come to collect dues." He rolled his eyes at the thought hardly thinking that would ever really happen but that would be his luck now wouldn't it? Just once could he get a damned break from everything that could go wrong going wrong?

None the less it went later into the evening as one of the medics finally spoke that Mizuki seemed to be awake again. by now he was unchained and just resting in a bed. Belquiri had woken up by now as well and Thalion was tired of being forced to stay here. She frowned at him as he said she was going to help. "You need to stay here though, Papa can-" "And resting here for days on end will make things worse, you act like I got my leg cut off ... its a small wound and walking on it will not be the end of the world."

It was true but that didn't stop her from worrying, though she gave in she still worried. Nytria was at Mizuki's side with Amonar by the time Belquiri and Thalion got to the room. Apparently making mends with Papa for being a idiot for the short period this was all going on. Though Thalion was about to get a reminder just how sore that leg was.

Good thing Belquiri was helping him or he might have fallen over as Amonar suddenly clung to Thalion's leg causing a slight hiss in the process. The young boy squeaking daddy in the process of it all. Thalion cringed a little before speaking. "Amonar.. we need to half a talk about when daddy is recovering.. heh" Belquiri wanted to laugh or say I told you not to do it.

Though Amonar seemed to have a thought of his own as he stayed clung to Thalion who had been missing for most of this time. "Nothing hurts daddy though.. he's too strong for that." Oh that was not even fair. Though out of it all Thalion had to admit the loss for words was something he wasn't expecting a child to provide. "Heh.. if only that were true." He said finally as the youngest nodded a little. "It is though." He proudly beamed before Thalion moved to carrying him on the side that wasn't wounded to prevent any further mishaps.

As the process of the breaking went on it took everything in his power to keep awake through it all. By the time the medics were finished he was sitting or more slouching in the chair breathing heavily with his eyes closed. Okay...so that hurt. He didnt get a chance to think any more though as the cuffs were removed and he was picked up from the chair and placed into the bed. He didnt protest in the slightest for as soon as his head hit the pillow Mizuki was out.

It took some time before he came to next though when he did he gave a groan at the feeling his hand gave "Papa?" He heard to his side and this made him open his eyes before he turned his head and the sight that met him made him smile. There Nytria was sitting beside him with Amonar in his lap as the small child held a book. Though at the mention of papa the book was down and two sets of Maroon eyes fell on him.

Mizuki smiled "Hey there..." He said though he didnt get a chance to say more as Amonar bounced "Papa your awake!" The child said before he jumped down from his brothers lap and Mizuki had just enough time to sit up before the child climbed onto the bed and threw little arms around his neck in a hug "Im glad papas back!" The child said happily and Mizuki smiled as he rapped his good arm around the young male "So is papa..." Mizuki said "So is papa"

Though that ended as he looked over to Nytria. The male was sitting in the chair with a soft smile on his face though his head was hung a little "Ny..." Mizuki began but the male shook his head "Its okay papa..." He said looking up "I know you didnt mean anything" The male said and Mizuki gave a sad smile at that "It still dose not make it right to say or did what I did...and for that I am truely sorry" Mizuki said as he bowed his head.

This action caused the male beside him to gasp a little before shaking his head causing his hair to flail as he did "No" He said "You dont need to be sorry. I know you were doing what was needed to be done" Nytria smiled as he spoke but Mizuki shook his head at this "It does not change the fact that it happened" Mizuki said to him with a smile "Your papa will make it up to you" He said with a nod of his head though this was when the words died as the door opened.

Looking up he had just enough time to move his sore hand as the young male in his lap darted off the bed towards Thalion screaming DADDY as he went. The sight made him smile though he did cringe as those young arms rapped around the males sore leg and he felt the pain through the link. However the pain was forgotten as the young male spoke to Thalion saying daddy was strong and nothing hurt him.

Mizuki smiled at that "I have to agree with you there Amonar" Mizuki said with a nod as Thalion picked the young boy up "Your dad is very strong and with out him non of us would be here" Mizuki smiled though this was when Nytria spoke "I must agree however stupid dad is some times strong is one thing he always is" The male said with a nod before Bel beside Thalion nodded as well "Its true and accept it!" She said lightly smacking the males arm.

This caused Mizuki to laugh a little at the sight before him. The kids all kept telling Thalion that he was strong but the male kept disagreeing with the words. Though the pout on Thalions face made him smile more before he moved and got out of the bed. Walking over to Thalion he leaned in and kissed the male before pulling back "I think thats four against one...majority rules" Mizuki said with a laugh as Thalion glared at him. Oh yes things were going to be okay.

Oh thats how it was huh, Mizuki agreeing with the child about what he had said. If only the world was that simple. There was a lot of things that hurt Thalion even if he did a damned good job of hiding them. He didn't have to but it did seem to help at times. either way he glared at Mizuki saying that he agreed.

"Right... don't act like I do all of the work. I don't think I did much of anything as far as us being here right now." Meaning the more recent event. Mizuki was the one that protected them the most through it all. If you asked him Vaden did more work then he did in protecting all of them through it. Though the lucky thing was that Belquiri and Nytria had no idea, he was glad of that.

Though Mizuki mentioning stupid Thalion had to roll his eyes a little. That might be true, though they could both be stupid when it came down to it. Either way Belquiri seemed to agree with Mizuki and her brothers about what Amonar said. Not that it made Thalion disagree any less.

This was about the time that Mizuki got up and walked over kissing him before speaking. Four against one with majority rules. He was about to say something as Amonar who was still in his arms made a face before speaking out. "ew they are kissing again." Being so young that was almost expected as Thalion laughed a little at the random outburst.

