He nodded, "Of course." He led Holden back to the Vette, climbing in and waiting for him as he started the car.
She nodded, "I see.." She looked at her watch, "Holden's flight should be leaving soon..." |
Holden followed Solomon, and got into the car. He sighed not wanting to leave Solomon. "Thank you for letting me see her." He smiled a little as he looked at Solomon.
"Ya." Alicia sighed. "Do you like all of this traveling? I know you tell Holden you do, but I want the truth Melody." She crossed her arms. |
Melody shrugged, "I really don't mind it."
Solomon smiled slightly as he drove off to the airport, "Well, she does belong to you. I can't stop you from seeing her." As he pulled up to the main entrance, he sighed, clenching the steering wheel a bit, "I will contact you if I have spare time while in Ireland..okay?" He really really wanted to be mad at Holden, like he should be, but he found it impossible. He bit the inside of his lip a bit, keeping his eyes forward. |
Holden nodded, "If you do." He smiled. "Thanks for everything Solomon." He nodded not that there was a question posed. "It was nice to see you again Solomon." He rubbed Solomon's shoulder for a moment. He smiled as he got out of the car. He waved as he shut the door. He pulled out his ticket and looked to see what gate he needed to be at. He nodded and quickly ran to his gate.
"Just making sure." Alicia smiled. |
"Yeah..." he muttered even though Holden was already gone. he quickly drove back to his house, teleporting himself to his study once he was in the garage. "Are you happy Alicia? I played nice...now leave me alone." Before she could respond, he broke the link and flopped onto the couch. He knew Holden was in just as much distress as he was; he could sense it the entire time...so why didn't he act?
"Cause you're being stupid," Hayden said as she appeared standing behind the couch. She had to stand on her toes to peer over well enough to see Solomon's face. "You get your butt to that airport right now and go get him. I know you want to..so why don't you?" Solomon growled, "You need to stay out of my mind Hayden...and because I don't think a relationship with him would be..'healthy' as they say. Every time I think we can sit and relax and enjoy our time together, something is always thrown at us..and I'm sick of it. I'd rather sulk for the next..God knows how many years an-" "And go around London being known as Mr. One-Night-Stand? Jeez Solomon, I thought you had better standards for yourself." He sighed a bit, "Just go away Hayden.." "Fine! Ass!" With that she disappeared. |
Holden sighed as he waited for his plane to arrive. It was late, of course. "I hate you Alicia. Things were going fine then you do that to me." He crossed his legs as he sat in the chair.
Alicia sighed, "Fine? You call having ten one night stands when you were in Peru, and one little thing in Australia. That isn't fine Holden, that is a cry for help." She growled slightly. "Fuck you Alicia!" He growled kind of loud. A man looked at him. "What the fuck are you looking as asswipe?" Holden snapped. |
Suddenly all the passengers and staff fell unconscious just before Hayden appeared standing next to Holden. She grabbed his arm and hauled him out of the seat, "Shut up. I'm kidnapping you for the next...well...however long it takes dammit!" With that, the two disappeared. She appeared in the kitchen with Anne, while Holden appeared in the study with Solomon.
Solomon bolted upright as he suddenly saw Holden, "W-wha...Hayden Marie Kalika!" He stood, running a hand through his hair with a growl, "I'm so sorry Holden..I have no idea what has gotten into that crazy girl!" He looked downward where the kitchen was located, "Yeah! I know you're listening you shrew!" Solomon suddenly found himself on his knees as Hayden hit him in the back of the legs with telekinesis, "I am so going to kill you." |
