Dark took a quick glance at the code Alexander was pointing to. "I was the main coder and editor. Why do you want to know?" Dark turned back to the computer and had his internet and work back up in a second. "Guys I'm back and I'll take a still active bot and see if I can figure out whose it is and if I can reset the code barriers better."

he said nothing went back to looking at it

The group gave a verbal agreement. A few minutes later Kelly anounced, "Account 434823 cleared of all bots, sealed until Dark puts his code in to reset bot barriers."

Sean followed right behind his fiance, "Account 90345 also cleared and sealed. Me and Kelly will start on Account 48024." There where a few more minutes of silence before Kadver spoke.

"I have isoleted the momma bot and killed all it spawn for account 8402344, I'll leave the rest to you Dark."

he looked around for a pencil and paper, finding some he started to write out the code, over and over and over up one side and down the other he looked for more paper

Dark looked up from his work to see Alexander writing the same code over and over. "Alexander, are you okay?" His hands were still working without him paying attention. Dark was currently was working with isolating the main bot.

he made a noise. "nnnn" and went to look for more paper, he felt really bad now

Now Dark was really worried. "Alexander?" And in his worry did not say it low enough that the other's could not hear.

"Alexander?" Kelly asked at the same time Sean and Kadver asked.

"My friend," Dark supplied, "I think he may be sick."

"Dark finally got a boyfriend?" Kelly asked, "I hope he gets well soon enough for us to have a double wedding."

".....dark" he whined "i don't want to make anymore" he couldn't find any paper so he put his pencil to the nearest wall ans scratched out the codes

"I'll be right back, guys." Dark said worried about Alexander. He quickly resealed the acount so the bot would not escape. "What can I do to help?" Dark asked Alexander but his eyes widened slightly at what he was writing. "The bot code must be still trying to duplicate. Do you have a memory bank or something that I coul erase it from?"

"huh? i don't understand" he had no clue what the other was talking about. the pencil broke and he went to the desk to find another. he tripped over the book as he went. quickly he got up and fished around for another. he went back to the wall and kept scribbling

"The code can be stopped by erasing it from memory banks." Dark explain, "You ate it so is it possible you have something similar to the memory bank of a computer. Something that stores and contains all information you have gathered."

he did not stop writing but he did look away towards the other "my book" he went back to his codes

"Your book?" Dark was slightly lost then he rembered the code Alexander had shown him. "Your book." He repeated and started looking for the book. He spotted it and was surprised to see what most of it was filled with. "Which one is it?" He asked himself while looking at the last few pages. "DO I just erase it?" HE did not want to hurt Alexander.

he did not know the answer so he just whimpered. his hand was beginning to hurt

Dark heard the whimper and hoped he knew what he was doing. He found the code that made itself recreate and crossed that section out.

it felt like someone was scratching at his brain. he dropped the pen and held his head, he felt something leave him like sand falling through the cracks. he dropped his hands as the last of it fell through. he forgot what he was doing and turned to the other to ask

Dark was waitng for the other to do something after he scratched the part out. He was a little worried until the other turned to him. "Are you okay, Alexander?"

"i don't know. what happened to the wall?" he looked up ad the sprawl of nonsense scribbled in his lord's livingroom

"You wrote a bot code all over the wall." Dark said, "Don't you remember?"

"no?" he was confused again. all he knew is one minute he was trying to puke his guts out and the next he was standing next to a decimated a wall with dark making faces. "should i?

"I have no idea." Dark confessed and handed Alexander his book back. Dark was slightly freaked out by the book itself and wanted nothing to do with it. "And I'm not sure I want to find out."

he took the book back without really understanding. he rubbed his thumbpad over the cover and it hummed. he wanted to look but his lord's face left a knot in his stomach, he dropped the book and stepping over it embraced the other. "whatever it is, it will be alright"

"Not alright." Dark insisted. "I just erased some of your memory." Dark did not want to do that and he wished there had been another way.

