Serus was about to move, but found herself suddenly feeling slower. She quickly gathered up a psychic attack, launching it at Damien, unsure if her aim was correct.
Next thing she knew, she was free of the spell and Damien was in the bookcase. "Not the literature." She sighed, using her telekinesis to grab Damien by the head and drag him on the floor until he was in front of her. "Why hello there.." She grinned darkly, lifting him up while he was still in her hold. Suddenly she sent Damien flying through the wall to the back yard. She stepped through the hole, careful of the splinters, still holding Damien's head with her power, "Oh I'm sorry, I meant for you to hit the window." |
"Not the wall." Seth said with a sigh. He got up and went to the hole and watched Serus. "I'd say fight back Damien but you have no chance." Seth said with a chuckle.
Damien's head felt like it was going to explode. "Please stop I beg you." Damien said slyly. Damien felt the pressure loosen up a little bit. He teleported behind Seth. "I'm just kidding I am all good." Damien said with a smirk. Damien felt something go through his abdomen. "You really need to stop going behind me." Seth said with a sigh as he sent a piece of wood through Damien's abdomen with telekinesis. "Sorry Serus but I wanted to hurt him a little bit." Seth said as he pinched his fingers together. "Plus that's my payback for him breaking my wall." Seth said as he moved out of the way so Serus could attack Damien. "Wow you are a bleeder." Seth said with a chuckle as he saw the blood on the floor. Damien grunted with the board through his abdomen. "You are a good shot honey cake." Damien said as he fell to his knees. "I love your ass mm, it just looks so delicious in those pants." Damien said licking his lips. Damien pulled the board out of his abdomen. "Gahhh!" Damien yelled at the pain. "You really shouldn't of done that, but ohh well your going to die anyway." Seth said as he shrugged. {1 post you can use him tink} |
Serus sighed, "While I must agree with you Damien, I don't appreciate you looking at him like that." With a growl, she forced him to the ground with her power as she approached him, "Perhaps I'll have to fix that." She jumped up, landing on her knees on his chest, further breaking his already damaged ribs, "Now then.." She pulled a knife from her calf, spinning it a bit, "shall we get started Dai-dai?"
She launched a blast of telekinesis at him, sending him into a bit of a crater. She placed her hand over his mouth, gripping it tightly and keeping his head in place, "I'm going to enjoy this~" She smiled darkly at him, lightly dragging the knife along his chin. No matter how hard he struggled, Damien could not get free. Serus had him in a tight telekinetic grip and he was too low on power to stop her time and survive. Not to mention, if he did, Seth was another issue. He could only stop one person at a time. As Serus cut his cheek he winced. Serus grinned lightly placing the tip of the knife under his left eye, "Now I want to say 'This won't hurt a bit', but then I'd be lying. And I don't like lying. So..brace yourself I guess.." She lifted the knife, point facing his eye, then drove it through his eyeball, twisting it around until it was sufficiently shredded. Damien howled out, writhing on the ground. He tried to turn his head away, but Serus was surprisingly strong. He clenched his teeth, feeling the blood run down his face as Serus shredded his eye and pulled her knife out. Next thing he knew, her knife was in his other eye, doing the same thing. The pain was unbearable, yet he could do nothing about it. |
"Ouch that has to hurt." Seth said as Serus stuck the knife into Damien's eye. "Well I wish I didn't wear these tight pants." Seth said with a chuckle. "Serus I know you love inflicting pain, and I love that about you but can you kill him already?" Seth asked as he stepped in Damien's blood. "Well it looks like I'm going to have to take another shower." Seth said as he felt the warm liquid on his foot. Seth looked around the room. "I might as well have this room gutted." Seth said as he looked at Damien. "Aww are you gonna cry?" Seth asked looking at Damien's still in tacked eye. "One more thing Damien, I somewhat envy you I mean other than the broken ribs, the shredded eye, whoops well I mean eyes, and the big gaping hole in you abdomen... Wait where was I? Oh right, Serus is on top." Seth said with lust in his eye's.

