Not that he'd ever admit to the other winning, it happened often enough he had learned to accept it. Though it all was over after a while. Even if it wasn't rushed he wasn't sure he wanted it to end. With Mizuki trying to distract him his mind still knew what was going to happen soon. This might never happen against for all he knew. He didn't let the thoughts distract him too much though, he wanted to enjoy this.

Normally it was true that he never repeated back what Mizuki loved to hear. But he wasn't sure what would come of the next few days or weeks even. Staying close to the other he tightened his hold slightly. "Love you too.. " He nearly said it in a whisper but the other probably heard it either way. Why was he worried so much, he just had a sickening feeling that something was going to happen. He tried to ignore his thoughts and go to sleep in the others embrace, even if he never admitted to it.. he enjoyed this.

Mizukis sleep was restless and filled with bad feelings. Soon he awoke in a cold sweat his breathing a little laboured. What was this feeling that he had. It felt as though something really bad was about to happen. Moving carefully so he didnt wake Thalion Mizuki got out of the bed and dressed. He grabbed his staff and he headed out the front door. Standing there he breathed deep. A walk would be good.

The images of his dream still forfront in his mind. All he saw was red as blood dripped down the walls. Screams and darkness was all that fallowed. Mizuki cringed. He took his dreams very seriously so the matter at hand was troubling. Coming around a corner what Mizuki saw made his heart stop.

There was a loud thunderous boom as the house before him exploded sending fiery chunks of wood out in all directions causing him to be throwen backwards from the blast. Mizuki grunted as his back slammed into the wall of the house behind him. His ears ringing from the blast and his vision blurred from the contact of the wall he barely made out the figures starting to rush about. All wearing the colors of the eastern army.

"Shit" Mizuki cursed as he forced himself to his feet, finding the nearest person Mizuki began his asult all the while yelling orders to everyone he could see "GET TO THE ARMORY! OPEN IT TO ALL AND PROTECT THE ELDERS AND CHILDERN" The war was starting finaly and all Mizuki thought about was Thalion

The explosion along was enough to wake Thalion up, he knew damn well it wasn't a good sign. He was just finishing dressing when Neimi rushed to answer the door as someone banged on it. "It's the Eastern Army" The poor man breathed out. Thalion growled a little as he tested the bow for a split second and walked past Neimi and the solider. "Get to your posts, pass the word that the archers are to arm the bows with venom and that anyone with a blade is to do the same." The man nodded before rushing off to try and get the word around.

Thalion hated using such a tactic but they had no chance in hell against the numbers of the Eastern army if this was the full assault. It would have to be done even just getting a wounding shot or cut could kill the enemy and thats what had to be done. It seemed for the moment he had a little bit of time only the first wall was broken into as he found someone else and grabbed them quickly. "Anyone who can't fight retreat to the last stand. Ensure they get there!" He barked at him before letting him go and quickly getting to one of the elevated posts.

There was one other there with him, it was one of the young trainees. At best he seemed shaken up by all of this. "Relax..." He said to him once he had the bow strung and ready to release the arrow. "Even if you die here you died fighting for what you believe in so it'll be a death without regrets." There wasn't more to ask for really, dying for something you didn't believe in or to second guess your purpose in life, this he thought was worth dying for. "Though I have no plans to die today..." He grinned a little as the boy seemed to get what he was saying before nodding weakly and readying his bow as well.

The first one that came into his sights was shot down in a instant. Though he had a little trick up his sleeve for this as the arrow seemed to glow for a split second before exploding and taking out a few other troops around the one that was shot. He had been wanting to try these out for a while but seeing as they were unstable at best this might as well be a good time to test them. If Mizuki had gotten the time maybe he could have used his magic to work with his weapons but there wasn't time to think about that now.

Mizuki was fighting with everything he had at the first break in. He rushed and charged using magic left, right and center. "Shit" He cursed as he stumped back the tip of a sword just missing his chest. "Ha!" He said lashing out at the males head with his staff the head hitting him in the temple causing the male to grunt in pain before an arrow was shot that took the man down. Looking behind him he saw Raden with a bow in his hands the string still vibrating from the arrow that was just let go.

Mizuki nodded his head to the young male before he turned and joined the battle once more. The fighting continued on for a long time. Both sides fighting and falling. Mizuki was getting tired, his magic was starting to take the toll out on his body but he needed to push on and so he did.

Mizuki then yelped as he was forced backwards by another explosion until he heard a voice above him that made him shiver "Well well well...and what do we have here" Mizuki turned his head and looked right into the eyes of Luna "It seems as though I found a little rat!" With that she swung down the sword she carried in her hand Mizuki just getting out of the way intime "Dont try to run your fate is upon you!" She hissed as Mizuki turned and ran.

He knew that with his energy at the level it was it he had no chance in hell of beating her with his magic. The only option he had was to run and hoped to hell he reached a sword soon.

Stumbeling over a fallen member he grabbed the sword that lay forgotten on the ground and quickly stood to his feet just as Luna reached him. He growled as she laughed "You really think you can defeat my swords play!?" She asked in a mocking tone "No...but I can damn well try!' He said before taking a defensive stance.

The world around him seemed to slow down to blurred figures and screams. He knew This was not the main attach but the push before the final blow. He needed to take Luna out even if it ment his life. Then it happened, the clanking and grinding of swords as she charged. Slash after slash her furry was relentless. Mizuki blocked everything she gave him until his footing slipped and he hissed in pain as the feeling of cool silver stabbed through his shoulder "Awww...I knew you would slip up eventually" She said.