"I'll remember that when you get older." He said poking Amonar's nose a little as the child stuck his tongue out at the thought of it. Things were ok, or at least they seemed to be. No matter what this was how they were suppose to be at the end of the day. together as a family.

Mizuki smiled as Amonar spoke he couldnt help the laugh though as Thalion beat him to making a comment. "Much older" Mizuki said lightly as he reached out and tickled the stomach of Amonar a little before pulling back. "Either way..." He said and looking to Thalion he gave him the look of 'im sorry but its happening' "I vote we go and have something eat and celebrate the rest of daddys birthday" He said with a smirk and the look Thalion gave him was priceless.

Bel and Nytria looked at each other before they smiled big at the same time and turned. In unison they cheered "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!" before all four arms circled around Thalion as Amonar clapped an bounced in Thalions arm "Birthday, birthday, birthday!" everything combine Mizuki couldnt help but to full on laugh at the view before him.

After that time was simple again. Saevain was held for his crimes against the royal family and just to teach the elder mage a lesson both Thalion and himself had some spells that needed a test subject. The days went on and they turned to months before those months turned to years. Now it was two years later and everything was back to normal. The castle was thriving as was the kingdom. The kids grew each day and now Amonar was well into magic training.

Mizuki stood there as he smiled "Thats enough for today" He said to the slightly panting boy before him "Its time to go take your studies" He said and the boy smiled "Alright papa" He said with a nod. Over the years the boy had chosen to keep his hair much in the style of his father. Semi long and pointy often with a messy way white hair was tipped with red and bounced as the male ran past him before stopping. Turning he smiled "Thank you for the lesson Papa" The boy said with a little bow before leaving.

It was shocking to Mizuki how well mannered the young boy seemed to be. Even though he was gone Mizuki smiled "Your welcome my boy" He said to the room before he himself left. Heading to his study he smiled as he entered before walking to his desk. Sitting he sighed a little before starting the days work.

It was not long after that there came a knock to his door "Yes what is it?" He asked as the door opened and he looked up. Looking to Luna he frowned "Is everything okay?" He asked the female and she shook her head "No..." She said lightly and Mizuki stood "What whats wrong what happened?" He asked as he moved around the desk. This was when Luna sighed "Theres a problem and..." This is where she stopped and at that Mizuki walked over to her and scowled "Out with it!" He said.

Though he regretted it as Luna out of no where got a evil smirk before she walked behind him "My problem is that you work to much!" She said as she pushed him through the door "Hey wait!" Mizuki began to protest though she was having non of it as she continued to push him down the hall "Tell me what this is about!" Mizuki began "Where are you taking me, where are we going?!" he yelled though Luna just laughed "You sir need a vacation!" She said and Mizuki yelp as he was shoved through the door.

Out infront of the castle was a wagon hooked to two horses in normal color. Royal color traveling would not be smart. In the back were supplies ranging from food to herbs, their weapons, as well as sleeping rolls and travel pillows. By the cart stood stood all three kids as well Vaden and Ryza. That was interesting "Just what exactly do you all think this is?" He asked though Luna shook her head "Not saying till the second part of the plan gets here. At that Mizuki looked to her with a questioning look.

He did give the other a look, it was like he was ready to kill Mizuki for mentioning that. The look of I hate you in return was priceless indeed. Happy was not the word he'd use for most of this day. Oh lord Neimi was going to find it out now! All of these years and he had managed to keep it from her. Whos fault was this.. oh right Vaden probably. Great he couldn't even do anything about the person at fault for it.

Times were peaceful after that day. fro years even. Though no wonder seeing the time the kingdom had on it's hands. The force that someone would have to get through to defeat the kingdom was one to be reckoned with. Let alone by now there were even some of the dragon units that were large enough for flight while keeping a rider.

Yes things were going smoothly. Thalion would hardly complain other then he kept himself busy and Mizuki did the same. Oddly the two seemed to be taking turns with Amonar. Magic training and weapons as well. What surprised them more was that he took to both like a fish would to water. Unlike Belquiri and Nytria where one was better at magic then the other and vise verse.

Though it seemed his plans to keep going about this little routine of his was at a end for a little while. In the mornings he trained Amonar and later in the afternoon after dealing with other troops and issues on hand he bothered wasting a few hours in the forge to try to perfect a few things to give this place more of a edge if war ever did come upon them. He was rather excited about the newest project of his to say the least.

Though it seemed there was a group against him and Mizuki today as he heard footsteps enter the room. Though they were heavy ones and they were not Mizuki's or the kids that was certain. turning after moving a hand so the fire died down a little he looked up to see Felix standing there. He gave the over-sized man a questioning look as he moved the goggles to the top of his head.

"Need something?" Felix shook his head a little. "Well.. In a way." He started before asking Thalion to come with him. Though Thalion blew that off as he turned around and complained for being bothered when he was nearly finished before he was ready to test this project. "Can't it wait till later? Really... " He started before Felix moved.

He knew that Thalion was going to protest. Luna had Mizuki covered, it was Thalion that they knew was going to fight more. Thus he came prepared as he quickly put cuffs on Thalion with his arms behind him before throwing him over one shoulder. Felix was a bit faster then he looked and Thalion wasn't expecting it so it was easy enough of a task.

"What the hell are you doing! Felix!" Thalion growled knowing it was being ignored as Felix walked. "Something for your own good, the cuffs are to make sure your temper doesn't get the better of you for the moment." Thalion hissed at him trying to get free the whole time.