Serus looked over to Seth as he spoke, "We can easily fix this you know." She winked, then turned her attention back to Damien. "Now then, since you can't see my Seth, I think you'll find this a lot more painful."
She took her knife, driving it through his heart, twisting it around, "It's a shame I'm not able to have more fun, but all good things must end I suppose." She sliced open his chest, ripping his heart from his chest and tossing it aside. When she felt his brain activity disappear, she stood, throwing her knife into his skull. "Well! That was fun!" She turned and walked over to Seth, "Now, if you don't mind, I need to shower." She winked as she walked away, through the hole in the wall and to the first bathroom she found. She quickly slipped out of her dress and hopped into the shower, taking extra care to wash the blood from her hair. |
When Serus left Seth teleported to his room to get a few sheets. He teleported back to the study and hung the sheets over the holes so no one could see in, even though Seth had no neighbors. "I need a shower to." Seth said as he got a little blood on his hand and went out the door and wrote 'Do not enter.' on it. "Felix you can come home now but don't go into the study." Seth said as he looked for the bathroom that Serus was in. He found it after a few seconds, he politely knocked. "Serus do you mind if I join you?" Seth asked as he entered and shut the door. He started to undress and got in the shower.

Serus glanced to the door as she heard a knock, "Of course not. We can save some water while we're at it." She smiled slightly as he stepped in, "My, my, aren't you just dirty." She gently ran her finger along his chest, "I'm going to have to fix that."

*** They got out of the shower, Seth helped Serus dry off. "Serus when you ready meet me up in my room there's something I wanna give you." Seth said with a smile as he teleported to his room. He got dressed, he grabbed something from his night stand and put it in his pocket. He felt Serus teleport into his room. "Let me see where did I put it?" Seth asked himself as he looked all over his room. "Ah here it is." Seth said as he grabbed it and walked over to Serus. "Here you go." Seth said with a smile as he handed Serus her original hat. "There is one more thing." Seth said as he grabbed what he put in his pocket. He got down on one knee. "Serus Antinori will you marry me?" Seth asked hoping she would say yes. While Seth was upstairs Felix and Annemarie got home. "I wonder what he means by not going in the study." Felix walked by the study ready to open the doors when he saw blood on the door, and on the floor. "Oh dear. Annemarie can you go into the living room?" Felix asked wanting to open the door. Felix waited until Annemarie was out of sight, he opened the door. "Oh dear, oh dear." He said as he walked up to the sheet on the outside wall, he pulled it aside. "SON OF A BITCH!" Felix yelled as he looked into the back yard. "I told him not to go in there." Seth thought to himself still waiting for Serus' answer. |
Serus dried off her hair a bit with a towel. She lifted her dress, frowning. "Well I can't wear this..but I can't wear nothing..Oh my." She pondered a moment, then decided to just keep the towel wrapped around her until she could get to her mansion.
She then teleported to Seth room, "Hey..what is it that you.." She trailed off as he handed her her original hat. She set it aside, "Thank you.." She looked over to Seth as he shrunk from her view. She stared, taken aback. Of course she loved Seth, but she didn't quite know if she was willing to marry him. After a few moments of silence, she silently held out her left him to him. She took a breath and nodded, "...of course.." She smiled at him, curious as to what Markus would think. |
Seth put the ring on Serus' hand. He stood up and gave her a hug. Seth heard Annemarie coming. "So much for alone time." Seth thought with a sigh.