'oh' was all he could think to say. he was not sure how to comfort the other but he felt fine as far as he could tell and from the wreckage of the room it had obviously been in his best interest. he dipped his head until it was even with his lord "i trust you"

Dark felt that these words held great power and faith in them... Faith he did not deserve. "Maybe you shouldn't." Dark whispers, he has done nothing to deserve faith or trust. The whispered word of 'monster' returns to him and Dark feels the energy drain out of him.

he felt the other melt into himself until he was the only thing keeping his lord standing. he hefted the other into his arms and carried him back to the bed. belatedly he realized the blanket was in the other room but he did not want to leave his lord in the state. he placed the other as close to the center of the bed as he could and crawled in after. he did not have a story to make it better though he was growing more and more used to that, but he was coming to realize that sometimes silence was just as much a balm as words. he hoped that it would work this time too

Daark did not start protesting until he was in bed, "But, Alexander those people have to have their acounts fixed." Dark tried to get out of bed but his limbs were heavy and unresponsive for the most part. Dark was determined to get back to his computer though.

"what people? why do you have to change their opinions? no, you are staying here." he did not understand his lord's babbling but he did know that sickness was best countered with rest. he ignored the chittering sound of the machine in the livingroom and held the other close.

Dark tried to escape Alexander's grasp but failed. "Not opinions, their bank acounts so they can access their money." Dark tried to explain but he was pretty sure his sluggish response was not making any sense. "I guess I can stay for a little longer." Dark admitted after his failure at escaping.

he was not sure he understood but he mumbled an affirmation anyway, a few minutes later when the other had calmed down and fell into a light doze he disentangled himself and padded for the living-room to get the blanket. as he passed by the computer he could hear the voices, they were not being so loud this time so there was little worry of them waking the other but he figured that since he was out here he'd help dark with his account problem. he looked angrily at the screen "excuse me computer people" the talking ceased at once "dark is not well and we are going to bed. please fix the account so people can access money again. thankyou" a small box popped up on the screen and a female face appeared. her voice came out through the speakers "wait, what? who are you, are you alexander, why are you in your underwear" he repeated himself for the face not caring when two more windows popped up "dark is not well. we are going to bed. fix the accounts. yes i am alexander. they are not mine, i am not supposed to sleep naked. he was done talking to the computer so he did what he saw the other do with the small box every time he was done with it and closed the lid. the voices started up all at once but abruptly stopped when the computer went into sleep mode. he grabbed the blanket and headed back to the bed-room. he hoped the other would feel better soon

"Who did you talk to?" Dark mumbled. "I heard voices and I don't hink they were mine." Dark then adopted a confused expression, "Or were they? I can remember." Dark gave a half shrugging montion then grabbed for Alexander. "Teddy bear Alexander isn't allowed to leave."

he felt a thrill in his belly as the other grabbed him. he gladly crawled back into the bed. "your computer people, the problem is solved"

"They unsealed the accounts then." Dark said with a sleepy smile and curled up to Alexander. "Thank you, Alexander."

he did not know what that meant but it sounded about right. he laid his fingers over his lords forehead but the other was not dreaming. he sighed gratefully and trailed his fingers down the face. there was so much he did not know and so much he needed to do. he was not sure how he could make the other happy. he sighed again this time in frustration. no matter what the boy said he kept being sad and alexander could do nothing but make it worse, it was at times like these he wanted the reassuring comfort of his book telling him what to do

Dark woke up curled up with Alexander and still in his clothes from the night before. First he untagled himself then headed towards the shower woundering why he had forgotten to change out of his clothes and what had happened last night. He remembered the phone call and the reproc=ducing bots but that was about all he could remember.

he was not asleep, for he did not sleep, but he was in a light doze when the other got up to go to the bathing-closet. he rolled over after the other left and stared at the door. he could hear the water turn on but he was halted in his desire to follow by the memory of yesterday evening. he stayed in bed not sure whether his need to be near the other was acceptable. on the one hand he simply had to be near the other but just as importantly he knew he would not be able to control himself should anything.....happen. he decided to take the middle ground and went to the door of the water-closet and sat down. he leaned against the door and closed his eyes

Dark took a quick shower feeling refreshed and wrapped a towel around himself. He almost walked over Alexander who was sitting at the door, "Good morning, Alexander." Dark was slightly confused at why Alexander was at the door but passed it off as a quirk of the other, he always seemed to need to know that Dark was still there and whole.

"good morning" he replied as the other stepped over him. he got off of the floor and followed the other.

Dark headed towards his room for a bathrobe then headed towards the kitchen. "Would you like some coffee or tea?" Dark asked still trying to wake up. The shower had helped but not all the way and he still felt he was missing something from last night.

he found his pants from before and slid into them. trailing a foot or so behind the other he was led into the kitchen 'tea with milk' he had never had tea before but it sounded right. he sat at the table and watched the other make drinks