Still having the goggles on his head as Felix walked out to where Luna and the others were seeing that she had gotten Mizuki easily enough. "Felix if you don't put me down right now!!" Thalion warned before Felix laughed a little. "you'll what? Continue complaining?" "Yes!... smart ass.." He hissed the last part knowing that that was about all he could do at the moment before Felix finally set him down.

"Might want to keep those on for a while." He said towards leaving Thalion in the cuffs he was still in. though his ears went back by now seeing Mizuki who seemed about as lost as he was. "So anyone mind telling me why I was jumped in my forge and chains and dragged out here... "

Mizuki growled as he stood there though that died as Thalion and Felix came into view. It was the image that made Mizuki smile. Felix had Thalion over one shoulder with the male kicking and screaming. This then was when he was placed down on the ground and Mizuki frowned as Luna spoke "You two work way to much" She said though Mizuki didnt get a chance to say anything as Belquiri spoke up "All we do is see you two work!" She said with a huff.

Mizuki sighed a little "Its needed who else is going-" Though he was cut off as Nytria stepped forward and spoke up "You two are going on a vacation" He said "Sis and I are old enough to take care of the kingdom in your sted" He said with a nod just as his sister did "With everything you two go through some relaxation will do you good" She said with a smile though at that Mizuki frowned "And just where are we to go?" He asked though Luna smiled at this.

"You are going to my home town down in the southern mountains" She spoke with a smile "I sent word to my brother and father weeks ago and everything is ready and waiting for arrival down to an esscort to the hotsprings my people are known for" She said with a smile and nod. At this Mizuki looked to Thalion with a shrug of his shoulders "I would be rude to decline such an offer" He said with a shrug. "Besides...it would be nice for some alone time" He said to Thalion with a smile.

"Then its settled!" Luna said before pushing Mizuki towards the cart as Felix did the same to Thalion. "Alright alright!" Mizuki hissed as he climbed into the cart and grabbed the reins. This was when the cuffs were removed from Thalion before Felix lifted the male and placed him on the seat beside Mizuki. "Dont worry about anything we will be fine!" Bel said with a smile and Amonar nodded "Dont worry okay..." He said with a soft smile as Nytia nodded.

"A what..." He almost seemed dumbfounded that such a word was brought up. He didn't think they worked too much.. sure they only really got a few moments during the day to spend with one another. There was always the nights though they were together then so what was the problem. Though it seemed Mizuki voiced what his thoughts were that things had to be done.

Not that it worked as Belquiri and Nytria reminded them both that they were old enough and trained well enough to take over for a while. The kingdom wouldn't fall apart without them here. This did not make Thalion any less relaxed about being forced into this. Not to mention what Luna said as far as where they were being forced to go.

"Oh great.. this sounds like fun already.." At the thought of it being in a dragonkin town or near one. they were all going to act like Luna.. that would be his luck. Though Mizuki seemed to take to the offer by this time, and mentioning some time would be nice. Yeah it would but there were some things that he knew wouldn't be done while they were gone.

Ryza finally spoke up at this point too seeing as the group of them had arranged this. "This is a vacation... no sparring for either of you and no training. We'll know if you do." She huffed and crossed her arms being serious about it. Vaden nodded in agreement. Though Thalion was going to protest this as he went on to say that things needed to be packed or there needed to be a list made of what needed to be done.

"That is already taken care of young lords." Was Vaden's reply as Belquiri and Nytria nodded. Having took care of everything down to the last detail. This was when Luna spoke up that it was settled and started pushing Mizuki forward. Felix doing so with Thalion as well. Though he waited till the last moment to remove the cuffs before forcing Thal beside Mizuki.

"don't worry they say.. whats the worse that could happen... " Thalion sighed giving up. "We'll get a report the castle burnt down won't we.." Felix shrugged a little. "A fire that can take out stone will be impressive. If anything goes wrong you'll both be the first to know. But till then relax damn it! Hell grow a beard before you come back, it is a vacation and you shouldn't be worrying about anything.

Thalion rolled his eyes at Felix saying don't worry. "Right... Think I'll pass on that thanks.. " Felix waved this off saying elves probably couldn't grow one anyway. That had been a long term debate between Felix and Thalion. He had convinced Felix that elves couldn't. Well till Damien came around seeing as he kept a small well kept beard.

Either way they had no choice in it now as Luna shut the door and gave final instructions to the driver. Well this was great, taken from his work and forced on a trip? Let alone he wasn't even allowed to change clothes as Felix said that gave him too much of a chance to run. Though Felix did hand Mizuki the cuffs saying if he got misbehaving too much just put them back on.

Mizuki laughed as Felix handed him the cuffs "Oh yes thats a great idea though I think it needs to wait until later" He said with a little wiggle of his eye brows before Luna growled "Thats to much information!" She said before Felix laughed and the cart was on its way. Mizuki sighed as he leaned back into the seat as he rubbed his face a little "How on earth did this happen..." He said with a groan.

After that the traveling time was a long one. Almost a week in time until they started to see the mountains in view. From there the rest of the day was spent reaching the drop off point where they were supposed to meet their guide. Luna didnt say who it was they were to meet but as they pulled up to a border town he could only guess.

Off to the side infront of a tavern inn stood a dragonoid. This male was tall with two curling and winding horns atop his head. Light blue and white scales covered a pale grey body as the male stood with a cloak on around his shoulders. Short dark blue hair fell around a soft face and partly covering a scared blind eye.

