Mizuki couldnt help the reaction as Thalion reached for his face. The slight flinch was not intended but it was to late to take it back now. Seeing the light flecks of red and the motion of the hand made him think of the punch he had got from the male earlier that evening. Though as the hand dropped and Thalion took some steps away was when Mizuki realized how Thalion felt. He could feel the sorrow and frustration through the link and he matched it.

Though as Thalion continued to speak Mizuki just stood there. Even as the male turned and walked a little ways away he stood there like he was frozen to the spot. After Thalion stopped speaking Mizuki made up his mind as the male once again turned to leave.

With swift movements he was behind the male with his arms around the males chest as he hugged him close in a tight embrace. Mizukis arms shook a little as he held tightly to the male "I didnt think you were happy..." Mizuki said lightly as he pressed his non bruised cheek to Thalions back. Breathing deeply he sighed a little "...you dont have to show that you are all the time..." He said lightly "But..." Here was when Mizuki paused a moment.

His hands gripped the males shirt as he hugged him tighter if possible. His emotions were taking over and Mizuki knew that and he knew that it was a matter of time before Thalion did as well. The link would help but also the little heaves of his chest as he couldnt help the little tears that flooded out of light lavender eyes as he cried a little. "I really didnt mean to push him that far..." Mizuki said lightly "I...just want him to succeed...the thought of loosing him..." Mizuki said before he growled "Of loosing you...it scares me more then anything in this world" He said in an almost broken whisper.

After a few moments Mizuki loosened his grip but only to turn the male around in his arms. By this time the tiny flecks of red were there yes but not as bright or thick as they were. Mizuki looked right into those eyes with his own tear filled ones "Thalion I..." Though he paused a moment "I am sorry...for everything" He said with a little hiccup as he hugged the male hiding his head in a dark chest. It took a moment or two but he was glad when those arms rapped around him and hugged him back.

After a little bit of time Mizuki moved and pulled back just a little so he could look into the dark face before him "You...say that your still happy..." Mizuki lightly as his ears dipped back some "...show me...?" Mizuki asked in a broken whisper as he looked to Thalion with almost pleading eyes. It had been many a moon since the couple shared everything that they were with each other. Mizuki missed it...all of it. The kisses the light touches. Everything was far and few between now and it saddened him. Though after a moment or two when the male didnt respond his ears dipped lower as he frowned some "...Please..." He asked lightly as his hands gripped Thalions back tighter

He was frustrated. He had been for a while, there were quite a few things that weighted on his mind and he had just ignored them all the while they were here. Just seeing Mizuki flinch back from him made everything sink in that he could have prevented all of this. If he had just stepped up a little or pushed to keep them from drifting apart like this. Of course a relationship took two for it to work but he could have done anything differently. But the damage was already done now.

He wasn't sure if he was actually planning to see Mizuki tomorrow or not if the other had let him walk away. Maybe he would have stayed low for a while to try and sort things out or to allow Mizuki some space as he felt it was hardly fair to expect the other to want him around after today. Though those ideas stopped as he suddenly felt arms around him preventing him from leaving or taking any steps further.

His ears dropped a little listening to the other start by saying he didn't think he as happy. He wasn't with how things were going but that never meant he wasn't happy still being with Mizuki... hardly. The thought never crossed his mind in truth. But the longer he thought about it the other had plenty of reasons to think that Thalion had lost any feelings for him. The last time they did anything together, even just something simple like this, was.. he had no idea when.

Even now with just Mizuki holding onto him he wasn't sure he could ask for more, what even caused them to start going at one another's throats over the years? It wasn't the children that was certain, heck if anything the two young ones kind of forced them to speak to one another over the past few years. Though this was when Mizuki seemed to go on saying sorry again.

He felt the hicks in the breath from the other still holding onto him and the grip tighten like Mizuki would lose him if he dared to release his hold. He knew what fear Mizuki had at losing Nytria or himself. It made sense he wanted the boy to succeed. Even to the point he was blind to what was right in front of him. Really it was the same fear that had kept Thalion at a odds with what he should do.

He knew he had to fix this problem, but there was a fear that tugged at his mind. What if it made things worse on Nytria. He'd never forgive himself if out of all of this trying to find a solution he didn't cure the child as well. Let alone what if the cure didn't work on the child even? What then, he'd be forced to watch their son grow up not knowing when or if he'd make it let alone how long he'd make it. Heck Thalion was only twenty-eight and seemed to be nearly doomed as it was.

Though his mind snapped back to what was going on around him as Mizuki loosened his grip a little. Though a unvoiced question was answered as Mizuki turned him around looking at him. He didn't want to look honestly, seeing that flash of fear before when the other flinched was enough. To see it again.. he didn't want to. Though it wasn't there for the moment. He knew there were still traces of the rage from earlier but it was dying slowly. He wasn't holding onto it because he wanted to, he wasn't even mad current, not in the slightest but it just refused to go away.

When Mizuki spoke again and moved hugging him he flinched a little. He wasn't sure why really, maybe out of worry. He wasn't sure how easily thing could turn around from this to back to a moment where he didn't know what was going on again. There was those words again though. Sorry. Mizuki had nothing to be sorry over. Thalion knew his limits, he had told himself before that conversation started that he needed to back down from it after he had said what needed to be said.

Either way he hesitated before finally moving his arms to hold Mizuki in return. He half forgot what it even felt like to have the other close. Even when they slept together in the same bed Mizuki had moved away. He forgot when that first happened, he should have stopped things back then when he noticed it. But maybe things weren't as lost as they seemed to be, they were here now weren't they?

All the while Thalion had stayed quiet letting Mizuki talk and say what he needed to. He wasn't sure what to say really and it was hard to even fit the right words together that needed to be said. But never the less Mizuki went on, moving back a little to look at him. This was when Mizuki spoke again bringing up what was said earlier. The words that followed with that pleading look was enough to destroy anyone.

Show him... how? Where did he even begin to show him. He wasn't even sure he knew how to show him anymore. They had been apart for so long he almost felt like he had to go back to square one to even know what he was doing. But now things were different... he wanted to show him he almost screamed in his head just to move or do something. Even just something simple just anything was better then just standing there.

It was a good thing Mizuki spoke again pleading with him. He felt the sadness behind that please as the hands on the back of his shirt gripped tighter. Though by now he gave up on thinking what was the right answer to what Mizuki sought out. He knew the answer and it was everything. They both had just missed the other even though both sides had been all but ignoring the other for the past year plus.

Moving a little he needed to test it. He wasn't sure what he would have done if Mizuki had flinched away again but the other didn't this time as he rested a hand on the non bruised side of Mizuki's face. After that he knew what he needed to do. At the least to start things as he kissed the other. Though it wasn't just a quick kiss. No it was one that had been needed for quite a while.

He only broke it finally to get air and to speak. "I.. you don't have to be sorry... it's my fault I knew and I never said anything all this time." He knew that there was a breaking point he just .. he figured things would go away he guessed but they just kept building. "You wouldn't have known, even about Nytria thats not your fault... if I had just come to you sooner I could have prevented all of this." He knew what Nytria was going through better then anyone. Even the stubborn determination that nearly ended it.

Though with those words he held onto Mizuki a little tighter with the one arm still around him to keep him close. Not like the other was going anywhere still holding onto his short. "I love you Mizuki.. the last thing I wanted was for any of this to happen." He didn't let the other get any words in just yet before he kissed him again. Conflicting emotions he wasn't sure if he should be sad things had to come to this or happy that maybe they could fix it.

After the please Mizuki stood there in Thalions arms looking at the male. He knew that what he said was what he wanted...he wanted to feel the male kiss him, hug him...everything that came with it. Though after what had happened Mizuki was not sure if he would get what he wanted. It was not until he saw the hand rise that he gave a little smile.

As the hand was placed on his cheek he closed his eyes and rubbed it lightly into the dark hand that rested there. However he didnt have very long to think of that warm hand as he felt a brush of lips against his. He didnt think twice as he kissed Thalion back. It was a slow deep kiss that was filled with many emotions. The two only breaking it so Thalion could speak.

"I.. you don't have to be sorry... it's my fault I knew and I never said anything all this time." No it was not the males fault. Well in a way it was but it was also his and he knew that. "The blame is not yours or mine...it is ours" Mizuki said lightly looking at Thalion. "There was no preventing anything...I should of thought more about it" He said in a broken tone.

Though that ended as he looked to Thalion again as the male spoke. How long had it been since he heard those words of endearment? Mizuki couldnt recall and it gave his heart a light pain to think about. Though at the same time it made his heart flutter. "I love you to Thalion" Mizuki said as his ears dipped a little "I never stopped and I never will" He said leaning in a little "Even if we fight on somethings..." He said with a little laugh.

Mizuki leaned in the rest of the way after that as he kissed Thalion again. Moving his arms from Thalions back he moved them up to rest around broad shoulders as Mizuki kissed him. Those kisses moved from a mouth, along a jaw line to a pointed ear. Licking the lobe lightly he gave little kisses until the pointed tip where he gave a sharp nip.

Moving his lips lightly he brushed them against Thalions ear lightly before he spoke "Hmmm....Are you going to show me..." Mizuki asked lightly before he gave a little lick "...or....do I have to show you?" He asked as he moved his hands from around Thalions neck to trail them down a muscled chest.

That was true it was their fault, a joined effort in this. Things being let go for so long. Not listening to each other. It was all the cause of this. There was a number of things they could have done differently and should have but it was too late for that now. Hopefully lessons learned and there wouldn't be a repeat of this.

IT was the next words he had wanted to hear though, he wasn't sure if they still held the same meaning or if he had wasted his breath saying them himself. Though it seemed they did have meaning, the mix of emotions from Mizuki said that. Though he smirked a little as the last comment. "Just sometimes?" Seemed like anymore that's all they knew how to do.

Another kiss soon followed Mizuki's words, though this seemed to lead the other into more then just a mere simple kiss. Each newly placed kiss that lead up Mizuki nipping the tip of his ear. That final action was what finally got rid of that lingering rage from before, it had been fading during this whole time but he had more important things to think about at the moment.

"That does not sound like I have much of a choice now does it?" Having still retrying to steady his breath from the slight gasp he ended up letting out from the nip. He didn't give Mizuki time to say anything before he moved picking the other up and carrying him to the bed before sitting him on the edge.

If the other protested he ignored it though he doubted Mizuki was going to protest to anything between them right now. Kissing the other once more as he sat on the edge of the bed he kept fighting the reminder of what had happened earlier by the bruise on Mizuki's face. "You don't have to show me something I already know" He said before pushing the other back against the bed staying over top of him and kissing him once more.

Though that kiss slowly lead into a few others and soft nips as he moved from his lips to his neck and down to a now exposed collarbone after he had moved the robe a little. There was no point in rushing things.. not when they had all but avoided each over for almost a year if not longer.

Oh Thalion had a choice but he was sure the male was going to go in the same direction as himself. Both of them wanted it so why fight it? This was when he gave a nip to Thalions ear and he heard the little gasp from the male. It was rare that he got to hear anything like that. So when it happened he gave a little smile. Yes he loved those little noises and exhales of breath from the male. It made everything worth while.

However he seemed to have more effect on the male then he thought as he was picked up and moved to the bed. Mizuki didnt protest the movement. No instead he tilted his head a little and kissed the underside of Thalions chin. This was when he was placed on the bed and Mizuki leaned back a little looking to Thalion. Though that lean soon turned into him being pushed back into the bed as Thalion climbed over him. Mizuki gave a little growl as he rested his head back.

Mizuki sighed a little as his eyes closed half way as Thalion leaned down and kissed him. Those kisses soon moved down from his mouth to his neck as a dark hand gently moved the robes off pale shoulders. Mizuki couldnt help the little shudder that ran through his body as he felt the kisses and nips that were placed on his collar bone. It was a weekness of his and he knew that.

Moving his arms pale hands rubbed up the sides of the male before back down to the hem of the shirt. Grasping it he pulled it over the males head and threw it to the side. As soon as it was gone those pale hands were back to where they wanted to be, resting on dark skin. Lightly brushing his fingers over a dark back he moved and rested them on those hips above him. Looking up to Thalion as the male moved Mizuki gave a smile before he leaned up.