"I have work." Holden sighed. He grabbed onto the table because he didn't have enough time to close his eyes he felt really dizzy. "Hayden, I can't miss work!" He growled as his phone vibrated. "What!" He yelled into the phone. He sighed when the line went dead. "Just send me back Solomon." He held out his hand and put his phone back into his pocket. Suddenly Holden fell to his knees holding his abdomen, "Alicia Renee Winters!"
Suddenly Alicia appeared next to Hayden, "Think this will work?" She crossed her arms. She sent a blast of TK into Holden stomach. |
"It better. I'm sick of hearing bad things about Solomon. Besides..those two are perfect for eachother." She giggled, "You want help carrying that Anne?" She hurried over, taking the massive 5 tier cake from Anne and hauling it to the freezer with ease.
Anne smiled, "Thanks Hayden..I thought I was going to drop the damn thing." She hurried around the kitchen, cleaning up the various messes. Solomon growled as he stood, helping Holden up, "Don't worry. I will smack Alicia for you as well." He brushed Holden off, then quickly stepped back and looked away. "The plane already took off. Where do you need to be? I will take you there." He bit his lip as he shoved his hand sin his pockets; he thought he felt them straying back towards Holden's body. |
"Thanks." Holden sighed. "I already checked my bag." He rubbed his temples. "The hotel, Melody is there. And so is the rental car." He crossed his arms. He felt his body somewhat lean towards Solomon. "Damn bitch." He whispered at Alicia.
"I don't want Holden to get something with the men he has been with. Except for Asher, he was sweet." Alicia quickly shut her mouth and put her hand over it. |
Hayden tilted her head, "Who's Asher?" She jumped, quickly blocking Solomon's powers. "He's so going to kill me..."
Solomon nodded, working to track down Melody's mind. He growled, clenching his fists as he felt Hayden put a lock around his powers, "God fucking dammit Hayden! She's blocking me...they will not give up..." He wanted nothing more than to beat the life from Hayden, yet at the same time, he was thankful for her persistence. "Any suggestions?" |
"This cute little Aussie." Alicia sighed. "I met him once, wanna see what he looks like?" She shrugged. "And Holden is going to kill me. Or at least he will try, he is still human." She crossed her arms.
Holden sighed, "God damn it!" He threw his hands down. "Just drive me back to the airport. I'll take the fucking heat for this shit." He pinched his nose. He didn't want to leave Solomon, but he knew he couldn't stay. He felt a major pressure in his head, he growled as he looked around for something. He walked over to the desk and grabbed the letter opener, "You better fucking run Alicia!" He walked to the door. |
Solomon blinked, "Umm, I don't think that wi.." He trailed off as Holden went for the door; obviously not listening. He hurried over, gently; yet firmly grabbing the hand that held the letter opener, "If you're going to bloody my stuff..at least use a knife.." He took the letter opener in his index finger and thumb of his free hand, tugging it from Holden's grasp. He threw it at the desk, lodging it about an inch into the wood. After a moment, he let Holden go, crouching down to get the knife strapped to his ankle and handed it to Holden as he straightened.
Hayden looked up, "Oh no..he's enabling him! Wait..that's a good thing." She smiled, looking back to Alicia, "Oh no, I don't want Solomon pulling that from my mind and getting mad or something." She quickly dove into the cupboard under the sink, holding the doors closed with her telekinesis while she continued to block Solomon's powers. |
Holden's eyes lit up slightly as Solomon touched him. He turned slightly so he could see Solomon. He reached for the doorknob as Solomon placed the knife in his hand. "Thanks love..." A shocked expression came over his face after the realization of what he just said. "U-..umm..." He quickly turned the doorknob and ran out.
Alicia nodded as she quickly ran to hide in the broom closet. |
Solomon tilted his head, "E-excuse me?" Before he could say anything else, Holden was out the door. Did he...? He stepped out into the hallway, his hand shooting out to grab Holden a few steps from the door, "Holden wait..."

