Blaze started to doubt whether she should do this or not. "... Will it help you too?" she asked. "Or will it get worse?"

Even Laurel could tell he was still there, but he still didn't poke his head out. Maybe he was waiting for her to leave.

"If you managed to tire me out, then it would help," Wolfe stated in a way which seemed that he doubted it would happen.

Laurel didn't leave and she didn't move for a long time. But after a long moment there was some shuffling and the big gun she had grabbed went off again. She managed not to cuss so badly after this one.

Blaze thought about it another moment before replying, "... Let's go outside." The smoke seemed to be annoying her.

Raven was being really patient. He seemed prepared to camp out all night if necessary.

Wolfe paused before slowly standing.

Laurel kept shooting for a long time before it fell quiet. She still didn't leave.

So Blaze walked off to find some other place to fight.

So Raven made himself as comfortable as he could for the night.

Wolfe followed a little behind Blaze.

Laurel wasn't moving, she'd probably be there all night as well. Ever hour or so, she shot another round with the big gun.

Blaze found an open area outside away from any water. She stretched briefly before waiting for Wolfe.

Wolfe didn't stretch but Blaze could tell that every mustle in his body had the perfect balance of tension and elasticity. He was ready to pounce if she attacked.

Blaze studied Wolfe a moment before tying her hair back. Then she began her attack.

Wolfe and Blaze fought, evenly matched at first but Wolfe did not tire. He fought at the same level until he forced Blaze to her knees. Even as she continued to fight he knocked her down again and again until she couldn't get up. It looked like he might go for the kill but stopped at the last moment, cursing. "Not tired at all," he muttered before stalking off.

Snow ran in just a little too late, "What the terra?!" she cursed Blaze out as she ran over to her, "Challenging Wolfe when he's in that state, you itching to die?!"

Blaze said nothing as she laid on the ground panting.

"Stupid!" Snow growled as she looking Blaze over for serious injuries.

Blaze had survived Wolfe's on-slot fairly well. It looked like her shoulder had been dislocated and her ankle was getting swollen. But it didn't look like she had broken anything. But it looked like she'd have some nice bruises and a bloody lip for awhile. She remained quiet as she stared at the sky.

Once Snow saw nothing was serious she backed off, administering no first aid. "Log," she spat before turning to leave.

Blaze let her leave, not asking for help. After a few minutes she slowly got up and popped her own shoulder back in with a shout before limping off to her room. In the morning, she was no where to be found.

And quite to the surprise of everyone, Nic was up and about when the sun rose.

No one was up and about but Tulip who skipped over to Nic when she spotted him.

Nic kept walking as if to avoid a conversation with her.

"Nic~" Tulip complained, "Don't ignore a lady!"

Nic kept ignoring her.

"Whatyya doing?" she asked, unperturbed by his silence.

Still nothing as he kept walking. It didn't look like he was going to respond to her anytime soon.

Tulip kept annoying Nic with question and random chatter about nothing in particular. She seemed to have a fascination with sinister things though,

After walking around and grabbing a quick breakfast, Nic cut Tulip off. "Could you give Laurel a message for me?" he asked her.

Tulip blinked a moment before grinning, "What'llya give me?" she replied eagerly.

"... What do you want?" Nic asked blankly.

Tulip shrugged, "Whatya got?"

"Nothing," Nic replied.

Tulip paused a moment before grinning slyly, "How 'bout a kiss?"

"No," Nic replied simply.

Tulip pouted, "You're not fun at all," she complained before sighing, "What's the message?"

"Tell her we're going on a date, so come to my room at five," he replied.

Tulip made a sour face, "Fine, but that's boring," and went to find Laurel.

She eventually found her in the shooting range and had to half carry her out.

Nic was no where to be seen for most of the day. But a boat was missing until early afternoon.

Laruel went to the infirmary for a little while before disappearing back into her room. James found her later and started chatting with her. When he found out about her injured shoulder he somehow connived her to go into the hot tub with him. At 5:15 a dripping wet, bikini clad Laurel burst into Nic's room with a panicked expression and still slightly bruised shoulder, "I'm so sorry!"

Nic wasn't in his room. But there was a large box on his bed with a sheet of the resort's notepaper on top. It simply read, 'Laurel' in Nic's handwriting.

Laurel let out a sigh of relief and then looked confused as she noticed the box. She went over to it, carefully removing the paper with his handwriting before opening the top of the box, careful not to get Nic's bed wet.

Inside was an expensive, long red dress covered in red flowers. And underneath that was a small pad with a directional activated. It looked like it was directing her to some place in the resort.

Laurel spent a good amount of time staring at the dress, then touching it. After a moment turn turned, took a quick shower and carefully slipped into the dress, trying to keep her shoulder from moving too much. When she was done and spruced up and looked around with a sigh, "No shoes?" she mused, "I have nothing to go with this..." She shrugged and went barefoot as she attempted to follow the directions. She was pretty bad at it.

The dress fit Laurel surprisingly well.

Nic seemed to have thought that Laurel might have trouble. It started talking to her when she went the wrong way and attempted to guide her along.

It took her to a part of the resort that still hadn't been touched. It was a little bit of a maze, but when she finally got there, she rounded a corner to find Nic standing outside a large set of doors waiting patiently for her. His expression was the same, but it was like he was a different person. He had cleaned himself up, styled his hair a little, and was wearing a tux. And probably the most shocking was that he pulled it all off rather well.

Laurel started talking back to the machine, expecting it to respond to her. As a result of her complete focus on the machine she didn't notice Nic until the machine told her she'd arrived.

"Arrived?! I'm in the middle of a maze you rust-crusted-" and stopped mid-word as she looked around and spotted Nic. Her jaw fell open, eyes widening and for the first time in the history of Nic meeting Laurel, she was struck absolutely speechless.
