Dark saw as Alexander carefully placed his hand over the water. "You can touch it, even if the oils in you skin stay in the water it will all flow away." Dark demenstracted by placing his own hand in the water. When he removed it the hand left oil sitting on top of the water but as they watched it floated away.

he watched the other place his hands in the water, they looked beautiful and pale shimmering in the wet. he looked at the other "you cannot sully the beauty though, for you are more beautiful that this whole room, when you touch it then it is improved." he watched the ripples spread as the other removed his hands again.

Dark blushed at the compliment of Alexander's. "Who says you aren't too?" Dark asked. "I say you could not spoil this place." Dark placed both his arms around Alexander and noticed that Alexander was taller.

he leaned in sightly and noted dark had closed his eyes. 'tell me again' he stood pulling the other with him.

Dark opened his mouth and started to say, "You could not-" Dark suddenly lost his footing though, and his sudden weight shift sent both Dark and Alexander into the lake.

as the other began to talk he could feel the sand shift under them, he was dragged in after the other with a splash. the water was cool but not terribly could and was shallow too, his head stayed above water and his feet were mostly dry. dark looked disappointed, as if he were unhappy about something but could not think where to place the blame but on himself. alexander opened his mouth to apologize but realized that it really was not his fault, it was an accident. he pulled himself up a bit and leaned over the other "to the middle then, your clean purity will counter my dirty mundanity" heand walked the rest of the way, his hair dragging behind him as he wobbled in the sand. he turned right before the light and was back-lit "come" he said his voice low. it echoed lightly across the cavern repeating his command tenfold

Dark was sure he had just about died by now. Alexander looked like an angel standing as he was. "I'm coming," Dark said not willing to disobey the angel called Alexander. "And if I'm pure then you definatly aren't mundane, Alexander."

his lord drw close, his hair had come undone and the dark of it sucked up and reflected the light, his skin fairly glowed. alexander was all but floored by his beauty and spoke as if from far away. 'one half of me is yours, the other half yours-mine, I would say, but if mine then yours, and so all is yours'

"And if all of you is mine then all of me is yours." Dark agreed with a smile.

he reached a hand out and brushed against the face of the man in front of him, his second came up and he gently led the other to him, backing up so that they both stood under the light he smiled softly. "be still and know i am god" he lifted the face in his hands "....you are god, and i am still"

Dark smiled back unsure how to repond to this declaration. He gave it his best shot though, "Just remember when your heart stills, mine stops beating."

'you lie' he whispered 'you would have died long ago' he leaned in and kissed his lord

When Alexander drew away for need of oxegen Dark had a smile on his face. "I don't lie," Dark said sincerly and placed his hand on ALexander's chest. "I can feel you heart beating now and so my heart beats too." Dark lifted Alexander's hand to Dark's chest. "Can you feel them?"

he could, it beat rapidly like a bird trying to escape a trap. "then we are both liars." he sighed "dark?" the other looked at him wide-eyed 'yes?' "show me how i am to love you. i want so badly it hurts but i do not know how" he leaned down to nuzzle the other. "teach me please"

Dark was slightly wide eyed at Alexander's request but leaned in to kiss him anyways. Dark knew he was missing something but was not sure what exactly.

he did not get an answer but he let it go for now, he had no answer but that was not worth being upset over, dark had too few answers. he wondered breifly if there was someone missing, there needed to be someone with answers. he did not mull on it any farther though as dark reached up and bit his earlobe, teasing him. he was pleased enough then to let the other have the rest of his fleeting attentions

Dark continued to lavish attention on Axexander's ear before moving down to his neck. Maybe this is what Alexander had meant? Dark did not know and assumed Alexander's silence ot be a good thing for now.

he did not understand he was happy so happy but there was something wrong with him, like he had a puzzle piece to an all black puzzle, he could not see what it was or where it went but the shape of it was familiar and so he looked for a place to put it. he felt his legs grow weak as the breath of the other ghosted along the side of his neck. he panted lightly as the other pulled him closer, hands in his hair tugging slightly. he obligingly leaned forward to give the other better access and was rewarded with a soft mouth. he reflexively pulled the other closer and moaned his pleasure. the other responded by pushing their hips together and grinding slightly. he whined. there it was again, that nagging feeling of something wrong. the other mistook his response and repeated the action. he could feel something different. he could not bear i any longer and pushed the other down into the pool. he followed after landing on his knees, the water came hip high to him now, nearly to the other's shoulders. he put his a hand on the other boy's side and put the other over his stomach he looked him in the eye, worry and confusion on his face. he leaned towards the other 'what am i missing? what is wrong?" the other looked pained. but he was blushing too. he whispered 'do you know it? you must' 'alexander....' the other all but moaned 'your.. hand.. stop' he jerked away lifting his hand from his lord's stomach he looked away ashamed. he had his answer

When Alexander made the remark about needing a woman Dark felt ashamed. He had not meant to get carried away. Dark was a monster, just like his dream. "Sorry," Dark said for the first time in his life ashamed of his own biology. "This wasn't supposed to happen." Dark said to himself wishing he could fulfil Alexander's wish but not knowing how. It was his fault he had let himself go to far and because of this gave himself an erection that caused Alexander to be unhappy with being unable to fulfill Dark's wants. 'Stupid body and limbo' he thought angry wanting to reassure Alexander but not knowing how.

