Also, who's to say they would get the best of both? Why couldn't they end up with the soft bones of the Asca-Tam, and the mutated horn and albino skin(Which would make them extremely sensitive, namely t olight), and then have the berserk mode and fangs of the Gru'ume. Then, we'd have a severely screwed up offspring =D The steel bones, if you must know, are meant to be a curse on them, from a very angry Geomancer. |

Their bones are also very heavy, and when it gets too hot out, their bones conduct heat like metal does. Their life is full of pains =)

Hence they're living near the Asca-Tam. They take the tops of the mountains, while the Gru'ume live in caves and such, where it's nice and cool.