Bringing his mouth to a pointed ear he growled a little "Let me hear your voice....just this once..." He said in a husked whisper as he nipped the ear before falling back down. Looking up at the male his eyes were half lidded and his cheeks were red with a blush. Mizuki gave Thalion a little smile.

Of course there was no protesting. They both wanted this if not needed it. All this time and they had been together but not at the same time. Where did things start to go wrong at? He didn't remember and hardly cared at this point. He had wasted so much time when they could have both had more time together.

After the shirt was pulled off and Mizuki had rested his hands again was when the other seemed to move and speak near his ear before nipping it once more causing a slight shiver to follow. It was something he normally fought against, every so often Mizki would manage some noise... Though giving in once wouldn't kill him. Leaning a little he kissed Mizuki before speaking. "You make it hard to say no looking at me like that." It was the truth.

Even with that being said he still never bothered to rush things, not till it seemed like all they were doing was tormenting each other. Mizuki got his wish though maybe request was a better word. Once things were finally over and the two were laying there it hardly took more then a few moments for Mizuki to claim laying in the spot he use to lay. Curled up against the other and close.

Maybe all was not lost just yet.. He had missed all of this. Just having the other close and spending time together. The touches and kisses just everything. It had been a while when he remembered being this relaxed to be honest. Mizuki seemed more then tired though as he almost thought the other had passed out almost as soon as he got comfortable. Kissing the top of Mizuki's forehead he told him good night, even if he didn't hear him.

The next day came and Mizuki seemed against the idea of training Nytria. The boy was confused by this after having Mizuki drill into his head for so long to train daily and to push things to their limit. Granted the child still needed to recover anyway. None the less his sibling was happy with this news as she stayed by his side the whole night. Though known to anyone else she called her brother stupid and that he had caused father and papa to fight again. Though she was far more sensitive to the limit her brother had then he was. Not that children understood this.

The two kids settled and healing was well on it's way was when Thalion finally decided he needed to get this over with before he hurt Mizuki again or worse. They were still in the room though out of ear shot of the two kids as he pulled Mizuki to the side. "I need to do something.."

Was how he started this. Though Mizuki looked at him oddly at this. "I need to fix this... you know what I'm talking about. I can't stay like this it'll progressively get worse if I try ignoring it any longer." Worse could mean he could even hurt the children or kill Mizuki or anyone for that matter. That was the last thing he wanted.

"There is a catch though.. I was told there is a chance that going through with this it could cure Nytria.." Mizuki seemed to question why that was a bad thing. "The other part of that is it could also not cure him and actually make things worse. The better odds it just won't cure him and we'll still have to figure something out." Mizuki probably saw what conflict Thalion had now, he was worried that if he followed through with this he could end up hurting Nytria.

"But I don't think I have a real choice unless you count locking me up somewhere I can't hurt anyone or myself as a option." It was a option and if they didn't go through with this then it was their only option. He wasn't sure if after it got to a certain point if it could be cured even.

They needed to talk...well that was not a good thing. Usually those words fallowed with a fight though Mizuki hoped not this time. After a moment of Thalion speaking Mizuki growled a little "I agree that it dose need fixed" Mizuki said "I didnt want to say anything but I knew it was getting worse...the link gives more then I thought" He said with a little shrug of his shoulders.

However as the male continued to speak his ears dipped back. He dudnt understand how curing the young male was a bad thing though as Thalion continued he understood. "Its a chance that needs to happen" Mizuki said "I mean..there are other ways to stop it" He said "Though I really do not wish to take away Nyrias magic...blocking those channels..." Mizuki shook his head "I dont wish that on anyone" He said with a little shiver.

However this was when Thalion continued to speak "But I don't think I have a real choice unless you count locking me up somewhere I can't hurt anyone or myself as a option." At that Mizuki shook his head. No that was not an option "No...I will do everything in power to prevent that" He said leaning in and giving the male a kiss "I couldnt stand knowing you were locked away much less by my hand" He said before he gave a smirk "Unless I could get those cuffs back" He said with a little laugh "Though that cave is so far away"

By the way Mizuki acted he was sure the other thought this was going to lead to a fight. If it did it wasn't the intention. "Heh.. yeah.. I figured you probably could tell.." The link had changed a lot of things. Mainly emotions being next to impossible to hide. This in turn the other probably saw just how easy that balance was tipped over almost nothing now.

Mizuki mentioned blocking the magic channels as Thalion tensed a little. "Er.. no.. we're not going that route.." He spoke before rubbing his own wrist a little. "Later its his choice but now when he's a child.." He had tried sealing his own magic when he fist made those cuffs. To say the least the scar on one wrist proved how well that went, he nearly thought he had doomed himself that day.

"I know you will. I'm more worried that it might be our only option. There is a chance that my old man was wrong and this method might not change anything or it might just be a temporary fix." Well if he never mentioned it before he did now, bringing up that this was information he got from his father. Though he never said when he got the information...

Mizuki smirking and speaking of those cuffs against made Thalion laugh weakly. "Well I'll keep my mouth shut on having made a improved pair and what I did with them." Granted he had worked with the master smith here and so the older male knew how to make them if Mizuki actually wanted a pair.. plus the originals were there as well of the improved ones.

"I'd rather avoid being locked up somewhere unless it's for certain reasons.." He said before he kissed the other resting one hand at Mizuki's hips keeping him close. Though other then special conditions he'd probably go crazy being forced to stay in one spot for a extended period of time.

"Either way.. thats the options we have. Either I go there and work my way to the vault in the castle or we seal my own powers." Option two meant a lot of pain for Mizuki though. Option one had a high chance of death at the same time. Though it wasn't like he was planning to take over the capital.. so they didn't need a large group really just enough to take care of trouble if it came up.

Mizuki smiled at that "Improved ones huh..." He said with a little wiggle of his hips. Mizuki also had to agree with the male. He really didnt want to have to lock Thalion away. Not if he could avoid it. So if there was other options he was greatfull for them. Though it was not the option he was hoping for. "So...You want to go back to the drow kingdom and head for the vault to look for a cure that might not even work?" Mizuki asked lightly.

Looking to Thalion he gave a smile "High chance of death and a small chance of success...seems normal to me" Mizuki said with a shrug of his shoulders. Though after that he had to laugh. It was a response he would expect from Thalion not himself. It would seem the male had rubbed off on him in more ways then one.

As the kiss came and the hand on the hip Mizuki smiled "We will gather everything that is needed and make arrangements for the kids" Mizuki said lightly "A small group should be good enough" He said with a smile before he leaned in and kissed the male "Just another day in paradise" He said with a smile as he moved and nipped at Thalions neck with a little growl.

Though any thoughts he had were over as soon as they began as a little voice was heard to his right "Papa are you and daddy fighting again?" Belquiri asked and Mizuki smiled. Turning his head he shook it as he looked down at the little one "Oh no my dear...its quite the opposite" He said with a smile as he let go of Thalion and bent over picking up Belquiri before turning a little. The child now between Thalion and himself.

Leaning into Thalion Mizuki rested his head on one shoulder as Belquirirs little one rested on his chest. "Your daddy and I were just talking" He said with a smile "about how cute and adorable you are!" He said leaning in and playfully nibbeling the childs neck making nom sounds all the while Belquiri laughed and kicked about "Daddy save me!" She said in between giggles.

He shrugged a little as Mizuki said it seemed normal. "Well would it help saying I'm taking advice from someone who's been dead over twenty years then? That makes it not normal." Though that was a bit of a smart answer. He didn't want to say what real choice did they have in it all. If they didn't go the problem was going to get worse. That and they had no idea how much time they had to find another cure even.

Yeah plans for the children was the first step. They were safer here that as certain. Though as Mizuki mentioned paradise he laughed a little at the voice that rang up questioning if they were fighting again. Mizuki scooped the child up after saying no to her. Nope not this time.. maybe not for a while.

Though that was when Mizuki seemed to go on and say that they were talking about how cute and adorable she was. Well that was a good cover up. Though when Mizuki started playing with the girl was when talking seemed to be at it's end as Belquiri tried to free herself from what Mizuki was doing. To admit it he'd miss this when they got older. Though for now he had time to enjoy some of the small things he had been neglecting for a while. Really things they both had been neglecting.

Easily prying Belquiri from Mizuki he moved over to where one of the empty beds were seeing as this was the children's room and Nytria was in the other. Well for the moment the young male was anyway. Tossing Belquiri on the bed as she moved to be sitting up apparently amused by this as she squeaked a little. Mizuki had taken a few steps towards them by now as he grabbed one of the wooden swords and tossed it at Mizuki.

"run, I'll fend off the savage lass." Belquiri laughed a little as she moved to duck over the side of the bed. Though Thalion didn't get much time to bask in the slight glory he had at the moment as Nytria half tackled him from behind and promptly sat on his back before speaking up. "Get him Papa!" The boy apparently feeling a bit better today said. "Wait what? How was that fair?" Thalion half complained though if he had wanted to get up he probably could have. Granted he wasn't expecting a tackle that was for sure.

Mizuki smiled as Thalion took Belquiri before lightly tossing the young female onto one of the beds. Only having a split moment to catch the wooden sword as Thalion spoke "Run, I'll fend off the savage lass." He couldnt help but take some steps forward "Hardly fair to against one!" Mizuki said in a playfull matter but his smile only grew as he saw what was coming.

It was a habit the young child had since he was able to do it. Laughing Mizuki watched as Nytria ran into the room and dive bombed Thalion forcing the male to lay face first into the bed as the child sat on his back. "Get him papa!" Mizuki laughed and couldnt help but jump onto the bed lightly hitting Thalion with the wooden sword "Take that and that!" Mizuki said as Nytria clapped his hands "You show him papa!" He said and Mizuki laughed.

Though that laugh turned into a gasp as he himself found to be face first into the bed below as Belquiri jumped on his back "Meany stop beating daddy!" She said taking the wooden sword and hitting Mizuki with it. Mizuki squawked "No no not the beating!" He all but yelled as he moved his head and hid it in Thalions chest "Protect me from your evil childern!" He said with a laugh as he heard from both of them at the same time "WE ARE NOT EVIL!"

Two on one huh, even Thalion could have seen what was coming. Least by now anyway. Nytria had gotten bigger over the years. To say the least Thalion wasn't sure how many more they had for stuff like this. If years at all, though he wasn't dwelling on such a thought at the moment as the young boy called out for Mizuki to get him.

He had given the sword up in the process of this as Mizuki played along with this attack. "Oh gods no.. attacking the unarmed even!" Though this was when apparently Belquiri came to his rescue saying stop beating daddy before she managed to get Mizuki down and freed the sword from him.

Though this was when Mizuki spoke and hid his head against Thalion's chest. "Wait why are they mine when they are evil?" Though once more the children repeated they weren't evil. Either way he half curled around Mizuki's head and chest to guard it from Belquiri. Though it was a short lived attach as Nytria took up trying to defend papa.

At the least for siblings they never had to worry about them going too far. It was odd they rarely fought thinking on it as he moved a little to sit up getting Mizuki to sit up with him. "I think it's safe for now." He joked with a slight laugh as the two kids seemed to be distracted for the time being.

Sitting up with Thalion he groaned a little "Good thing to...I dont know how mcuh I would of lasted" He said with a little smile. However this was when Mizuki gave a smile "Either way thats enough playing for now" Mizuki said with a sigh looking to the kids "Its time for your studies" He said to them both and laughed a little at Nytria groaning but Belquiri almost clapping. Yes they were completely different yet so much the same.

After that the conversation between the two became a reality as they got ready. It was decided a small group was to go so it was Thalion, Damien, and himself. That was the plan anyways. It had taken some time almost two weeks for all the arrangements to happen. Getting the sears to cover while he was gone it would only take a few weeks at most. At least so he hopped.

Taking with Neimi and Raden the two childern were placed within their care as the small group got ready to go "Papa why cant we come?" Nytria asked tilting his head as he stood there holding Belquiris hand "Yeah why cant we come?" She asked tilting her head the other way then her brother. Mizuki smiled "This is not a trip or mission for kids" He said bending over placing his head between them.