Mizuki couldnt let this stop him. Grabbing the blade with his hand he held the sword there as he shot out with his own. Luna could not help but to jump back letting her blade go. "You see...you and I...are different" He said as he grunted removing the blade "I have something to fight for" With that he charged with both the blades...it was his turn.

After a while he left the area he was posted on leaving the trainee there. He seemed to be doing better anyway and the archers were normally in the least amount of danger. On the ground level he had to resort his blades mainly and to preserve the bow for a last resort. He had crossed paths with Neimi as he helped her get out of the bind she had found herself in as she was helping the children and others that couldn't fight to the safest area of the fortress.

After that was done he had manged to get closer to where the main fighting was going on. He hadn't seen Mizuki anywhere, it was starting to worry him. Running into Raden and a few others had eased his worry that things would turn out ok and the number of corpses he saw from the other side was reassuring as well. But he still kept thinking the worse for Mizuki or that he'd find him when it was too late.

After fighting through the seemingly endless waves of enemies that were invading their safe haven he finally found Mizuki. Though it seemed he was deep in combat with someone ... it was her. His ears went back a little as he pulled the bow and held it there waiting for a clear shot. They were both moving too much at this rate even with him shooting he'd probably hit Mizuki. He'd have to wait, though Mizuki looked as tired as he felt.

After the fight went on for a bit longer Mizuki seemed to lose his footing as he fell backwards, the woman seemed to laugh as she raised her sword to strike at the stunned Mizuki. He took his chance as he let the arrow go as it sunk into the arm that was holding the sword forcing her to drop the blade as soon as the arrow hit it. When Mizuki had fallen he had lost his sword so that strike she was about to do would have been it probably.

He had another arrow already in waiting as she seemed to glare at where the object came from. He wouldn't kill her though. He felt like this was more Mizuki's right then anyone's to kill her. Not only that but he only had this one arrow left, and with hsi current shape he'd rather avoid close combat.

Mizuki cringed as he saw the blade heading down towards him. Was this really it? Then his chance as an arrow struck deep into Luna's arm. He watched as she hissed deeply and dropped her blade. Catching it Mizuki stood to his feet in a fluid motion the sword held firmly in his only none damaged hand "You know...we could of still been friends" He said to her and got a glare in response "But now...you just piss me off' With that he swung the blade out and watched as her headless body fell to the ground in a lifeless heap.

Mizuki smiled as he spit on the corpse "You deserved worse" He said in a pain filled whisper. He turned to look at where the arrow had come from and gave a light smile as he laid eyes upon a tired Thalion. He was alive! Mizuki took a step forward and stopped...the smile dying on his lips as he looked down to see the tip of a sword sticking out the front of his stomach.

Mizuki caughed, a light splatter of blood falling from his lips as the blade was removed and he fell to know knees. A male stood behind him a look of horror on his face before he screamed out "GENERAL LUNA IS DEAD RETREAT!....REATREAT!" With that the male turned and headed for the opening in the wall where so many others began to ran and file out of.

Thalion could have cared less about the units falling back after the general was dead. Not he had something else he needed to worry about as he rushed to Mizuki and helped support him so he wouldn't fall over completely. Normally he would have rushed to kill the retreating bastards but not at the moment. Just knowing he was alive was something he was grateful for.

"Mizuki.. " He breathed out still supporting the other, sure he was beat up himself and bleeding in a number of spots but he was worried that the sword had hit dome more damage then what it appeared to have done at the present time. Neimi quickly rushed to Thalion's side as she looked down at the two of them.

"I'll go get help, he needs healing and quickly." She rushed off to try and go find a few people to help. That was part of her duties after all to tend to the wounded. Though she feared there wouldn't be many wounded not with this battle. They would be dead or alive.

Mizuki hissed a little but he still managed a smile to Thalion "It hurts but I will live" He said in a pained voice as he moved his foot out from under him to rest better within the other males arms "Im...glad you lived" He said before caughing and cringing in pain. "Dont worrie about me..." He said moving out of Thalions grasp to sit up against the nearest wall "Go see the damage..." He said with a nod of his head towards the running about people in the background.

In truth Mizuki wanted nothing more then to just sit there in the arms of the man he loved but he knew Thalion had duties beyond him and it was selfish to think otherwise. Though Mizuki wouldnt say it he thought he was going to die. The wound in his shoulder made him loose alot of blood and now the puncher through his body didnt help matters. He was bleeding out...and bad.

Mizuki didnt want Thalion to see him like this though he knew the other has seen him worse but...there was something about this moment that scared Mizuki. His vision began to blur and his crimson stained silver hair began to cover his head as it dipped in pain. "I...love you" He said softly his lavender eyes starting to close.

He couldn't do anything but listen to him, hell it was all he could do to hold it together. "That can wait, theres other to help with such things.. " He wasn't going to leave him like this. Though by the time Neimi came back with some help Mizuki seemed to be worse off then before as he spoke softly. Thalion's ears dropped a little before he put a hand on his non wounded shoulder. "Mizuki..? " He spoke normally the first time before yelling it a second time. He didn't get a answer either of the times as he seemed to stand as a shudder undertook his body. He couldn't be dead, after all the shit they had gone through!

Neimi quickly went about getting the few she found to help carrying Mizuki to the healing area, or rather the one they had set up. Though this didn't stop the thought that Thalion had. If he did die... he vowed this king would pay. Sure he already had to pay for what he had done, but taking the one person he cared about more then anything in the world.. that wasn't something he could live with.