"Hi daddy." Annemarie said outside the door. "Hey hunbun, you room is the next one over. I will be over there in a second to put you down for a nap." Seth said looking at Serus. "Okie daddy." Annemarie said skipping into her new room. "I should probably go put her down now.": Seth said as he kissed Serus on the cheek. Seth walked to the door. "I will be right back." Seth said as he walked out of the room. "Hey hunbun." Seth said with a smile, as he walked into the room. "Hey daddy, I love my new room." She said as she looked around her room. "That's why I gave it to you." Seth said picking her up. "Thank you daddy." She said as she got picked up. "You are welcome." Seth said as he carried her and put her in her bed. "Sleep tight hunbun." Seth said as he kissed her on the forehead. "I will daddy." Annemarie said. |
She nodded, and after he left, she took the ring off, looking at it with a slight frown. She eyed the ring,gently turning it in her fingers for a moment before replacing it on her finger. Oh dear.. She then smiled slightly, twisting the ring around a few times as she looked back to see if Seth was coming back in. She could still sense him down in Annemarie's room.

Seth walked back into his room. "Serus what's wrong?" Seth asked hoping she wasn't second guessing her answer. " Before she could answer. "Serus I will still love you if you don't wanna marry me right now or not yet." Seth said grabbing her hand. "That ring only makes you more beautiful." Seth said with a smile.

"It's not that Seth, I'm very happy about this decision." She smiled a bit, giving him a hug. She held his hands in hers, "Honestly." She let him go, her hands holding up the towel, "I just need some clothes though. I'll be back." She kissed his cheek and disappeared.
She reappeared in her room, throwing open her closet doors. Not much was left in here. She did find one last remaining set of her black dress. She smiled brightly, quickly pulling it out. "Of course she'd save at least one." She undid the towel, quickly slipping into her dress with a purr like sound. "Perfect~" She quickly tied up the various ties then looked over seeing something glitter in the sunlight. She gasped slightly, hurrying over to the table. Her watch. She picked it up, placing it in it's rightful place, tying to the ribbon on her back. "Marvelous~" She did a twirl, looking herself over in the full length mirror. She gave a quick nod, then hurried into her bathroom, grabbing a pair of scissors from the drawer. She always kept a pair as she never went to a stylist. After all, she had white hair. She didn't like the looks people gave her as it is. She quickly trimmed up her hair so it was waist length, "Ah much better." She double checked to make sure it was even then teleported back to Seth's room, appearing behind him. She quickly tied her hat then tapped his shoulder, holding out her arms, "Well?" |
Seth was looking out the window, when he felt a tap on his shoulder. "Beautiful." Seth said as he gave her a hug. "Is everything ok with Jaelynn? I haven't heard from her in a while." Seth asked kind of worried. Seth sat on the couch in front of his bed. "It feels nice to sit on something comfortable." Seth said with a chuckle. He patted on the spot next to him, signaling Serus to sit next to him.

She sat down, "She's alright. She's uh...well, dealing with the council. I don't want to disturb her while she's doing that. Oh, ow..she got got her arm broken. Yeah that has to hurt." She winced a bit, "Perhaps we should check in on her." She grabbed his hand, getting ready to teleport them both, "Shall we?"

"Serus I think you should stay here, I mean you will strike fear in the council, but..." He trailed off as he looked at Serus. "I can't say no to you, let's go." Seth said as he looked into her eye's.

She smiled, transporting them to the main council hall, "What a mess.." She lifted her foot with a frown, "I don't want to know what that stuff is." She let out a squeak, pulling Seth downward as Jaelynn flew over them, "Mornin hun."
Jaelynn crashed into the wall with a grunt, quickly getting up and setting her arm, "You...ugh I can't even think of a word I want to use! You were not supposed to come here Ser--..us.." She threw up her hands, "Aw hell, fuck it. Deal with it yourself. I took care of Carl. Good. Bye." She threw her knife to Serus then disappeared, clearly aggravated. Serus caught the knife, a bit confused, "Um..okay? Bye?" She turned to face the room which was oddly silent. She smiled weakly, waving a bit, "Hhhiiii..?" |
"Ummm well this is awkward." Seth said looking at everyone. "Everybody that's on our side come over by us. I guess." Seth said looking at Serus. Every one went back to fighting. "I guess not." Seth said shrugging. "Well let's get to work..." Seth started to say as Serus ran into the room. "Well my turn." Seth said as he teleported into the room. Seth pulled out the knife he had on his ankle. "So who's first?" Seth asked as a man run up and attacked him. Seth stabbed him in the stomach. Seth pulled out the knife and stuck it in the guy's heart. "Well that was easy." Seth said as he pulled the knife out. When Seth stood up he got rammed into the wall. "Well hello, and who are you?" Seth said as he kneed the guy in the gut.

