    eh?

LoL A friend in Japanese pointed that out. And we made Sensei say it as well, and she got all tongue tied. Every so often I'll say it and see how fast I can.

    Ah night!
And I was wondering because she corrected me to plain form when I used formal... but I wasn't sure why cause I thought you could use both. XD that's why I asked.

Doesn't matter with kedo, which is why I love it.

Either is fine, but it's up to your sensei's preference. Some teachers prefer more formal and others are fine with casual. And you use the the verb's plain form also.

BTW, going to sleep now Az. But I'll get to your questions in the morning (if any). Night!

er, no, we haven't gone over that yet. XD
Ugh I feel like there's so much to remember. So much that I just half know.

Also with Kedo, do you need to make it plain form or formal? Or does it matter?

There's another form ~つもり that you can use for "planned" things, but I don't know if it's something you've covered yet.

You use the plain form of the verb when modifying a noun.

これは私が読んだ本です。(past) This is the book I read.
これは私が読んでいる本です。(present) This is the book I am reading.
これは私が読む本です。(future) This is the book I will read.

With the noun modifying thing, if you're saying "this is the book I read" it'd be "これは、私が読んで本です。" right? Like the modifying noun thingy.