He shook his head before briskly walking off and tending to anyone who needed help to either get them to the ward or to tend to the smaller wounds on the spot. There was quite a bit that needed to be repaired. Though he wasn't sure if he'd be around to see it done. Neimi said she'd find him if things changed or if he came to.

Over the next few hours he went about trying to keep his mind busy. Anything would do at the present time as he seemed almost in a daze or trance. He had one thought on his mind, he didn't want Mizuki to be dead. Though if he was then the Eastern kingdom had just bred their most powerful enemy possible...

Neimi had been running back and forth to tend to all of the wounded, most weren't in too bad of shape it was rather lucky. Though she always returned to Mizuki, his condition didn't seemed to change even after they got the wounds to stop bleeding. She wanted Thalion to come to the ward so he could be looked over but he refused saying he could still walk like hell he was going to waste time.

Mizukis world blackend. The last thing he heard was Thalion screaming his name out. Was this really the end? Was he going to die after everything that they went through? At least before the raid he had a chance to love Thalion right? In the end thats the only thought that graced Mizukis mind.

He heard shouts and yells coming from the people around him. The husteling of feet on the ground as medics helped the hurt and almsot dead. Mizukis mind was shallow and dark. He knew he lost alot of blood and it scared him not as much as the thought he might loose Thalion in the end. Soon he gave into the darkness with Thalions name on his lips.

His mind wundered in and out for the longest time until he grasped onto a light that shone through the darkness "T-thal' He whispered his brow covered in sweat from fever "T-thal" His parched lips muttered over and over. It was the only thing that he wanted at this moment in time. All the pain be damned. Mizuki then mustered what strength he had and opened pain filled lavender orbs to meer slits.

His vision was blurry but as it began to focus he turned his head and saw Neimi walking over with a tray of bandages to his head "Mizuki!" He heard and he cringed a little at the over cheerfull voice "My god I thought you died!" She said rushing over. He sighed as a cool clothe met his forehead "Ne-imi..." He bagan "T-thal" He could barely speak and he felt the darkness pulling at him again but there was one thing he wanted first.

Neimi knew right away what Mizuki wanted and she told the nearest person to find thal and get him here with the message that Mizuki was awake. "How...how long?" Mizuki asked before giving a grunt in pain as Neimi began to change the bandage on his hand "Hours...almost a day" She said softly "You had us all worried" She explained

After she had finished her work on the wrappings to ensure the wounds stayed clean she let out a heavy sigh looking over Mizuki. He was hardly out of the woods and she knew it. He could still leave them at any moment now, he was still bleeding slightly in a few spots but everything was being taken care of as quickly as possible. She wasn't sure what would happen is Mizuki did leave them, she had grown use to the odd family she had. She couldn't bare the thought of losing any of them.

She walked away a moment before coming back with a small cup. "Can you try to drink for me? I know your tired but .. this is the best I can do for now most of the supplies were still missing." She looked down at the cup a moment before trying to help Mizuki lean up enough without hurting him to at least sip at the water. Any fluids would be a help, at least a start.

A few moments later the lad she had sent off to fetch Thalion came back with the distraught elf. He looked worse for wear himself, over the course of the day he never once stopped to really take much of a breather. He couldn't, if he did then he'd start thinking about Mizuki or he'd run off to do something he'd regret later. Walking next to where Neimi was he looked at Mizuki before looking at her. She was just as worried as he was, Raden had followed Thalion but stayed a little further back before Neimi moved to walk over to him.

She didn't want to know what was going through Thalion's head, but it hurt seeing them both like this. Over the years she had done enough reading to know that drows were something you didn't want to mess with, she feared he might snap and turn into such a creature if Mizuki really did leave them. It wouldn't be a bad thing for their side, but in the long run she could end up losing both of them. Looking up at Raden she hiccuped once with her sudden intake of air before holding onto him. She knew she couldn't be weak but she just needed a moment.

Thalion could tell Mizuki could drift back off at any second, even as he stood there. He sighed a little before placing a hand over the others. "Why were you even out there alone.. damn it I could have.." He never finished his sentence, there wasn't a point to do so. He knew Mizuki was a capable fighter but still, he felt like he should have been there to prevent some of this at the least.

Mizukis mind was almost drawen back until he felt the warm hand covering his. The voice of Thalion above him made him gather the small amount of remaining energy he had to open his eyes halfway and turn his head. This is where he peered at his lover or what was left of him. His usualy messy hair was worse. Dark bags hung under his eyes and his body was littered with bruises and cuts some that seemed to be deeper then Mizuki cared to think about at that moment.

"G-get...Re-ssst" Even with being on his almost death bed Mizuki still had enough energy to scold the other before him. He knew that he should of said somthing else but Mizuki also knew that Thalion would not rest. Maybe hearing it from Mizuki would help aid the others to convince him.

Mizuki moved his hand slightly, turning it so the fingers of both hands almost just fell into place wrapped around each other. A small smile graced his dry cracked lips as his eyes grew heavy. With the last bit of his energy used Mizukis mind was consumed with darkness again and he passed out the grip on the others hand loosening a little but not letting go.

He didn't want to move, even being scolded by Mizuki he was glad just to hear his voice. It was almost something he couldn't think about, he knew what eh'd do if Mizuki never woke back up. Once Mizuki seemed to close his eyes again Thalion looked away for a moment before squeezing the hand he was still holding and then releasing it.

