littl3chocobo 11-23-2016 11:17 PM

hahaha, alright then xD

Den 11-23-2016 11:24 PM

I really don't miss the massive amounts of homework being in school entails.

littl3chocobo 11-23-2016 11:33 PM

me either XD yeesh

Potironette 11-23-2016 11:36 PM

-posts hoping my title will change-
I'm still in high school and the homework's bad. Once I get to college will it be worse D:?

Shadami 11-23-2016 11:40 PM

it depends on what classes you have. sometimes since its more directed at your interests the homework doesn't seem that much like homework.

dragoness129 11-23-2016 11:42 PM

But then you get older and replace homework with regular job work. XD

Potironette 11-23-2016 11:50 PM

Homework that you care about sounds like a dream XD. A job that you care about sounds like a dream too

littl3chocobo 11-23-2016 11:50 PM

there is a lot more of it? whether or not it is 'bad' depends on how much you love what you are learning and if you are holding down a job/family as well

dragoness129 11-24-2016 12:10 AM

I didn't realize as a kid how much bs is in the world and how hard it is just to scrape by.

littl3chocobo 11-24-2016 12:14 AM

yeah, the better your parents do the more you realize not only how much you did not have to worry about but the more you understand the best way to go about taking up that burdon

Potironette 11-24-2016 12:16 AM

I don't realize how much I have to worry about nor do I know how to go about making by. Taking that into consideration, I think maybe I live a pretty comfortable life, material-wise anyway.

dragoness129 11-24-2016 12:18 AM

I had some stuff happen in 2012, and my family is still trying to get back on its feet. It is a struggle.

littl3chocobo 11-24-2016 12:23 AM

so a wee bit of coddling, that is ok too i guess X''D

i do wish you some luck with it

Shadami 11-24-2016 12:54 AM

I have lived a hard life. but not as hard as some. i at least had a house to live in, and food on my plate every day. xD

Ginger 11-24-2016 12:55 AM

Thanks for the leftovers, Chocobo :3 <3

dragoness129 11-24-2016 01:01 AM

Thank you for the luck! -hugs-

@ Sha - Same! -hugs- Life could be a lot worse.

littl3chocobo 11-24-2016 01:04 AM

i am happy to live somewhere i am not constantly under threat of eviction from and can cook my own meals<3

i hope they help you get big and strong<3

dragoness129 11-24-2016 01:05 AM

Being evicted is never fun. >_<

littl3chocobo 11-24-2016 01:06 AM

yeah especially when it's not based around any rationale

dragoness129 11-24-2016 01:13 AM

Yeah, I've had some people choose not to renew a lease for no good reason. They just didn't want to rent it to us, well, my mother-in-law actually, but we were staying with her.

littl3chocobo 11-24-2016 01:15 AM

i have done the live-in thing which is what i mean, leases are better because you at least know when your date is coming and can see how it will pan out

dragoness129 11-24-2016 01:17 AM

Then there are landlords who try to evict you before your end date on a lease. >_<

littl3chocobo 11-24-2016 01:24 AM

unless you agreed to it in your contract you can file for litigations against them

dragoness129 11-24-2016 01:34 AM

Yeah, she had taken some landlords to court over it.

littl3chocobo 11-24-2016 01:41 AM

good for her(though why the fuck she would do it to you in turn i cannot guess)

dragoness129 11-24-2016 02:01 AM

She and I had gotten into fights before.

Rainbowfox Ari 11-24-2016 10:14 AM

HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone!

trystan830 11-24-2016 01:16 PM

happy turkey day, Ari!

Tohopekaliga 11-24-2016 01:53 PM

Gobble gobble. Happy Thanksgiving. :)

trystan830 11-24-2016 02:54 PM

i had chicken salad for lunch, as we're having mac & cheese for dinner. =)

Tam I am 11-24-2016 02:58 PM

Anybody else need leftovers?

Young peeps, value the parents that teach you the skills you need for life. All mine taught me was that the bomb was gonna fall, stay the hell away from everyone and trust nobody, work like a horse every day in the bush, and DON'T dare have your own personality or think for yourself.

*redeems sob story with terrible humour*

Eating a clock is time consuming.

Potironette 11-24-2016 03:10 PM

Too bad I'm a young peep and my parents don't teach me the skills I need for life :P
I get a meal, a roof, and otherwise was/am told to take care of myself and not bother anybody.

Hahaha XD. That's funny.

Tam I am 11-24-2016 03:14 PM

LOL But that IS good life skills! You're out in the world learning that life's a beep.

Thank you. *bows* I can't take credit for it.

You know what to call those little tables that hook over the bathtub?

Bridge over bubbled waters.

Potironette 11-24-2016 03:27 PM

Well, I think I'm a weird combination of sheltered and un-sheltered. I can get that life's logically not rainbows and sunshine, but I'm pretty unknowledgeable about the world ^^;;

Haha XD. I don't take baths so it took me a while to understand, but those things are nice <3.

When I was really young kid though, I did take baths, and I literally had a plank over the bath to stand on :o

Tam I am 11-24-2016 03:32 PM

LOL Yeah, I don't take baths anymore either. I don't have enough elbow grease to get the tub cleaned to my satisfaction after a bath. So I shower. Yay for fake rain.

Potironette 11-24-2016 03:33 PM

Fake warm rain. If only rain was warm in wintertime :P

Tam I am 11-24-2016 03:50 PM

Then there'd be mosquitoes forever.

Glitch 11-24-2016 03:56 PM

down with the mosquitos!

Potironette 11-24-2016 04:08 PM

Don't let the mosquitoes eat people for Thanksgiving!

*mosquito propaganda* bzzt
