Missy shook her head a little. "Of everyone, you're the one least likely to believe it," she sighed.
"twy me!" Rosen replied with a lopsided grin.
"... Nah," Missy replied, not as confident anymore.
"why... The mythery?" Rosen replied slowly.
"... It helps with business," Missy replied with a half-smile.
"but... Imma not business!" Rosen comlained.
Missy rolled her eyes. She paused a moment before taking another sip, standing, and walking a little closer to the water. "... When I meet someone, I typically go by Miss Q," she explained slowly. "... If a file exists, I can find it... I'm always touching and taking over new servers and content, ever expanding my presence everywhere... So, I go by the alias Promiscuous." Promiscuous was indeed a very well known name in the computing world. He, or rather, she was thought to be one of the best in the business.
"You a promiscuous gurl?" Rosen yawned.
Missy didn't answer that as she stepped in the water.
"what'ya doing?" Rosen called.
"Nothing," Missy replied as she let the water run over her feet.
"Swimmin'?" Rosen dralled.
"No," Missy replied.
"what's yer name?" Rosen repeated in a chant.
Missy just sighed a little as she started brainstorming how to get them back to the boat. And then how she was going to drive the boat.
The boat had drafted a ways out. They might be stuck on their island for awhile.
So Missy brainstormed as Rosen chanted. Maybe she would have to swim out to get it.
Rosen slowly got to his feet as stumbled towards the water, "I wanna swim too!"
Missy was too busy tuning Rosen out to notice him stumbling toward the water.
So as a result, Rosen was stripped naked and ankle deep in water before he let out a shout which alerted Missy, "Fishies!"
Missy glanced over before quickly looking away with a few cusses. Maybe she should just swim to the boat and leave him here to fend for himself.
Rosen splashed around before quickly getting in over his head, literally. It didn't look like he was a strong drunk swimmer.
Missy cussed a few more times before going over to help Rosen out.
Rosen was floundering pretty bad and ended up mostly dragging Missy down with him.
Before he could completely drag her down, she tossed her jacket, blouse, and skirt on shore so she'd have something dry. And so she cussed as she tried to drag Rosen by the arm back on shore.
After a few mishaps and when Rosen was in shallow enough water, he took a few deep breaths before noticing Missy. His eyes immediately check her over completely.
Missy wasn't bad looking. Her undergarments weren't quite Yue's standards, but they weren't plain. And with a little bit of toning and tanning, she could stand next to any average genetically enhanced girl.
She sighed a little as she caught her breath. Then after a few moments, she finally noticed Rosen's eyes and her face turned bright red as she covered herself up a little. |
Rosen paused a moment then threw up in the water.
Missy gagged a little as she walked back up on the beach, putting her skirt and blouse back on.
Rosen teetered a little then fell to one side, head underwater as he passed out.
-- Wolfe was sitting alone in one of the conference rooms, air already heavy with his smoke. |
Missy sighed and went over to him, dragging him up onto the shore before tossing his shirt on him to cover him up.
-- Blaze invited herself in. "... I'm going to fight you," she decided, getting to the point. |
Wolfe didn't even acknowledge Blaze, smoking in silence.
Blaze went over to him, expecting him to get up.
-- After sleeping most of the day, Raven had spent most of the end of the day at the shooting range alone. |
Wofle didn't move a muscle.
Blaze moved to give Wolfe a jab in the arm, expecting him to block.
Wolfe didn't block. But that seemed to get his attention as his gaze shifted to give Blaze a very icy and borderline dangerous glare.
-- Laurel eventually joined Raven, looking a bit depressed herself as she looked over the guns. |
"I need to think," she explained to Wolfe.
-- Raven wasn't immediately visible. He could be heard shifting around a little; it sounded like he was sitting in one of the booths out of sight. |
Wolfe continued to stare at her but slowly he reached up and took the cigarette out of his mouth, setting it on the table, "I might kill you," he said flatly.
-- Laurel paused before taking a different private booth and trying a bigger gun. As soon as it went off Laurel's curses could heard. |
Blaze blinked. "... You're going to fight back?" she asked, surprised. Since they had an argument about the opposite last time they did this.
-- Raven didn't show himself. |
Wolfe's gaze was still icy but it seemed to be growing steadily wilder. He was clear he wouldn't be able to hold anything back if she picked a fight with him right now.
-- Laruel continued to cuss but it grew gradually quieter. |
