Yeah, yeah, I know. **waves hand dismissively** I try not to eat a lot of salt and only rarely add it to my homemade food because most things already have plenty of salt.

Salt not that bad, especially since people still need iodine and table salt is an easy way to get it. Just watch the overload of sodium.

Ari, up north we might still have a jar of Vegemite that a visiting friend left behind a few years back. I could ship it to you, but I wouldn't recommend it. I recall sniffing it an glaring at it suspiciously but I don't think I actually tried it.

Precisely! Plus, if you're going to flavour your food, use pepper, both black and white, over salt. It tastes SO much better with the pepper twins than with salt. >.>

It is Australian, Ari. As I said, a friend left it here, and said friend was from Sydney. I'm pretty sure it's been tossed though. It's not something any of us ever felt compelled to eat.

And salt is not that bad for you. You *need* it. What we don't need, are all the sodium and salt variants that make it into processed gunk. I had the frustrating problem of actually being low in sodium when I was ill, but because of high blood pressure due to my kidneys not working properly, I couldn't eat much of it. Blah!