Holden jumped when Solomon grabbed his wrist, which made him accidentally dropped the knife. He turned to look at Solomon his face was red from embarrassment. "Y-..yes Solomon?"

Hayden smiled a bit form under the sink, releasing Solomon's powers. Bad move.
Solomon knew he should let go of Holden's wrist, but found his hand moving to grab Holden's instead. He laced their fingers with a slight frown, "I know a way to get back at the two of them...way more effective than a knife." Solomon grinned as he felt his powers return quickly manipulating Alicia's and Hayden's into a powerful block, "Oh..so effective." He pulled Holden a bit closer, his face only a few inches from his, "Would you like to hear..or rather stab the brains out of Alicia?" |
Holden's face got redder from how close he was to Solomon's lips. "A...a combination of both..." He looked away as much as he could. But looked back at Solomon, he stared at Solomon's lips and started to bite his lower lip.
Alicia winced as she felt her powers blocked, "Damn it Hayden!" She whispered. |
"I-I thought he wouldn't notice..I'm sorry..oh my god! OH MY GOD! OOOHH MMYYY GOOODDD!" She quickly ran out from the cabinent, pounding on the door of the pantry, "Alicia! Alicia! Make it go away! OH MY GOD!" She fell to the floor as the images in her mind became more vivid.
Solomon bit his lip a bit as he grinned and moved his face just a tad closer to Holden's, "Hayden will learn to never block me again." He grabbed Holden by the shoulder with both hands and turned him slightly so his back was against the wall, "I can only do one at a time..so which is first?" |
Alicia's eyes got wide as the images poured into her mind, "Oh...god..." She sat there not knowing what to do.
Holden gasped a little bit when his back was against the wall. He looked at Solomon with confused eyes, "W-..we can do your plan Solomon." He looked down, not sure where this was going... |
Solomon frowned ever so slightly, "Are you so dense right now Holden?" He stepped back turning on his heel, running his hand through his hair, "Interesting..." He whirled back around, a devious look on his face, "Five years ago I emphasized to Hayden why she was not to interfere with my life when we..made up..in the barn...I may have also let the images slip to Alicia.." He threw his hands up on the wall, nearly cracking the wood paneling as he trapped Holden. He held his face just two inches from Holden's, "Dammit Holden...I'm getting such mixed emotions from you...I have to know Holden." He stared at him with his sharp green eyes that were burning with lust by now, "Do you still love me?"

Holden jumped when Solomon slammed his hands on the wall. "I'm getting mixed emotions from you Solomon." He tensed a little bit. He stared into Solomon' green eyes, "I... still love you..." He nodded while he tried to emphasize his love for Solomon in his voice. "But I don't want to hurt you anymore then I already have..." Holden trailed off as his golden eyes flickered with sadness.

Solomon let his forehead hit the wall next to Holden, "The only thing that is worse than what's been done is that I don't already have you in my arms Holden." He closed his eyes, his arms bending slightly to allow him to be a bit more stabilized. "I just want this distance between us to go away...even if I'm forced to just remain your friend it'd be better than not seeing you at all..these past few months have been hell."

Holden's heart has been aching to hear those words come from Solomon. He took in a deep breath as he gently fixed Solomon's tie. He leaned back on the wall and let his head slam into it. "Solomon... You could never just be my friend..." He trailed off as he though for a moment. He closed his eyes, "I still love you with all my heart, and I always will..." He opened his eyes and looked down. "I miss being in your arms..." Holden moved so he could wrap his arms around Solomon.

Solomon let his arms fall from the wall and to his sides, "You have no idea how much I miss you being there." Suddenly his arms tightened around Holden, pulling him close and hugging him rather tightly. He rested his head on Holden's shoulder letting out a slight sigh, "I'm sorry I made you feel that I hated you..I just..I didn't know what to do with you...I never want to make you think that ever again."

Holden smiled slightly as Solomon's arms wrapped around him. "What I did deserved more then just hate." He snuggled his head into Solomon's shoulder. "I know Solomon." He moved his head slightly so he could see Solomon's neck. He moved in slowly and kissed his neck lightly.

Solomon smiled slightly as he felt Holden kiss his neck. He pushed Holden forward so he was against the wall again, holding him by the waist, "It's going to be so hard to not break you." He pressed his lips against Holden's, kissing him for just a moment before moving and kissing his neck. "Incredibly hard."

Holden moaned out when Solomon kissed his neck. "You can always heal me." He smiled somewhat darkly as he started undoing Solomon's vest and shirt.
Alicia started to cry as the images of what Holden and Solomon were doing right now flashed through her head. Seth appeared standing next to Serus, "I loathe you." He crossed his arms as he walked to the window. |
Hayden curled up as tightly as she could, "N-not again.."
Solomon grinned his fingers quickly undoing the tiny buttons on Holden's shirt, pulling it off his chest and lightly kissing his afterwards. "I suppose I could.." His hands trailed to Holden's belt, pulling it from his waist after unbuckling it, "Leave your jeans in tact..rip them off..hmm.." Serus looked behind her, hearing Seth, "Ah..umm..e-excuse me?" She stood from the chair, glancing around the little cafe, "You're lucky this is one of my..special..cafe's Seth.." |
"I blocked my appearing." Seth turned around to look at Serus. "I..." He trailed off as he heard someone in his head. "Damn it!" His eyes flashed red as he disappeared.
Alicia started to slam her head into the wall. "Intact please. I think it would be awkward for Melody to see me in my boxers... Again." He moaned as Solomon kissed his chest. He cursed silently after he said that. |
"Again?" A slightly distressed look came over Solomon's face, "What..?"
Serus tilted her head, "Well alright then." She sat back down, looking back to her book and going back to reading. |
"Well umm, there was someone in Australia..." Holden trailed off not wanting to say anything. He looked at Solomon, "I captured a picture of a rare fish. Me and Asher um popped open a few bottles of champagne and celebrated." He paused watching Solomon's face contort in sadness. "Next thing I know I'm waking up alone on the boat with only my shirt and boxers..." He trailed off. "Please don't get upset with me Solomon, it was only one..two times... And I though me and you were through..." He stared into Solomon's eyes. Suddenly Holden's eyes narrowed, "And I have been hearing things about you Mr. One-Night-Stand." Holden gently poked Solomon's chest.