Serus danced around the room, fighting with the Head of the Council. "Xander, I honestly expected more from you. I didn't expect you to be so weak after almost 1500 years." She twisted to the side, avoiding his short sword's blade. Using her momentum, she brought her arm down, dagger out, and cut deep down his chest.
The man grunted, jumping back away from her, "While I am not surprised you are behind this whole thing, the fact that you're alive and directing it does. I knew Jaelynn would follow your plans regardless, but knowing that you're still alive and orchestrating every move is just plain amazing." The cut quickly healed up and he lunged at her, driving his shoulder into her chest, sending her back into the wall. Serus crashed into the wall, smashing her head on one of the old-fashioned looking lights on the wall. She fell to her knees, holding the back of her head, "Can I not go two hours without getting all bloody again?! And if you ruin this dress Xander I will not be pleased. It's my last one!" She jumped forward, her knife penetrating his heart, sending him to his knees, "You should not have held back on me boy." |
"My name is none of your concern boy." The man said holding his stomach.
"Well that's not fair you know who I am, but I don't know who you are." Seth said as the man attacked. Seth easily dodged him and stabbed the man in the back, severing his spine. "Well lets make this quick shall we?" Seth said as he broke the guy's neck and stabbed the man in the throat. Seth quickly sliced around his neck cutting off his head. "So much for being clean." Seth said as he noticed a sword on the floor. "My kind of weapon." Seth said as he picked it up. Seth saw that Kitra was in need of assistance. Seth spun in between two people fighting and stabbed the man in the back by his heart. "Your welcome." Seth said as a man came at him. "You guy's really know how to throw a fun party." Seth said as he sliced into the man. |
Kitra laughed, throwing her dagger at the vampire coming up behind Seth, "And you are welcome." The dagger landed smack between his eyes, sending him to the floor as Kitra jumped over Seth, tackling the man to the ground. She took her second dagger and quickly used the serrated edge to cut off his head, throwing it aside, "Much better!"
Xander pounced, knocking Serus to the floor once more, his hand about to drive itself into her chest. Serus was not about to let her only dress get ruined. Oh no. She gathered up her power and focused an attack inside Xander's body. She expanded the invisible force until he exploded, pieces flying any which way. Thankfully, she put her shield up so nothing would stain her dress. With a smile, she stood up and dusted herself off. "Well..that leaves..only two left. Ah! Solomon! Good to see you." She raised her hand, clenching her fist. The vampire before Solomon suddenly collapsed to the ground. Solomon wasted no time in removing his heart and decapitating the vampire, "I was doing just fine you know..but thank you. So, how was it being dead?" "Quite pleasant. I got a job, just celebrated my 23 human birthday, and..." got engaged is what she wanted to say, but decided against it opting for, "I learned a few new tricks... Overall, it was good." "Marvelous, now look behind you." Serus let out a squeak as she was kicked in the back, falling to her knees from being thrown off balance. |
Seth was impressed with Kitra. Seth grabbed his dagger and threw it at the man across the room. "Ouch right in the ear." Seth said as he teleported to that man. "Hello there." Seth said as he jammed the sword into the man's side. Seth pulled the dagger out of the man's ear. Seth turned when he heard Serus squeak. He threw the dagger hitting the man that hit Serus, in the head. "Now for you. Quick or painful?" Seth asked as he pulled the sword up cutting the man's heart in half instantly killing him. "Quick it is." Seth said as he pulled out the sword. He grabbed the man's shirt whipping the blade off.

