Robin shook his head tucking his hands into his lap. "I have been at work mostly. I think each time she came I might have been out." He used one hand to push his glasses back on his face. "What else does she cook?"

it made sense. "pretty much anything south of the mason-dixen line and east of texas, do you like fried foods?" he ladled soup into the bowels and brought one over to his roommate, "it is hot, let me get you a spoon"

He looked a tiny bit troubled. "I do but not to much and not too spicy. It will feel like a rock in my stomach if I eat it to much." Leaning forward he blew at the edge of the bowl making crescent waves in the chunky soup. "Thank you for cooking for me."

pulling ut the silverware he grabbed his own bowl to bring over and gave robin his spoon. "...robin, about before. do you really like me or did i misunderstand? because, well, i like you rather a lot but i don't want to overstep myself... actually i didn't even think you were gay"

He found himself turning crimson and moved quickly away from the bowl, tucking his hands back in his lap once more. "We haven't really talked before have we..." he let out a nervous giggle. "I... don't want to pry but... I do fancy you." He stared intensely at his soup almost as if he could make it boil. "No, I am not gay persay, I am people sexual."

he was pleased enough to hear he was liked back not to embarrass them both by not knowing what the other meant by 'people-sexual' and instead tried to work up the courage to ask his next question. ".......canikissyou?"

His face hurt from the amount of red that radiated from it. Though the other often spoke fast, he was beginning to understand what he was saying. Coyly he nodded. He braced himself for the unknown. All to quickly he felt the press of the moist lips against his cheek before it was gone again.

the thrill of it was enough to make him feel light and he could not push down the wide smile on his face after pulling away. "...so does this make me your boyfriend or is this a secret?"

Robins entire face grew flush and the heat made his head spin. He did not see why it did not. He liked Jerial and was happy. Life would be that simple. "Yes!" He squeaked grinning.

he didn't realize his grin could get any bigger but at the word it did and he felt giddy, happily he kissed the side of robin's lips. "t-then i can do that whenever i please?"

He nodded grinning dumbly. The other repeated his action again, and it made Robins face stretch farther. Robin laughed leaning forward to kiss... his boyfriend in the same way but stopped. "Um... can I kiss you?"

that caught him up unexpectedly and he could only offer a nod in reply

Robin leaned forward pressing his lips against the others. He pulled back quickly feeling a thrill of excitement rush down his spine. He did it again and was just as happy. Robin reached out and put his hand over Jerials. "You are my boyfriend..." He grinned. "I don't know anything about you though." He used his other hand to push back his glasses. "Um also aren't we suppose to have dinner and go to a movie first?"

the words were funny enough to make him laugh out loud. "that is right, weeks of living together and i hardly know you either.... i don't know about movies but we have eaten together already, does that count?"

Robin gasped. He wasn't sure if dinner counted as a date when you like some one or if it was just dinner. His shock turned into a smile. "Then we have been dating all along." He ran his fingers fondly over the others. He looked at the soup that had been cooling as they spoke and finally lifted a spoonful with his free hand. He closed his mouth around the rich broth, it was one of the best soups he had tasted. He laughed. "You are better cook then me."

that was not quite right but he would not argue, that robin liked him at all was enough for him not to argue semantics. he gave him a smile, "thankyou, i can cook for you if you'd like though mam might not be pleased if i give up on homemade all-together"