As the cart came to a stop Mizuki was the first to get out though he didnt get a chance to speak as the male before him stepped forward "Mizuki I presume?" The male said and looking past him as Thalion left the cart "And Thalion" He said with a nod of his head "I am Cornice" He said with a smile "My sister sent many a word of you and your travels must of been long" He said with a smile and a dip of his head. From there the male walked to the carriage and paying the driver with instructions to stay at the inn he got the two of them to get back on before heading off down the road.

"Im sorry for the way things are done but we try and keep a low profile" Cornic said with a smile. "Well thank you for taking the time to get us" Mizuki said with a nod though the male shook his head "Not at all it was my pleasure" He nodded a little as he continued on "My sister said her kings were in need of some time alone so I have taken the liberty of making something simple in a cut off part of the springs" Cornic began to explain "Everything you will need for a weeks time is there" he explained.

"Oh and one more thing..." He said with a smirk "My sister informed me that a drow under my care hates the titles of lord" He seemed to smile at this "So no one besides my self and my father know of your titles so even if another was to find the back springs they would not know who you are" He seemed to say with a little smile and Mizuki couldnt help but sigh at this. "A week with no title or worry...sounds to good to be true" He said before he rested his head on Thalions shoulder beside him.

To say that it was a long week was a understatement. At one point he almost pleaded with Mizuki to go back. A week without training and having nothing to do he was going to go mad before the period was up. Though each time Mizuki told him to just take the time off and who knew when they'd get the chance to be alone like this again. Well.. that was true enough.

Either way they seemed to arrive at the town where they were to meet their escort. Not that Thalion thought they needed one if they were just being dropped off in the middle of no where. Also the fact that the two of them could probably manage to take care of themselves well enough that was for sure. Least he didn't have to worry about Mizuki getting on his case to train magic as they both feared Ryza's wrath if they did attempt any training.

Right away they were greeted by a dragonkin. Yep he was thrilled already. Dealing with Luna was enough of a hassle let alone dragons he worked with on a daily basis but now to be near a whole town of them. Oh yes he couldn't think of anywhere he'd rather be. Though as they were greeted he merely nodded a little to let the male know he was right. Though it seemed this was Luna's brother. Though he seemed a hell of a lot more relaxed then she ever was that was for sure. Surely they weren't that different though.

Listening to Cornic and Mizuki exchange a bit of small talk he half wasn't paying attention. Not till the mentioning of no titles and no one here knew besides himself and his father. When Mizuki spoke Thalion smirked a little. "Sounds like my life before I got tangled up with you." He was just teasing even if it were true.

It was true though, when Mizuki first met him he had disposed of all traces of his title. Hell the few times he fought Mizuki and was asked who he was and answered just a blacksmith were still amusing to him. Back then it was exactly what he was. Also back then he had planned to stay just as that.. a no one. Boy did that plan ever get changed.

Though a thought of no worried made Thalion groan as he had one already. "By the goddess.. I hope that slacker I keep as a Second for the riders doesn't forget the shadow dragon has to have that collar on at all times... " Without the dragon could phase through walls so the pen it was held in was useless without the collar. This trip was going to make him take up drinking again just so he would stop thinking on everything wouldn't it..

Mizuki looked to Thalion as the male explained about the dragon "You worrie way to much" Mizuki sighed a little after that "You need to have faith for once alright" He said to him though as Thalion began to protest Mizuki huffed and lifting his head off the males shoulder he crossed his arms "I did not travel a weeks time to come all the way out here just to have you worrie constantly over something" He said with a growl.

Mizuki was a little angry but it was nothing serious. Cornice looked to the two at this "Luna did say you two were anything but exuberant" he laughed a little at that. Mizuki huffed at that "Yeah yeah she tells me the same thing over and over" He said with his sigh but his words ended as they came to a mouth of a cave and Cornice turned the cart into it.

At the mouth of the cave was a little dark but the deeper they got things began to change. Lanterns began to light the way after so long and the deeper they got into the mountains. After a little while Cornice turned to them and smiled "Welcome to Dystaria" He said as the narrow passage opened up to a large open cave. Houses and shops were carved into stone and each stone was hand carved and now covered in vines and thickets from years of growth.

Mizuki smiled as he looked around. There were small dragons perched on houses or flying in the air as larger ones slept off to the sides. Dragonoids walked everywhere as well with the odd mix of a different race here and there. Mizuki smiled at the sight before him though looking to Thalion and feeling through the link Mizuki could tell Thalion was all but pleased.

Cronice from there travled down the main road saying his hellos to some as they went but soon they entered into another passage way. "Just how far are we heading?" Mizuki asked him and Cornice smiled "The springs rest deep into the heart of the mountain. They are heated from a sleeping volcano close to here" Cornice said with a smile. "My family owns a...resort if you will." he explained. This was when the passage opened again to a large cavern but already the heat difference was apparent.

After awhile Cornice stopped the cart infront of a small house. "This is where you will be staying" He said with a smile as he got out "Your bags and supplies will be brought in for you so fallow me" He said lightly before he turned and began to head for the door of the small house. Mizuki smiled as he looked to Thalion "Just...try to enjoy it...at least for me" He said giving him a little sad smile before he fallowed Cornice.

Entering the house Mizuki smiled. Off to one side of the room was a single large bed and across from that was a table with two chairs. Beside the table and chairs rested a kitchen that seemed to be fully stocked. At the end of the bed and in the wall rested a bathroom big enough for a bath and little extras. Going through the house it was led back into a single large spring. The roof over head was carved in patterns and the walls were stone pillars. The pool itself was stone that started shallow before leading deeper to benches for sitting.

