From all appearances, Wolfe didn't seem to find the movie funny. But about halfway through, at some corny joke, he snorted lightly.
Raven considered that a slight success.
About ten minutes later, Wolfe slowly tipped over... pink hair flying as his head fell right onto Raven's shoulder.
Raven jumped a little and blushed a bit from the surprise. A few minutes later, Raven put an arm lightly around Wolfe.
There was a light snore.
Raven sighed silently. But at least he was resting a bit. So he let Wolfe sleep, keeping track of the time so Wolfe wouldn't be late getting back to his other duties.
Wolfe face was pretty cute when he slept. It wasn't as handsome like when he had been flying but he definitely looked younger. It was clear that Wolfe trusted Raven as he continued to show him new sides of himself.
Raven yawned a little, but managed not to fall asleep. When Wolfe only had a few minutes left, he kissed the top of Wolfe's head lightly. "Wake up, Ryuji," he told him quietly.
Wolfe muttered something and shifted a little, slipping down onto Raven's lap.
Was he on a date with Wolfe or Laurel? Raven sighed a little wishing it wasn't so important that Wolfe stick to his schedule.
"C'mon," he told Wolfe and rubbed his shoulder lightly. |
Wolfe suddenly shot up, nearly ramming his head into Raven's nose. He blinked a few times and stared at the blank screen where the movie was. He didn't seem to believe that he'd actually fallen asleep.
Raven cussed as he jumped. In an effort to not get hit, he ended up falling off the the beanbag and landed on the floor with another cuss.
Wolfe blinked at him, still groggy. He suddenly yawned, looking a little like a cat with his hair all ruffled.
Raven was a little disheveled too from the surprise as he pushed himself up. But he looked more like a dog as he rubbed the back of his head and messing up his hair even more.
Wolfe sighed a little, "Sorry..." he stated quietly
"It's alright," Raven reassured Wolfe as ungracefully got back onto the beanbag chair. "Do you feel more rested?"
Wolfe blinked, "I... fell asleep?" he asked, still a little in disbelief.
Raven nodded as he munched on some of the snacks.
Wolfe seemed to turn a very light shade of pink to match his hair. He glanced away, "... Sorry," he repeated.
"I didn't mind," Raven replied with a slight tease in his voice.
Wolfe looked back at Raven, "But you planned this all so well," he replied, a little confused.
Raven shrugged, not sure why Wolfe was confused.
"I ruined your plans," he murmured grudgingly.
"No, you didn't," Raven explained with a half smile.
Wolfe tilted his head a little, "You planned that I would sleep?" he asked.
"No," Raven replied. "I planned to bring this stuff here, bring you here, and figure out the rest later."
Wolfe paused and then nodded. He was silent for a long moment before looking back at Raven, "We should... do this again."
"... Maybe not exactly this," Raven mused.
And Wolfe got a little pinker. "No," he agreed quietly.
Raven chuckled a little before leaning in a little closer.
-- Nic was quiet for a long time, trying to absorb Laurel's words. He still looked confused. Finally he asked, "How do I not do that?" |
Laruel stopped rubbing for a moment, looking at Nic. "... Talk to me more," she finally suggested, "Take into consideration that I'm not from your world. I... can't read your mind, Nic."
Nic still looked confused, but he didn't say anything more.
Laurel sighed and began rubbing Nic's feet, "But, I still love you," she murmured, "and I... appreciate that you're trying to understand how I feel."
Nic kept trying to think about what Laurel said, but she could tell he was starting to become frustrated. Not at her words, but at his lack of ability to concentrate as he feet started twitching again as Laurel rubbed them.
Laurel blinked, watching Nic's face for a moment and then glancing down at his twitching feet. "... No way..." she muttered, an amused and bewildered look crossing her face as her gaze found Nic's again.
Nic's nose twitched a little as he tried to weather through Laurel massaging his feet.
Laurel stopped rubbing Nic's feet for a moment. "...Dominic Duncan..." she whispered, still in disbelief, "You're ticklish!"
Nic relaxed a little more as Laurel stopped. "... I'm not ticklish," he argued.
Laurel paused and then suddenly tickled the sole of Nic's foot.
A shiver ran down Nic's spine and he jerked his foot away from Laurel.