Turning he gave Nytria a kiss to the head before turning and doing the same to Belquiri. Pulling back a little he smiled "Now...do as your papa says. Be good for your aunt and uncle" Mizuki said before glaring "Papa means it" He said in a stern voice "No running off, no trouble...do your studies and your training..." Mizuki said "Maybe you could convince uncle Raden to take you for some walks to" He said and smiled at the glare he got from the male.

"Now be good" He said standing and turning before getting up on the horse that was beside Thalion and Damien. "Neimi...watch them like a hawk this time" He said with a smile "We dont need a repeat of last time now do we?" He asked with a smile and a nod before turning his horse and heading down the large stone road leading to the draw bridge that would take them out of the castle grounds.

It had taken some time before things plans were settled and what they needed to take with them was gathered. They settled on as small a group as possible. It was thought to take a few of the others but for the sake of not standing out more then they had to they decided it was safer just to take Damien with them. Mizuki would repeat the spell he had used the last time they were there and hopefully none would be the wiser.

Though at this point things were already settled and good byes had been said, they were waiting on Mizuki to reinforce the word Thalion had said of no causing trouble. Neimi shook her head at the comment of a repeat. "No.. none of that." She looked down thinking back on it. Surely they were more well behaved by now. At the least Thalion had less to worry about Nytria now, Mizuki had slacked up on the training so the chances of the boy pushing himself were unlikely unless something drastic happened.

The two still complained that they wouldn't get in the way and all of that. "We'll be back before you know it." Belquiri seemed unconvinced of this as she pouted a little. "Promise?" Thalion nodded a little Mizuki agreeing. Damien started to say something but Thalion stopped him. "Say one milord comment I'm kicking you from your horse so help me.." Though he knew at least a few were coming.

None the less the two were in the care of Neimi and Raden as they set off. It was going to be a long trip, from here to the Drow capital was quite a trip even by horse. Though the trip there wasn't what anyone was worried about. It was their plan going over without any issues. There were plenty of flaws in the plan but they hardly wanted to try to start a new war and take the city by force.

None the less there was trouble a few days after they had left the Wood elf capital. Belquiri quickly shook her sibling as she seemed panicked. "We're leaving" She spoke quickly as he blinked at her before being dragged behind her. "I left a note and we'll be back ... I already packed things we might need." Neimi and Raden were out cold, she was Mizuki's daughter alright. She had drugged both of them with a sleeping tonic. They would be out for a few hours at least or at most a half a day if not longer.

None the less she dragged her brother with her who quickly agreed to the idea of wanting to help their parents. Headstrong was a word for this. But Raden and Neimi were going to have heart attacks once they woke and found that there were horses missing and a note that they would be back soon. They knew where the two would run off to or rather after...

The trip was a long and draining one. Because of the link they could only walk for so long before one of them needed to stop and breath. That added more time then one would think. Now a week and a day or so later the small group found them selfs at the drow capital. Getting in was easy though finding a place to stay was a more interesting thing to do. After their last visit it would seem that the current queen was on a bit of a rampage.

Some of the village was ruined as if a raid happened and the proof of that was the still smoking wood of some of the shops. Though lucky for them Damien still knew of some people that would be of great help. So that was the first place they headed. It was a little herb shop almost off to the side and forgotten as it was between homes instead of other shops.

As they came up to the door Damien turned to the two of them. Mizuki this time even dressed the part of a drow. Down to clothes and the like. There was no way he was sticking out this time not when his back twinged everytime he thought of the first time they had been here. "Dont make any sudden movements around him" Damien said "After a few raids...Nester became a little skittish" He said with a small smile.

Entering the shop Damien headed in first fallowing by Mizuki then Thalion. The door was closed behind them and at the sound of the little bell there was a soft low voice "H-hello?" Mizuki heard as he saw a little head pop out from behind a drape that rested behind the counter. Taking a step out the male looked up "Awww...Damien! Dont do that to me!" The little male said placing a hand on his chest as he gave a sigh.

Little glasses rested on a small nose. White hair framed a dark face as pointed ears stuck out and were almost always dipped down. Standing a little over five feet he was shy and cautious of almost everyone. "Sorry Nester I didnt mean to" Damien said with a little laugh "But I brought some friends here that need your help" He said with a smile.

Turning he motioned to Mizuki first "This is Mizuki..." He said and He bowed lightly. "And this...this is Thalion" Damien said as he stepped aside. This was when Nester stopped as he looked to Thalion "By the goddess...so the rumor was true" He said a little though as Thalion growled he shrunk back almost flinching. "S-sorry" The male said lightly taking a step back.

This was when he moved and went around the counter to the front door. Locking it he closed the blinds "W-well come to the b-back" He said moving and making his way back there. As they all reached the back of the small house there was a table with four chairs "Please...sit" He said moving to the little kitchen "I will make some tea" Nester said "Maybe something to bring up energy" The male said as he went to a shelf as looked over the herbs.

Mizuki couldnt help it. Moving over he stood by the male "My...what a lovelie collection!" He said and Nester jumped a little "Sorry" Mizukis aid lightly and the male shook his head "I am still missing so much" He said and Mizuki smiled "You have some that I dont" Mizuki said almost amazed. Mizuki prided himself in his herbs though as he looked here he saw some that he didnt have.

"You are a herb man?" Nester asked and Mizuki nodded "Oh yes so indeed" He said "I find my self using more herbs then anything" He said with a smile "So for the tea I am assuming your doing a white lilly blend?" Mizuki asked and the male smiled "The base of it yes" Nester said as he grabbed something else from the shelf and Mizuki frowned "Why would you add golden glow?" He asked a little shocked "Well for one it added the healing factor to sore muscles not only the calming effect for the head as well as the taste" He said with a smile.

Mizuki took a step back "Hmm...I never once thought of that" He said crossing his arms as his ears dipped back a little "Its a great way to help everything at one go" He said as he mixed the herbs and put them in the hot water "Yes...I see that" The smell that reached his nose soon after was that of vanilla. "Nester my man you and I need to sit and chat about some things" Mizuki said as he moved and sat back at the table beside Thalion.

"A little... I think a raid would make me more then a little.." Thalion's reply to not making any sudden movements around this so called contact Damien seemed to have. He had a feeling that Damien had kept in touch with quite a few contacts ... It was every so often he would bring up news of what was happening here and that things were only getting worse. Though Thalion still swore he had enough to deal with without trying to take over a city so it would never happen nor could he do anything about what was going on here without causing a small war at the least.

It was funny in a way, everyone spoke of how fearless the drow were. Yet here was a little man that nearly seemed to have a heart attack at the mere sound of someone entering the shop. Though as soon as Damien started speaking Thalion knew what reaction was coming. Oh here things went again... Here he was just starting to get use to dealing with the guards at the wood elven capital let alone anyone else here finding out said rumors of one of the royals being alive were true.

Though after the slight huff Thalion gave as he seemed to state the rumors were true it caused the man to shrink back. Damien shook his head a little saying he was like that. But more details could be explained later when they were not in the open front of the shop. Either way the group followed where they were told to go to be out of sight and maybe be allowed a bit of a breather for the time being till they got into some of the more complicated problems.. like getting into the vault and from there into the passage Thalion needed to get to.

Once they were relocated to a small house and told to sit was when Thalion started going over what they needed to do with Damien. They both knew the castle layout and as far as they knew nothing had been changed so it should be easy enough to get in and out without much trouble. Though this was when he noticed Mizuki seemed to get a new spark of energy from the herb collection this contact seemed to have.

Being linked it was hard yo mask the excitement Mizuki seemed to express at the moment at talking with the other. He would never admit to being jealous but he was and he hid it well. Even with being linked Thalion was a master of hiding what his thoughts or true feelings were when he so wanted to. Instead he busied himself with talking to Damien as they seemed to agree on the best path to take. There shouldn't be too many guards posted at the areas they had to pass through and if they timed it they could avoid them altogether.

Granted he didn't like the way Mizuki seemed to be almost overly friendly with this new found companion.. but saying something would hardly help things at the moment. Though at Damien and Thalion mentioning getting to the vaults was when Nester spoke up after a few moments and the tea was finished. "Did you get my last message Damien?" The older knight shook his head no as Nester looked down a little.

"The queen finally cornered the Death wizard and the knight of shadow." Damien frowned at this news, they were both strong allies as he rested his head on his hands propping his elbows on the table to remain eye level with Thalion. Though this made Thalion speak up. "What? How did they get her?" He seemed almost in shock at the mentioning of one of the two figures as Nester seemed to explain that the two had been laying low for a while but recently the Queen had become more active in her hunt for those still loyal to the crown.

"Rumors of not she was not taking chances on some uprising happening under her feet." He stated about the queen. "Tsk.. damn it" Thalion's ears went back as he tried to relax a little again and Damien seemed to watch him before speaking. "you're conflicted." "Yes I am, if we leave them they are as good as dead. but going to the dungeon is hardly a easy feat... though it should have a passage that puts us closer to where I need to be.. if we get that far."

Damien closed his eyes thinking about it a moment. He knew that the knight spoken of was Thalion's instructor. Besides his father shoving as much magical knowledge down his throat he also had a battle hardened knight that trained him. Damien had helped train Thalion as a child as well but his main master was currently being held in a cell awaiting the fate the queen saw fit.

"They would both be powerful allies." Damien stated knowing Thalion knew that and he was still more conflicted with going out of the way to try and spare them. "Ugh... leaving them there isn't a option is it.. " He muttered a little before sighing. "If it starts looking bad we'll have no choice but leaving them there means I won't sleep well." There seemed to be more to it then that. He owed her... if it wasn't for her he'd be dead, even if she had been hard on him when he was younger it was because of that he was even alive still.

Besides that it was his fault they were both in there. If he had never shown up here then they would be doing whatever they were doing. Though they were hardly the only ones in the cells at the moment. A day prior to Thalion and Mizuki and Damien getting to the city Neimi and Raden had located the children and were talked into just going to see the city. The group had poor luck running into patrols and the two children having signs of being Drow half breeds. The Queen did not like half breed muts as she called them and they would be dealt with as well as the other mut with them, being Raden, and the human.

Everything was getting to Mizuki though the talk of some people the queen had made him listen harder. Who was this female they spoke of? Mizuki didnt know alot of Thalions past even if he knew more then most. So whenever something new was brought up he couldnt help but think on it. The way that Thalion spoke of her however made Mizuki shrink a little. Who was this female to Thalion.

Either way it didnt matter at the moment as the conversation continued and there was talk that they couldnt lave them there. This was when Nester spoke up "Well...lucky for you I have some one that could help" He said with a little smile "I have some guards that owe me some favors" He said with a smile "Its not shocking the amount of guards under the queens rule that want nothing to do with the queen" He said with a nod of his head.

"The only down side to this is that it would be later into the night and with a time limit" Nester said though at this Mizuki smiled and gave a little laugh "Trust me...we are used to time limits" He said with a nod of his head. Nester smiled at this "Well then...the sooner the better yes?" He asked lightly as he stood "We however cant do anything about it today" Nester said with a little nod of his head.

"You are more then welcome to stay here for the night...there are rooms past that hall" Nester said with a motion of his hand "Its not much but its something" Mizuki shook his head at that "Its great...thank you" He said lightly. The trip was long and the spell he had to blend it was starting to get to him. Cracking his neck he sighed a little bit. "Well then..." Nester said standing with a smile "Let me go and talk with some people..." He said as he moved over to the side and grabbed a black cloak.

Thalion and Damien both looked at Nester as he mentioned a few guards owing him favors and that it was hardly shocking the amount under the Queen's rule that despised her. No it wasn't shocking in the least. Most either died that day or gave their loyalties to be spared. If they went against her wishes she'd have them killed or their families first and leave them to rot in a cell somewhere. Yes he was familiar with some ways of his kind, probably more reason he didn't really want to stay here any longer then he had to.

Mizuki was right though they were use to time limits. Though it bothered him on how they had managed to get both his former master and her father. Both of them were forces alone but if they had been grouped up what the heck happened?! He shook his head a little the thought being pushed aside for the time being. Nester mentioned nothing could be done tonight and the idea of rest was a good one.