Everything seemed to unreal to Mizuki as he looked around. Lanterns hung almost everywhere to provide the otherwise dark space with light. After everything was seen out back they entered into the house and everything already seemed to be in and waiting. Mizuki thought that to be interesting he didnt hear or see anyone. Though his thought seemed to end as Cornice spoke "This is your home for the next week so feel free to explore if you like" He said with a smile.

"I hear that you are quite the herb enthusiast Mizuki" Cornice said "We have some interesting herb shops in the village we passed as well as some herb galleries in the main house where you are more then welcome" He said with a smile before turning to Thalion "Then I also hear that you my friend have a talent with blades and crafting. As it stands we have some of the best forgeries in the country" Cornice said "If you wish to see them let me know and I will more then happy be your guide" With that he gave a bow before taking his leave with a goodbye.

After the door was shut and the male left Mizuki turned to Thalion "Im still made at you" He said with a playfull pout as he crossed his arms and stood there infront of Thalion "Is it to much to ask that for a week its just us...no worries or cares?" He asked with a tilt of his head "Oh I guess im just not that special" He said with a shrug as he turn away from Thalion. Mizuki knew that the link gave it away. Yes he was a little angry but the playfulness over powered that at the moment.

"Faith.. you tell me to have faith when I don't believe in such things?" Though he shut up when Mizuki said he didn't travel a week just to have him worry over things constantly. Let alone things that were a weeks travel out of his hands at the moment. He really was expecting some report of the castle being burnt down or something before they returned back though.

When Cornice spoke up about what Luna said Thalion shrugged a little. "Least thats one of the nicer things she could have said." True enough, him and Luna hardly got along even on a good day. They tolerated one another was about it. Once in a while they exchanged words that didn't end with the pair of them annoyed at the other but it was rare at best.

Though a few moments later they seemed to enter a cave that lead to the city they were headed towards. Cornice speaking of the cities name. Mizuki seemed excited about all of this. Though the last thing Thalion wanted to see was more dragons. He was sick of them, he didn't like having to deal with them to be honest and he had no idea why his family seemed to be tied to the beasts as they were. Sure the place was impressive.. but still.

Though after a while they seemed to go through another tunnel as Mizuki asked where they were going or rather how far. Their escort explained where they were going and after a little while longer they seemed to finally be free of traveling. Ok so to admit it he was a bit excited about the mentioning of a volcano. Yes the drow city was in mountains but none of them held active volcanoes anymore. Though that might be his element type getting the better of him.

Either way Mizuki spoke up to him to try to enjoy this for him at least. Thalion sighed a little. "Only for you." He said as a bit of a smart remark following the other. Though to be honest about it he was already happy with the temperature difference. Though he wasn't sure how long Mizuki would enjoy it.

Either way it was said this was to be their home for the next week and their guide seemed to go on to say that there were shops and such. Though he had to admit he didn't have as much interest as he should probably have or would normally have in hearing such information. Though he had heard the tales of the crafts from this place that was for sure. Maybe after not being exhausted from the trip and having too much free time to do nothing but think he'd bother with caring.

Either way he didn't get much of a chance to think of any of this as Mizuki spoke he was still mad and Thalion flinched a little. "what?" He blinked a little not expecting that from Mizuki as the other seemed to pout a little. Though Mizuki seemed to go on to ask if it was too much to ask and that he wasn't that special. Sure he could tell that the there was being more playful then angry but still. There was the hint of it there.

He sighed finally before stepping forward and pulling Mizuki against him keeping his arms around the other's waist. "It is when you normally work with the beasts that could destroy the castle if left untrained.. " He started before kissing Mizuki's neck lightly. "Maybe now that I don't have all the free time in the world to think on it though.." Not being trapped in a carriage was a good start of not thinking about it.

"You know .. you're cute when you pout." He said teasing the other a little. Though he thought for a moment before rolling his eyes slightly. "I guess a week away from everything won't be too bad... least she didn't send us to the other mountains where we'd have t deal with blizzards.."

Mizuki pouted even as Thalion pulled him in and held him there with his arms around his waist. Though as he spoke Mizuki only pouted more, it was the kiss on the neck that dimmed it a little as Thalion began that it wouldnt be the end of the world "No it wouldnt" Mizuki said as he uncrossed his arms and put them around Thalions neck. "You dont need to worry" Mizuki said "Nytria and Bel are well over the age to handle things not only that but Vaden and Ryza are there for help" He said with a little sigh.

"Not only that but there are others as well" He said with a little smile "How about instead of worrying for the whole week of what you could go wrong you think of something else?" He said with a tilt of his head. This was when Mizuki got a smile as he leaned in and gave Thalion a soft slow kiss before pulling back. "I know of some things that you could think of instead" He said lightly as he looked at Thalion with soft eyes.

Leaning in he kissed the males cheek "Like my kisses..." Mizuki began as he moved those said kisses across the cheek and over a jaw line until he reached the space under Thalions ear. Giving a lick there he smiled a little before moving his hands from the males neck and down strong arms "Or my touches..." Mizuki whispered into a dark pointed ear before lightly nipping it. Hearing Thalion growl a little he smirked before pulling back.

Shrugging a little he sighed "But I guess if you would rather think about dragons and the like its your choice" He said as he moved and began to head for the bags that needed to be unpacked. Mizuki loved the games that they played so it was natural that when he had the chance he did them.