Walking over to Raden and Neimi he paused a moment before speaking. "Keep a eye on him Neimi." He started to walk past her as she looked to Raden and they both moved to stop him. "You can't keep forcing yourself!" she finally squeaked out. "You have wounds too and they aren't going to heal unless they get closed up, you haven't stopped since the attack." She looked down for a moment and then to Raden, she wasn't sure what else to say.

Raden spoke up finally seeing as Neim seemed at a loss. "Either you listen to her and Mizuki or I'll find some way to force you to rest!" He finally said, sure it was a little bold but hell this was Thalion they were dealing with. Thal finally sighed before nodding his head. "Fine.. but only for a few hours, I want as much taken care of as possible." He was certain this wouldn't be the last attack by far.

Mizuki's mind was black. He had began to call the darkness home. It was the only thing that was around him. His mind was stable yet wondered around like nothing else...

He stood there cloak drawen up around his body as he looked around the rushing of steps. It was a moment or two before anyone saw him but when they did he got a reaction that he was not expecting. Instead of a happy greating swords were drawen and the men charged at first sight. "What happened here" He thought out loud as he easily blocked the blow the young male seemed to give.

"I do not have time for this young sir" He said forcing the male back. Removing his hood from his cloak he stood there. Short spiked blue hair hung over long pointed ears and dangeled into white eyes. A cloak hung over his forum the only thing escaping was the hand holding a staff that warped and rapped around blue crystals. "I am here to see master Mizuki" He said and right away the young male stood back.

"My name is Riku" He said slightly "Me and my comrads have come to aid' He said before stepping aside and indicating to the other 299 men and women standing behind him. Everyone of them wore cloaks as dark as night and carried a staff that gave a sloft glow in the darkness of the night from the crystals that dangeled. "May you take me to him' Riku asked but the male began to give him directions saying he had other things to do. Riku sighed "Come on...help a blind man out" The young male paused before agreeing.

The solider that Riku had been speaking to did agree to take him to where Mizuki was. Though his luck was with him seeing as most of the generals for this army were in the same location. Thalion had given Neimi two hours to get whatever she wanted done wounds wise and to hold him there. After that he was done with sitting around. His resting wasn't even resting really seeing as he was sitting up and that was all he could do to keep from pacing a hole in the floor from wanting to just go out there again to assist with the recovery.

Even though he wanted to be at Mizuki's side he pained him to just watch over the almost lifeless body of the other. He didn't want to think this was really it. He could tell Neimi feared that it was the end, she kept checking on the other trying to keep his fever down and to keep him as relaxed as possible. Though she would have to rest sooner to later as well, she was only human she could really hurt herself if she pushed too far.

After a while the solider walked in with the one who called himself Riku. He paused a moment noticing Thalion, that was a shock to see him sitting at all. He bowed slightly before speaking up. "The mages are here sir... " He bowed a little before introducing the mage that was following him. Thalion bowed his head slightly before standing and getting a glare from Neimi. He wasn't leaving just yet.

The solider backed off a little so Neimi could speak up being one of the healers. "He can't speak at the moment.. " She paused before looking at the mage before her. "Your here for Mizuki right... there was a ambush early this morning." She looked down not really knowing what else to say, if she didn't say anything she feared she'd break down.

Riku stood there and noticed the voices in the what he asumed to be tent "An ambush...that would explain the posioned smoke filled air" He said as he breathed out. Riku maybe blind but he could see the damage that was around by the voices of everyone he met. Though he stopped at the tone of the womens voice when Mizukis name was mentioned "So master Mizuki is hurt" He simply said and could tell from the exhale of air from the location of the female he was right.

Turning his head to the mage behind him he nodded his head in a wordless command and the shorter female nodded her head turning and leaving the tent. Turning his head back to the two before him his blank gaze settled on Thalion. There it stayed for a little while until he heard an out burst from the male. Riku smiled "Do not worrie lad" Riku said "Master Mizuki will live. But to live you first need to die" He said before his attention was drawen to the female that entered the tent behind him.

It was a younger female with long black hair held in a bun at the top of her head. Two chopsticks held the bun in place as white crystals hung from each end. "Hana" Riku said "Master Mizuki needs attention" Before Thalion could object he raised a hand to silence him "Hana is a great healer" He said "If his mind is still present there is nothing she cant heal" Riku said with a smile. Though the male objected it was good enough for the female as Neimi led Hana to where Mizuki laid.

He didn't really enjoy being reminded of his age. He knew he was young for his kind, but hell there were hardly any of his kind left. Even on this base there was maybe a handful of drows? At most maybe 12 and that was if they didn't just get killed by the ambush. After being silence he decide it was better just to shut up and let them do whatever they were going to do. He didn't want to stand around and watch this though.

As Thalion started to walk off Neimi flinched a little. "You said two hours it's only been-" He cut her off as he kept walking. "I can tell time Neimi" Was his last response to her before walking out of the tent. She sighed heavily before stepping back a little looking at what the girl Hana was doing. She was in aw that she would get the chance to watch a magic user do healing.

After a few moments she spoke up a little. "Sorry about Thalion.. " She looked down a moment before speaking again. "Do either of you need anything, I can't do anything to really help but I can try.." She didn't want to be in the way but she hated feeling useless at the same time.

Riku stood to the side of the bed that Hana had regected. When the women once again spoke his lifeless eyes laid upon her combined with a smile "I do not mind anything" He said "That man has great love for our master" He said slightly before turning his eyes down to Mizuki. As soon as they did though his face went from happy to stern in a matter of moments "His crystals energy is almsot depleated" He said softly and Hana gave a nod of her head.