As Nester mentioned he had to go talk to some people was when Thalion sighed. After the other left was when he leaned back a little. "Why do I get the feeling I'm about to hear more mi'lord remarks.." Damien smiled a little at the exasperated comment. "Well .. might as well try to get some rest. Trying to break into the castle and the dungeon no less won't be a easy feat even with help."

This was when he stood and paused a little by Mizuki as the other seemed to have a few things on his mind having only said a few words. "Coming love?" Though with that he started to walk towards one of the rooms with every intention of passing out. Traveling with that link hardly made things easy on their trip. He figured Mizuki would follow soon enough or whenever he was ready if he didn't get distracted by looking at herbs again.

Neimi cringed a little as she held one of the children close to her. "Thal's going to kill me.." She whimpered as Raden finally gave up on picking the lock. "If this lot doesn't do it first, probably.." That was a grim reply but they had little hope really. Herself and Raden were young still and the children were of course a bit scared being tossed in a cell. such treatment they had never dealt with before.

Probably didn't help that there were a few others down here with them in different cells. One seemed to be a female knight, granted stripped of her weapons and armor at the moment. Her hair was white with dark violet tips and streaks in it. One of the others down here seemed to be a wizard from his dress. Though older, much older. For a elf to actually show any signs of age it was only a guess how old he actually was. Though they seemed to keep a close eye on both of them to make sure they didn't get out.

Mizuki looked to Thalion as he spoke "You might as well just get used to it already" He said to Thalions comment on being called a lord. It was something that he would put up with for the rest of his life...or as long as he was with Mizuki. So he hoped it was the rest of the males life. Though Damien chose this moment and said it was time to get some rest. Yes Mizuki agreed though it seemed Thalion beat him to the punch.

Watching the male stand Mizuki smiled as Thalion spoke "Coming love?" Thalion asked though didnt wait for a response as he headed for a room. Mizuki sat there and watched as he opened the door and walked inside. Standing he dipped his head to Damien "Until the morning" He said as he turned and headed for the room Thalion choose.

Walking in he closed the door and with a sigh ended the spell he had been doing now for hours. His eyes changed back to that of light lavender and his skin drained of all its dark color leaving him his pale self. "I swear...I need to find a way to make that spell easeir" He said as he cracked his neck a little. Walking over he placed his staff leaned up against the wall beside the small bed. Removing his robes he crawled in and cuddled into Thalion.

"Dear lord..." Mizuki said with a sigh "You dont know how...good this feels" He said with another sigh as he cuddled deeper into Thalions chest. After a few moments Mizuki curled his hand into the males side "Thalion..." He said lightly "I...I have a bad feeling about tomorrow" He said with a sad tone. It was true though. It was something that had been unsettling his stomach for awhile and he couldnt shake what was wrong even though he tried.

He smirked a little as Mizuki complained about needing a better way or a easier one to maintain that spell. "Well.. hopefully we won't have many more trips back here where you have to worry about it." If he had a say in it anymore trips back here. Yes that sounded better to him no more trips back here this was the last time it wasn't his issue!

Though after the other cuddled against him and spoke again he had to laugh. "No I don't have any idea. I would rather not find out either." It never settled well with him at the thought of changing how you looked. Though he was against most magic uses anyway.. not that he didn't see when they were helpful. None the less the odd feeling that something was on Mizuki's mind went away.

Even as Mizuki spoke he felt like something bad would come of tomorrow. It wasn't the same feeling he had earlier. "I know... " He said keeping the other close. "This will work out though.. no matter what happens." Though it worried him of what could go wrong besides well everything... Kissing the other lightly he smiled a little. "We made a promise remember? To certain people that we'd be back, no matter what we're keeping that promise." He meant what they had told their children before they left.

Sleep did come, not easily but ti did come sooner or later. His mind was too active. A mix of fear from Mizuki having a bad feeling and excitement in a odd way of knowing they could be caught and there was a number of things to go wrong. Maybe he was just still young and the excitement was outweighing the fear that should be there with the common sense.

By morning Nester had returned with word that he had spoken to a few of the guards that owed him. Not all of the guards on duty near the cells were allies but there were a few. Enough to give them a fighting chance at the least and to buy them some time. Though he spoke like there might be more then just a few guards that this word had gotten around to. Odds were the Queen somehow heard the whispers of the rumor being true and she was waiting to see what would happen before striking.

Things were slowly prepared and they waited until the night. The day went by so slowly and it was the wait that was killing Thalion. None the less it boiled down to the fact they had a hour at most to get into the cell area get those two out and get to the passage that would lead them out of the cell area and eventually twist into the other lower part of the castle that Thalion needed to get into.

So far things had gone perfectly. It was odd for things to go over smoothly. The few allies they had almost made this no challenge. Even as they got to the cell area it seemed they were greeted with little resistance and only had to take out a few guards at the main door. Nester had stayed behind, he was hardly a fighter so that was understandable to say the least.

As the night moved on Mizuki found sleep something hard to come by. After awhile though he did relax enough to get some sleep. The next day came all to early but with it came Nester. The male explained that he got some guards on bored but the hour would be a later one. In way Mizuki was happy that it was later into the evening. That meant less guards on duty.

As the day moved on the group went over the plans and who they had to meet and where they had to meet them. By the time they reached the cells the group of three turned into a group six as each guard they met fallowed to aid. Killing the ones that opposed the group made it to the cells in a short matter of time and with little issues.

Entering the torch lit cells Mizuki moved in and looked about. Cells were carved into stone all the way around a large dome that sunk deep into the earth. Looking over the edge one could see layers and layers of cells. It was the queens main area after all. "Alright so we need to head for the seventh level...cell eight" Mizuki said looking to the group. "Thalion and Damien come with me...You stay here" He said looking to the other three males.

However this was when Mizuki smiled at Thalion "You know im right and its the fastest way to get there" Mizuki said and he couldnt help the little smile that came to his lips "Magic or death" He said with a shurg as he moved his arms around the male as Damien did the same from the other side "Also...be prepaird" Mizuki said as he cast the spell and smiled as he heard Thalion ask what.

As Mizuki stepped back with a pant and looking to Thalion who did the same he smiled "For the energy differance" He said with a little laugh. It was a big one and Mizuki knew that Thalion could feel it as well. However as Mizuki looked past Thalions shoulder he stopped. His eyes looked at the little group across the way and his heart all but stopped. "Um...Thalion" Mizuki said lightly "Please tell me im seeing things" He said lightly.

As the male asked him what he was talking about Mizuki reached two hands out and turned Thalion to look at the cell he was looking at. "Right there...do you see what I see?" Though that was when something struck his heart as he now knew he wasnt seeing things "DADDY PAPA!" was echoed through the cells in a loud heart wrenching sound.

They were lucky that they met little to no resistance in getting to the cells. Less of a chance that the Queen would find out something was happening within her own castle. Though something told Thalion that this easy streak they seemed to be on was not going to last too much longer. Odds were that the Queen knew that the said rumor of one of the said royal family members being alive was giving most a bit of hope. She had been trying to snuff that out whenever she saw it possible, short of killing the whole capital of course.

For now though he would take what blessing they seemed to have and see how long it would hold out. Having just made it to the top layer of the cell rooms Thalion shuddered a little. He never did like it down here. Though what was all the more horrifying was that half if not more then that of the cells seemed to be occupied. The Queen had been busy indeed. Apparently more so in recent weeks after capturing the two they were here to break out. Standing up to the Queen was not the smartest idea even though most only followed her orders to save their own skin and to prevent her lashing out at their families.

As much as he wished they had the spare time to deal with more then just the two he knew they didn't. A group of six was hardly a force strong enough to deal with the untold numbers the Queen had. Even if the group was lead by the last of known royal line. Mizuki spoke up though causing him to look at him as he told the guards to stay here to keep watch on the main door. It was the best idea for the group to break up and for the three of them to go alone to try and get to where the two were. The fun part was after that or so Thalion thought. Breaking them out and getting to the lowest level of the cells and finding their way through the tunnels to get to where he needed to get to.

The easier route was through the vault but it would take far more time to go from here to the vault then to take the lower tunnels to the cave he needed. Though Mizuki mentioning it was the fastest way down made Thalion groan a little. "I know you're right but that doesn't mean I like it anymore..." No he would be quite happier with walking. But they were already pressed for time so that was not happening.

At the smile from the other and the mention of magic or death Thalion looked at him questioning and half faking being excited at the thought. "Oh do I get a choice? I didn't know I actually got the choice of 'or death'" He knew that there wasn't a real choice but he had to voice his frustration at the thought of traveling this way somehow. "Wait prepare for what?" Though Mizuki never answered him as he had cast the spell already and Thalion got his answer.

Both of them panting as he glared at the other. "Warning.. next time ..." It was hardly all he could do to stand up for the moment in a combination between the energy used for that spell and the fact his body tended to disagree with such methods of traveling. Though as he was getting his breath back was when Mizuki spoke up asking the other to tell him he was seeing things. "After that spell I wouldn't doubt it." He hissed.

Though the complaint was short lived as Mizuki forced him to turn and face where he was pointing. He stood there a moment before the two voices rang out and both Mizuki and Thalion seemed to think the same thing instantly. Though Thalion was the one who voiced it. "How the hell?!" Neimi cringed at the voice as she stood and rushed to where the two children were. She started to speak as he took the master key, they had managed to get from one of the guards, and started to walk towards the cell door stopping her from speaking. "I Don't want to know and at the moment I don't care."

Either way he unlocked the door and luckily they weren't in chains or anything, probably being little to no threat as far as the guards were concerned. "But we are having a long talk once this is all over with. Because when we said watch them we did not mean watch them run off.." Neimi frowned a bit before protesting a little. "It's not my fault your lovely daughter slipped a sleeping tonic in the tea she made.." Belquiri smiled a little rolling back on her heels a little acting like she had done nothing wrong.

"She what-" He sighed finally. "Me and you are having a talk as well." He said towards the young girl. "Though that explains why you were bothering me so much to learn ancient elven.." The girl probably used a old potion so the odds of it being detected were probably slim. Besides that what type of six year old plans out putting a sleeping tonic in their caretakers drink?! Well she was Mizuki's after all... He wasn't sure if he should be scolding her or be half proud in a way but still angry with her for coming out here. Either way there was a time to worry about that and it was not now.

"Go to your Papa, both of you.. maybe between everyone here we won't lose two little kids between now and getting out of here..." To think they would get worse or more defiant once they were older. They already had minds of their own as it was. Either way the other two cells were not as easy as a simple key as they seemed to have a enchantment on them to prevent easy access. Of course they would. The last thing the Queen would want is for these two to get lose inside of her castle and her guards be unable to stop them.

"Well.. I'll be damned." The female started as she crossed her arms laughing a bit. "It's the runt." This made Thalion stop his work on trying to get rid of the enchantment on the lock as he glared at her a little. "Nice to see you too Ryza... I can leave you here you know." It was a thought about now. "She's just mad she lost the bet we had going." The older male spoke up hardly seeming to care about the woman's slight hint of annoyance in her voice. "You cheated you damned wizard..."

The male shrugged a little. "I might have known more then I let onto yes, and I might have known that certain rumors were true or not." Ryza growled a little at the other's words. Thalion stood there already having opened both doors as he crossed his arms. "You two done? can we have the family feud later? Like say when we aren't in the dungeon?" Though to that they both agreed. Though now they had the other problem. They couldn't just use magic to get to the lowest layer where they were planning to go. Not with the group they had now... It would be far too draining for that and if a fight did break out they would be in no shape to deal with it.

"Seeing as a time limit is out of the question now... This is Ryza Kath'nar, also known as the shadow knight and her father Vaden Kath'nar, widely known as the death wizard or I'm sure a few more colorful names outside of the city wall to mages that dislike the dark arts." Ryza smirked a little probably hinting where Thalion got a bit of his mouth from. "Or he can be called old man as well." Vaden sighed lightly at the mentioning of that. "True as it may be.. there use to be a saying of respect your elders."

"Yeah thats great and all but we have another three or so floors to get down to the tunnels.. and then hope they actually open." Thalion said before the two could start at each other's necks again. Not only that then they had to get out still, and past that out of the city... though he still felt like something was going to go wrong between now and then.

