Raven still didn't say anything, watching the credits for a few minutes before slowly getting up.
Frei pushed him back down, moving in his lap to pin him to the seat. "I know that you don't like violence. I know that... this world is new for you." she said quietly, "But you have to listen to me."
Raven waved his hand a little and tried to get up again. It didn't look like he was ready to hear it.
Frei gripped his collar, stare piecing into his eyes.
Raven refused to look at her, still trying to get up.
Frei wouldn't let him, he'd have to shove her off. Her stare remained piercing, "Don't judge him." she barely whispered, "He has to keep us all alive."
After awhile, Raven gave up trying to get up. But it still didn't look like he was listening.
Frei stared at him for a moment before leaning over and suddenly biting his ear, rather hard.
Raven cussed, now trying to push her off.
Frei locked her arms around his neck in an iron grip but she did let go of his ear.
Raven kept thrashing around, trying to get Frei off as he cussed some more.
Frei was suddenly knocked off. She tumbled backwards, hitting her head pretty hard against the coffee table in front of them and collapsed into a small ball on the ground.
Raven cussed some more. He stuck around just long enough to make sure Frei was alright. Then he headed for the door.
Frei was unconscious, breathing but only barely. There was a good size lump swelling up on the back of her head; she was definitely very fragile.
As Raven left, he gave someone a brief call to take care of her. Then he disappeared.
Laurel returned fairly quickly, a steaming cup of coffee in her hands. It had that same heart design that Nic had failed to notice before.