"His wounds are deep in body and mind" She said in a little pained whisper as she placed two fingers in the middle of his pain chest. As Hana closed her eyes a white light tipped her fingers as she moved them down Mizukis chest the color of the glow changed from clear to a dark crimson and Hana jerked her arm away as if burned. Opening her eyes she looked up to Riku and he nodded before kissing his fingers and touching the sweat licked forehead of Mizuki.

Rikus head lifted as he heard the pained question come from a frighted female before him "What...whats wrong?" Neimi asked looking between the two. Hana was the first to speak "The master is assending" She said before standing with a bowed head. "Assending?" Neimi asked before turning her head to look at Riku "What dose she mean Assending?" Rikus head never lifted "Master Mizuki is..." He paused a moment "Dying" He finished lightly before raising his head "The masters crystal...' He said indicating to the grey rock "...Hes gone..."

Neimi dropped into a chair that was close to where she standing a moment ago. She wished she never asked now. She stood after a moment and saw Raden enter the tent again as she walked over to him. "Get Thal.. " Raden nodded putting a hand on her shoulder. "I heard, just calm down.. ok?" She nodded a little before going back to the chair and sitting in it. This was it, she feared this would happen. She only sent Raden because if she sent a simple messenger she feared that Thal would over react to the news.

Raden quickly left the tent to go deal with Thalion, he knew what to expect and it was hardly going to end well. When he found him he stood where he was before speaking. "Thalion... " Thal looked over to Raden as he stood there a moment. "It's Mizuki." Thalion didn't need him to say anything further as he walked past Raden, though Raden followed him anyway.

After they got back to the tent Neimi stood and half tackled Thalion when she say him and Raden. Thats all the proof he needed, not that he thought Raden was lying but still. "Neimi.." He looked down at her a moment before before he got her to let go. "Raden make sure she gets some rest." He seemed rather calm at the present time, though Neimi knew better then that as she sat back into a chair again.

Raden started to go after Thalion when he walked out without a word. "I wouldn't.." She warned him." Raden looked at her a moment questioning her. "But.." Neimi shook her at him. "He'll be back.. eventually" She looked down a moment, most people didn't know about how bad a drows temper could get, she was rather impressed he had held it together this long really.

Riku said nothing until he heard the movement of feet "Remember...to live you must first die" He said. It was a riddle with in a riddle and Riku knew Thalion needed to hear it even if the young master didnt understand. "You young female' He said indicating to Neimi "You are going to let him go?" He asked simply and got a pained 'There is nothing I can do" In return.

It was true there was nothing anyone could do. Riku could see the aura of Thalion drop as soon as he entered the room. Riku sighed and sat down in the chair beside Mizukis bed. Hana bowed at the end of the bed. This is where she began a light chant that sounded like a prayer.

The minutes drew on. Those minutes turned to hours before Riku lifted his head one more but only to the fact that Hana's words had stopped "Master Riku..." She began and he silenced her by raising his hand. He then reached out and touched the crystal that laid on Mizukis chest.

His face became serious for a moment before it relaxed and he gave a smile "Welcome back...' He said softly before withdrawing his hand and placing it once again within his lap "My dear...be so kind as to fetch me that young women" He said to Hana and she said nothing as she stood and left the tent.

When she returned Neimi stood behind her looking tired and woren out. Her expression was a lost one and Riku frowned a little "My dear...everything happens for a reason" He said and got a pained huff from Neimi "Why am I needed?" She asked before bowing her head "Hes dead..." Riku then cut her off before she could continue her words "Is he now...' He said. At this her head snapped out "You yourself said that..." "I said to live you must die first' He said motioning to the bed. There the light rise and fall of a pale chest was seen. Mizuki was alive.

She nodded after she spoke up timidly. "He's a drow.. how do you even suggest going about stopping him?" She looked up at Raden and then towards the mage who asked if she was going to let him go, she was a mere human all of this was things she wasn't use to. She'd never have to deal with any of this if her family was still alive but ... this was her family.

She had left the tent to get some air, maybe she could stop Thalion but he was already gone. Lord even knew where he had went off to. She gave up about the time she was fetched to be brought back to the tent to speak with the other mage again. Of course she was confused, it wasn't like she was use to magic there was hardly any left in this section of the world.

She watched his hand as he motioned towards the bed as she looked at Mizuki and then back to Riku. "But.. she's.... what about Thal!" She squeaked out. "He's going to end up killing himself and he's not I don't think that whatever happened here would happen with him. She shook her head still trying to grasp all of this. "He was already wounded if he goes off and fights he's going to make it worse."

By the time Neimi was even told Mizuki was alive Thalion had managed to catch up to the retreating army. This probably looked like foolishness as one being of the Western side stood against the remains of the Eastern army. Even in their battered state there was more then enough troops to kill one. As he dismounted the horse and started walking towards the camp that they had set up. Though his eyes didn't really show he was alive at the present time himself as they seemed to change from their normal yellow color to a blood red.

The first being that crossed his path was met with a single blade through his middle as he kept walking not faltering a second as the blow was dealt. This soon sparked the rest of the units here to pick up arms and to take to trying to kill this apparently crazed drow. It only took a few swings before it was apparent that he wouldn't stop for any of his current or soon to come wounds.

