Jaelynn punched the wall, putting a hole in it, "I most certainly do not agree with her. Annemarie is a very sweet little girl. With the few hours I've spent with her, I've grown to like her." She growled, looking at the hole, "I'll pay for that."
She paced around the room, her aura seething so intensely, that even if Seth wasn't looking, he could still feel it. "How could she even think like that? She was dead. We all did what she would've wanted. She definitely would not have wanted you to sulk for the rest of your years." She growled again, her eyes glowing brightly with fury. |
"Thank you for saying that." Seth said still not moving. Seth sat up when he heard Jaelynn punch the wall. "Nah don't worry about it Jae." Seth said as he waved his hand. Seth noticed that that was the first time he called her Jae. "Jae please settle down, I'm mad to I mean look at my sink." Seth said leaning over to look in his bathroom. He saw the shattered sink on the floor. "Even when I was with Elizabeth I still cried sometimes because I felt that I was betraying Serus." Seth said as he swung his legs to the floor. "If Serus acts like this anymore I will move my coven to somewhere where the woman that I love can't hurt me or my daughter." Seth said looking at Jaelynn.

Jaelynn sighed deeply, trying to calm down. She leaned up against the wall rubbing her temples. "If she continues to act like this Ill have no choice but to...reveal her. I will also be present during that..occassion to make sure she doesn't project herself again. I love Serus as much as any daughter would but I'm severly disappointed in her right now."
She crossed her arms with a growl wondering if Serus would ever come around. |
"I'm disappointed in her to Jaelynn." Seth said with a sigh. "Well I don't know about you but I don't wanna sit around here sulking, do you wanna come with me and Annemarie for dinner? I'm buying." Seth asked as he stood up. "Are you hungry hunbun?"
"Yes I am daddy." Annemarie said as she stood up. "Hey Felix do you wanna go out to eat with me and Annemarie? I'm buying." "Sure sir." Felix said a little surprised. "Well we can make it an almost family affair." Seth said with a smile. He looked at Jaelynn. "You gonna come?" Seth asked as he grabbed his jacket. |
Jaelynn sighed, shaking her head, "No thanks. I'm just going to seethe for awhile. Go have fun." She smiled slighty pondering what she was going to do with Serus. She didn't really wabt to kill her but she was being so unreasonable.