The man tumbled forward avoiding the dagger, but rolled to his feet, snapping his fingers igniting the air. A plume of red-orange finger rocketing towards Seth, glancing over Serus.
As soon as she heard the snap, her fight with Layla flash through her mind. She made herself as small as possible, her shield thankfully protecting her as the fire rolled over her towards Seth. She knew he'd be fine, so she wasn't concerned. While the man was focused on Seth, she got to her knees, then pounced, tackling him to the ground, her hand piercing his throat. She expanded the air inside his body at his neck, severing it and eventually decapitating him. After a moment, she stood, a bit paler than usual. She looked over to Seth with a weak smile, "Well..who knew there were elementals on the council. Heh." She got a bit weak at the knees, opting to sit on the floor. It was a close call. She would not have been able to form her shield in time. She was lucky to have had it up earlier. Kitra sighed, "Go figure, you two get here and take all the fun out of it for us. You know, we were just fine, but thank you nonetheless. How's your arm Solomon?" She went over, inspecting the area where he lost the limb, "Eeww, that is just nasty. How long til it grows back, eh?" He shrugged, "A couple days I guess. If you don't mind, I'm going to go get some fresh blood and relax. Have fun~" With that, the black haired vampire disappeared. |
Seth saw the fire coming at him, he held up his hand and drew the fire in. "Ya who knew." Seth said as he saw Serus sit on the ground. "Are you alright Serus?" Seth asked walking up to her. "I know that this just got over but who's gonna be on the new council?" Seth asked looking at Kitra. Seth kneeled down next to Serus. "We know how to crash a party huh?" Seth asked looking at Serus.

She nodded, "Yeah I'm alright. You know how I am with fire.." She quickly stood, crossing her arms, "Well I sure as hell will not put Kitra on my Council." She laughed, punching the vampire playfully, "Bah! You know I will, hun. And there's a seat for you if you want it Seth, but that's your choice." She already had her Board in mind. Other than Seth and Kitra, she would ask Solomon, Samantha, and Zeke. She did not want anymore than 6 or 7 members on her Council. She hoped that would lessen any issues.
Kitra shook her head, "I'll have to think about that offer, but you can more than likely count me on. I can't let you rule over our world without some restraint. What about Jaelynn?" Serus shook her head, "She told me she'd pass. Besides, I need someone I can trust to run my Coven. She's always welcome if she changes her mind though." She let out a sigh, closing her eyes for a moment, "Well, I should get the clean up started.." |
"Sure I will be on it." Seth said with a smile. "I should go talk to my coven to find someone to succeed me." Seth said with a sigh. "Ill see you later." Seth said giving Serus a hug. "I want all coven members at my house for a meeting now." Seth said as he teleported away. Seth arrived in his meeting room to find almost everyone there already. "Well hello everyone." Seth said as he sat down. "I am looking for my successor. I am going to be on the new council." Seth said with a smile.
"New council?" Amber asked. "Ya me, Serus, and a few other people just overthrew them." Seth said looking at everyone. "You did what!?" Adam asked surprised. "We just took over the council. Anyway back on topic I am setting up a tournament to crown the new 'leader' of this coven." Seth said with a nod. "No one will die." Seth said pointing at everyone. "Anything that is done with this coven needs to go through me first, you will have the title and power but you have to talk to me first." Seth said as he folded his hands on the table. "I will sign the title deed of this house over to Felix, because I will live in Wisconsin, where the council is." Seth said pulling out a piece of paper. "Felix come here." Seth said as he signed the paper. Felix walked up to Seth. "Here you go the house is yours." Seth said handing over the deed. "Thank you sir." Felix said grabbing the paper. "Your welcome Felix, no any questions? Good now go away." Seth said waving everyone away. Seth teleported to Wisconsin to look for a new house. |
Serus frowned as the other vampires began to disappear, not wanting to be associated with this occurrence. She was fine with that, but a little help cleaning up would be great. It took her only a few minutes to take care of the bodies, throwing him down in the basement crematory. It was not uncommon for a vampire to be burned alive here, so it was a convince that the council decided to install.