Solomon smiled slightly as he rested his forehead on Holden's, "I'm not mad at all Holden...I mean after all, you're right...Mr. One-Night-Stand stands before you." He chuckled lightly, unbuttoning Holden's pants, "But I promise to leave your pants intact..maybe.." He tugged at them lightly as he kissed Holden furiously on the lips.

Holden smiled slightly, "As long as you promise." He kissed Solomon passionately back.
*** Holden sighed as he laid his head on Solomon's chest, "No matter what, you are the best." He walked his fingers up and down Solomon's chest. "And I'm glad we didn't roll down the stairs." He chuckled as looked at the stairs which were a foot or so away. He sighed as he heard his phone vibrating incessantly. "That's probably my boss." Holden looked up at Solomon. |
Solomon grinned, "Your boss can wait~" He peered over at the stairs, "Now, you think I'd be so careless as you let you fall down the stairs?" He chuckled lightly, kissing Holden's neck lightly, "Although, you probably should answer it...at least so he knows you didn't...get broken..."
Hayden stared wide eyed at the wall as the images finally faded away, "F-f-.." She trailed off, almost unable to speak. |
Holden smiled, "I know love." He kissed Solomon on the cheek as he sat up. He grabbed his pants, and pulled out his phone. "Yes sir?" He laid back down next to Solomon. "That hurts sir." He laid his head on Solomon's chest again. "Go ahead and fire me, but know this if you fire me I will pull out my $20 million." He started rubbing Solomon's chest. He looked up at Solomon, "You know what sir? I think I'm going to retire. I'll have my letter of resignation on your desk tomorrow." He smiled as he hung up the phone. "To retire and live out my days with my darling Solomon." Holden sighed contently as he hugged Solomon's chest.

Solomon frowned a bit as Holden hung up, "You didn't have to quit your job Holden..." He wrapped his left arm around Holden, kissing his forehead, "We really should move..the maids are going to notice the silence and come up here to..sanitize." Yet he made no move to get up.

"It's ok Solomon, I have many job offers. I am very good at my job." Holden smiled. "Plus I was thinking of investing some of my money in something." He rubbed his head on Solomon's chest. He smiled, "And I should probably go and get Melody. Plus I need to get fresh food in my fridge." He sat up and gave Solomon a kiss on the lips. He stood up and pulled up his pants, he put his shirt on but didn't button it. He put on his shoes without putting on his socks. "I'll see you later Solomon. I love you!" Holden waved as he ran down the stairs to find Alicia.

Solomon stood, picking his clothes from the floor and quickly putting on his boxers and pants, hearing Li and her sisters storming up the steps. He skittered off into his study, locking the door behind him, "Love you too Holden~""

Alicia opened the pantry door slightly and peered out. "Hay-..Hayden, we need to hide." She whispered.
Holden quickly walked through the kitchen, "Alicia get out of there, I need you to take me to Melody." He crossed his arms. He really didn't care that his shirt was still unbuttoned. Alicia closed the door when she heard footsteps. "No your gonna yell at me." She quickly scooted farther back into the pantry. "I'm not going to yell, now come on Melody is probably confused." He sighed. "No!" Alicia pouted. "Pain in the ass~" He uncrossed his arms. "Darling, can you take me to Melody? Alicia's being a wimp." He chuckled. |
