I was wondering if you could help me some though...
Just advice, nothing more.

I can never seem to make an avi with more then two colors. I just can't seem to make it flow the right way. I'll try to make it work for hours on end and nothing good ever comes out of it.
How do you get ideas for your avis?
Do you just throw stuff together until it works or do you have a plan while you're making them?

I'll probably do it tomorrow or thrusday. ouo

Avatars with more than two colors ?
Well .. one, you can use Lucid's way.
Generate a number 1 - 23.
then a number 1 - 5.
The first number is the main color,
and the second is the shade. You do that
for as many colors as you want.
But - of course - there's certain colors
that less shades, like gold and jade.

The other way, which is how I do it, is
to start with one item, any special item / donation
item, in my opinion. You then find colors that match
that, then other colors that seem to go well with it.
Like if you used the Locked Legends shoes, you have
a few combos you can start right there.
Red / Silver / Black
Blue / Silver / Blonde
Teal / Silver / Purple
Or if you used the ribbon mage :
Purple / Jade / (any color you want)
Pink / Blue / (any color you want)
ect ect.

I'd say start with the R. Knight you have.
The scheme I'd use would be crimson, black,
a light color, like silver or white, and a
color like orange - red or even blue, something
that will stand out.

Once you start messing around with different
color schemes, you just come up with a lot.

Try Crimson, Black, and one or two other colors.
If you slowly start working in colors,
soon you'll be wanting to do a lot.
.. Like my seven color avatar. LOL

I don't aaaaaaaaaalways generate random numbers! that's for when I have no idea what I want, or if I want to work with mostly commons.

most of the time, I pick an item or two or five that I want to use, and then I throw on more items that have those colors in it. kinda like Nightmare's way, but less planned. and sometimes items I was going to use in the beginning get thrown off, but the color from them remains.