Next came all the blood. Ugghh, so much of much. She sighed, placing her hand son her hips. She used her telekinesis to grab onto the molecules of the blood, lifting it from whatever surface it had gathered on and forming a massive ball in the center of the room. She headed back downstairs to the basement level where there was also a conveniently located drain; for any spills that occurred, then made it stream out tot he drain, letting go of it as it passed through the grate. Once that was taking care of, all she'd have to do is order some furniture and new tiles, a few small things here and there and she'd be set. With a slight smile, she headed back upstairs to the main conference room. Most Council members did not live in the main house, but the Head and his or her coven usually did. Serus did not feel like uprooting the Antinori's and moving them here, but she would stay here. Someone had to right? She was pretty sure Seth would too. She placed her hands on her hips, glancing around the almost completely destroyed room with a frown. This is going to kill my personal bank. She wouldn't dare using the Coven's money to repair this. This was her fault and her doing. "Jaelynn? How are you doing?" "I'm alright. He almost severed my arm so it will take awhile to heal. Until then it will have to be in a sling for a few days. Ah well, good thing I'm not left handed." |
"Serus how are things going?" Seth asked when he found a house that he liked. "I would like to buy this house please." Seth said to the realtor.
"Yes sir I will draw up the paperwork." The man said. "Ok." Seth said looking at his watch. "Hmmm 3:30, I should get home and pack soon." Seth thought to himself. "Hey hunbun can you start packing your stuff we are gonna move again." Seth said to Annemarie. "But daddy I like my room." Annemarie said with a wine. "I know you do but I am on the new council and I wanna be close to it." Seth said looking at the realtor. "Hey Jae how are you doing?" Seth asked as he signed the papers. "That's really cool daddy." Annemarie said as she started to pack. "Here you go sir, enjoy your new home." The man said as he got in his car. "Thank you." Seth said as the man drove off. Seth waited until the man was far away, Seth teleported to his room in Washington to start packing. |
"Pretty good, just finishing off the initial clean up. Rebuilding will start in a few days while I call up some contractors and work it out. Until this room is fixed, we'll just have to use one of the others." She sighed a bit, sitting down on one of the few chairs that survived, "You don't have to move here you know. You can stay in Washington if it's too much of a hassle."

"I don't mind moving plus I already signed this house over to Felix, so I feel like I have to move." Seth said with a smile. "Ya I moving again, and feel free to drop by anytime Jae." Seth said still packing. "Felix I am taking this bed if that's ok." Seth said as he stood up.
"Of course sir." Felix said as he was cleaning up the study. "By the way Felix do you know any good butlers in Wisconsin?" Seth asked as he sat down on the bed. "Actually yes I do. His name is Calin, I can give him a call if you like." Felix said. "That would be great old man." Seth said as he got up to check on Annemarie. "How's it going hunbun?" Seth asked as he walked in. "Its going ok daddy." She said with a smile. "That's good, I'm almost done, I will come and help you when I am done." Seth said as he went back to his room. "Okie daddy." Annemarie said as she packed up her toy's. |
Soon after the fight, construction began on the mansion, and order slowly started coming through in the vampire world. Serus and her coven had been working hard to block the truth of vampires in the humans' minds; the Augustins were making a great turnaround and their coven was beginning to get some decent numbers and Jaelynn was making great progress with Annemarie's astral projection.