A few had already forced themselves back open as he destroyed anyone who stood before him. This soon turned into a mix of melee combat as well as blaze as fires started erupting from corpses and anything else that was possible to catch aflame. Over the course of a few hours the camp was destroyed and not a sole was left breathing in this destructive wake.

Even as he walked around his rage was only just starting to settle, though his body was more then weary as he breathed out heavily before falling to one knee. Even without Mizuki's help he had used his powers on the level of a master, though this was rather reckless and hardly controlled in the manner he had used them. What did he care the main person he cared about was gone as far as he knew and he still had the rest of the Eastern forces to deal with.

Riku stood there for a moment after he talked with some of his mages "Find him...give him the message and bring him home" Riku said to the three that were standing before him. With a nod of each head they left and headed out of the camp. It was not long before the reached the flaming part of the forest. One of the mages looked about until he noticed the crouched figure of a drow "Sir over there" He said and before any of them could move Thalion was on his head heading towards them with his blade drawen.

"Sir Thalion" One of the men said "You need to calm down sir" He said and got no reaction as the rage drunken drow continued towards them. "Sir..." then the sound of mettle hitting rock was herd as the attack was blocked by a staff "SIR HES ALIVE" one of the mages screamed towards him drawing up her own staff for the just in case. Though the movements of Thalions almost faultered at that. "The masters plan is a great one...trust him and he will lead you through the darkness" One of the mages said to Thalion in attempts to get to him.

The one mage forced the blade off of his staff and dropped his arms leaving him unprotected. "Its true sir...we came in search of you" He said "Master Mizuki is alive and asks for you..." He said slightly and before he could speak again he watched As Thalion ran and mounted the horse to disappear into the trees.

He didn't care who was standing here alive he couldn't tell friend from foe. Neimi had seem him like this once before and thats why she had warned Raden to not go after him. The mages were probably lucky he was even in such a state. Normally he wasn't as sloppy with his strikes even against a mage. It took a moment for the words to even get to him.

He never said a word as he was still getting over the shock of everything. What the hell was going on, first they say he's dead then... his ears dropped a little remembering something the mage had said. He was quickly reminded why he hated the elders of his clan now. He still went off to get back to the camp, if anything to give the damn head mage of this group a section of his mind.

After a few hours and getting back to the camp Neimi jumped a little when Thalion walked into the tent quickly being followed by Raden. He stopped when he got to were Neimi was as he looked at her. "I'm not sure if he's still mad or not." He said tilting his head a little before flinching as Thalion spoke up to the mage suddenly.

"Why the hell are all of you mages the same! Can't you just speak fucking common for once in your lives instead of some damned riddle." Ok sure with his current state be couldn't take any of the mages on but he still wasn't about to let that stop him from laying this one out. He probably had gotten a laugh out of this whole ordeal.

Raden looked at Neimi before she spoke under her breath. "If he keeps pushing himself we'll have someone else passed out.." she sighed heavily, he was damned lucky he was a drow most races couldn't hold against pain let alone the blood loss. Let he was just as lively as ever..

Riku stood there and watched as Thalion entered the room "To tell one straight is also to lie" He said to him with a little tilt of his head. This he knew would anger the male before him even more so his next steps could not faulter. Moving fast he darted forward and touched Thalions chest with light blue glowing fingers. This touch then moved to the side of his neck before it touched his forhead. Riku smiled as Thalions protest died and the male fell backwards into the waiting arms of two mages. When Neimi began to speak he spoke over her "He would not rest other wise his mind was to troubled" He said witha shrug.

That is when they proceeded to go about setting up another bed "Make sure it is right beside Master Mizuki" Riku said motioning to mages doing all the work and he smiled as Neimi and Raden stepped back "Sorry..." Riku said "But it was for his own good" He said before Thalion was placed on the bed beside Mizukis. "And before you ask...the only thing he needs...is to see him when he awakes" He said indicating to the both of them.

Mizuki laid there in the darkness. It was all he saw but something kept telling him to turn around to fallow the light that was now before him. That is what he did. Fallowing the light he soon opened his eyes slowly. That is when half lidded lavender orbs fell upon Thalion laying on the bed beside him.

She blinked a few times as he spoke and explained it. It was true enough. "can Mizuki do that? No wonder Thalion listens to him..." She tilted her head a little before looking at Raden. The poor guy looked a little faint, in just a few simple movements they just forced Thalion to fall out like that. He wasn't sure what scared him more here, the mages or that Mizuki was back from the dead. Both of them seemed to flinch as Ruki spoke to them. "heh.. it's true.. he can be hardheaded at times." She smiled weakly before looking at Raden who still seemed pale.

Neimi walked forward a little when Mizuki seemed to come to a little. She was about to ask how long Thalion would be out though that was never asked as Thalion groaned a little before swearing a little in his own tongue. She sighed slightly, he never changed. Then again most of the drows she had met were this way, stubborn rash .. some where worse. Raden still never moved he was kinda worried to breath these mages scared him. Thalion he could deal with and Mizuki he could deal with but .. these guys were different.

He started to sit up a little about to give that damned mage thrashing if he had the energy to do so but he stopped noticing Mizuki was looking at him. He couldn't even say anything as he noticed this though he did cringe a little as Neimi glared at him before quickly jabbing his side. "if your not going to say anything I will. Damn it your a idiot! I took all that time stitching that and you managed to rip it open?" She huffed a little before crossing her arms. "You deserve any pain your in." She only had her outburst to prevent herself from crying. she had a trying day to say the least, her fears of losing both of them nearly came to pass.