Never the less Mizuki still scolded the four for being here, though at the same time they couldn't ask for much else seeing as they were safe enough. Though Neimi and Raden were a little beat up at the least the kids seemed to only have a few scratches on them. He was sure there was some story about how this came about and why they had made it this far even. Let alone how they ended up in the dungeon.

Though that could all wait for another time as the group needed to move before anything bad did happen. Though he had a bad feeling that in the lowest section was where that so called doomed feeling was going to make itself known as to what it was. "You're still short, here I thought you'd at least grow a little." Was the comment that caused Thalion to glare at Ryza as they walked, she was easily keeping up with his pace. Probably finding it fascinating the last person she expected to be the one rumored to be alive was so. Also that and the last time she saw Thalion he was just a mere child.

"I'm not that short you know.." He wasn't really, sure a bit shorter then her of Mizuki as she was about Mizuki's height. She grinned a little knowing that it bothered him. Vaden shook his head a little keeping his thought of her acting her age for once to himself. Neimi seemed to shrink back to being silent after Mizuki mentioned she was a healer and should have been able to smell the difference in the tea. To be fair she didn't remember smelling any difference..

Mizuki was a little in shock at what he saw. The last thing he expected to be here was here. This was when he glared at Neimi as he crossed his arms. This was twice that something like this had happened! First during the war now he finds them locked in a cell in a capital in another kingdom! Mizuki growled as he stayed where he was though he watched Thalion walk over to the cell and open the door.

After a moment or two Nytria and Belquiri left the cell and ran for him though stopped short as he glared down at the young children "For one...your papa is very angery" He said at the young kids and right away their happy faces dropped "Do you know how stupid it was for you to do what you did?" Mizuki said looking to them and Belquiri teared a little "We just wanted to help" The little girl said who was joined in from her brother "Daddy and you are always so brave..." He said "We just wanted to be the same"

Mizukis glare melted at that before he knelt down before the young kids "You are still so young..." Mizuki said looking to them "Once you get older there will be many a battle that will need your hand" Mizuki explained "This however was something that you are to young for..though that seems to late now" Mizuki said giving another glare "How on earth did you get away?" Mizuki said with a tilt of his head.

This was when Belquiri smiled "I made a sleeping tonic and put it in their tea!" She said with a little giggle and Mizuki smiled "Did you now..." He said lightly and the little girl nodded her head "Yep!...though...I used your herbs" She said lightly "Sorry papa" She said after a moment and Mizuki frowned "I am disappointed in the two of you" He said "You should know better then to do this...you could of gotten hurt...or worse" Mizuki said with a frown.

Shaking his head he sighed "Now you two are going to listen to your papa...and if you even think about doing anything your not supposed to...both of you will be punished" Mizuki said with a stern look "Do I make myself clear?" He said and the two nodded at the same time "I mean it...nothing from you two" He said as he stood just in time for Neimi and Raden to come over to them.

"You two are going to sit down with Thalion and I when this is all done and we are going to have one hell of a long talk" Mizuki said with a growl and glare. This was when Neimi began to say sorry and Mizuki raised his hand to silence the female "A sleeping tonic Neimi?" He said with a shake of his head. Though he left it there for now as he picked up Belquiri. "Now take Nytria and fallow us...try not to loose him this time" Mizuki said as he turned intime to meet Thalion and two others.

Mizuki stood there as Thalion introduced the female and the male to him. Mizuki nodded his head a little in greeting "Sorry or the unfit meeting but it will have to do for now" Mizuki said with a smile before the group began walking. It would take a little bit of time to reach the end of the cells and Mizuki knew that. Looking to the kids he smiled "Now...hide your heads and close your eyes. Do not look up until papa tells you" He said with a smile as he felt Belquiris head dig into his neck.

As they walked Mizuki found himself beside the male Thalion said was Vaden. "So your the Shadow Knight" Mizuki said lightly "I have read all of your work that I could find...its all very impressive" Mizuki said with a smile. "I am Mizuki Kinsaki" He said with a little nod of his head to the male.

This was a rather unfit place to be meeting the company that they had now. Thalion knew Mizuki by now and odds were he would end up talking with Vaden long before this trip was over. Though the only downside to this was that neither Vaden nor Ryza seemed to be ready for much of a fight either. The group as a whole seemed a little worn, but they would have to get by or all of this was for nothing.

Though as they walked Thalion was a bit distracted. Mostly with what he had to do very soon it seemed. Something he had never wanted to do heck he vowed if not swore that he would not do it. He had his fill of dealing with the beasts that seemed to tie to his family's bloodline as guardians or whatever they were. They had been sealed away about the same time the curse was in place, heck he wouldn't be too surprised if that's what caused the curse in the first place was the process of sealing them.

Any of the beasts that weren't sealed had died off some time ago or turned feral. The few that did remain seemed to be the gate guardians of the city and he had proved how loyal they were still to the bloodline. Not that Mizuki had heard much on what happened that day due to where he was. This was not going to be pleasant and that was all he needed to know about it personally.

Neimi followed with Raden behind Mizuki as she held Nytria. The boy was more then tired so following Mizuki's order to not look around was easily done. Maybe taking after Thalion a bit too much in the fact if the child was tired enough he could sleep nearly anywhere. Though Neimi was hardly looking forward to the talk they were to have. Raden at least didn't have as many dealing with potions and tonics so odds were he'd have no idea but she should have. She was grateful Raden went with her though or they might have never found where the kids had gone. Being a scout he was rather skilled at tracking.

Though in Neimi's defense the young child had taken the last few days to prepare her plan. Even using a sweet tea to mask the smell from the tonic she had used. It was one that held a slight hint of sweet flavor and smell but with mixed in something already sweet... plus it wasn't like the common sleeping potions that were easy to detect. No she had pulled this one form one of the older books in the library that she had been getting Thalion to help her read for a while. Granted after finding out about the potion he regretted that decision.

Though anything Thalion was thinking on was disrupted at the moment as Ryza seemed to have to finally question it. "Whats with the kids? The half blood and human I can understand but-" "Long story... a very long one." She frowned a bit at that response as she spoke again. "Well we got a bit of a walk.. start talking." Thalion had no intention of talking or trying to explain all of that here and now. "Eh we'll call it a incentive to stay alive."

Around this time was when Mizuki seemed to start to speak to Vaden who seemed oddly silent. He wasn't normally but probably the lack of energy wasn't helping and the fact that there were a lot of things that could be changed drastically depending on how all of this went. "Hrm? Really?" He started thinking over the number of volumes that would be. Though after Mizuki mentioned his name he nodded a little. "That's what it was..." The slight confusion on Mizuki's face told him enough. "Sorry, I meant your name. I had heard a few rumors about of a lost royal being found among the wood elves as well. To say the least I'm a bit flattered you bothered reading my work."

Oh lord Thalion thought listening to the two talk. They'd never get him to shut up now. "I figured the Queen would have burned all of those books after the war between the elven kind started, seems I was wrong. Though I doubt you found anything worth while in those tomes, your parents were the true magical geniuses though on the note of parents... someone else's parent was a master as well." He said with a slight notion towards Thalion. "Not that anyone would ever know from the aura he puts off that is certain."

Reading aura's was not a novice skill that was for sure. He probably knew who Mizuki was, even if he had misplaced the name, from the mixed aura. That was uncommon if not rare to only Mizuki's bloodline. Though that being said he probably knew more about the two children then he was letting on either. But he was right as far as magic energy went Thalion had suppressed it as much as you could without removing it. Though this was when Thalion chimed in finally getting tired already of the banter.

"Just don't ask him how much he knows about you.. we'll never get him to shut up then." He smirked a little as Vaden waved him off. "Keep that smart mouth up and I'll summon your father back to deal with you too.." This Thalion had a comment to shut the old man up. "Eh.. why do you think I'm here even? Your a bit late on that." Well that was interesting was Vaden's first thought, though he knew of the pools were spirit energy gathered. Never heard of them giving advice though.

As Mizuki walked he couldnt help but to here the conversation between Thalion and the female he now knew as Ryza. At the females question Mizuki paid more attention to the answer that Thalion was going to give. "Eh we'll call it a incentive to stay alive." was the comment that came. Mizuki was expecting more then that to be honest. "So thats what I am called now adays...an incentive to stay alive..." Mizuki said tilting his head a little at Thalion with a raised eyebrow.

"Funny thing because the last time I checked there was more to it then that" He said to the male with a little glare as he slowed his footfalls and once again joined Vaden a little ways back. Deciding he might as well get to know his new companions Mizuki spoke up to Vaden. It was true though Mizuki had read all he could on the male beside him. As soon as he had found one volume he looked for the rest. Even though they were more like jot notes and writings then books.

As Vaden spoke to him after he said his name he couldnt help but give the older male a questioning look. What was what? Though his answer was soon there as the male continued to speak. Yes he was a noble that was found through traces of a blood line and even though he was currently the king of the elven kind he didnt really see himself like that. After a life like his Mizuki was still in shock. "Flattered?" Mizuki asked "You shouldnt be flattered" He said lightly "After all you are one of the leading dark arts masters" He said with a little shrug of his shoulders.

Because of his bloodline and his work Mizuki searched through all the magical masters he could. Mapping out who was the best at what and the top of the list for shadow masters was the male right beside him. Though his thoughts all but ended as Vaden spoke again. "Awe she attempted" Mizuki stated on the burning of the books "Though it seems there was some seers and scholars that didnt fallow orders" Mizuki said with a little laugh.

This was when the male brought up his parents and Mizuki frowned a little. He didnt have much memories on his parents. The only thing he really knew was some other people really. So as Vaden spoke of them his ears dipped a little. Though they did pick up as Vaden said something about someone elses parent being a master. At that his eyes drifted to Thalion though went back to Vaden as the male mentioned auras.

Well that was interesting. Not many in the world that he knew of could read or see an aura. Mizuki would have to keep that in mind down the road. He had always woundered what color his aura was. An aura usually matched the personality as well as the magical ability of the host. So with Mizukis combined powers he often thought of what color he was.

However his thoughts ended as Thalion spoke. Saying not to ask the male questions if he wanted him to shut up. At that Mizuki laughed "Well then in that case I think when this is all done you and me have to sit and have a tea togther" He said looking to Vaden with a little smile "There are...some things I wish to know and I am sure you could help me" He said with a smirk and a nod of his head.

This was when Vaden mentioned Thalions father and Mizuki smirked though the comment from the male seemed to silence Vaden for the moment. The male seemed to have a confused yet understanding look on his face. That was weird in itself though Mizuki didnt think much on it. He knew once they got out of here there would be all the time in the world to talk about anything that he needed or wanted to know.

After that Mizuki moved a little before turning to Raden and smiled "Please take her" He said motioning to a sleeping Belquiri. Passing the male the young female he sighed as he moved his arms "Shes not that small anymore" He said with a little laugh as his arm cracked. Moving he caught up to Thalion with a few quick strides "So...where exactly is this chamber...?" He asked lightly with a tilt of his head.

However he didnt get a chance for an answer as they seemed to round the last corner and Mizuki stopped at the sound before him "Well well well...what do we have here?" He head a females voice and he looked right ahead of him. There stood a female in some armor with what seemed like a good thirty men behind her. Well...that was just what they needed though from the way the feeling came back to him he knew this was bad.

Half of them were beaten or had a loss of energy and not to mention the fact of the kids. That right there was a great disadvantage and he knew that. Growling Mizuki glared at the female before them. Taking his staff in hand he turned his head and looked at Neimi and Raden "Guard them with your life..." He said witha glare and was glad he got two nods in return.

Mizuki mentioning that last he knew it was more then that. "Like I said a long story... though we all have to live through this first." He smirked a little at the thought of it. He knew it was more then that but not telling Ryza was going to get to her sooner or later. Ah the few things that annoyed his former teacher. Not that Mizuki had any idea thats what she was to Thalion. As far as he knew they could have been childhood friends or something. Or at the others fear or more.

"A title that is not always rewarding.. but you could be right." Ryza laughed at Vaden's reply to Mizuki's statement of him being a master of the dark arts. "He's just being modest, if it weren't for getting locked up he'd be buried in a pile of dusty books still." Thalion looked at Ryza with this before questioning it. "So is that how you two were caught?" He thought he was joking.