"Ok." Seth said with a smile. "If you wanna join us just let me know and I'll come and get you, also you can stay here as long as you want." Seth said as he teleported to the study. "Where do you wanna go hunbun?" Seth asked as he picked Annemarie up.
"Ummm Scalini Fedeli." She said with ease. "That's in New York." Seth said a little confused. "I know it is daddy, and you know that its my favorite restaurant." She said with a smile. "Ahh I can't say no to that face." Seth said as he pinched her cheeks. "Daddy." She said with a giggle. "Well grab on Felix." Seth said as he gathered his power. "Yes sir." Felix said as he put his hand on Seth's shoulder. "Oh Felix you can call me Seth. Also you might wanna close your eyes." Seth said getting ready to teleport. "Ok sir, why is thaaaaaaatttttt!" Felix yelled as Seth teleported. {{Yes that's an actual restaurant xD}} |
Jaelynn nodded, waving as she disappeared. She would be here for a few hours, then she'd go back and check in on Serus.
Serus sighed, running her hands through her hair. I really should cut it she thought idly. She went into her bathroom, frowning slightly. She would never get used to looking like this. She pulled her brush from the drawer and began to brush her hair. This always took her so long to do, as there was so much of it. |
Seth teleported back to his house. "Oi I know we don't get anything from human food but I am stuffed." Seth said as he put Annemarie down.
"I know sir, but it was delicious." Felix said as he grabbed his stomach. "Indeed it was." Seth said looking at Annemarie. "Did you enjoy it hunbun?" Seth said as he looked at Annemarie. "Yes I did daddy." She said with a yawn. "You tired hunbun?" Seth asked as he kneeled down. "A little bit." She said with another yawn. "Well let's get you in bed." Seth said as he picked her up once again. "But daddy." She said with a whine. "Don't but daddy me." Seth said as he teleported to his room. "Oh hey Jaelynn your still here?" Seth asked as he noticed Jaelynn. Seth put Annemarie on the bed. "Sleep tight hunbun." Seth said as he kissed Annemarie on the forehead. |
Jaelynn stood, "Yea..I was just about to leave. I figured I better check on Serus, to make sure she hasn't done anything stupid yet." She gave him a hug, "I'll try to talk some sense in her." She let him go then teleported back to the Antinori manor.
Serus decided to take a long hot shower, and while she was rebrushing her hair she sensed Jaelynn appear. She frowned as she sat on the stool, pausing as she waited to see what Jaelynn would do. After a moment of no movement, she continued. Jaelynn peered into the bathroom, knocking on the door jam, "Serus..we really need to talk." She stepped inside, leaning on the sink. Serus looked away, using her hair to block her face from Jaelynn's eyes, "I don't want to talk right now." "Then just listen? You really hurt him earlier today. He's really depressed about what you said." She sighed, grabbing another brush and helping her, "I don't want to lecture you, you can figure things out on your own, but, I feel like there might be something on your mind. Is something wrong?" |
Seth hugged Jaelynn back. Then she disappeared. "Hunbun I'm going to be downstairs in the study if you need anything." Seth said as he got ready to teleport.
"Ok daddy." Annemarie said barely. Seth teleported to the study. He walked up to a bookcase and grabbed 'Bloodshot'. Seth loved to read about human interpretation of vampires. |
Serus sighed, pausing half way through a brush stroke, "I..I don't know how to explain it. I feel like..I dont belong anymore. I'm not..me." She finished the stroke with another sigh, "I don't think I can ever adjust to this. It's so different from what I'm used to. Not to mention, there's something nagging me at the back of my mind."
Jaelynn frowned, resting her chin gently on the top of Serus's head, "Mistress, everything will work out fine. You're just like you were nine years ago, expect perhaps even better. Sure your personality still has a few flaws, but your body is better. You don't have to worry about that spell, you can see, and you're alive. What more could you want?" She smiled slightly, "I'm not talking about those things Jaelynn. I mean Seth. He seems..different. I mean, I know it's been 8 years, and he's continued his life, but there's something that's still nagging me. I don't know what it is though." |
Seth put the book down with a deep sigh.
"What's the matter sir." Felix asked concerned. "Oh its just women troubles, you know?" Seth said with another heavy sigh. "Is this about Annemarie?" Felix asked nicely. "Well kind of." Seth said pinching his eyes. "Well sir I don't think you should worry about anything. Annemarie is a very sweet girl and any woman would be lucky to be her stepmother." Felix said with a smile. "I know, its just that I don't know if me 'dating' is a good thing for her." Seth said leaning his head back. "Sir anything that you do for your daughter is good enough. I see you two and the way you love her is what any child could ask for." Felix said as he stood up. "You know what Felix your right." Seth said as he stood up. "Your a good man Felix." Seth said as he patted Felix on the shoulder and the teleported to Serus' room. Seth appeared in Serus' room. "Serus I know your here. I just want to say something, please just listen to me. I love you ok, but I also love my daughter and her mother. I just want you to meet Annemarie once, if you don't like her then I will leave you alone for the rest of your life. Serus I want the two well three counting Jaelynn, most important women in my life, but if you don't want that then I will leave." Seth said taking a big sigh, and waiting for her response. |
She lifted her chin, gently slapping Serus on the back of her head, "You think to much. Just relax. Seth is Seth and you are you. Same as always." She tugged on Serus's hair, "Did you want me to grab you a different dress? This one really needs to be washed." She lifted the dress off the floor, then heard Seth, "In here!" She winked at Serus, "Bye!" And she disappeared to go take care of the dress.
Serus frowned, "Thanks..." Her sarcasm was thick, but she was a bit sincere. She winced sensing Seth, "Do--..too late. I told you Seth I don-Ow!" She grabbed her head as she felt a pinch. She remained silent, making sure the towel was secured, but remained where she was. She really didn't want to talk, but Jaelynn was going to make her. |
Seth walked up to the bathroom and leaned on the door frame. "Serus I'm serious about what I said." Seth said looking in the mirror. "I understand that your mad, I also understand that you understand. But what I don't understand is how you were so cold about it." Seth said still looking in the mirror to see if he could see her eyes. "Serus? Never mind Serus if you don't wanna talk then I guess I will go." Seth said as he walked away from the bathroom. "I really don't wanna end it like this." Seth thought to himself waiting for Serus to hopefully say something.

"Serus Marie you fix this right now. You're being unreasonable."
Serus sighed, throwing the brush at the mirror, "Dammit Jaelynn leave me alone!" She turned to face Seth as he left, but didn't say anything. She didn't really know what to say actually. She really didn't want to know Annemarie...but she didn't want to loose Seth either. "Wait..." |
"Yes Serus?" Seth said as he turned around. Seth crossed his arms. "Serus I'm waiting." Seth said trying to get her to say something. "Serus say something or I'm gone." Seth said in a threatening manor.

