): [/is in Texas] My bff/roommate's actually on state level probation right now. I'm on a probation with the school only for it. Decided to trust one of my friends one night instead of taking matters into my own hands (the only time I've done so in my life and I'll never do it again. My friends call me paranoid but the ONE time I decided to relax shit went down), so we had a run in with the cops. Getting searched by the cops is an awful feeling. I still get an awful pit in my stomach every time I see a cop car even tho' I haven't smoked in months.

Wow...I have never had issues with that...though for me its on a higher aspect. My mother works with the goverment and...yeah bad things could happen if I got charged lol so I keep it usually to my self and friends/family that smoke also lol

I'm always super careful about it. I know it's illegal and I could get into some serious shit for it. All my friends know and all that, one of our favorite things to do was to go on drives, someone driving and then we could just toss it out the window on a highway. A lot of people did that unsafely, me and my roommate were hailed as the safest people to be with. We had this awesome friend who wanted to do that so bad but none of his friends were safe about it. He rode with us once and the only thing he could keep saying was "I feel super comfortable with you guys. You're smart about it and you make sure that you're always safe and you're never gonna get caught." We were known as those people. So when I walked up to the dorm, bawling my eyes out about the arrest everyone was shocked.
But we'd had a few drinks so we weren't fit to drive and one of our friends told us he would and we could hang out. So we were down with that. It was his shit, his car, him driving. He CUT OFF a fucking cop car. =/ I'm the only one that knows how to roll things so I had it on me and we still had a joint lit when the lights turned on. I crushed it in my palm and cut it up with my fingernails and let it sprinkle out the window as dust (the cop was so pissed when he couldn't find the joint. Called in TWO officers to search the entire area to find it). As we were driving and pulling to a stop I kept asking the guy what to do with it but NO ONE in the car would do anything or say anything. So I tucked it into my clothes, of course i'm the first one pulled out of the car, I get searched, and all I can think is "I'm going to jail." They get pulled out of the car, and I'm on federal loans that would get yanked if I got in trouble for it, but whatever, I had it on me, even if it's his, I'm not gonna argue, 'cause that's the one rule, you NEVER argue in front of the cops or else everyone goes to jail. I put the torn baggie (who the hell keeps it in flimsy see through cellophane?) and put it on the hood of the car and he checks my teeth and I had eaten pizza earlier with some oregano on it and he comments on a speck that's left like "did you eat it" and I wanted to say "No fucker, it's on the hood of the car, if I'd tried to eat it, it'd be all gone". And as they're getting ready to write me up and take me in my friend speaks up, not the guy who's car it is or who the shit belongs to, her, and says "it's mine". Again, you don't argue in front of the cops. So I have to sit there and watch her get hauled away to jail. I bailed her out of jail so there's that but I was a wreck, and I got a referral to the dean's office for "suspected possession". Which means I'm not allowed on housing or dinning property for two years. |
Even though cops in Quebec could care less about hunting down teenagers and young adults who smoke I'm still very careful. I just don't feel like being searched or having anything that belongs to me taken away. Y'know? I prefer to smoke in my yard, at a friend's house. Anywhere that isn't a parking lot of a Tim Hortons or other sketch shit. >___> |
I hate it when someone wants to roll in a parking lot or wants to smoke in a public place, it really bothers me. Going for a walk is different, it looks like a cigarette and no one is like looking for people specifically smoking that stuff so they don't notice. But yeah. >___> |
....o.o....Wow I have never had issues like that...well I mean there was this one time my sister and I were comming back from a friends house that was out of city. We had about an hours ride home. About 30 mins out side of the city we spark a Jay. Got about 3 four miles when we saw flashing lights behind us. Great we thought. You know it reeks of pot, smokes filling the car...it was night so we didnt care and hot boxed lol.
Anyways...we watched the lights for a little while and the krept closer and closer and now we hear the sirens hey so we put out the halfer roll down windows and continue driving. We loose the cars so we decide to spark it back up. Just was we did three cop cars pulled up on us...and passed us. We slowed down the car a little and watched as they drove up the high way then turned around to the other side where a nasty crash had taken place...I tell you my heart was racing so good then lol Nerria: lmao want to know something funny...one of the places in the city here thats knowen as the "pot smokers paradise" Is the Timmies in the north end. Timmies north is knowen for the stoners that will do nothing but sit in the parking lot and get baked...then go munch. The night crew there smoke as well and could care less its bussiness. Even the cops that go through the drive through or even into the shop dont do anything lol |
I wish you could just walk around here. The smell gives it away tho'. I feel uncomfortable most of the time smoking in public. It's why I miss my friends house so much, we were always safe there. I mean I have my own apartment and a balcony but I stopped smoking out there because of my ex-roommate. She didn't even try to hide it, she'd be so blatant about it that for about 3-4 months when she was living here we'd have a cop drive by every night in front of our balcony. =/ It's why she hates me and ended up moving out, because I would't let her do that shit.
The best thing I've ever had, public wise, is my friend went to Marley Fest and got some cannabis oil, she dipped all of her cigarettes in it and let me have two. I didn't get a lot but I did get a nice buzz and it didn't smell at all. The only other time I've felt comfortable walking around is when we had the "Snowpocalypse" here (Texans see one flake and it's mass spread panic) so no one was out, the snow was thick. So we walked from the dorm to a pizza place halfway across the campus while smoking. Best pizza I ever had. |
Pinkie; ;___; I miss hot boxing. That's what me and one of my friends would do all the time. He had a chillum too so it was easier to smoke in the car. Awesome times and we knew all the back roads around our city so that was fun.
xD OMG. I can imagine. If I knew I didn't have such excellent bladder control I think i would've pissed myself in that situation. Damn. I can imagine how that would've been half a heart attack. |
Cops have scared the shit out me before as well. Once I was with my friends in the back of a parking lot and we had smoked a little bit, we left and I had noticed a car following us. It was Chrystler, forget what type but it was an average day car. My boyfriend told me that he was probably just going to same way as us. He pulled into a car dealership, backed up and started heading a different way then the car that I suspected was following us went straight. But then he suddenly did a u-turn on the road and I started to get worried. We got near a bunch of stores, like IGA, Tim Hortons, etc and turns left, the car went straight and we pulled into the Timmies to exit by the other entrance and as my boyfriend turned around the building the car was there. He had entered through the other way. I started to shake, grabbed my phone and I was about to fucking call the police. My boyfriend backed up, took off and as I was about to hit fucking call he started to flash us and blare his god damn sirens. Fucking asshole. He followed us for nearly a hour, doing stupid shit and it scared us really bad. Then he comes up and says "so what are you guys doing tonight?" and then questions why we were driving around aimlessly. My boyfriend explained that we were trying to lose him because we didn't know he was a cop. He wasn't in uniform, in an unmarked vehicle that police here don't normally use. When he was told that he said "oh... I guess I could see that." then he looked at my boyfriend's license and registration and let us go. Wtf. |
lol Here Oil is easy to come by...you can find different kinds from different strands I find the best for a buzz though would be the honey oil from orange kush...and many people smoke it differently...I have never put it on a cig though...that to me is a little weird =shrugs= To each their own though =nods=
But the only reason its so easy to come by is because its cheap to make with a large profit region lol. Well around here anywise...and I wouldnt really say cheap to make depends on what kind you make =nods= |
My boyfriend and I can walk around and smoke freely. No one looks at us odd but I always get my boyfriend to lower it if someone walks by because I don't want people to smell it and call the police if they're like one of those people who lose their shit over that stuff. I hate using a pipe if we walk and would never use a bong freely just walking about. |