Serus sighed, leaning back in the chair taking a sip of the fine white wine in her glass. She wasn't really listening to the vampire before her as she began to rock the chair a bit. This is so boring. I could care less about how his Coven needs my help. Survival of the fittest does not include those who request help. After a few more minutes, she couldn't take it anymore and lifted her hand to silence him. "Look, I understand your predicament, all covens were there at one point, but we had to fend for ourselves. I'm not trying to be cold on you, but I can't just give you the protection you need. The Murai's are very powerful elementalists, and don't really appreciate the straggling groups. As I see, you have two options; join her coven or one of the rivaling elementalists. Either way, your family will get merged or destroyed. I'm sorry." The lanky man sighed, but nodded, "I understand Serus. I'm sure you have more important things to do.." He stood, shaking her hand and thanking her again then disappeared. |
Seth looked at Serus while the man was talking and he noticed that she looked bored. "Serus, Serus." Seth thought while she was talking. "Serus I agree with you but you didn't need to be so mean about it." Seth said as he looked at her. Seth looked at his watch, "Shit I got to go. I have a meeting with Felix. I will see you later." Seth said as he teleported to his home. "Sorry Felix, the council meeting ran late. How have you been?" Seth asked as he patted Felix on the shoulder.
"It's ok sir. Things are going great, other than we had to overthrow Andre." Felix said with a sigh. "Another person went mad with power?" Seth asked as he offered Felix a seat. "Ya it seems to be happening more and more now that you are gone." Felix said as he sat down. "I would love to take over again but I have so many thing to do with the council." Seth said as he sat down. "I know you do sir but couldn't you do something so that we don't have to go through this almost every month?" Felix asked putting his hands on the table. "I will see I have a lot of other covens to worry about also." Seth said with a sigh. "I know." Felix said sounding defeated. "I think we need to train you to be a coven leader." Seth said apologetic. "I know, I just don't know what to do anymore." Felix said upset. "Its ok Felix, I will pop over to the house tomorrow during the weekly meeting." Seth said as he got up. "Thank you sir." Felix said as he got up also. "Your welcome Felix and how many times do I have to tell you to call me Seth?" Seth said as he put his arm around Felix's neck. "About ten more times." Felix said with a chuckle. "Ok I will do that." Seth said with a chuckle. "I will see you tomorrow Felix, Jay can you teleport Felix back to his house please." "See you tomorrow si... Seth." Felix said as he went over to Jay. "Yes sir." Jay said looking at Felix. Jay teleported Felix home. "Hey hunbun how is school going?" Seth asked as he went to the kitchen. "Its boring daddy I already know this stuff." Annemarie said sounding a little upset. "I know you do but I need to get you out of my hair for a few hours." Seth said squeezing her brain saying that he was kidding. He got to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator and grabbed some blood out. "Daddy that hurt a little bit." She said as she rubbed her head. "I'm sorry hunbun." Seth said as he poured himself a glass of blood. "Now back to class. I will pick you up after school." Seth said as he closed the link and took a sip of blood. |
Serus wrinkled her nose at Seth, "Well I'm not known for my kindness." She gave a wave as he left, then twisted the ring on her left hand, sighing slightly. What a day..and I still have to deal with three more Covens. She winced as Kitra came in, straightening the ring so it was diamond up, "What?"
"Don't get that tone with me Serus. Look, the rest of the meetings you had today are canceled. We can handle them, but there's a more pressing issue down south that needs your attention." She didn't wait for Serus to ask what it was, "Two covens are going at it down in Dallas, and they're not being discrete about it. You're going to want either Seth or Jaelynn with you, perhaps both. I don't know exactly what's going on." Serus sighed, opening a link with Jaelynn and Seth, "Drop your plans for today guys. We have an issue in Dallas. I'll meet you at my Shoppe down there." With that, she disappeared from the room. |
"Ok I will be there shortly." Seth said as he finished his glass of blood. "Calin, come here please." Seth said putting the glass in the sink.
"Yes sir?" Calin answered walking into the kitchen. "I need you to pick up Annemarie for me I have council business to work on." Seth said fixing his shirt. "Yes sir." Calin said walking out of the room. I am sorry hunbun but I have council work so Calin will be there to pick you up." Seth said closing the link so she couldn't attest. Seth teleported to Dallas to meet Serus and Jaelynn. "So what is the problem?" Seth asked Serus. |
Serus pointed out the window at two vampires that were in mid-tackle, "That is the problem. I've cleared out the humans since I got here, but to handle these two I'll need you to take care of that. I've got some memories to alter while you're at it. Call me if you have any issues."