She frowned, "You could shut up so I can say something to start with Seth." She sighed, sensing he was about to leave. "Wait wait, I'm sorry." She stood, walking over to him craning her neck so she could see his face, "Jaelynn is right..I had no right to act this way." She frowned slightly, looking down, unsure of what else to say.
"You know, you could ask to meet her. Serus, I know you don't mean any of that nonsense. I don't understand why you're being like this." Suddenly her expression became irritated, "I said leave me alone Jaelynn. I don't need you to help me with this" |
Seth could sense Jaelynn was talking to Serus. "Jae please let her speak, I know you are trying to help and I thank you for that." Seth said to Jaelynn. "Serus just say what you feel please. I don't wanna end it this way." Seth said looking into Serus' eye's.

Serus was silent for awhile, "The problem is I don't know what I want to say." "You want to meet Annemarie~" "Jaelynn! Dammit!" Suddenly the window bench collapsed in on itself, and she sensed Jaelynn retreat. She took a breath to compose herself, pinching the bridge of her nose with her free hand, with the other on her hip.
After a moment, she looked up at Seth, "Alright fine, here it is. I'm so angry with you, yet I'm extremely happy for you. I can't decide which I'm more. Either way, I can't do anything about it now." She took another breath, "Part of me wishes that you had never spotted me and just left me to live my life as human so that I wouldn't have to know about this." She paused a moment, "Part of me is extremely relieved that I've recovered my memories. I'm just..so confused right now." |
Seth jumped a little bit when the window bench collapsed. "Serus I'm confused with a whole bunch of things except for the way I feel about you." Seth said as he stepped close to Serus. "Serus I will always love you and I know you love me. That's all I need Serus." Seth said as he grabbed her free hand and placed it where his heart was. "If my heart was beating it would beat only for you Serus." Seth said still looking into her eye's.

Serus was silent for awhile, "I do Seth, more than anything." She sighed, pulling her hand away gently. "And I'm sure Annemarie is a wonderful child, and I know that I would love her as well, but..." Her eyes glanced off to the side for a moment, debating on whether or not she was going to say it.

"Serus what is it?" Seth asked looking at her. Seth tried to read her mind but he couldn't. "Serus please tell me what it is." Seth said worried.

She laughed slightly, suddenly becoming nervous. "Well I feel a bit left out on the second generation aspect of things," She chuckled a bit again, her eyes looking off to the side, feeling awkward now.

"Serus do you want to have a child with me?" Seth asked as he stepped forward. Seth was a little nervous, with asking that question.

She tensed a bit, but nodded, "Y-yeah. To..tell you the truth..I'm quite jealous of her... She got to have your first child." She bit her lip until it bled, then felt it quickly heal. "I just..don't know what to think about that...but...I'm still happy for you."

"Serus you had your first child with another man, we both have baggage and it doesn't matter who we had children with what matter's is that we love one another and all of our children." Seth said as he grabbed her chin to look into her eye's. "All I see Serus is that we will actually be happy." Seth said as he gently placed a kiss on Serus' lips.

"Jaelynn is more of a sister figure to me than a daughter, but you are correct nonetheless."Serus kissed him back for a few moments, then rested her head on his chest, hugging him tightly. She was about to speak when she was interrupted by Jaelynn yet again.
Jaelynn appeared in the room, holding up the dress, "There! It's clean now! Ah..ooh..OOOHH! Right..Well..I'll just leave this here," she set it on the bed, then pointed to the door with both hands, "and I'll just..be on my way.." She skittered out of the room and shut the door behind her. |
Seth jumped a little bit when he felt Jaelynn in the room. "Well that was awkward." Seth said holding back a laugh. "I don't know if that means we should continue or not." Seth said as he looked at Serus.
"Daddy?" Annemarie said worried. "Damn it!" "What is it Annemarie?" Seth asked a little pissed off. "Are you ok? You feel upset." Annemarie said twiddling her fingers. "I'm fine hunbun." Seth said looking at Serus. "Looks like we get interrupted twice." Seth said with a sigh. |
Serus laughed slightly, "It's appears so. I'll take care of that." She put up a strong telekinetic block around their room so no one could physically enter, nor contact telepathically unless it was extremely urgent. She gave him a sly smile, giving him a quick kiss, "Jaelynn's an adult, she can handle the fact."