I haven't had much incidents where I have nearly been caught but I can share some stores of when I have nearly been caught and stories of when others have nearly been caught or were caught. xD Another time I was with my boyfriend and his two friends, we were going up a steep hill on this road and he had to gun it to get up it. As we gunned it a cop came down the hill and we were smoking. We tossed it but the cop didn't go after us or anything. |
lol one time the bf a friend and my self were sitting in the park in a parking lot and we just finished having a Jay. A cup pulls up and for some reason comes over to my window (passenger) "Hello...what are we doing tonight?" He asked as he flashed his light in the car "We are just sitting her talking, it really is the only quit place in the city to have a chat" He shines his light on a bottle I had at my feet...your smoking you need drinks so it was a 2L. "You drinking tonight?" I picked the bottle up "No sir its just pop...care for a smell?" He looked at me and shook his head "Well I suggest you three wrap up what your talking about...the park closes in ten minutes"
Yeah that was a head desk moment. We have a large public park in the city but it has a time limit on it of 11pm lol |
Well at least he left you alone right? Once my boyfriend was with his friend, they had smoked and were stargazing by the water. They started to smoke again when a cop car pulled up, two women came out and they were the typical "I'm a woman and I need to be in a tough job and prove myself to the world because I'm a woman" women. LOL. So they were giving them shit, took their stuff and stomped on it. Then called a tow truck company, took my boyfriend's friend's car and when they told the cops that they had no way home the cops said "find a way" and drove off. Yup. Dumb bitches. My boyfriend's friend had to call his mom to get them at three in the morning because these women decided to walk around with sticks up their asses. |

