1K per 20? That would be stupid and underpriced XD I think runes are healthy at 2.5-3K per 20

I was making a reference to a per 10 price I got once~

Greed is bad. Nobody cares. /thread

Cheesecake 08-03-2011 02:00 PM

I think it could be 1-3k for 20 runes.
>w<. But it depends on the seller.
I'd sell mine for the price I bought them.
Maybe a little higher. XD

Cheesecake 08-03-2011 02:00 PM

I also will buy them for 200 aurum per if need be.

If you ever gave it some thought, greed is wanting something you don't have right? Have you ever wanted a certain boy/girl to like you? Or what about affection from your parents? That's greed believe it or not. It is neutral, it's just how you view it.

Hermes 08-03-2011 02:08 PM

I think runes cost so much because only a few people have them~

Did you know, you -can- just put a five in the mail and send it to Trisphee? Grats, yer very own runes XD You pay for convenience by paying aurums for them~

I wouldn't compare those two things to being greed.
BY DEFINITION:

"Greed is an excessive desire to possess wealth or goods with the intention to keep it for one's self. Greed - like lust and gluttony - is a sin of excess."

Those two examples CAN'T be compared to this in any way...so if you are comparing wanting someone to like you it sounds like you are wanting them to commit to you or get your parents to only love you and forsake everyone else.

Hermes 08-03-2011 02:13 PM

I think I see why you two will continue arguing forever XD

Illusion makes beautiful points as a seller~

Cheesecake makes valid points for the buyer side~

I don't see this conversation ever ending. Considering locking this XD

Cheesecake 08-03-2011 02:13 PM

Hell yeah, I will. XD
>w<.

I mean no disrespect or anything, though.

You copied that off of wikipedia didn't you? XD
Well all I can say is that everybody has desires, it just depends on the strength of the person to know when enough is enough.
I'm entitled to my opinion so :/

But think of this, think of a world without greed. And really think about it, a world were nobody has a desire to keep something.

Hermes 08-03-2011 02:20 PM

Well, everyone but me would prolly die.

We all know Hermes is immune to world

Yes, I did and it also is stated in a dictionary that is beside me. I think you are kind of mixing up your words a bit. GREED is an EXCESSIVE OR REPETITIVE DESIRE. Not just a desire. Wanting something really badly is not greed, it's lust. And the world without greed would be a bit better to me because there wouldn't be as many poor people if everyone was kind, hard-working and generous.

Hermes 08-03-2011 02:22 PM

Greed is the desire to have and to hold all things, especially those you do not have~

Gluttony is the want for excessive amounts of specific things~

Lust is the desire for pretty things and the like, at any cost~

Combine all three, and you have classic human error ^_^

Lust can be pointed toward anything, it doesn't have to be pretty. >w<.

And I agree, ALL seven deadly sins are pretty much making America a pig sty. If we eliminated it, we'd be on the top of the world like we were.

Likewise, no disrespect or anything. I argue about this stuff intensely because I wonder what the world would be like without an emotion and or desire.

I can respect that. But, you are throwing greed in as desire. I can imagine a very pitiful world without desire and emotion.