"We'll call it not one of my prouder moments.." Was Vaden's reply before Ryza could speak up about it. There was surely more to that story but none the less probably some cheap tricks involved to wear these two down enough to be caught alive. But soon enough he ignored any further comments from the two in front as Mizuki said some seers seemed to ignore such a order of destroying them.

"Least some where spared then I suppose. Not that they do most a bit of good." Most were dark element based, odds were rather rare to find someone trained let alone able to use such spells. Though he did know the one speaking to him had the ability to do so. "The two races have lost a lot of information on the past over the years... some of that can't be replaced now." It was the sad truth.

The mention of talking once all of this was settled seemed to go over well. "Just a few things?" Though Thalion said he would be avoiding whatever room they started this chat in for the week it lasted. "There is the thought of forcing you to listen to it as well... you might learn something if you weren't bullheaded like someone else I know." Referring to Ryza as she made a slight face at the idea of it.

There would be plenty of time for talk once all of this was said and through. Vaden was curious on what Thalion meant by thats why he was here. Surely he didn't actually get advice and heed it by his father. He could be wrong in such thoughts though. Being close to the royal family as Damien was he had tried helping Thalion's father find a cure for that curse but all efforts were too little too late by then.

After Raden took Belquiri from Mizuki was when the other spoke where this chamber was. Though Thalion started to speak up but stopped as a voice beat him to it and his ears dropped almost instantly. Oh this was not good. Raden and Neimi had no weapons, Vaden was working with what little energy he had gathered and Ryza.. well she could deal with herself. Plus himself and Mizuki weren't exactly at the best they could be.

Raden nodded before getting Neimi to back up so they were a bit further from what was soon going to be a fight. "So my seers were right... the rumors were not mere rumors and trying to break into my castle and steal my captives without me noticing.." She smiled having a hand axe as her weapon and she stood there ever so proudly.

"Though it seems all your efforts are for nothing... whatever reason you wanted to come down here i'll never know nor do I care." She looked to one of the men finally as she spoke. "Kill the others." Though as soon as the first of her men moved Thalion had already tossed over the second blade he normally had to Ryza. "Hope you can still fight."

Ryza smirked a little before taking down the first guard to get close enough. "Please... I'll be more surprised if you can keep up runt." Yep there was something between these two, though Ryza was older then she looked to say the least and whatever it looked like was between them was hardly the case. Odds are all of this would lead to some odd conversation at a later date.

Damien paused a little before attacking keeping whatever number he could from Mizuki and Vaden. "Can you manage anything?" Was the question as he forced a attack back. Vaden glared at him a little. "Youth needs to learn patience.. I have one shot at a spell and we need to make it worthwhile." Damien being called youth was a bit funny though or Thalion would have thought it.

Not that he had the moment to do so as the Queen seemed to have plans to toy with him as she moved finally after a few of her fighters fell and engaged with Thalion. "Shame you didn't die that night, it was such a delicious thought that some weak helpless child was run through with a blade." Thalion hated the way she spoke, like she had won already.

"But no instead you come back here and kill my only son and cause my city to try to rise against me!" She hissed a little as the two weapons connected. Once more his lack of years was betraying him in this fight. She was older and far more experienced in battle. There were plenty enough other fighters that help was little and far between.

"Just give up, acting like someone you are not will not make this any easier." She grinned a little seeing she had hit a nerve. "Or did you think you would make something of yourself? Trying to be like your father, that fool never knew when to give up either." Mizuki didn't know a lot of Thalion's past, there was more to it then just training. There were reasons why he trained so hard or why he pushed himself to his breaking point so commonly when he did.

None the less it was all he could do to avoid getting hit. That would not help Mizuki out any and they needed as much help as they could get at the moment. Though her words were striking a few nerves and Mizuki could probably tell this as the slight annoyance from the woman speaking turned into almost pure hatred.

Mizuki stood there as he watched what took place before him. So this would seem to be the current queen then. As the female spoke Mizuki glared. Her words rolled off her tongue like poison that seemed to strike something within Mizuki. Cracking his neck he hissed a little. From how tired he felt Mizuki knew that he had two maybe three spells that he could do before he began to cause Thalion issues and even then they would be lower class spells that would take one or two out at the most. Growling he watched the female speak.

Mizuki had to laugh to himself as the female spoke. Well for starters the kids and Neimi and also Raden were an unexpected rescue. Though the mention of the seers Mizuki glared. That was one reason why he hated seers...some had the ability to see into the future to aid the throne and it would seem the queen had some that did just that. How lucky for them and here Mizuki thought they were going to get out of this with out an issue. He should of thought better.

However Mizuki found it a little funny that she said it was all for nothing. Not to mention the fact she didnt know why they had traveled all the way down the cells. To her it was almost a dead end though to them it was the door way to a new passage. It was funny to him how nieve the current queen seemed to me. If you are to murder the royal family and take the throne at least learn the royal secrets first. That however was when his thoughts ended as he heard the queen speak again "Kill them" It was simple and short.

As soon as the words left her lips the men behind her charged and Mizuki was ready. Though he watched as Thalion and Ryza began taking out men together as Damien joined in beside them. Mizuki and Vaden stayed back a little. Mizuki had his plan and he was going to stick to it. It was not until Damien was forced back a little did he speak to them. The first to comment was Vaden and Mizuki couldnt help but smile "I know...there are few that appreciate magic now adays" He said "Not to mention the time it takes" He said with a little laugh.

Though Mizuki didnt get a chance to think anything more as he looked at the right moment. Casting his spell he caught the sword of the male that stood behind Ryza and just in time the blade mere inches from her gut. With a quick motion that ice spiked backwards impaling the male and another two that couldnt stop in time. Panting lightly Mizuki cracked his neck as he felt the sudden wave of hate and anger through the link.

Groaning he wobbeled a little before he looked over to Thalion. This was when he saw the male and the queen fighting though mostly the queens lips moving. What was she saying that was getting such emotions from Thalion? It bothered him a little though he didnt think much more as he cast another spell catching some of the men in a stone tomb.

Vaden agreed with Mizuki's comment though shortly after Thalion started getting really ticked at what the Queen was saying to him was when Vaden spoke up finally. "That should do.." He said before a few quick symbols were drawn in the air and the spell he had been working on seemed to be finished. Though he frowned a bit when only the slain fighters seemed to come back to life.

Either way it was turning the tide on this fight as Damien stepped back a little as well as Ryza as she shuddered a bit. "I'll never get use to seeing that... whats the face for?" Vaden shrugged a little. "I was trying to summon a dragon corpse... but I guess these will do." Probably didn't have enough energy for the other one he was tempting, that or a slight miscalculation on the distance of the corpse.

None the less the fight was slowly turning in their favor now though Thalion and the female seemed to be in their own world as the fight progressed. She kept talking and taunting with her words, whatever she was saying was getting to him and her plan worked enough as he seemed to not pay as close attention to the fight.

With this slight mistake he soon found himself on the ground with her standing there the weapon poised for that final strike. She seemed to grin all the more as she stood there. "Here you probably thought you could change your fate. You were weak back then and-" She started to move her weapon to finish the strike as she spoke.

Ryza grabbed Mizuki who started to move forward to cast do anything in his power to aid Thalion. "Wait." She hissed at Mizuki who protested that Thalion was going to die if they did so. Though the next sound seemed to quickly reverse who had the upper hand on this little fight.

Having forced a fire spell to her feet the woman's legs quickly gave out as she hissed in the jolt of pain though enough time for him to right the mistake he made a few moments ago. The floor was warped a bit thus showing what had caused her to lose her steady footing as he had already forced a blade through her chest where her heart was as she laid there.

She was a little off of the ground as she had tried to get up before Thalion had the time to strike. "I don't believe in fate.. and you're right I might never be as good as Zeffren." He said to her his ears back as he was still annoyed at her earlier words. Though with that he moved twisting the blade before pulling it out and her body falling back to the floor. "but sometimes the weak become the strong."

Though with that the fighting in this room for the ones that remained alive seemed to stop. But Neimi shrunk back more as footsteps rang out and more armed fighters came into the room. "We're doomed aren't we?" She asked Raden who had her and the two children behind him. Though he never said anything fearing she was right.

There was no way the group was in any shape to take on a fresh fighting force. Thalion was panting, Mizuki was panting. Heck they were all beat really. None the less Thalion refused to just roll over as he tensed a little as the group that entered the room seemed to pause. "Well!? Come on already!" He said the blade he had already poised to strike at whoever took a move first.

Though Damien and Vaden seemed overly relaxed at the moment. This was when the group that that been fighting from the start lowered or dropped their weapons and knelt down. Soon followed by the new group as well. This was not what he was expecting as Thalion took a bit of a step back.

Damien seemed pleased enough with this before kneeling as well. Vaden spoke up after the room seemed to be dead silent for the moment. "As according to our laws.." He started going through the official process of this speech. "The right to rule will be passed down through the royal line or by death of the current ruler and all heirs.'

That being said.. her only heir was dead already by his hands no less, and she lay on the ground at the moment with a wound through the heart. Thalion's ears went back listening to this. "What? N- no no no... thats not... " Looking at Damien the male seemed to nod a little that it was true facts. Though this was when Thalion seemed to get a bit annoyed. He knew and he never said anything on purpose! He had wondered why Damien had agreed to this trip and never once breathed of Thalion taking over. Odds were they would end up facing the Queen and something like this would happen.

Great what was he suppose to do or hell even say?! This wasn't what he planned on. In fact he never knew that such a rule was in place. If he did he would have... well he wasn't sure what he could have done differently really.

Mizuki stood there about ready to cast an other spell though he stopped as everyone around him did just that. No one was fighting and as Mizuki turned his head he understood why. Watching he saw the queen fall and that was when everything seemed to change. "What on earth..." Mizuki said as he watched the men one by one start to kneel before Thalion. Well this was an interesting turn of events.

Mizuki didnt have a chance to say or do anything before Vaden spoke up. The by laws...and looking to Damien and the smirk the make had he knew that he knew. Oh when this was all over there was going to be talks had with almost everyone he knew! This was going to be interesting to say the least.

As Mizuki stood there he was not sure if he should bow or not. Though he made up his mind as he did just that. Bowing infront of Thalion. Mizuki did not kneel he bowed. A king didnt kneel. Staying low he closed his eyes and breathed out. The emotions coming from Thalion was a mix so much it began to hurt his head. There was anger and confusion though a hint of sadness as well. Mizuki knew that this was the last thing Thalion wanted. Hell it was the last thing he wanted.

After a moment or two Mizuki stood up again gave a little sigh. He was not sure if he should go to Thalion or stay where he was. Looking around he almost laughed at the fact that no one moved or said anything as Thalion just stood there. Looking to the male Mizuki thought he would break the ice and speak "So...what will be your first act as king?" Mizuki said looking to Thalion.

Mizuki though didnt have a moment to say much more as a stinging met his cheek and his head turned to the side. Growling he turned back and looked at the drow male before him "You will use proper manners when speaking to the king 'Elf'!" The male hissed and Mizuki growled again. By this time he was a wood elf the spell was now gone having no energy to use it. Glaring he spit some blood out to the side before he glared a little at the male before him "....Mi'lord..." He said after a moment.

What was he suppose to say really? He hardly had been prepared for this. A fight yes but for everything just to stop so suddenly it had given him no time to think or even conjure up such a off the wall idea that they would make it out of here alive and barely scratched at that. Heck at the moment it was almost all he could do to just stand there feeling a bit weak in more then one way.

Mizuki and Damien knew better then anyone that Thalion avoided if not went out of his way to avoid meetings and anything that had to do with putting him anywhere near a position of power. Yet here he was pretty much thrown into one and hardly knowing what to do. Heck at the moment he wanted to tell the lot of them to just go to hell with their rules. Not that he thought that would go over well...

Though after a moment Mizuki spoke but he never got to reply before another spoke up and struck Mizuki. Thalion flinched at that. It wasn't the best hit but it was a good enough one. Though after Mizuki said mi'lord at the end he cringed even more. Yep he wanted nothing better then to tell the lot of them to shove their rules. Though Damien seemed to flinch a little at the hit as well. Giving Thalion a look of should he say something or if Thalion was going to speak up.