Mizuki watched at Neimi reacted just as she always did. Mizuki wanted to laugh but he wanted what energy he had for Thalion. Riku knowing this smiled before walking over "Either way you all need rest" He said ushering Raden and Neimi out of the tent. Though he stoped right at the door before slightly turning "Welcome back Master Mizuki" He said before leaving the two of them alone.

Mizuki didnt move his his eyes from Thalion. That was the only thing that he wanted to see so that was the only thing that he was going to see "T-Thal..." his voice was horse and his lips were cracked but Mizuki knew that Thalion needed to hear even just his name. The others worst fears came into play that day. Mizuki did die but now he was back and thats all that mattered.

He didn't want to rest but he knew Neimi and the damned mage was right. He was lucky his ass was even alive considering what he had pulled off. Even when everything seemed to grow quiet he wasn't sure he wanted to glance at Mizuki. Once the other came to a bit more he was sure he was going to be chewed out. Mizuki was hardly one to let details slip by unnoticed.

Though he seemed to draw his attention once Mizuki said part of his name. He felt almost foolish having run off like that. He cursed being his age, it wasn't his fault he was so rash, he'd probably never grow out of it though. He looked at the other without saying a word for a few moments, what was he suppose to say.

Forcing himself to move he leaned over to Mizuki seeing as the beds were close enough as he kissed the other suddenly. To damn with anyone who saw it, not that anyone was really in this section of the tent. "Don't do that again..." he whispered, he meant any of it the running off without any help the dying on him. He didn't care if it didn't last still it had hurt more then anything else he had dealt with in his life.

Mizuki felt the kiss and smiled a little "Take....Your o-own...advice" He said as the other male pulled away from him. Mizuki looked to Thalion with fully opened eyes. It was everything he had in his power but he was going to do it. With how close the beds were at least he had no fear of falling.

Grunting in pain and stress he moved over. It took everything he had to curl up next to Thalion with his head below the others chin. "D-dont...leave" He said as he began to hear the protests of Thalion on how he shouldnt of moved and he was stupid.

"Never.. only one of us is allowed to be reckless." He smiled weakly, he wasn't being serious but still. He went to breath out again as he winced before putting a hand on his chest. 'damn it..' he hissed under his breath, he didn't need to tell Mizuki he nearly killed his own life force by using the powers he had.

When Mizuki moved to curl up next to Thalion of course he protested and tried to say he needed the rest.. but truth of it was this would be one of the few ways Thalion wouldn't go anywhere himself. He finally sighed before settling back down and wrapping his arms around Mizuki before speaking. "I'm not going anywhere.. not if i have a say in it.."

Mizuki smiled and closed his eyes managing to say one last word before he fell asleep again "...good..." And with that he was out. The warmth of the others body relaxed him completely to the point that he didnt notice Riku enter once more, he was already out.

Riku smiled, he maybe blind but the combined auras of the two was bright "He will heal and will be able to sit tomorrow" He said 'But he can not walk for the next thee days no matter what" Riku said with a smile "As for you...you are to not leave that bed for the next day" Before Thalion could protest he cut him off "Gaurds are stationed around the camp, resorces are being gathered and building are almost fixed" He said slightly 'Just rest...thats the only worrie you should have" With that he turned and left.

After everything settled down Raden finally got Neimi to rest. Both of them were going to be fine he kept telling her, besides they were both damn stubborn so death wasn't a option. She smiled weakly before going back home to rest, she looked like she needed it. Raden would follow her in a few hours after he finished helping with some of the rubble around the place.

Thalion was too focused on Mizuki who was resting to even notice that Riku had entered again. Though when the mage spoke he flinched a little, he hardly liked not being aware of his surroundings. Though he kept his mouth shut this time, not like fighting with him would do any good. Also going against his will seemed fruitless as well if he was just going to knock him out again. This sucked he really would be stuck here.

He sighed a little listening to Riku go over everything that was taken care of. Once he was done and said he needed to just focus on rest he nodded weakly, it was hard to believe he was being submissive about this. Then again he had no choice in the matter. He waited a moment listening to the others footsteps before speaking. "Riku was it?.. Thank you." That was something on it's own, it went against everything Thalion was to thank anyone or even be half way civil.

Riku nodded his head back to Thalion before he left. He would leave the two to do the healing between just them. Besides he had other things to take care of.

It was half a day more before Mizuki groaned and opened his eyes. He was shocked a little to see that Thalion was still holding him just the way he had when he fell asleep. His throat was parched and he needed something to drink. Turning his head a little he saw the cup of water on the table and he sighed. There was no way in hell that he was getting that cup.

He had opened one eye when he felt the other move. He let it be for a moment before speaking up. "You know you could ask instead of glaring at it." It was a little funny yet not at the same time. Mizuki never liked asking for help, that was something the two had in common. At the least Mizuki didn't look like he was half dead like he did yesterday.

He was rather surprised that his cursing earlier didn't disrupt his sleeping anyway seeing as Neimi came in to tend to the wounds he had caused to open from yesterday. "I could get it for you-" that that was cut off as Neimi quickly plucked her fingers just above one of the wounds she had closed earlier. "You'll do no such thing or next time I'll do worse." She warned him before walking off and bringing a pitcher back with her to sit it on the table before she bothered with the cup.

