Oh is it that bad? Tell me all about it o:
|
well First off, she writes it as if the teen is writing it, which gets annoying... but it's not that bad.
Second off, The main character likes this one fae guy but of course they don't start dating until the third book. So you sit there yelling at the main character, because she likes him so much and he is trying so hard to be with her and she just sits there worrying that he is no good for her and that why would he ever like her. WTF? Third off and the most annoying part, is that she feels the need to repeat EVERYTHING that went on in past books. I don't need to hear what the fae looks like for the third time, because you think i'm not gonna remember that he looks fae and he is hot and has long blond hair.... Sad thing is that isn't the only thing she feels the need to repeat. It's really annoying, expressively since there is no need or reason for it. The books only came out a few months apart from each other, so it's not like it was about two years in between books. |
Oh god that does sound horrid D:
I seriously hate when books repeat things. I understand if the first chapter kind of overviews what's happened especially if there was a lot of time between each book but I still hate it. I want to skip it but am afraid of missing something important Dx |
well she does it through out the book when it comes up.. not a summary at the beginning... which makes it worst, at least for me
|
Ugh id hate that. Its like hey. I JUST read that Dx
|
right??? I love the concept of the book and it's giving me great ideas for my story, so i am going to finish it, but that is about all i have so far as to why i keep reading it.
|
Ah.. I understand that lol
|
i just hope the other books i plan to read are better....
I also like the fact that it doesn't have a ton of sex in it... |
what are they? (:
yeah. i dislike books that focus on that. i mean a little is good but not too much |
yea with this book they mention in the second book, but she promises her virginity to a bad guy so they talk about sex all the time but that is really about as far as they go since the main character doesn't want to have sex with him.

iron witch was just.. fantastic. i loved it. isnt there a second book? i forget |
Are those fae books?
|
Personally, I prefer Tolkien's definition of Fae best. ;3 The genre is even more vast in such a definition, and sheds more light on the history of the word.
|
*needs to mail Asami books* I have all of the Marr books.... I love them... but Ink made me worry about getting a tattoo designed by someone else.