he looked up sadly from the other tears still streaming from his eyes "why? you have done nothing wrong. it is natural, the book said so" he gave a halfhearted watery smile before a pinched look took it's place. 'dark?' he asked softy wading his hands through the water and stretching until he was nose to nose with the other, he ignored his failure even as he leaned against it "dark..." his face softened "i love you. i will fix myself for you" he thought to kiss the other then but turned instead. he knew now he should not, dark was his one and only but he could not be dark's, not like this

"Don't try to 'fix' yourself," Dark said feverently, "Not for my sake, I'm not worth it." Dark wrapped his arms around Alexander, "A monster should not spoil and angel's beauty." THis was bad Alexander should not want to change, bot for Dark's sake. "Love you how you are, don't want you to change," Dark was babling incoherently now trying to convince Alexander not to change.

he was confused and an ache had begun to develop in his throat making it hard to breathe, he couldn't do this, to follow his lord's command would to be going against his very nature. he was made specifically to love his lord he served no other purpose, he could no more turn his love on himself as he could turn it onto the rocks around them. he had no understanding of the situation at hand, he could not fathom being able to follow the commands issued, inside himself he could feel something shift in him as if his insides were separating and the first part had come dislodged. he leaned into one of the cold arms around his neck and closed his eyes "my very existence is for your pleasure alone. why are you asking me to turn from you, without you i am nothing, if i do not change i will lose you." his tears grew more abundant and slipped through his closed eyes sliding down the other's arm "i..wish, i was changed into what my lord wanted most. i wish he could love me. i wish i could make him happy. i wi-" his eyes opened and a pained look overtook his face a small tink could be heard from the crystal around his neck. both eyes turned towards the sound. a small crack now split the previously unblemished surface.

"Alexander," Dark said softly, "Stop wishing for something that has already happened, you're breaking you crystal." Dark actually what the crystal did he just assumed it was important. "I can love you in this form and I do love you the way you are right now." That was true he did not need a /female/ to be happy, he just needed Alexander.

his tears stopped. "but i cannot fix you, the book said so" his hands clenched involuntarily in the sand shifting them both a little lower.

"I don't think anything is broken about me." Dark said slightly confused about the wording of his question before reaching a conclusion that may or may not be wrong. "I have always preferred the male gender over the female one, I believe it is called homosexual?"

he rolled the word in his mouth before trying it out 'homosexual' he tried to understand what the other was saying and how this new word made it work. 'dark is a homosexual so it will fix itself and he does not use a female..' he trailed off he think he understood what he was being told but he could not get his mind around how it could work. tentivly he tried to form the question "..and he an use me?"

Dark frowned at the way that was worded but could not find a better way to word it. "Yes, but I've never done it before." Dark suddenly looked very skitish and afraid. "With anyone."

"then how do you know?" dark had no magic and no book, he did not understand how the other could know without one or both

"I know because it is something you get taught at school," And they preach how when you die you won't get rest because you'll be eternally damned but Alexander does not need to know that. "They devote a whole class perios to it in fifth and sixth grade."

'oh' he said momentarily at a loss for words "your master must have been a worldly man." for the first time he realized their positions. 'oh' he said again and pushed back into a sitting position. dark still had his arms around alexander's neck and so was pulled up as well. alexander put his arms around the dripping other "you are cold"

Dark smiled at Alexander's obvious declaration, "Slightly, but once I dry out I'll be fine." And the quickest way to dry off was get out of the water and Dark did not currently want to move.

" that is true, though i don't want to move either" he said not realizing the last part of the comment was not spoken aloud

"So we are in agreement?" Dark asked leaning against Alexander. He had relized he had not spoken aloud but figured he must have projected it or something that made it easier for Alexander to pick up one.

"we are" he tightened his grasp around the other mindful though now of how he touched. he had not before understood the consequences of his actions. he looked around after he had settled against the other "how did you find this place?"

"When I was younger, I did some exploring and found this place." He had been maybe seven when he first found this place. "You are the only other person who knows about this place," Dark said, "I used it often when I was a teen

he felt warmed by this. he was trusted with the other's secret place. "i am honored my lord" he whispered eyes closed

Dark gave a smile and then noticed the sky, "It is getting late right now, would you like to head back to our food? We can return at a later date if you would like."

he nodded. he would like to return but he understood too that they could not stay here forever tempting though the thought was, he pulled them both into a standing position then lifted the soaking dark bridal style and carried him from the lake. the sand shifted precariously under them but he paid it no mind and carried him all the way across the sand and onto the stone floor. he wanted to hold the other like that forever, to kiss his pale brow and never leave. he did not pander to this desire though, not even the kiss. he still felt uncomfortable with the idea of hurting dark again. he set the boy down on the smooth stone and bowed lightly. he offered a silent smile.

Dark had to fight rolling his eyes, Alexander was treating him like a pampered child. Dark stood up and fought back a shiver against the cold wind in his wet clothes. "Back up we go and hopefully it won't be as hard to navigate the tunels back up."

he watched the other shiver lightly then slide into the black crack. he felt nervous again but swallowed it. the other would be there to keep him grounded. he went in.