"Heh.. saying Ryza is helping doesn't help the cause for not worrying." That was true enough, though he knew Vaden would make sure she did't kill the trainees.. well he hoped. She could get out of hand every so often. But Mizuki was right the twins were well old enough to handle things let alone during a time of peace.

Though Mizuki went on to say there were others as well and that he should try to think of other things then everything that could go wrong. He smirked a little already having his own thoughts on other things. Though Mizuki was helping that for sure as he leaned in and kissed him before speaking.

Though Mizuki seemed to go on and say what he thought Thalion should think about. Let alone the teases to go along with the words. Though he knew Mizuki was right, this was suppose to be their vacation, the only thing that should be on their mind is no worrying and each other. The thought sort of died as Mizuki pulled back about the time he was starting to really enjoy what the other was doing.

He frowned a little as Mizuki spoke and moved to go mess with one of the bags that had things that needed to be unpacked in it. Though unpacking could wait seeing as Mizuki started this. Walking a little he went over to the other before grabbing Mizuki and getting him to face him before pinning him against the wall.

"Tease.." He growled a little before kissing the other holding one of Mizuki's hands. "Starting something and not finishing it.. did you really think you were going to unpack after that?" He smirked a little before going on to use the other's words against him. "Besides.. we're not suppose to worry right? So worry about unpacking later."

Mizuki counted down the time it took Thalion to reach him after he left the males side. Mizuki knew the weak spots that Thalion had and just how to play on them. It was something he took pride in to say the least so as he left the males side and headed for the bags it was only a matter of time before Thalion disagreed with his actions. He was all to right as he felt those hands grab him before the male seemed to push him into the closest wall.

Grabbing one of his hands and holding it before Thalion leaned in and kissed him with the breath of a tease as he did. Yes he was a tease though he knew that Thalion wouldnt have it any other way. Though as Thalion asked if he thought he was really going to unpack after that he couldnt help the smirk that came to his lips as he moved his free arm to rest on Thalions shoulder as he curled a pale hand into red hair "I was thinking about it..." He said with a smile.

This though was when Thalion spoke "Besides.. we're not suppose to worry right? So worry about unpacking later." Yes that was a thought. The bags could sit there all week for all he cared at the moment "I do suppose you have a point" Mizuki said before he used the hand in the males hair to bring Thalion in for a kiss before pulling him back with the same hand "So then my king..." Mizuki said lightly "Make me forget my worries..." He said with a growl before he brought Thalion in again but instead of pale lips finding darker ones they found the pointed tip of an ear.

He knew Mizuki teased him just to get him to do as he wanted. Not that he cared it wasn't like it wasn't something they both wanted. Also he could tell by the link they had what Mizuki had on his mind. He was counting on the other to go after him. Who was he to ignore such a request?

Though Mizuki seemed to play on this still as he said he supposed that Thalion had a point. Though as he spoke again Thalion shook his head a little with a bit of a smirk. They were on vacation with no titles oh he knew what he was saying just for kicks. "Not this week.. just a blacksmith." Similar words got him started into all of this. Mizuki had demanded who he was back then.

He moved a little before biting Mizuki's neck lightly and kissing the spot afterwards. Ok not he really wasn't minding the slight difference in the heated air compared to what they were use to. He could get use to this to be honest as it seemed to add to the feeling of everything for him. Though the back of his mind held a worry about how Mizuki would take to it. Woodelves were not known to have a high tolerance for heat.

Mizuki smirked at that. Yes it was true they did say no titles and here he was using one. "You are completely right..." Mizuki said as Thalion said he was nothing more hen a blacksmith. Mizuki remembered the time when he demanded a title from the male before him. This was back when they first met and Mizuki was sure that the male had a different title then the simple one that he gave. He was proved right in the long run with out even knowing it.

Mizuki couldnt help the growl the escaped his lips as he tilted his head back as the bite reached his neck. Then those lips kissed away the little sting of pain that rested there but he was not complaining. The heat of the area combined with the actions Thalion started doing it was getting to him and Mizuki had no choice but to give into the male before him. Soft kisses and firm touches were his greeting through everything and Mizuki couldnt help his words "My blacksmith..." as they continued.

It was not until they stood where they were breathing heavy that Mizuki decided it was time to move. Lifting his head from the males shoulder he rested it on the wall behind him as he looked to Thalion. "Hmmm I would say not a worrie in the world rests with me right now...besides sleep" He said with a yawn and a little stretch. The trip was long and the actions after did not help even if they were needed to Mizuki and the male before him.

Getting the male to move he leaned in before and gave a quick kiss before he did pull back and away. After that Mizuki went about and did some things and going through the clothes that were packed for him he found something he didnt like. There were no robes or pants to be found though once he reached another bag he pulled out a letter and reading it he frowned "You have got to be kidding me..." He said. Though as Thalion asked him what he passed the male the note.

"Dear papa!
We took the chance to broaden your style,
Not only that but where you are going is to hot for robes.
So take the clothes that are packed and suck it up!
We love you two!
The kids"

Mizuki frowned as he held up the supposed clothes that he was supposed to where. It was a simple shirt that was bound together at the waist by a tie that flowed long and light. Thin shorts were made to cut off just above his knee and he frowned. Digging in the back more he found more clothes but he smiled at them. Hearing the little laughter from the male behind him he turned and threw some clothes at him "I wouldnt laugh to hard" He said with a smirk.

It seems that the kids also packed different clothes for Thalion ranging from sleeveless shirts to shorts as well. At the males scowl he gave a little laugh. Though he couldnt help but frown "This is hardly fair!" Mizuki said as he pouted though he didnt stop as he removed his robes and already the heat difference made him sigh a little.