Seth grabbed Serus' and pulled her towards the little couch that is in front of Serus' broken bed. "You sure you want to do this Serus?" Seth asked as he sat her down on the couch. He didn't wait for a response, Seth started to kiss her ferociously.
*** "Umm sir there's somebody in the front yard yelling for you." Felix said as he peered out the window. "Seth Augustin! Seth Augustin I know your in there." Damien yelled. "Damn." Seth said looking at Serus. "What is is Felix?" Seth asked not wanting to ruin this perfect moment. "There is a vampire on our front lawn yelling for you." Felix said wondering what was going on. "I'm sorry old man but tell him that I'm away on business." Seth said looking at Serus again. "I'm sorry sir but I am doing no such thing." Felix said shaking. "Felix." Seth said with a sigh. "Apparently there is a man yelling on my front lawn for me." Seth said as he got off of the floor looking for his pants. "Ahh found 'em." Seth said picking up his pant's. "I'm sorry to have to leave like this." Seth said tripping as he was putting his pant's on. "I will be back soon." Seth said as he leaned down to give Serus a kiss. After the kiss he grabbed his shirt and teleported next to Felix. "So what's going on Felix." Seth asked as he buttoned his shirt. "Well three things sir, one: this man is yelling for you, two: you don't have any shoes on, and three (Felix leaned in) your fly is open." Felix said kind of embarrassed. "Well damn you are right. I'll be right back." Seth said as he zipped his fly and teleported to get his shoes. "Now where are my shoes?" Seth looked around and saw Serus sitting on the couch holding his shoes. "Thank you Serus." Seth said as he grabbed his shoes, gave Serus a quick kiss and teleported back to his house. "Ok I have my shoes, my fly is zipped up now I just need to take care of the crazy man on my lawn." Seth said as he put his shoes on. |
She quickly got up off the floor, going over to her dresser to grab some undergarments before putting on her dress. Serus tilted her head, seeing Seth forgot his shoes. He'll be back for them Sure enough, she could feel him getting ready to teleport as Felix mentioned his shoes. She picked them up off the floor and sat on the couch waiting for him. Before she knew it, he had grabbed them, kissed her, then left once more.
She sat there, puzzled as to what had gotten him into such a tizzy. Using Seth as a base for her link, she searched his property for any foreign minds. She found two, a little girl, and a man. She assumed the girl was Annemarie. She quickly retreated back to Seth's mind, watching what was going on through his eyes and Felix's. Hmm..I wonder who that is out there. Jaelynn sighed, flipping the page of her book, Well he left in a hurry..ah no..yup he's gone. She shook her head a bit, but left Serus alone for now. She would come find Jaelynn if she needed to. She leaned back in the chair, her eyes flying over the pages. |
Seth walked out the front door.
"Well finally the famous Seth makes an appearance." Damien said pointing at Seth. "And you are?" Seth asked confused. "Ahh so the man that killed Dragos, Layla, and Christian doesn't know who I am." Damien said whipping his hands up in the air. "Well actually I had help in killing both Layla and Christian." Seth said still walking up to the man. "Well not according to the history books kiddo." Damien said putting his index and middle fingers on his temples. "Don't call me kiddo. And who the hell are you?" Seth said stopping about five feet away from the man. "Ah how rude of me I am Damien Catalin, and I am here to kill you and take over your coven." Damien said with a laugh. "Really Damien you think you can just waltz in here and say your gonna kill me?" Seth said slightly angry. "Well I don't know how to waltz but I do know the tango." Damien said as he put his hands up above his head. "Alright you've stated your reason why your here now get the fuck off of my property." Seth said as he shooed Damien away with his hand. "Aww that's no way to treat a guest." Damien said as he sent a telekinetic blast at Seth sending him through the window. Damien teleported away from Seth. Seth was ready to walk away when he got sent through his window and landing on Felix. "Son of a bitch." Seth said as he got up to see that Damien was gone. "Shit Felix are you alright?" Seth asked extending his hand to help him up. "Well I guess I'm fine even though that bastard broke the damn window!" Felix yelled as he grabbed Seth's hand and stood up. "Woah Felix I've never heard you talk like that before." Seth said with a chuckle. "Daddy what was that noise?" Annemarie asked. |
After some time of monitoring Seth she became worried. She was much stronger than the last time she interfered with Seth's battle, but she didn't want him to feel like she didn't believe in his abilities. So she decided to ask, "Are you alright Seth?"