And fuck that cop. I hate it when they do that. =/ We have a lot of cops who do it around here, whether you're smoking or not. You have a car and you're under the age of 30? They'll tail your ass. We used to smoke pipes in the car but then I said "F that" and I made it a rule to have personal joints. 'Cause if you hold them like cigarettes and don't pass it around you're a lot better off than the awkward position you get into smoking a bowl. It took me forever to get used to bongs. xD;; Didn't like it at all at first but then I got used to it. Bubblers are awesome to. And yeah, it's stupid. If I was in another state; I'd probably qualify for medical mj. I've got a lot of muscle issues and stomach issues and it helps out with those. My muscles were formed fucked up as well as my bones, I have trouble eating so it helps that, and I have muscle seizures regularly but it helps that too. xD; It's better than any pill I've ever had to take and I don't feel sick afterwards. Hell I prefer it to drinking but drinking is legal. xD;;; |
I have a problem with anxiety and smoking calms me down, I am capable of preforming tasks that I would normally never do if I did not smoke. I would go to see if I could qualify but it isn't worth bothering, I'm not as bad as some people are. |
And I'll agree on the female cops part. I've NEVER in my life met a decent human being female officer. Like... wtf. Stop it.
Pinkie; That's awesome. The only story I've heard like that, was from a friend. He wasn't even smoking but he'd smoked in his car before and a cop pulled him over just because. He of course gave up all his stuff immediately and the cop took all of his stuff after smelling the baggie and going "good shit". Found out later the cop smoked it all. But that's kinda usual around here. You'd think they'd drug test their officers more often or hell, at least put the same rules on the officers. |
I don't hate cops, I hate assholes. I hate cops who are assholes, and they feel like they constantly need to prove themselves and prove that they are superior simply because they walk around with a shiny piece of metal. And I hate women who constantly feel the need to prove themselves in an apparently 'man world'. = A= |

Neirra; I'm the same way. I haven't been in to get diagnosed so I can't give a sure answer but if you know what SAD is then just about to the 'T' thats how I am. It just calms me down and makes me feel like I'm capable of doing things while not feeling like I'm impaired.
I'd really love to go get a diagnosis for my muscle issues, but that's not gonna happen for a long while in Texas. I should be on pills right now but I HATE pills and the way I feel after them. |
I hate taking pills, I hate being medicated. Yeah I'll take shit if it's the only way to get rid of a specific thing but I feel different when I'm on antibiotics and shit. Smoking helps my back feel better, my muscles if they are sore... It helps put me in a better mood and I don't feel as depressed. It helps me become less anxious and it improves my quality of life. |
Oh I have no issue with officers. I have a lot of friends with family that are cops that I love to death. And at the CC I used to go to we were super close with all of the officers. We had a bike cop that would bike to our smoking area every day and stop every time at our table and we'd just talk about random shit. I have nothing against cops, just a lot of the people that are ALLOWED to be officers.

Oh I know some good cops too, I've dealt with really polite, kind and friendly cops as well. There are always bad people in groups... And of course good. It's just sad that the bad are recognized more often than the good, y'know? And the bad ruin things and make things difficult. |
Nei; I feel ya there. It makes me feel off. >.< I mean hell, I have trouble swallowing advil. My body had just a violent response against pills of any kind, just the physical form of them and what they do to you just doesn't help any at all. And they're so easy to have a problem with. I know I could get hydrocodone prescribed to me for my daily pains but the idea of waking up one morning and not being able to go through my day without that pain pill scares me. It's way too easy to get addicted to those things. So I've always refused them.
I feel like that's what it does for most people. I mean I've watched a few documentaries as to why it's the way it is now, and while it's stupid, I see how it came to be this way and it's only because of a few people with a lot of influence. My favorite comic on this is - lol |
My friend drove a '75 Cadillac and he was nineteen at the time. The car was in pretty good condition and cops thought that it was suspicious that someone who was so young was driving such a nice, classic car. He worked often and had worked hard for it but apparently that wasn't a possibility to this cop. He always suspected that he had Marijuana on him and was a drug dealer and was always smoking. I mean always. He was constantly pulled over by these two specific officers for any reason they could pull out of their asses. He ended up getting rid of his Caddy and getting a '97 Cadillac and they pulled him over and continued to harass him. One day he said "Look, what did I do wrong?" and the officer was going on about bullshit and he said "You pull me over all the time for any reason that you can come up with and I'm fed up of you harassing me." And after that the cops stopped bothering him, probably worried he'd get their badge number and get them in shit. It was really bad, it was harassment. |
I had to be on antibiotics one Summer because my cat bit my foot. I ended up getting a head to toe rash because I was actually allergic to Penicillin. Then I went on more antibiotics, then after that I got strep and went on more. I had never felt so horrible in my entire life, all those pills jammed into me all the time. Then last Summer I thought I had a UTI and was misdiagnosed and went on antibiotics, took them all and it turned out I didn't have one then went on more. I hated every moment of it, I just wanted to finish the pills and be OK. |

My boyfriend had a blue, beat up '89 Caprice Classic before that one but yeah, she was beat up and had to go. He drove his sister's Mazda 3 for a bit ( and hated it to pieces LOL ) then bought this '89 Caprice Classic last Summer. n___n |