Changing to the shorts he didnt bother with a shirt as he said screw it before moving away an climbing into the bed. He was looking forward to the vacation with the male but the one thing that would take time in getting used to was heat. In the back of his mind he wondered how long he would last in the steam before over heating. Though with that came another thought. How many spells of ice did he know? Shaking his head lightly he sighed a little "Come to bed babie..." He said with a yawn as he laid there.

He was stretching a little as Mizuki went to unpack the clothes he was guess or change for starters. Though the other seemed to pause as he moved a little asking what was up. With that Mizuki handed him a little note that he glanced over. Hrm... he knew that they should have done some packing of their own.

Though at the same time the kids had a point, they were use to a cooler area. Not only that but Mizuki wouldn't admit to being too hot if his life depended on it just for the fact of being stubborn and not wanting to wear anything besides the robes he normally wore. Though it seemed the kids didn't forget about their dad. Even if he wasn't affected by the heat they probably did it so Mizuki didn't feel like they were torturing him alone.

Either way Mizuki held up what they were expecting him to wear as Thalion laughed a bit finding the faces he was making more then funny. Though that laughing died as Mizuki said he wouldn't laugh too hard and threw some clothes at him. He frowned at what was tossed at him.

His ears dropped a little looking at the shirt alone let alone the excuse for pants, well shorts. "Really... " He sighed knowing he had little choice in things now. Well this wasn't going to be as relaxing as he thought. Oh well, he guessed it was fair in a way. If they were going to make Mizuki wear something different by not torture them both in one go.

Either way he sighed a little not looking forward to this trip much more. The only good thing was that they both got time together. Maybe they could hide here for most of the trip to avoid going out in these clothes. He doubted Mizuki would be happy staying here though. Never the less he changed clothes though he was hardly happy, on his mind him and that shirt would fight in the morning... though something told him Bel had something to do with that shirt..

Though Mizuki spoke up causing him to get pulled from his thoughts as he moved to walk over to the bed and join the other before pulling him close for a moment. "Not sure how you'll sleep.. you already feel warm." Though Mizuki seemed to ignore that and curled against Thalion as he normally did. Though that didn't last too long as sometime through the night Mizuki had rolled away, probably too hot finally.

Morning came around and Mizuki still seemed to be fast asleep. Though Thalion had given up on sleeping by now. He could count how many times he felt Mizuki roll over or stir, probably trying to find a cool spot. Never the less he was up for the day. IT was weird almost to not have Ryza breathing down his neck that he slept too long or that he needed to train.

Stretching a little he got up to figure out something to do. Though his first task was that shirt... oh yes him and Bel were going to have a talk. He knew she was behind it because of the style it was. Either way he had little choice in it now as he put the sleeveless shirt on and rolled his eyes as soon as that was through. Well Mizuki might not mind, yep Bel was behind this, none of the others would dare to put form fitting clothes. It wasn't that he looked bad in them but he rather liked the looser shirts he normally wore. This was going to take getting use to.

Though he got a idea about that time. They had no servants or anyone waiting on them. Whatever reason this made him thrilled suddenly as he went to see what exactly they did have here. Seemed supplies for whatever they could possibly think of. Perfect was his thought as he got to work right away.

It wasn't that he really enjoyed cooking but after not having to or rather not being able to for so long it was a nice change. Let alone Mizuki will be happy to know that nothing spicy was cooked. Ah yes.. this was more relaxing then anyone would ever know. He hated not doing simple things over the years when he had grown use to doing them himself.

As Thalion came to the bed and spoke Mizuki sighed a little. It was true he himself didn't know howblong he would last but he wanted to try as he took his place pike always and snuggled into Thalions side. As the night went on though he became to hot and even though he didnt want to Mizuki ended up moving away from Thalion. Even tyough he was away from the male the heat got him throughout the night and he found himself tossing and turning in an attempt to find a cooler place to sleep. It worked for awhile but soon enough Mizuki gave up and sighed as he rolled over though he frowned as he didn't feel Thalion.

Opening his eyes Mizuki sat up and giving a stretch he yawned before moving and getting out of the bed. Walking over to Thalion he gave the male a kiss on the back of the neck as the male cooked "morning..." Mizuki said with a yawn before he moved away and sat in one of the two chairs. Mizuki was hot and sweaty and he felt like iy. His hair was frizzy and hardly made his braid a sight to see "I think Okay have to do something else with my hair..." He said with a frown as he pulled it over his shoulder and looked at it "this heat is not my friend" he said with a little laugh as he looked to Thalion.

"Also I was thinking that we could go see those forges soon" he said with a smile "don't even say that you dont want to" Mizuki said with a smile to Thalion "I know you dear and I know how you felt the reaction when we were told we could go see them" Mizuki said with a smirk "you can't hide from me remember" he said with a smile as he crossed his legs and leaned back in the chair.

"Well.. it's more of afternoon but either way." He shrugged a little though he could tell Mizuki was miserable. It was expected though, woodelves were not use to heat as it was let alone being forced to stay somewhere that was humid at all times. For once he didn't mind being a fire user seeing as heat never bothered him. Well so far, there was probably a limit to it somewhere.

Though Thalion had to laugh listening to the other complain about his hair and that he had to do something else with it. "And you wonder why I keep mine short.. I'm sure you'll figure something out." It was Mizuki and it had to do with his hair. He'd figure something out before the days end.