Jaelynn nodded, "Yes, Sir" She laughed as Serus disappeared, placing her hands on her hips as she watched the vampires duel, "Well...I call the one on the right..nope now the left..soo..have fun." She headed outside, jumping forward and tackling the blonde vampire to the ground, "Ah, why does it not surprise me to find you at the center of this Jack?" |
"Ok." Seth said as Serus disappeared. "You to." Seth said as he ran outside to hold back the black haired vampire. "Stop struggling, unless you wanna have broken arms." Seth said as the man stopped struggling. "That's better, now what is you name?" Seth asked tightening his grip.
"Adam." The vampire said with a grunt. "Ok Adam what is the problem here?" Seth asked not loosening up. "We want them dead, so we can control the city." Adam said kicking at the blonde vampire. "Hey now no need to almost kick my friend. This is the council's city so you can not go and expose us to the human's. Do you understand me?" Seth asked squeezing Adam a little more. |
Jaelynn hauled the man up, keeping his arms behind his back, threatening to break them, "You know the laws. Control will only be battled out in the Council Arena. What's this really about?" She tugged backwards on his arms, snapping the joints from the shoulder.
Jack yelled out and winced, "He ambushed me out of no where, I'm innocent. I was only protecting myself..." He winced again as Jaelynn yanked on his arms once more. "Honestly." |
Seth heard Jack say that Adam attacked first. "Is what he said true?" Seth asked ready to snap Adam's arm. Adam didn't answer. "Really? Do you think I like to hurt people? Ahh I guess I do." Seth said as he snapped Adam's arm. Adam screamed out in pain. "Answer me damn it or your other arm is next." Seth said as he squeezed Adam's other arm.
"Fine! I attacked him first." Adam yelled in considerable pain. "Why did you do that?" Seth asked hoping the he wouldn't have to break Adam's other arm. "Cause his coven is a piece of shit." Adam said as he spat at Jack. "Hey now there is no need for that kind of language." Seth said as he broke Adam's other arm. "Now how old are you Adam?" Seth asked nicely. "I'm... Oh god... 100." Adam said in between cries. "Oh you are a baby yet. Now I don't want you to do this out in public that's what the council arena is for. I also take it that you are not the coven leader." Seth said putting pressure on Adam's broken arms. "No I'm not." Adam said in pain. "Did you do this with your leader's ok?" Seth asked. "No." Adam said hanging his head. "That's good I didn't wanna fight a coven leader today." Seth said letting Adam go. "Now go home and get some fresh blood in you, and if I catch you doing this again I will kill you." Seth said looking at Jaelynn. |
While Seth was interrogating Adam, Jaelynn was giving Jack a run for his money on witty comebacks. She glanced over to see Seth was finished, "Next time, you just disappear and alert me or Seth. We will resolve the issue the proper way. Understand?" She threw Jack down as he nodded, then kicked him, "I mean it boy. Next time you won't get off so easily." She sighed as he disappeared, the humans suddenly looking to see the two in the street, "Well, I'm not manipulating them anymore, so we should get out of the street."
She hurried crossed back to the side of Serus's shoppe, crossing her hands over her chest, "I'm going to station a few spies here, just to make sure everything stays as it should. Tell Serus for me alright? I've got to get back to whipping some young-in's asses." She gave him a quick hug then disappeared. |
Seth went back into Serus' shoppe. "I will and have fun." Seth said as he hugged Jaelynn back. Seth walked up to the counter, "Hmm let's see can I get a glass of scotch." Seth asked.
"Coming right up sir." The man said as he poured a glass of scotch for Seth. Seth grabbed the glass and put a few dollars down. "Thanks." Seth said as he took a seat waiting for Serus to come back. |