"It was nothing hunbun." Seth said as he heard Serus. "I'm fine other than being thrown through my window." Seth said with a huff. Seth sighed deeply. "Well that was interesting." Seth said looking at Felix. "Have you ever heard of a Damien Catalin, Felix?" Seth asked brushing glass off of himself.
"No I haven't sir." Felix said still mad about the broken window. "Felix it's just a broken window its all right." Seth said trying to calm Felix down. "NO SIR! It's NOT alright, we can never have nice things cause fucking people are ALWAYS breaking it." Felix said angrily. "FELIX settle down it will be fixed." Seth said placing a hand on his shoulder. "Daddy I'm hungry." Annemarie said sitting up in bed. "Well hunbun go take a shower and we can go eat." Seth said with a smile. "Felix to get your mind off of this do you wanna come out to eat with me and Annemarie?" Seth asked looking at the floor. "No sir I need to get a window person over here." Felix said still pissed. "Ok Felix." Seth said with a nod "Hey Jaelynn do you know a Damien Catalin?" Seth asked still standing by the broken window. "Hey Serus do you wanna have breakfast with me and Annemarie?" Seth asked as he looked in the mirror for any cuts. |
"In fact, I have. He's a very powerful vampire..he could easily match Serus or myself. I don't know much about him, other than he's very strong and it's extremely difficult to hit him. Be careful Seth. Just call if you need me or Serus." She went back to reading, not too concerned.
Serus frowned, thankful he couldn't see her face right now. She didn't know if she wanted to meet Annemarie yet..er..again. Again? Wait, that's right..I met her at the carnival. She is rather cute... She sighed, then answered Seth, "I..suppose." She quickly brushed her hair, as it was..messy to say the least. After about 20 minutes she appeared next to Seth, a slight frown still apparent. |
Annemarie took a shower and put on her dress. She ran downstairs. "DADDY!" She yelled as she jumped into Seth arms. "What is the carnival lady doing here?" She asked as she looked at Serus.
"Well hunbun this actually is Serus, do you remember when I told you about Serus?" Seth asked a little nervous. "Ummmmm wait the lady you loved before mommy? I thought she passed away?" She asked putting her index finger on her chin. "Yes this is her. Well that's a long story, one for another day ok hunbun?" Seth asked looking at Serus. "Okie daddy. Are you gonna be my new mommy?" She asked "Annemarie what have I told you about being so blunt about things? Seth asked with a nervous chuckle. "That its only good with certain things." She said looking up. "That's right now how about we go and get some food in your belly?" Seth asked tickling her stomach. "Hahaha daddy stop hahaha." She said laughing. "You ready to go Serus?" Seth asked as he stopped tickling Annemarie and looked at Serus. "Well this is going to be amusing." Damien said as he sat in his chair. "Master Damien do you need anything sir?" A man said. "No I don't now leave." Damien said as he waved the man away. "Yes sir." The man said as he cowered away. "Now what should my next move be?" Damien asked himself. |
Serus frowned, not really answering Annemarie, "You'll have to explain that to me another time Seth." She quickly put on a smile for Seth, "Were are we going to go for breakfast?"

"Um ok." Seth said with a nervous smile. "Well I was thinking of going to Conley's Place Restaurant." Seth said as he put out his hand for Serus. "Let's go." Seth said as he teleported to the restaurant.

"Never been there..." Next thing she knew they were at the resturaunt. She looked downward slightly as people began to stare at her. "I never really realized how awkward it is...since I couldn't see them looking at me...I don't like it." she said to Seth. She sighed, trying to ignore it while they were waiting to be seated.

"You'll get used to it." Seth said as he smiled at Serus. The maî·tre d' lead them to a table. Seth pulled out the chair for Serus, and put Annemarie in one of the chairs.
"So um are you like daddy?" Annemarie asked tilting her head. "Annemarie Elisabeta Augustin! Stop being so nosy." Seth said giving her a slightly evil look. "Sorry." Annemarie said looking at the table. Seth rarely used her second middle name. Seth sighed. "No I'm sorry hunbun. I'm just a little on edge from this morning." Seth said looking back at the moment Damien sent him through the window. "Was it more bad people from New York?" Annemarie asked wondering. "To tell you the truth, I don't know." Seth said with a sigh. "Anyway let's not talk about that stuff ok?" Seth said as he looked at the menu. *** After they finished eating Seth teleported them back to his house. |