Oh this was a headache already... It was a interesting turn of events that was for sure. At the least they might not die through all of this but at the same time there were a few things that needed to be straightened up at the moment. Either way he sighed not wanting to deal with this. No the plan was to come in here and to get to the lower passages after freeing two ... not six and from there to deal with what he needed to deal with and leave.

Right first thing was first. Dealing with who Mizuki was on a few levels and then getting a bit of space so he didn't feel like he was going to pass out from being crowded right after thinking they were as good as dead. Thalion would have been more ticked that Mizuki was struck if his nerves weren't currently on edge and he had no idea how to calm them for the time being.

"Perhaps you should consider yourself lucky that Mizuki doesn't have the energy at the moment to cast a spell..." Though the mentioning of the name alone seemed to say enough for what mistake was made. Though Thalion didn't stop there and figured spelling it out was needed at the moment. Also if he stopped talking he was worried he'd never get the last part out that he needed to dismiss the gathering here.

"Being the current ruler of the neighboring elven city.. not to mention my mate." That last bit was said with a slight warning. Though by now the one that had hit Mizuki was already bowed down and begging near about for forgiveness of stupidity and really Thalion wasn't paying attention to whatever else was being said.

"Besides that.. grovel later right now my first order is I demand space." He was serious about that too with no one moved right away and he spoke up again. "Now." Was the stern voice, similar to the one he had used when he first proclaimed his love of Mizuki to the wood elf council.

With that the room soon cleared out and once it did and it was back to their small group he sighed heavily before stepping back again and using the wall to steady himself before he ended up sitting on the floor. Damien smirked a little as he stood before speaking. "So Mi'lord.." Thalion glared at him. "You.. oh i hate you more then I have energy to express at this moment..."

"As expected sire." He knew Damien knew about these laws! To not say anything he wasn't sure if he should be thankful for them or not, without ti they could have been as good as dead.

After the punch Mizuki merely glared at the male before him. He was half tempted to push himself just to shut the male before him up though he knew if he did that either Thalion or himself would collapse. So he just stood there though he did smirk as Thalion began to speak. First was the mention of his name and he watched in delight as the eyes of the drow before him widened a little before he took a step back.

All the while Mizuki just glared as he crossed his arms after a moment. Though Thalion didnt stop there as he continued saying his title and rank. It was funny to see the change in the in the male. He went from proudly sticking up for his king to groveling in front of one. Mizuki could almost laugh. It was not until Thalion said he was his mate that Mizuki looked to the male.

He didnt say anything as the next words that came from Thalions mouth was a demand. Though Mizuki noticed that no one moved. It was not until Thalion glared and growled "Now!" With a booming voice that said authority. He did however give a little laugh as he watched everyone but the small group leave in a rush. It was mere moments before they were once again alone and right away Mizuki could feel the reaction from Thalion.

After a few moments he sighed before moving and walking over to Thalion though he stopped short of the male. Looking to him he smiled a little. Mizuki knew the male needed his space but at the moment he wanted nothing more then to hold the male before him. Lightly reaching a hand out towards Thalion he stopped a little giving the male the option if he wanted in or not.

After the room was cleared out was when Vaden had to question what exactly did Thalion know that was when Damien seemed to say that he might have been keeping a few things from Thalion. Plus a few facts that he had grown up outside of the city so odds were not as much as he probably should know.

Though Thalion hardly paying attention to any chatter as he had a killer headache at the moment and had no idea who he was going to get out of this mess. Though Ryza was standing there a moment taking in what exactly was said as she looking back towards Neimi and Raden. "Well that explains quite a bit now doesn't it." She laughed a little shaking her head. That talk they had earlier where Thalion refused to explain the children to her.

Thalion had stopped paying attention altogether until the footsteps had stopped as someone came close. Glancing up he noticed it was Mizuki as he breathed out a little being more tired and frustrated then anything. Though as the hand was reached out and stopped a little short was when Thalion grabbed the hand before getting Mizuki to sit with him.

"I think I'm cursed in more then one way at times... " He started before laughing weakly. Either way they seemed to be more or less safe now. Granted they had a few new problems to deal with due to certain events but still. Never the less he didn't leave Mizuki sitting there for long before he moved and pulled him close holding him there.

"Can I go back to being unimportant yet?" He half muttered knowing that was already impossible with just being married to Mizuki let alone this now. Ah yes that simple life was far from over before but now that was a impossibly. Heck Mizuki struggled with leading and he was experienced at it. What the heck was he suppose to do?

He still knew that they had a task to finish but at the moment he wanted to jus sit here to let things settle. He was already going to have to explain a few things once they got to where he needed to get to as it was. Also that was another bit of a walk so they'd need the energy anyway.

Mizuki was glad as Thalion grabbed his hand and he soon found himself sitting beside the male as he sighed. "Some times I think we both are" Mizuki said lightly to him "Or do we not remember how I became king?" Mizuki asked looking to him with a little tilt of his head. Though Thalion continued to speak and Mizuki gave a little laugh. Resting his head on Thalions shoulder he sighed a little "No I dont think so...at least not until Belquiri is old enough to take that throne" Mizuki said with a nod.

If there was anything that Mizuki knew it was that the females of the drow kingdom were normally the leaders of everything. So Thalion would be the one to pass it down to the next heir and in this case it would be Belquiri. Mizuki sighed a little as he sat there. He felt like shit and his head was killing him. "Well...." Mizuki said after awhile "As much as I like sitting here...can we get this over and done with so I can sleep?" Mizuki asked turning his head a little into Thalions neck.

He still didnt move though as he gave a little sigh. Kissing the dark neck lightly he moved his head before standing. Turning he reached a hand down to Thalion with a smile "Come on...lets go" He said lightly as he grabbed Thalions hand and hoisted the male up with a little groan. He was tired and he knew Thalion was to it was shock that they were moving to Mizuki.

Mizuki had a point, even then when she was just old enough to take over it might not be the best idea depending on how things were. Not only that but there wasn't a rule against a male leading just it wasn't really heard of. Though to be honest Thalion was more then happy at the thought of stepping down at the moment. None the less he breathed out a little at the thought of it. "Well we have a while before that happens."

Thalion smirked a little as Mizuki said can they get this done with so he could sleep. "Can't promise how much sleep you'll get once the process starts .. but might as well get it over with." There might be a few details he left out, like with them being on low energy reserves the odds of this little process having no effect on either of them were slim to none.

Once they were both standing was when Ryza cleared her throat finally as Thalion looked at her. "What?" Ryza shrugged a little. "Oh nothing..." Though apparently Damien had mentioned how much he hated any titles and such as she finished what thought she had on her mind. "mi'lord.' Thalion glared at her a little before he started walking. "Great I'll never hear the end of it!" She smiled all the same before grabbing Vaden's arm and making him walk. "Come on old man."

Vaden started to suggest he stay behind before Damien spoke up knowing how to persuade otherwise. "Once in a lifetime opportunity and you want to miss it?" Listening to the three talk Thalion looked at Mizuki before sighing. "It half sounds like i'm putting on a show here doesn't it.." None the less the group followed the tunnels till they came to a overly large door that was covered in old markings and carvings. Gems scattered about it as well as Thalion looked at it before shrugging.

"Kind surprised they didn't try to break it down actually..." Vaden spoke up about this remembering that the Queen had tried. "It wasn't from lack of trying, but the doors have been sealed for the past..well back when the elven war took place." Only the royal bloodline could open the doors and they had been sealed from back when the curse was first formed. A means to a end it was suppose to be or so they thought, it was a bit of a grey area as to the reasoning behind the sealing of this place and the curse itself.

None the less Thalion moved walking towards the door as he paused a little trying to think of what ever that was needed to open it. After a moment he pulled out a small dagger and cut the center of his palm, nothing deep just enough for it to bleed really before placing the hand on the door in the center of a circle. After a moment he stepped back once the circle glowed and the wound on the hand seemed to heal about the same time. Though the door opening was a work of art on its own as the carvings twisted and moved against their frame, the door they had first seen was one with two dragons having their wings crossed blocking the door from opening.

Though now after the symbols stopped glowing finally and everything seemed still both dragons had their wings back and extended so the door could be opened. He never saw the purpose in all of the extra work put into such doors, it was a waste of time though a neat trick to watch none the less. Though a moment later the doors opened finally as they seemed to lead into another much larger cave.

"Now the part I'm going to hate..." He said before taking a few steps before a roar was heard and his ears went back a little at the noise. Mizuki seemed to follow him as he smirked a little. "By the way .. she's a little cranky." He said but before the question could be spoken was when a large golden scaled dragon made her presence known as she took a few steps from the shadows her eyes golden as well and her scales were a vibrant mix of gold and silver in the light. The dragon was larger then most breeds recorded as she stopped moving and sat before the two.

Her eyes narrows before the jaws finally opened almost with a amused tone. "It took you over three years to heed my call?" Thalion sighed a little before crossing his arms. "Forgive me how long have you been in here? hat was three more years." He huffed before noticing that the rest of their group seemed a bit awe struck.

She was a gorgeous sight to behold. The mother dragon, she had been sealed here through the ages. One of the few if not the only dragons that could speak to anyone and not just her rider. Though her rider had died a long time ago thus she could no longer fly. It was a breed of elder dragons, thought to be extinct really though she might be the last of her kind. That or the others were sleeping in various locations.

"So then.. your promise?" She asked as her tail thrashed against the ground behind her a little before curling around her. Thalion sighed. "Not really the plan but it seems to be one in the same with my own needs.." The dragon snorted. The massive beast could probably kill the lot of them. Apparently there was a deeper tie as to why Thalion hated dragons and she might be the reason behind it. Making a deal with a dragon was not the smartest move and he had probably done so as a child.

Mizuki fallowed Thalion until they reached the large double doors. The images carved there was something to say the least. Two dragons wound around each other in an eternal dance to guard the door. In the middle of four large clawed hands rested a circle. Mizuki was in awe the craftmenship on the door was something to see. However he turned his head to Thalion as the male raised his hand and cut the palm before placing the bloodied hand in the circle.

Mizuki watched after a moment as the male stepped back and the circle began to glow. It was a soft glow as writing soon appeared. After that the dragons moved and unwound until they stood with wings wide stretching back as the door opened "Well would you look at that..." Mizuki said a little in awe at the sight before him.

"Now the part I am going to hate..." Mizuki heard and he smiled before stepping up beside Thalion and fallowing the male into the dark cave. At the mention of the male saying she was cranky Mizuki looked to him with a questioning look "Whos cranky?" He asked though he got his answer a moment later. Hearing a little growl he turned his head just as the large dragon took a step from the shadows.

Golden and silver in color she was a sight to see. Mizuki stared at the beast for a moment in awe with his eyes wide. Dragons as old as this have said to be gone from this world for a very long time. Mizuki couldnt help but stare at the female dragon before him. Even as she spoke and Thalion replied he couldnt help the gaze.

Mizuki couldnt help the step that he took forward as he gazed at her "Never in my days..." Mizuki said lightly "Did I ever think I would see a dragon of old..." Mizuki said in a little whisper "So many things you must have seen..." Mizuki said in an awed stuper "To see what you have seen..." He said with a smile before giving a little bow to the female dragon before him "Such rare beauty in dark days such as these" He said lightly before standing up.

This however was when he turned to Thalion and smacked the young males arm "She had tried for three years and we just get here now?" Mizuki asked with a little growl and a cross of his arms "If I would of knowen that this would of been over and done with already" Mizuki said with a little huff as he crossed his arms.

The dragon seemed to listen to Mizuki speak as she tilted her head a little. "One familiar with the tales of old then, you do keep interesting company it seems.." The dragon shook her head a little at Mizuki spoke saying to see what she had seen and afterwards bowing a little. "I am no different from any other long lived creature on this world as I bleed all the same." Granted her size alone would put most off as to even try to test if she bled or not. The scales were probably plenty more reason to avoid trying, dragon scales only strengthened as the beasts aged. She might be as close to immortal as a dragon could get.

