Luda let out a bubbling growl and moved closer to the other tube, glaring at the doctors. The act of even thinking clearly was so trying and painful with all these drugs coursing through his system. No wonder they could keep that little bastard locked away for fourteen years down here. He watched the new boy carefully and how the scientists were manhandling him.

He kicked at them wildly until they had to chain down his feet as well and still continued to try as they shoved needle after needle into his arms - many times his movements ripping them out, causing the doctors to have to do them all over again.

Eventually they managed to get all of them in as his strength disappeared. He tried to keep his eyes open as the oxygen mask was placed over his face and the door closed and locked. They opened back up in alarm however as the tube began to fill with liquid and he tried to struggle to get away from it.

"Ah, Luda," Mister Gale chuckled as he watched the brunette watch the struggling boy. "I see you're awake."

Calm down...

Luda did everything he close to try and force the message to the other boy without Gale noticing or the drugs interfering. He glared at Gale and shifted over to the man- is fingernails raking the glass and leaving scratches on the crystalline surface.

"Does he look familiar?" Gale pressed, smirking a little bit. "No, I'm sure he doesn't... but he's like you. A half breed. We're hoping his DNA isn't dirty like yours... or we'll have to dispose of him."

Another burst of bubbles from the edges of the mask as Luda growled angrily at the man. He looked over at the waste bin and saw Dolly there. Glace...Glace was still outside the tubes!

"Oh, right, the doll!" Gale chuckled. "I'd forgotten! Thank you, Luda."

He moved over and lifted her up by one rainbow-colored dreadlock, smirking a little bit.

"Really... you're a little old for toys," He commented as he pulled a lighter from his pocket and lit it up, moving it toward the toy.

Suddenly Gale cried out in surprise as the lighter went flying from his hand and Dolly was pulled away, floating in front of him.

Glace, open the tubes!

Luda banged on the glass.

"Dose him, he's projecting outside the chamber!" One of the other scientists cried out in alarm.

They scrambled for the buttons but to their surprise the controls sparked and went dead, the holds for the tubes unlocking automatically.

The doors cracked open and water began to spill out, making Gale trip and fall.

Luda fell against the back of the tube and ripped off the mask- breathing in the less purified air and choking on it a moment. He felt heavy and weak from all the medication he'd had pumped into his veins this whole time. He looked at the lines in his arms and moved to pull them out.

Guards began to move toward him with guns raised. A few of them were knocked back.

From the corner of his eye Luda could see the other boy struggling against the chains that held him for a few moments. Then, suddenly, a whip-like tail came out and sliced through them, causing him to stumble onto his knees.

"...A Silver!" Luda breathed venomously. "You're just that thing's replacement!"

"Luda, I feel icky," He heard Glace as the boy faded into view - stumbling around on the ground drunkenly.

Rathi blinked in alarm as Glace stumbled over to him. "You are... okay?"

"I feel sick," Glace whined, before he blinked. "You can see me!"

"Don't touch him!" Luda looked more alarmed that threatening as he reached out for Glace.

More security was on the way- someone had hit the alarm.

The boy weakly held up his hands to show that he meant no harm.

"He can see me!" Glace told Luda as he stumbled into his arms. "He can... woah, he's a Silvy without any wings! Cool!"

Weakly, the dark-haired teen tried to stand, wincing in pain. Luda could see that Glace was right - while he had a long tail, he was without the normal wings that Silvers had. He also had no stripes on his skin.

Luda held Glace close to him protectively.

"He won't hurt us, he's too weak." Luda assured. "Do you have Dolly?"

Glace held her up and made her kiss Luda's nose. "Dolly says he wouldn't hurt is anyway."

"Dolly doesn't fight Silvers, I do." Luda narrowed his eyes. "Does she know the way out?"

"Dolly says he's not a real Silvy," Glace sing-songed. "She says just smash through the walls~!"

He took the dolls hands and made her dance in front of himself.

"Through the walls, through the walls!"

The half-silver boy watched them as he weakly leaned up against the tube, unsure if Luda would attack him if he tried to move.

Luda rolled his eyes and scooped Glace up.

"In the event that I can't muster up anything to crash through a few stories of concrete and metal?" He asked.

"Gooo..." Glace pressed the doll against his face. "Left, right, straight, forward, left, left, right, left, through the last door on the right, then left!"

Luda nodded and looked the Silver over.

"...Hurry!" He said sharply- moving for the door.

Luckily, Glace didn't weigh a thing, so he wasn't slowing him down at all.

Looking a little surprised, the Silver stumbled after him, moving slower then a Silver with wings would - on top of that, he was still sluggish, but he managed to not slow Luda down.

"Left, right, straight..." Luda repeated- looking down the corridor. "Left, left, right..."

He shifted Glace- listening to him hum and giggle.

"left and through the last door on the right and then left." Luda finished. "Where the hell is that taking us?"

"Dolly says its the closest exit that doesn't have guards on the way," Glace informed, wiggling the doll in his face. "Its the door that the garbage truck uses!"

"Garbage?" Luda blinked. "What about a garbage shoot?"

"Dolly says no one would check there!" Glace giggled. "Lets go, lets go!"

Luda rolled his eyes and turned sharply. He came to a section of the wall with something like a laundry shoot set in it. He gripped the handle and pulled it open.

"Hurry!" Luda snapped over his shoulder.

The boy stumbled forward in alarm and slid into the garbage shoot. Glace hopped out of Luda's arms and went diving in after him with Dolly.

Luda sighed and dove in- sliding down the long, smooth shaft with it's reflective, polished stainless steel surface. He burst through a small portal at the end and crashed into a large dumpster at the bottom.

"Ewww, gross!" Glace whined from his place hovering above the garbage. He giggled as he watched the Silvish boy and Luda struggle around, before reaching down and pulling them both out. "You smell like rotten toe-mah-toes!"

"That's not even a word." Luda pulled a large bag of refuse off his head- with bits of the stick stuff matted in his hair -before looking around for the exit.

"There," The Silver said, pointing toward the heavy set of doors. He slipped to the floor and crouched down, his dark eyes flickering around for any form of life.

"Clear," He whispered, lowering his long ears and tensing his shoulders. "But quiet. Hear close."

"His English is terrible," Glace told Luda.

"You make up words." Luda informed Glace.

"At least they're English words!" Glace cried as the Silver slipped toward the door, his eyes darting around.

"Knock it off!" Luda snapped as he walked past Rathi. "If anyone tries to stop us, I'll kill them...might kill you too."

He moved to the panel beside the door and placed his hand on it- shorting it out and making the doors slowly slip open.

Rathi frowned and followed Luda out, Glace dancing along behind them.

Just as 'Dolly' had said, there was no one around looking.

"Now does Dolly say that just people won't be around to see us here or that the cameras and laser-tripwires won't either?" Luda asked Glace. "...That's never going to be easy for me to say."

Glace held the doll up to his ear. "Dolly says the cameras are still shorted out from the craaaaaaazy white-haired boy. She says there are no laser trip-wires out here, they just said that to scare you!"

"Not so loud!" Luda snapped- waving Glace off. "Okay then...is there a means of conveyance through this shit-hole jungle?"

Looking around, Glance then leaned in and whispered into Luda's ear, "Dolly says the Silver boy can get you around."