"Your suppose to be staying in bed remember? and I have my own methods of keeping you there." She noticed he was hardly pleased with that thought. She smiled a little before helping Mizuki sit up so he could drink if he wanted. "Though I think someone here might like those methods..." She was merely teasing though knowing how those two were with one another. Thalion's ears went back a little as she finished with Mizuki and started to walk off before he muttered in his breath. "You wouldn't dare.. " Looking back at him he smiled almost evilly before speaking. "I might ... or I might suggest it as a idea for Mizuki to use later if you end up misbehaving." With that she seemed to walk off laughing at the thought.

Mizuki lightly shook his head at the rant the other gave to Thalion . It was funny that even in a time like this they could still joke and play. After Neimi walked off Mizuki sighed and then hissed in pain as he moved to sit better. That was not a smart thing to do it would seem.

Mizuki looked over to Thalion though before moving his hand to rest on the others arm his thumb stroking the skin there "How are you..." Mizuki asked in a little whisper not wanting to really use much energy he was still retoring. Though it seemed to be a silly question to ask

He was still glaring at where Neimi had walked off as Mizuki spoke up as he touched his arm. Looking back at him he didn't really want to answer that. "Been worse.." Though thats what he said in most cases, seeing as Mizuki didn't seem to accept that answer he sighed before speaking again. "We'll just say I did something stupid the other day.. though at the same time we have er... about 300 or so units less to deal with?" He didn't want the other to ask details about what he meant by that and he prayed he wouldn't. Though this was Mizuki he wasn't one to take such simple answers. Let alone the ones that had hidden meanings behind them.

Mizukis soft relaxed gaze turned stern in a instent "What do you mean" He asked slightly. He knew that Thalion had a temper but Mizuki didnt know the extent of what happened. As far as he knew he was passed out for awhile. Mizuki still didnt know that he actually died. Mizuki glared at Thalion when the other male didnt reaply as fast as he had hoped "Thalion...you tell me, right now" He said in a stern voice "what did you do?"

He didn't want to tell him in truth. He knew Mizuki and how he'd react to something like that. "Nothing... " His ears went back but the hand that was still on his arm from the other seemed to tighten a little as a warning if he didn't speak up already. "They said you were dead, hell Neimi was crying ... no one ever said you were coming back." Sure the one mage had his damn riddle but drows were hardly the ones to play around with their words, even the older ones still were rather blunt. "So I left.. my intention was to just take out a few of the fleeing army to get my temper back under control." He looked away from Mizuki knowing he should expect the worse as soon as he finished speaking. "Just it didn't end till the camp was destroyed.. " He figured Mizuki could figure it out without him spelling it out, he wanted to be blunt but hell he didn't want Mizuki getting too pissed either.

Mizuki sat there still. The hand on Thalions arm tightend before he let it go roughly "Are you kidding me..." he began angerly before his emotions began to take over and he began to see read "After everything that happened you were going to go and get yourself killed because you lost one person" Mizuki knew that what he said was a little harsh but there was more to come.

"You could of damned this entire army because of one person" That is when Mizuki got to his feet in a rage "You could have gotten yourself killed!" He stated yelling at the top of his lungs "What on this green earth were you thinking?" He yelled "Yes you may have lost one but there is so many more out there that need you that rely on you and you would have forsaken them all!!" Mizuki lashed out then. Slaming his fist in the others face they both tumbled to the floor falling over the edge of the bed where Thalion sat.

This didnt stop Mizuki. He could feel the blood from his opening wounds staining the bandages but he didnt care he needed to get this into Thalions head "Why...why would you do something like that!?" He asked and lashed out again hitting the male "Not just because of me" He said hitting him again his hits becoming weaker and weaker as he repeated that statement over and over until he collapsed his energy wasted.

His ears were still back as he snapped a little. "I wasn't going to go get myself killed! " He winced a little as Mizuki punched him before forcing the both of them onto the floor. "Damn it would you listen to me?" He hissed out before being struck again. After a while he forced Mizuki to stop punching seeing as he was just making himself weaker anyway. "Listen to me! I wasn't planning on dying, I came back on my own I wasn't carried. Before you go about telling me what I should and shouldn't do fucking think about what your saying."

He breathed out still holding Mizuki's fist in his hand. "We're not the same, your kind can control their emotions. My race is cursed. Would you have rather I stayed here and possible done the same damage here? Damn it all I was told was you were dead. I was going to come back but after I took care of part of the group that caused this to happen. I know theres people here who depend on me, I never asked for that either but I'm not turning my back on them." He released Mizuki's fist before wrapping his arms around the other wincing a little as his sides pained him from the fall. "How was I suppose to know.. I can't use any power so how the hell was I suppose to know.."

He could go on for a while still but it was pointless to do so as he stayed where he was still holding the other. He didn't want to worry him hell he never wanted him to know because he knew this would have happened. He was probably lucky that Mizuki was still weak and this was the most he could do.

Mizukis breathing was heavy as he laid there "They could have killed out" He breathed out weakly listening as the other raved. That is when Mizuki stopped...powers "you mean...you lost all controle" This angered Mizuki again. Getting a second wind he pushed himself up hissing in pain as he did you "You lost your self so much you used your power...do you have any idea what that could of done to you!" He yelled again looking to the male below him ignoring the person who just entered the room. He assumed it was Neimi. Mizuki knew it was only a matter of time before she did enter the room.

"You have died from over use or worse been consumed by your rage and then your powers!" He began yelling once more "You would have doomed more then just your self!" He said lashing out more hitting him again "I cant beleive you would be so reackless" He said before his state finaly cought up to him and he all put collapsed on top of Thalion his world starting to blacken at the edges.
