I've also noticed that kitsune has doubled in value since I originally asked for it. I'll leave it to Kag to decide what she ultimately wants to offer. I have a quest thread and all that, and runes are good too, since I just spent the last I had. If it's something I ultimately want, I'm happy, and I've enjoyed doing the word so far, as frustrating as drawing people can be sometimes. :)

Doing art for others can be hard, some people are very picky on whom they commission and others aren't. Than again, it's the same for artists as well.

Notice almost all of Kag's characters are in kimonos/yukatas, etc. XD One type of clothes that don't sit well with me.. I love them but I can't draw one to save my life..

I don't know what things are worth her as I'm not on here a LOT.
But, I'm interested in Feral/wolf/deer like items, Companions, and any othe the DI's or EI's listed. It's all up to what you place my art at being worth.

Yeah, I wouldn't have opted to do artwork that I didn't want to do, and I really would like to get better at drawing people.

You wouldn't believe how irritating it was to try and find a reference for the back of a kimono. Most pictures of the back were of very elaborately tied obis, so I ended up using the Valanthe art that was already there for a reference, what I remembered of the Kimono of my mother's that I used to wear on Halloween, what I glimpsed of some at a festival last week, and just guessing.

I agree with you there. I want to tweak my style around a bit and get more practice on my males but I don't feel like drawing my male. XD It's like, blah.. Here's a face scribble for the references, that's the best your getting..

I totally know.. I have referenced kimonos till the cows come home and still can't draw one of those S.O.B's.. I'm like.. is it laying right.. oh f this, I'll do something similar to the style but not a kimono.

How lucky you are to be able to have a real kimono to go by, closest thing I have is a Chinese robe, my Chinese dress is back overseas and no one will wear the robe for me to get any references.. through I think the back of the kimono is the easiest..

Than again, I find hairstyles to be the hardest to reference.. There's a style I would love to be able sketch, I have been glancing at Claymore manga for the last week and studying the ones with ringlets to see how they draw the curls. I pretty much got the other hairstyle I like down. XD Just I can't draw my other oc to give Kag references cause I can't do her curls.. Gah...

Heie, might I interest you in the bakeneko, spirit of the tribe, kitsune or enfield fragment. Each of them have a wolf/feral like animal.

Alas, my mother's kimono is very simple, just a red band for an obi, and I haven't seen the thing in some years. It was mostly the sleeves I had trouble with, as the styles seem to vary.

I've tried and failed repeatedly at drawing my characters. I've gone one character three different times and each time I end up using the drawing for someone else, or garbage it. I have the most trouble with faces. I do alright if I can look at someone directly, but have trouble when drawing from my head.

Oh, I had art stored on floppy disks, good chance they are on those but.. the disks are back in America and not many systems take floppys anymore.. I had managed to save two pieces I had from that time.. one I redid the coloring with paint but..

I believe you should be able to get external floppy drives. I've got stuff on floppies that I want to get but my laptop doesn't have a drive.

no you don't. there are external floppy drive readers. I'm rather fond of still using floppys actually. I love he rewrite ability over CD xD so external harddrives are now my love... but I lurvr floppy.

You still get computers with floppy drives, the issue is getting the floppies sent from America to Scotland. Not sure if they were left out where someone can go and pick them up easily or if they left buried under something.. I use to always use floppies for storage cause I went between three computers (mine/Aunt's and School's). Now most of my art is saved on USB drives.

The art up there was done by me.. I can't remember when.. the second was the one I redid all up in paint.. I may take the third and give it a touch up.. I did have one more piece that survived..

I didn't draw this one, I can't remember whom the artist was.. I just recolored it.. it was Chloe and my friend's OC.. back during the digimon rpg stages.. When I brought Chloe back as an OC, I made quite a few changes to her.. -chuckles- Don't think Kag knows the whole history behind her.. originally Chloe was a Princess, a beloved princess trying to stop her older evil brother.. (my friend whom played the bad guy suggested they should be related, which is these days, I leave it open that there may be an older sibling.)

But yea.. that is suppose to be Chloe and my friend's other OC from that time, Malcon.. they kind of had a small relationship but it ended during the RPG.. my friend in real life was like, Awww, they made a perfect couple. XD Sadly, what he said was true, they did.. but now.. I don't really know her relationship status.. (rpg wise) Just know people like to kidnap her sister and make her pissed off.. (and it's pretty funny when someone is posting, keep her sister in Japan, I want to freaking kidnap her. 0.o; like... someone wants to die, no touchy the sibling)

I don't have a drive on my labtop but the computers at the library do. If not, I'll find a way.. I have an older desktop back in America that does floppies if it still works..

Don't think I have a WIP of my current style, when I start on Kag's again, I'll post the wip.

I had to use floppies in university because the library computers wouldn't accept my jump drive, which was a newfangled thing at the time. I should get a drive and see what's really on the floppies I have. Half of them are probably corrupted, or whatever the equivalent is.

I only had one corrupted floppy.. but now I don't know.. since I haven't used any of those, whatever was stored on there may be lost..

Yes, it's been a while, but if you're still around Kag, it's highly unlikely that I'm ever going to get this piece finished in the anywhere-near future. If you like, I will get a better scan of the drawing and you can keep that to do with as you will. I don't need anything for it.

I don't know why but I suddenly feel so tempted to attempt drawing Advent (if I had the time). I've always loved the way he looked and of all your characters, Kaguya, it's probably my favourite appearance-wise.

Still my time is limited right now and my art not that good, so it probably won't happen. :(