"You speak as though you don't have time to see the lands... you are young still for elven." She shifted a little eyeing the small group before looking back towards Thalion and Mizuki. "You are all young save the wizard. He knows of the destruction my eyes have seen and the pain that the lands have felt over the many years." More or less saying it might be a blessing to not know at times rather then to know and watch things unfold and be unable to stop them.

Though Thalion was letting this odd exchange carry on before Mizuki hit his arm. "Heh... she's been waiting longer then that." He finally admitted as the female shook her head a little and her tail thrashed once against the ground landing rather heavily. "I have... and I expect your end of the deal to be upheld. I kept mine and after I have waited for you to return and have enough power to pay your dues." She growled a little as she thought about the years ticking by and having nearly lost hope on this day to come.

Thalion sighed finally knowing he did owe her. "Yeah there are a few reasons I am here, you know of the other." The dragon seemed pleased at the mentioning of this. "The curse yes? Once the bindings are gone the curse will be removed from you." Thalion started to ask what about Nytria but she shook her head slowly. "I cannot say, there are things beyond my power." Probably meaning how the children came to be even. That was old magic at work there as well.

Not like he could refuse now though, going back on his word wasn't something he commonly did, even to a dragon. Plus if something happened to him then Nytria would have to deal with the same thing he had gone through for all of these years. At least if he fixed one of the problems he could be around to help find a solution for Nytria as well. "Fine.." Thalion finally said before looking at Mizuki for a moment so he could explain a few things.

Though there was probably a story behind why a dragon of old had placed a curse on anyone. That could wait till they were somewhere else to chat about that. "You're not going to have any energy once the spell to release the bindings if finished." Glancing a little at the dragon he went on to explain something else. "Also if the curse is removed there will be some reaction, I don't know if it will carry through the link or not.." Odds are it would not, though he had no idea the pain or really anything that would happen once the curse was lifted.

None the less Mizuki seemed to be ok with all of this as Thalion moved forward as the dragon moved to lower her head to where the cuff that was on her neck was close enough for what Thalion needed to do to remove it. Binding a creature was easy, the removal of the bindings when you were not the caster was a little tricky. None the less he moved putting a hand on the cuff before he started the spell right away Mizuki could probably feel a sting from the spell being of old magic and draining quite a bit of energy off the bat.

This process lasted a little while till the spell was finished and the cuff finally seemed to open before disappearing into dust. With that he stepped back again as the rest of the bindings seemed to do the same and the dragon shifted slightly testing this. "There we're even -" She moved to look at Thalion before speaking. "Not quite..."

Though after that was said was when Thalion seemed to double over after falling to his knees. "Now we are even." She spoke before shifting her weight and laying down near where she had been sitting before. "and now you have a new fight to contend with." She was not doing this to be cruel it was the results of removing a curse that turned the body into a unlimited power supply. It was trying to adjust for twenty some years worth of not having a energy limit on top of being drained from the spell.

Thalion would describe the pain as something similar to if you were sealing magic. It probably had the same effect really or something similar. None the less he wasn't taking well to it at all. The only good thing was that the link seemed to be unaffected by this pain Thalion was in so Mizuki had no idea. Really his magic was back lashing a bit at the sudden restraint it had never known. Being as his element was fire he was sweating and seemed to struggle breathing for the time being.

Though the dragon had not just left him to his own. She was allowing space for Mizuki to do as he pleased as she spoke to Thalion in his mind. 'This is what you wanted, so fight. Change is to happen soon and that means you have no choice but to stay alive for it to happen... you know failing is not a option.' He did know that and he was trying to fight and to get over this but it would take some time for everything to settle and adjust. Even with the lack of energy the effects were strong enough to do this.

Mizuki stood there and listened to the dragon as she spoke. Yes it was true she was a long lived creature and she did bleed just the same even if that blood was almost to never seen. Though this was when the dragon before them spoke again saying that they were young. Yes for eleven they were young. Even with Mizukis own age he still had many years left.

Mizuki couldnt help but frown as Thalion spoke after he smacked his arm. Though it was the words from the beast that made his ears dip down and his frown grow deeper. It was sad really to have your fate bound by another. Let alone one that was supposed to be dead. It was a sad tale indeed however the note that they finally made it there made him happy a little.

Mizuki turned a little though as Thalion and the beast spoke again he couldnt help but stop "Wait...you mean all we had to do to remove that blasted curse was to remove an anklet from a dragon?" He asked lightly. Nodding his head he sighed "Seems about right for our luck" He said looking to Thalion before shrugging his shoulders a little "Might as well now since we are here" He said with a nod.

However this was when Thalion turned back to him and began to speak. So...no energy and pain seemed normal to him "Alright" He said with a nod and he stood there as he watched Thalion turn back to the dragon. The spell was a long one but as it went on Mizuki could feel the shift of power.

The loss of energy was starting to get to him and he could feel his knees wobble a little. Well Thalion was not kidding about that. Though it became worse as the spell ended and Mizuki found himself falling to his knees as he panted. "Well...that...sucked" He said between pants. His head felt like it was splitting in two.

Groaning Mizuki looked up and he made it just in time to see the cuff fall from the dragon before turning to dust. Mizuki smiled, so it worked. As Thalion spoke again and stepped back Mizuki didnt have a moment to react as the male fell to his knees holding his gut. Though the moment he was on the ground Mizuki found the energy he needed and moved.

It took him a moment to reach Thalions side but he didnt think as he reached out and held the male. He could feel the harsh breathing and the sweat that came from the male. "Thalion!" Mizuki said as he moved infront of the male. Knowing he would regret it he cast a spell and his hand covered in frost. Thalion was heating at to fast of a rate.

Placing the hand on Thalions neck it almost instantly melted away. Fine thats how its going to be Mizuki thought as he growled. Casting another spell ice formed and covered his hand in a thick layer. Placing it on the males neck he heard the hiss from Thalion as the ice melted drenching the front of the males shirt.

Though as Thalion seemed to gain more heat Mizuki frowned as he hunched over with the male "Come on...you have to fight it" Mizuki said to Thalion "Remember your promise" Mizuki said in a pained whisper as he moved his hand around to the males chest hearing the ice sizzle away.

Mizuki was scared...he didnt know what to do. He couldnt feel the pain that Thalion was going through but if Mizuki had a guess it was intense. The block of power for so many years then the sudden flow of energy...it would hurt. With the lack of energy the male had and the wounds on top of everthing Mizuki was scared that he was going to loose him.

Moving his head in Mizuki growled low as his eyes brimmed with tears. His ears were dipped all the way back as he held onto the hot male "You cant leave me..." Mizuki said in a paint whisper as he lifted the males head and kissed him full on the lips. At this moment Mizuki didnt care who was there. Nothing like that mattered to him at the moment.

Yes getting the curse removed was that simple as the beast was the one who cast it in the first place. Though such knowledge had been lost for quiet some time. Thalion had agreed years ago to try to free the dragon but he was just a child, maybe only agreeing to go against what he was told to do and that was to avoid this place. Either way he would have eventually ended up coming back here, it just seemed to have a multiple purpose this time.

Either way once the spell was finished it as almost all he could do to stand there and move back a little. He knew Mizuki had fallen to his knees and he started to say something to the others comment before the dragon spoke they were not even yet. It was a bit too much to hope for that once the curse was gone it would be a easy shift and that he didn't have something else to struggle with. That was a lost thought as soon as the wave of pain took over.

As Mizuki tried everything to help Thalion that he could Neimi cringed a little as Nytria moved a little and glancing at her. Though she hugged him close shaking her head a little. Even if neither of the two voiced it she felt the smaller body quiver a little. This was when Ryza seemed to growl a little. "Damn it.. don't you die now after beating all odds."

Pain wasn't the word for it, in fact he didn't have a word for it but it wasn't something he'd wish on his worse enemy that was for sure. He knew Mizuki was there, or he thought he knew anyway. He was pretty sure he heard the other talking.. saying he could leave and that he promised. Though no matter what the other did it didn't seem to ease anything going on.

The dragon seemed to grow tired of this, she never made it common place to step in and interfere but she felt she could make a exception this time. Moving a little the giant form from before seemed to fade as a smaller form started walking towards Mizuki where he was holding onto Thalion. The new form held the same grace of her former dragon self and seemed to take on the looks of a high elf.

"so stubborn.." She said with a hint of amusement in her voice as it held the same power as before. Though that comment could be said for the pair of them as she watched this. Things would be interesting depending on how long these two remained in power. None the less she stopped before lowering her hand placing a few fingertips on Thalion's forehead.

Almost instantly things seemed to reverse, though the sudden gasp where he could breath normally probably was what worried Mizuki the most, that and the fact he wasn't really moving all that much at the moment. Though the concerned look on Mizuki face the dragon waved off. "he'll recover faster this way.. just give it a moment."

spell wise who knew what she had really done. It looked like she had merely put him to sleep but it seemed to settle everything as soon as she had touched him. By moment she really did mean a moment as breathing seemed to level out and he finally opened his eyes seeing Mizuki still holding onto him for dear life.

"I've.. come to a conclusion.." He said before wincing a little, apparently her spell didn't heal everything or rather fix everything. Probably on purpose at that. "No more deals with dragons..." He said relaxing a little more against Mizuki's hold, though at the least it seemed like things would be fine for the moment.

Even as the kiss was placed nothing changed and Mizuki cringed. He couldnt leave the male like this yet Mizuki knew of nothing that he could do. It was not until he got the glimpse of the dragon from his side that he raised his head a little. Looking he watched as she morphed down to another forum this one appearing to look like a wood elf. Well that was interesting.

Though Mizuki didnt move as she walked forward to them. The only thing he did was tighten his arms around the male. Like hell something was going to move him away. "What are-" Mizuki began as she reached a pale hand out touching the males forehead though he stopped at the gasp. "Thalion!" He said before the male fell forward again with his breathing changing.

Soon the harsh breathing mellowed as the male seemed to calm in Mizukis arms. Mizuki stilled as he moved the male a little "Thalion...." He said lightly to the male though he smiled as he saw those ember orbs open and look up to him. "Oh by the gods..." Mizuki said lightly though he gave a little laugh as Thalion spoke "No more he says..." Mizuki said with a little shake of his head "Though I agree with you." He said lightly.

Looking to Thalion he raised a hand and placed it on the males cheek rubbing it softly "I swear if you ever scare me like that again..." Mizuki said with a little sniffle. "I cant loose you...you know that" He said lightly before leaning in and kissing the male lightly before pulling back a little. This was when he smirked some "Now..." Mizuki said lightly "Is it almost bedtime...?" He asked with a tired tilt of his head and a soft sad smile.

The dragon seemed to wait a moment with a slight smile on her face. Honestly did he expect her to kill Thalion after everything? Granted there were reasons her kind was so rare but that did not mean that they were all so cruel. Though at Thalion's words she glanced at the two before speaking. "You are complaining? I can return things to how they were." Not that she would but still.

The thought made Thalion cringe a little. Going through that a second time, yeah no they could pass on that. "Not complaining.. " Though he smiled a little at Mizuki as he said he couldn't lose him. I didn't go anywhere, you worry too much.." Though he wasn't sure there for a bit. The female shook her head a little. "If I had thought it would have killed him I would not have go through with such a thing." Granted she made the process a bit shorter but over all saying that Thalion would have been fine sooner or later.

Mizuki's question of if it was bed time or not seemed to amuse the dragon a little more. "Hrm... after one more task perhaps." This made Thalion worry a bit as she seemed to know what she wanted. He had a good idea of what she meant by that. Not that she gave any further warning to her plan before she teleported Mizuki to another section of the cave. She soon appeared beside the male with her hands folded behind her.

It was a section that seemed hallowed out and there were a number of eggs in the room. Though she had placed Mizuki near one that seemed to be glowing on the inside softly. "Before you ask.. he'll be along shortly, until then I wanted to see something.." Meaning the egg that seemed to be reacting to Mizuki.

Though she figured it was fair to explain a few things to Mizuki while he seemed to have to wait and was confused. "Hatchlings choose their riders. but only one bloodline can restore their ability to hatch" Long story short she needed Thalion still... she was one of the last, maybe even so of her kind. These eggs were the last hope that she had to keeping her kind from dying out.
