No, mine was with one that I had worked for previously. The admin had a bunch of members harass me via Tumblr. Carrot-face is a massive dick, but there are people who like that site so I won't discredit them for it nor will I tell people to leave it. There was an old avatar site, Aniteria/AniOnline (it's closed now) which had a horrible admin but I still loved hanging out with my friends, so I understand.

I work elsewhere now though and I'm pretty happy actually.

I did what all the users were instructed to do, but apparently I wasn't polite enough for their liking and they gave me an unofficial warning, which they then turned into an official warning when I voiced my concerns to the admin. Which if I get two more of those I'm banned. Not to mention I have two unofficial warnings they can't even tell me what they were for because it was from two ownerships ago even though its the same owner and they also deleted the threads that those transgressions took place. And the previous owner said that they were going to wipe our warnings clean, and this person said they are bringing them all back and didn't tell us they did. Not to mention they were saying I didn't say please when please was in the title of the pm I sent them. >_> Thing is I'm a mod for a Minecraft server, that bull would not be acceptable on our server for a mod nor an admin to do. Not to mention they accused me of thinking I'm better than everyone else just because I donated to the site and I mentioned I wouldn't want to donate anymore and possibly leave if it seemed like the staff were coming off as overly hostile towards me. And yes, saying it almost exactly like that turned my 'unofficial' warning into an official one. And they applied these rules to me nearly an hour before they were actually added to the rules for the site! So I'm getting rid of my stuff over there because I'm not going to put up with that bull.

If you want me to send you the images Chleo I can, but I'm fed up of the antics of the owner over there, considering what she's accusing me of doing she did on another site and got banned, which is the only reason she wanted to start that site back up again. >_> (and she was far worse because she would verbally try to tear anyone apart that tried to calm her down or any mods that were politely asking her to stop, so she's made herself a bad rep, even more so when I was talking in general to people and she started accusing me of attacking her specifically when I never quoted anyone, never mentioned names and just said that 'overall on the site' and she's tried to rip my throat out over it >_>; )

I would like to see which site so I know not to join it.. but yea, that is kind of extreme.. than again, I know I wouldn't put up with that either.

I'm a newbie guide in a game myself and I have heard of NGs/GS get fired for treating players similar to that. Than again, with the current GS we have, sometimes I feel like I am doing his job as well but I kind of get along with a good majority of the players so that helps as well.

Yeah, you understand why I don't want to be over there now. And apparently two of my friends who did get the pets before they decided to do their own site decided they wanted nothing to do with them anymore because how they were treated by that owner. When that owner got bored of the site and decided to sell it those friends were hoping that the other person would have noting to do with the site anymore but were annoyed because they were made 'head artist' of the site and never actually made anything. I had also heard that they and the person who had been the previous owner got into an argument over something and that's what caused the eight month long hiatus for ANY activity on the site. How much of it is true I don't know, but to be completely honest its not unexpected.

Oh yea, it's all about customer service and stuff like that. You want to be treated a certain way and if that's not happening than yea, perfectly understandable not to want to be on the site.

Yeah, and since this is like the eleventh site I've been on, only one of which I'm leaving and voulenteerily, while all the other sites I've ever left were because I was bored. :/ And by the way I've maybe gotten a warning once on a site outside of that one, and it was only a temp warning since I was still new. .-.

usually I leave due to being bored, very rarely it's staff related, etc. Most sites, the staff are pretty helpful and try not to give warnings unless you really broke a rule.

I know, which is why I had been shocked when I had received that warning. I've been on so many other sites and have never gotten in trouble for a message like that. Even when I accidentally spammed in a thread on another site the mod had seen I had nothing on my record and asked if it was an accident (which is was and I derped and closed the tab, thus not being able to find it to fix it) and they just let me know to be more careful. I'm not one for breaking rules, or at least not intentionally. :/

Yep, and when I mention it people want to know what happened so they can avoid the place like you. ^^; Worst part is right before that happened I was trying to get a friend to join the site because they are going to release dragons soon and my friend said she might join if they did release dragons. Though that was before she found out from me that the admin had basically ridiculed her for not wanting to join the site because she's scared of horses and basically mocked her for it. I should have said the screen shot of that one because I had sent it to the friend for her to see. They apparently didn't want people to talk about anything that went on in the chat room outside of the chat even though anyone could go into the chat, which is kind of dumb to make that a rule to be honest. I mean its all public knowledge if they say something is being worked on in the chat, so me telling someone about it in the forums shouldn't be something one gets in trouble for. Then again they were also talking trash about a bunch of people on another site anyways, which is probably way they didn't want anyone talking about the stuff outside of the chat.

It all sounds scetchy to me. Then again some people live off drama.

I haven't experienced anything bad, but I've been there a week? A little more? Rarely do I see anything really bad until half a year in usually. There's only one exception so far....and if you've seen me talk about websites, there's only one I say bad things about really other than the basic things any user could see XD

Well, I'm not sure if its because the owner had a bone to pick with me or something because on the site where they got banned I got tired of a bunch of people griping about this or that not being done every single day and not giving any of the staff a break from it. So I made a general statement about it, not saying any names nor quoting anything, just saying I see several people getting nasty over all this and its just tearing apart the community and that I'd like for people to chill. Then that person went off on me trying to say I was specifically talking about them and that they didn't like it and that they have a right to voice their concerns and such (though they went as far as bashing the staff on that site in the process) because they are a donator. Which is why I find it hilarious that they are accusing me of doing the excite same thing for what they got banned for on another site. So they liked to pick fights with some of the people on that site before they got banned, so that could also be the reason why they got nasty with me.
