"So I'm a cat, not a fish?" Fin asked, a little amused. Some of the stress seemed to start leaving him.

Nic nodded a little before going to a lonely corner of the boat.

"Kitten," Frei replied without hesitation.

"Why am I a kitten?" Fin asked.

Frei stared at his hair before looking his body over again, she didn't say a word.

"I'm still growing," Fin defended, a little embarrassed. "And Fin is short for my real name."

Frei didn't look all the interested as she looked over at the pool.

"So what are you then?" Fin asked Frei.

"Frei," she stated.

"What animal are you?" Fin clarified.

Frei turned and blinked at Fin.

So Fin thought about it a moment. "... A bunny," he decided.

Frei blinked again before looking at the giant slide.

Fin followed Frei's glance. "... You going to go down it or what?" Fin asked her.

Frei looked back at Fin, she seemed to be waiting.

Fin glanced back at Frei, confused. "You scared?" he asked. He wasn't being mean or teasing her. It was just a question.

Frei pointed to a small building which held spare swimsuits.

"... Really?" he asked, not believing that he had been kidnapped to spend time at a pool with a girl who thought he was a kitten.

Frei blinked once more.

After some deliberating, he asked as he adjusted his backpack, "Is there a place where my stuff will be safe?"

Frei blinked and pointed at Fin's feet. Apparently everywhere was safe.

Fin didn't seem so sure. But he went to the building and came out a few minutes later in swim trunks. He had hidden his backpack and clothes somewhere inside. Around his neck Frei could now see a necklace with a simple silver wing charm attached to a thicker chain to make it a little more manly.

Frei stared at the necklace, "Dangerous," she stated, dangerous to go down the slide in that.

Fin didn't notice or didn't care. "How's the water?" he asked Frei instead.

Frei turned and walked towards the slide.

Fin went over to the side of the pool instead. He nodded at the water a bit before turning around and doing a back flip with a little shout into the pool.

Frei's eyes widened slightly as she walked over to where he had jumped in.

Fin's head popped up right where he had jumped in and he chuckled a bit to himself. "The water is warm," he told her, satisfied as he tread water in place. He seemed to be a pretty decent swimmer.

"Fish," Frei stated blankly.

"Now I'm a fish?" Fin clarified, amused.

Frei didn't reply as she turned and headed towards the slide.

Fin didn't say anything as he swam around a bit, waiting for Frei to go down the slide.

Frei did, grinning happily the entire way down- the first real emotion he'd seen on her face. When she hit the water she came up but was struggling a little as she tried to get to the side.

Fin swam around Frei a little before helping her to the side.

Frei was a bit tense when he touched her. When she got to the side she looked at him, "Who are you?" she suddenly demanded.

Fin blinked as he rested with his arms on the side of the pool. "... Fin," he replied.

Frei frowned a little, "Who are you?" she repeated. Why had Kale bothered to bring this runt back?

Fin seemed hesitant to say more about himself. "... A fish?" he tried.

Frei continued to stare at him blankly, "Who are you?" She didn't seem daunted.

After another moment Fin asked, "Will you tell them?"

Frei blinked and tilted her head a little.