Mizuki started talking again about the time Thalion set a plate in front of him. Though he was about to say he didn't really want to go as Mizuki reminded him he couldn't hide that he did. "Heh... yeah I remember, hard to forget." He sighed a little before setting the second plate down and taking the other chair. "Honestly I hate being this close to the element in its pure form like this..." He seemed a little annoyed at the thought. "It made it hard to focus on sleep."

Pure forms of elements normally called to the ones who wielded their power, so Thalion had never been near any source of this size so of course it was hard to keep focus as he wanted to. "Besides.." He started remembering part of the conversation from yesterday. "I think you'd rather go look at those herbs even if you melt in the process of it. We're here for a week, pretty sure the forges aren't going anywhere." Anything to get out of going near them, he wanted to but not at the same time.

Though he did frown a little after a moment. "Least its eatable.. " He sighed a moment later thinking on it. "Right.. heat difference here.. didn't count on that. It'll be better tomorrow."

As Thalion spoke about his pure element Mizuki smiled. Yes it was true that it was harsh for at times. Though it was getting to Mizuki the most. Even though he had a talent in the use of all elements his main focus was frost and ice. So least to say it was different was an understatement. Though as Thalion spoke of sleep Mizuki looked to him "You had trouble sleeping..." He said lightly "I swear im freezing that room before bed..." He said though he sighed "K...maybe not that extreme...but you get my point."

The next part Thalion spoke of was true enough. The region had some herbs that he could only get here not to mention the fact that traders go through these parts as often as the dragonkin that live here. "Well you know we can do both...though I do want some time with just you" He said with a smirk as the foot on his crossed leg rubbed up Thalions with a smile.

After that he began to eat and he smiled as Thalion said it was eatable "Its perfect" Mizuki said with a smile "I missed your cooking" Mizuki smiled before continuing to eat. After that was over he went and put his dishes away before he looked to Thalion "Okay im going to have a bath and...do something with this friz I call hair" He said with a pout as he walked over. Bending down he gave Thalion a kiss before heading to the bathroom.

After awhile he came out dressed with his hair done on the top of his head in a bun made of three different braids. It was loose and kept off his neck so he was happy. The shirt or lack there of was sleeveless and the v in the front showed most of his chest. Shorts cut off to just above pale knees and Mizuki stood there with a blush on his cheeks "This...is not okay" He said with a groan "I hardly look flattering" He said with a pout as he crossed his arms.

Thalion smirked a little as Mizuki said he was freezing the bed. "Go for it, you turned and tossed most of the night. Not sure Luna and the others took into account how not use to hotter areas you are." He was a wood elf why would he be use to them? "Maybe then you can stay close even if you have to freeze me in the process." He said teasing a little.

"true.." He said towards they could do both. Though he was at a bit of a cross roads of not wanting to be that close to the forges, let alone dragons. They made him feel uneasy even if he hid it well. Plus this area had fully grown dragons and thus far the only one he had dealt with that were that old was the Elder one and the rogue that nearly killed him as a child.

Though he looked back towards Mizuki as the other said he wanted some alone time. "Oh I'm sure we'll get alone time. They did drop us off in the middle of no where.." He smirked a little at the thought. "Might want to be careful though, don't want you to pass out from overheating now do we?" He was just teasing or so he thought, though it was a valid point.

"Perfect? As if... I've done better." He sighed a little as Mizuki said it was perfect, though the other went on to say he missed his cooking. "I think I'm going to kick our kitchen staff out once in a while ... I oddly miss it, not having to give someone a damned order of what to fix." Silly simple things he missed. He always would so long as they were in the positions they were in.

After Mizuki got up and left to fix his hair or try to Thalion went about cleaning the dishes and waiting for the other to finish that war. Though soon enough Mizuki finally walked out and spoke as Thalion turned to look at him. The blush and everything was perfect if you asked him though Mizuki said he hardly looked flattering. "Is that what you think?"

He said before walking over to the other and kissing him. "I beg to differ, I like it. Unless you were trying to get one of these dragonkins to pay attention to you on this trip." Though he wasn't being serious about that. "Besides I think we're both stuck in clothing we don't want to be in so we'll just have to suffer together." He paused a moment before enjoying another thought. "Or take them off.. either way."

As Mizuki stood there with his head turned down as he fiddled with the clothe belt that hung at his waist. He was hardly a fan of the new clothes the kids seemed to think he woul look good in. Mizuki kept with his robes for a reason. His skin was pale and do to lack of bulked muscle he looked a little frail at times. Yes he did have muscle and alot was defined but not as much as it could of been.

However his thoughts ended there as he heard Thalion speak about what he thought. "Its true!" Mizuki said in a huff as he stood there. Though this was when he heard Thalion walk over before the male brought him him and kissing him spoke "I beg to differ, I like it. Unless you were trying to get one of these dragonkins to pay attention to you on this trip." Okay that earned Thalion a glare before he sighed some "Not even close..." He said in a groan.

"Besides I think we're both stuck in clothing we don't want to be in so we'll just have to suffer together." However at those words Mizuki growled a little "Easier for you to say!" He said to him "You at least have your chest covered!" Mizuki spoke as he tightened his arms across his almost bare chest. "If I was not worried of over heating I would so be wearing and washing those robes everyday" He said in sigh.

Though as Thalion said they could either suck it up or take them off he smirked "Oh really now..." He said with a smile as he placed a hand on Thalions chest "We could do something like that" He said before he trailed his hand over that chest with his finger lightly grazing the underside of a nipple with a smirk before it was pulled back "Then again why bother taking them off...we hardly have anything on as it is!" He said with a growl and a another pout as his ears dipped back.
